ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH PERSAMAAN KUADRAT PADA PEMBELAJARANMODEL CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING
Abstract. Critical Thinking Skills is very important for us because critical thinking skills can be used to solve problems and as a judgement in right decision making. One of the methods used to equip students with critical thinking skills is using Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model in mathematics class. This research is a qualitative descriptive research aimed to describe the critical thinking skills of students in X-Class using CPS model in solving quadratic equations problems and the provision of scaffolding. The subject of this research is students of SMK N 2 Jember grade 10 (X-Class). The method of data collecting used in this research is critical thinking skills test and interview. Analysis of students critical thinking skills test is based on critical thinking skills indicat by Facione determined by the researcher. The results of this research showed that sudents critical thinking skills in X-TPM Class at SMK Negeri 2 Jember generally can be grouped into 3 categories are high, average, and low critical thinking skills. Students with high critical thinking skills satisfy all of crtitical thinking skills indicarors. Students with average critical thinking skills can only satisfy interpretation and analysis indicators. But less capable in evaluation and inference indicators. Whereas, the students with low critical thinking skills are less capable in interpreting the problem and they can't satisfy analysis, evaluation, and inference indicators.

PEMODELAN WIND TURBINE ROTOR TIPE HAWT (HORIZONTAL AXIS WIND TURBINE) MENGGUNAKAN METODE VOLUME HINGGA
Abstract. A Wind turbine is a wind energy converters tool into electrical energy. To optimize the electrical energy converted, it needs for further research on wind turbine process. In this research, the analysis part of wind turbine is rotor, which is the contacted part to the wind. Type of wind turbine that will be analyzed in this study is HAWT (Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine) type because this model is the most often used type and can produce great electrical energy. This research construct a model of the air flow field form of wind turbine rotor and solve these problems by using the finite volume method. Model simulation process will be done by using MATLAB and FLUENT software. The analysis was performed with the variation initial velocity level of wind. It is 3 m/s, 5 m/s, and 7 m/s. The simulation results showed that the velocity of rotation wind turbine rotor blade higher when the initial wind velocity increases. Beside that, the result is when the initial wind velocity of 7 m/s and 5 m/s, the velocity of rotation wind turbine rotor blade tend to be more stable. With 5 m/s of wind velocity to wind turbine rotor, The difference between an average direct calculation and a SOR iterative calculation is obtained the value of relative error less than 0.1%. it is 0.079%. So the finite volume method of numerical methods is effective to solve this problem.

TINGKAT KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF MATEMATIKA SISWA SMP KELAS VIII DI SMP NEGERI 6 JEMBER, SMP AL FURQAN 1, SMP NEGERI 1 RAMBIPUJI, DAN SMP PGRI 1 RAMBIPUJI
Abstract. The research aims to measure the level of creative thinking ability of math for Junior High School students in 8th year class especially in SMP Negeri 6 Jember, SMP Al Furqan 1, SMP Negeri 1 Rambipuji, and SMP PGRI 1 Rambipuji. The research methods are test with open ended problems and interview. The research shows that 2,84% students are in very high level of creative thinking, 2,84% are in high level of creative thinking, 21,49% are in the middle level of creative thinking, 29,75% are in low level of creative thinking, and 43,80% are in very low level of creative thinking among total 121 students. This shows that the creatitive thinking of math for students in 8th year class especially in SMP Negeri 6 Jember, SMP Al Furqan 1, SMP Negeri 1 Rambipuji, and SMP PGRI 1 Rambipuji are still low.

ANALISIS BUKU SISWA MATEMATIKA KURIKULUM 2013 UNTUK KELAS X BERDASARKAN RUMUSAN KURIKULUM 2013
Abstract: In 2013, there were changes of curriculum in Indonesia. The name of new curriculum is 2013 curriculum. The difference of 2013 curriculum is the student book has been provided by The Goverment. Analysis on student book is needed for reviewing the suitability of student book by 2013 curriculum formulation. Analysis was done based on four criteria, that are competence, material, scientific approach and authentic assessment. Research instrument was form of questions that consist of : 11 competence questions, 11 material questions, 10 scientific approach questions, and 8 authentic assessment questions. Analysis result showed the persentage of competence suitability is 80,49% (good categories), for the persentage of material suitability is 81,06% (good categories), for the persentage of scientific approach suitability is 95,83% (very well categories), and the persentage of authentic assessment suitability is 88,80% (very well categories).

ANALISIS KESULITAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL MATERI ALJABAR SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 2 BANGIL
Abstract: This research aims to describe the difficulties experienced by the eighth grade students of SMPN 2 Bangil in solving algebra material problems based on the concept understanding ability and to describe the factors causing the studentsรขโฌโข difficulties in learning algebra. The subject of this research is the students of VIIIC and VIIID of SMPN 2 Bangil in the 2013-2014 academic years. The data of the research are obtained from validation sheet, written test, and questionnaire and interview techniques. The results of this study indicate that the students still have difficulties in understanding the concept of algebra, in which the highest difficulty is on the indicator in restating a concept and applying the concept and algorithm into problem solving, while the factors causing the studentsรขโฌโข difficulties in learning algebra based on the results of the questionnaire are the internal factor and the external factor.

Abstract. The research aims to know the process and result of development of mathematics learning materials based on realistic mathemathics education for circle topic. Learning materialsdevelopment model refers to 4D Thiagarajanmodels which has 4 steps namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subject of research is students of VIII-A class SMPN 2 Wuluhan in even semester academic year 2013-2014.The data of research are obtained by validation sheet, observation sheet of teacher and students activities, questionnaire, and evaluation test. Theproducts of this research are lesson plan, student handbook, worksheet, and evaluation test.The result shows that the learning materialsqualifies validity, practical, and effective criteria.Based on validation process and tryout, the result shows that the coefficient of validity reachs 3 point, the percentages of teacherรขโฌโขs activities, studentsรขโฌโข activities, and studentsรขโฌโข responses are above 80%, it can be concluded that the learning instruments had fullfiledthe validity, practice, and effective criteria. PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) DISERTAI TEHNIK PETA PIKIRAN (MIND MAPPING) PADA POKOK BAHASAN PERSAMAAN GARIS LURUS DI KELAS VIIID SMP NEGERI 14 JEMBER SEMESTER GANJIL TAHUN A
Abstract. The purpose of this research is to increase studentsรขโฌโข activities and learning achievement score. This research implemented Student Teams Achievement Division methods by using Mind Mapping. This research type is a Classroom Actions Research (CAR) of two cycles, there are two classes in each cycles. In the first cycle the research taught rectangular topic, whereas in the second cycle is a square topic. The research methods are documentation, observation, test and interview. The data analysed in this research are studentsรขโฌโข activities and studentsรขโฌโข achievement score, teacherรขโฌโขs activities. The research show that the student activities attaine 60,38% in the first cycles and 76,95% in second cycles. The teacher activities attaine 75% in the first cycles and 91,66% in second cycles, andรย the achievement score attaine 76,40% in the first cycles and 85,22% in second cycles. SUPER (a,d)-EDGE ANTIMAGIC TOTAL LABELING OF CONNECTED TRIBUN GRAPH
Abstract. A G graph of order p and size q is called an (a,d)-edge antimagic total if there exist a bijection f:V(G)รขหยชE(G)รขลธยถ{1,2,รขโฌยฆ,p+q} such that the edge-weights, w(uv)=f(u)+f(v)+f(uv), uvรขหหE(G), form an arithmetic sequence with first term a and common difference d. Such a graph G is called super if the smallest possible labels appear on the vertices. In this paper we study super (a, d)-edge-antimagic total properties of connected Tribun graph. The result shows that a connected Tribun graph admit a super(a,d)-edge antimagic total labeling ford=0,1,2 for nรขโฐยฅ1. Abstract. For a simple undirected connected graph G(V,E) with vertex set V and edge set E a labeling รฏยฌ : V รฏฦห E รขโ โ {1, 2, 3, ..., k} is called a total k-labeling. A total k-labeling is defined to be an edge irregular total k-labeling of the graph G if for every two different edges uv and xy of G there is รฏยทt(uv) รขโฐย รฏยทt(xy). The minimum k for which the graph G has an edge irregular total k-labeling is called the total edge irregularity strength of the graph G, denoted by tes(G). In this paper, we determine the total edge irregularity strength of volcano graph tes(Gbm,n) and the total edge irregularity strength of s copies volcano graph tes(sGbm,n).
