A JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS’ ERROR: ANALYSIS IN MATHEMATICAL STORY OF CARTESIAN COORDINATES USING POLYA STEPS
Solving mathematics word problem is an example of problem solving which is helpful to everyday life, but not all students can easily solve it. Most students have difficulty and errors in solving it. Researchers often find in journal information that students struggle to complete a story. In some cases, it is a matter of mathematically shaped stories in the matter of cartesian coordinates. More than a few students are uneasy to solve mathematics word problem. In fact, many students have not known the concept of cartesian coordinates. The purpose of this study is to describe the type of error and the factors that cause students to make a mistake in solving mathematics word problem especially cartesian coordinates with the correct step of understanding the problem, formulating a plan, carrying out a plan, and examining the answer. It is a qualitative study carried out at public junior high school 2 Sukodono. The data of this study consist of data on written tests and interviews with the group A of VIII-A SMPN 2 Sukodono students. The method of data collection of this research is tests and interviews. The method of data analysis in this study id data reduction, test results analysis, display data, and withdrawal or verification. The subject of this study the three students who the most errors. Studies show made that the flaw of subjects 1, subject 2, and subject 3 lie in the understanding of the problem, formulating a plan, carrying out a plan, and examining answer. According to Polya, the three students had problem at the stage of solving mathematics word problem therefore, the three subjects could not continue the work at the next phase of formulalting a plan, carrying out a plan, and examining answer. The cause of the students’ mistakes is that the students did not understand the concept of the matter’s coordinates. Students didm’t understand the problem well, so they didn’t understand the proper problem settlement planning. In short, the results achieved by the student are inadequate
PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR DAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR TINGKAT TINGGI PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI IMPLEMENTASI MODEL THINK PAIR SHARE DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI MTs NEGERI 3 REMBANG JAWA TENGAH
Higher-order thinking skills are the ability of students to analyze, evaluate, and create. Students with good higher-order thinking skills will have the drive to think broadly and deeply about the subject matter and be able to solve contextual problems based on critical and rational arguments. The results of observations of the mathematics learning process at the research site indicate that students tend to be less active in participating in learning, so high-level learning outcomes tend to be unsatisfactory. To solve these problems, the researchers made improvements to the quality of education by implementing the think pair share model. The learning improvement process was carried out in two cycles. The progress in learning indicates that students' learning activities and higher-order thinking skills have increased. Students' learning activities have grown from the initial cycle to the final stage of the learning process. The improvement in learning also shows that students' higher-order thinking skills have increased after taking action. Higher-order thinking skills of students have improved from the initial cycle to the final stage, with the average value in the initial cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2, respectively, being 35, 55, 95. The average higher-order thinking skill has increased from the initial stage to the final stage, from the initial condition to cycle 1 of 57.14%, and cycle 1 to cycle 2 of 72.73%. The research results obtained are under the indicators of research success, namely improving learning through implementing the think pair share model, successfully increasing learning activities, and students' higher-order thinking skills.

KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS NEGERI 1 SUNGAI TEBELIAN PADA MATERI SPLDV
This research is a qualitative descriptive study, with the aim of describing students' mathematical communication skills in solving problems using SPLDV material. The research subjects were students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Tebelian class X IPA I which consisted of 16 students. The number of subjects in this study consisted of three students who were categorized into three levels based on the division of students' communication skills. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the level of mathematical communication skills in solving math problems with SPLDV material was as follows: high-ability subjects achieved four indicators of mathematical communication, moderately capable subjects achieved three indicators of mathematical communication, low-ability subjects only achieved one indicator of mathematical communication. Of all students who were used as research subjects, more students belonged to the category of moderate ability as evidenced by the percentage of students who were moderately capable of 56%. Based on the results of these studies, improving mathematical communication skills is very important to achieve learning objectives
KETERAMPILAN MEMECAHKAN MASALAH FARAID DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN MATEMATIS MAHASISWA
The phenomenon experienced by students is their inability to determine the parts of the term Ashabul Furudh. This material is indeed difficult to understand, in addition to the many parts that must be known, it is also necessary to understand the fraction material. This is where one of the functions of mathematics in life is included in calculating inheritance. This study aims to examine students' thinking patterns in solving faroidh problems. In this study using a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects in this study were students of Tadris Mathematics semester VI. The results of this study indicate that overall students are included in the creative category because they are able to meet the four categories of creative thinking abilities that have been determined, namely fluency, flexibility, detail, and sensitivity. The high group subjects had very good creative thinking, the medium group subjects had good creative thinking and for the lower group subjects had moderate creative thinking
ANALISIS MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BLENDED LEARNING SAAT PANDEMI COVID-19 (DESKRIPTIF KUANTITATIF DI SMAN 1 BABADAN PONOROGO)
The purpose of this study was to analyze students' learning motivation in blended learning in class X MIPA 5 SMAN 1 Babadan during the covid-19 pandemic. The implementation of this research starts on November 9, 2021 – February 8, 2022. This research is a quantitative descriptive study conducted on 38 students of Mathematics and Natural Sciences class 5 students. This study uses a questionnaire based on indicators of learning motivation by Hamzah as a data collection technique. The results obtained from this study are that there are differences in the level of student learning motivation on the indicators of rewards in learning 58.97% with low learning motivation categories, indicators of interesting activities in learning 79.48% with high learning motivation categories, indicators of encouragement and the need for learning is 84.61% with the category of high learning motivation, and the category of learning motivation is very high on the indicators of the existence of hopes and aspirations for the future 94.87%, indicators of the desire and desire to succeed 100% and, indicators of the existence of a good learning environment. conducive 92.30%. The low category on the indicator of appreciation in learning is 58.97% because in blended learning students are required to be able to use communication technology, in this case, a smartphone with an internet network. Students' expertise in using smartphones makes students able to access websites and question-answering applications so that students can immediately get answers to questions without having to work independently or with their abilities. From the description of the research results above, it shows that learning motivation in blended learning in class X MIPA 5 at SMAN 1 Babadan is very high. This is based on the acquisition of the average value of the indicators of student learning motivation of 85.03

ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK KECERDASAN VISUAL SPASIAL SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL PISA KONTEN SHAPE AND SPACE DITINJAU DARI TIPE KEPRIBADIAN MENURUT DAVID KEIRSEY
This study aims to describe students' spatial-visual ability in solving PISA questions in shape and space content based on David Keirsey's personality type are guardian, artisan, idealist, and rational. This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Subjects in the study were eight students from Class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 7 Kediri consisting of two students from each of the guardian, artisan, idealist, and rational personality type. The data collection methods used were questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The instruments used in this study were MBTI questionnaires, shape and space content PISA test questions, and interview guidelines. The results showed that the achievement of the characteristics of the eight spatial-visual abilities of the subjects differed. Students with guardian personality are able to fulfill two characteristics of visual-spatial intelligence consisting of pattern search and conceptualization, but unable to fulfill the characteristics of problem-solving and imagining. Students with artisal personality are able to fulfill two characteristics of visual-spatial intelligence which consist of pattern searching and imagining. Students with idealist personality are able to fulfill the three characteristics of visual spatial intelligence which consist of pattern searching, conceptualizing, and imagining. Students with rational personality are able to fulfill all the characteristics of visual abilities consisting of pattern search, conceptualization, problem solving, and complete imagination in solving shape and space content PISA questions. This can be seen from the results of solving the questions given and interviews conducted on the research subjects
PENGARUHMBELAJARAN DARING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PADA MASA PANDEMI DI SMA NUSANTARA INDAH SINTANG
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of online learning on mathematics learning outcomes during the pandemic at SMA Nusantara Indah Sintang. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with regression research methods and simple regression research forms. The results of the F test or the significance value test (Sig.) obtained the value of Sig. = 0.067 which means > significant criteria (0.05), thus the regression equation model based on research data is not significant, as well as the results of the t test. There is a significant relationship between online learning and the learning outcomes of SMA Nusantara Indah Sintang student
PENERAPAN HIMPUNAN DOMINASI PADA GRAF UNTUK OPTIMALISASI PEMBOCORAN PIPA AIR MINUM DI KELURAHAN KALABAHI BARAT
Perkembangan penduduk yang sangat tinggi berdampak lurus pada kebutuhan air minum di wilayah Kelurahan Kalabahi Barat. Hal ini memicu persaingan antar masyarakat dalam usaha memperoleh air minum, yaitu dengan membocorkan pipa air minum yang melewati rumah masyarakat tanpa saling mempedulikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pembocoran pipa air minum pada jaringan perpipaan di wilayah Kelurahan Kalabahi Barat dengan menerapkan himpunan dominasi pada graf. Jaringan perpipaan yang digunakan sesuai kondisi sebenarnya, kemudian diterapkan ke dalam bentuk graf selanjutnya mencari himpunan dominasi untuk memperoleh simpul dominasi minimum. Hasil penelitian ini berupa total titik pembocoran pipa air minum yang optimum, yaitu dari sebelumnya total titik pembocoran adalah 276 titik yang mendominasi 536 buah rumah dan setelah menerapkan himpunan dominasi total titik pembocoran berkurang menjadi 177 titik yang mendominasi 536 buah rumah di Kelurahan Kalabahi Barat.

KEEFEKTIFAN KOLABORASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN AIR DENGAN CRH BERBANTUAN VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA
This study aims to: (1) determine the average ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who are taught using the collaborative learning model AIR (Auditory, Intellectual, Repetition) with CRH (Course Review Horay) assisted by video learning is better than the average understanding of mathematical concepts students who are taught using conventional learning models, (2) knowing the average mathematical concept understanding ability of students who use the AIR (Auditory, Intellectual, Repetition) collaborative learning model with CRH (Course Review Horay) assisted by learning videos to achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). This research is a quantitative research with experimental method. The population of this study were all eighth grade students of MTs Nurul Huda Banyuputih in the even semester 2021/2022 academic year. Data collection was carried out using the test method. The data obtained were analyzed by t test and Z test. The results showed: (1) the average mathematical concept understanding ability of students who are taught using the AIR collaboration model with CRH assisted by video learning is better than the average understanding of mathematical concepts of students who are taught using the model conventional learning, (2) the proportion of students taught using the AIR collaboration model with CRH assisted learning video gets a score of more than 75%
