ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN DAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA KELAS VII SMPN 2 JEMBER
Abstract. Mathematical reasoning ability is the ability to think through math problems logically in order to get a conclusion or a solution. Mathematical communication ability is the ability to present mathematical ideas through notations, symbols, or images. This research aimed to describe student’s mathematical reasoning and communication ability in solving math problems. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research with 9 students of class VII-A SMPN 2 Jember as the subjects who have categorized according to the strudent’s ability of mathematics (high, moderate, and low). Methods of data collection in this research are test method and interviews method. Based on the results of the mathematical reasoning and communication ability’s test reinforced by interviews, the ability of student’s mathematical reasoning and communication to solve math problems are varied. For the mathematical reasoning ability, from 3 students that have a high mathematical ability, 2 strudents have a very good mathematical reasoning ability and 1 student has an enough mathematical reasoning ability. From 3 students that have a moderate mathematical ability, 2 strudents have a good mathematical reasoning ability and 1 student has an enough mathematical reasoning ability. From 3 students that have a low mathematical ability, 3 students have less mathematical reasoning ability. For the mathematical communication ability, from 3 students that have a high mathematical ability, 2 strudents have a very good mathematical communication ability and 1 student has an enough mathematical communication ability. From 3 students that have a moderate mathematical ability, 1 strudents has a very good mathematical communication ability and 2 student have a good mathematical communication ability. From 3 students that have a low mathematical ability, 1 student has an enough mathematical communication ability and 2 students have less mathematical communication ability. It can be concluded that the higher the student’s mathematical ability, the higher the student’s reasoning and communication ability in solving math problem.

PROSES BERPIKIR SISWA AUTIS DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL KONTEKTUAL MATEMATIKA DILIHAT DARI TEORI SURYABRATA
Abstract: The purpose of this research is to descripbe about autistic students’ thinking process in solving contextual problem standards based on Suryabrata teory’. The data by giving test contextual mathematic problem which integers operations subject. Problem given to autistic students of class VIII SMPLB TPA Jember, amounting to four students. Problem given first validated by 2 doses of mathematics education and 1 math teacher SMPLB TPA Jember. . Data analysis can be observed from students’ work sheet. Student’s answers analyzed according to the components of Suryabrata Teory’. Suryabrata teory’ consists of three components which are (1) forming understanding; (2) forming opinion; (3) drawing conclusion. The results of this study is, autistic students tend to meet the second component of the theory Suryabrata. This is directly proportional to the theory that autistic students have exceptional ideas in solving a problem. Autistic students have difficulty in fulfilling the first and third components of the Suryabrata theory. This is directly proportional to the theory that autism students have difficulties in communication

PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STUDENT TEAM ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) BERBANTUAN KOMPUTER DENGAN SOFTWARE CABRI 3D TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN GEOMETRI POKOK BAHASAN SUDUT DALAM RUANG DIMENSI TIGA SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 1 PAKUSARI
Abstract. The purpose of this research was to determine whether the application of STAD cooperative learning model computer-assisted with Cabri 3D software affect on the student’s geometry ability. The population of this research is the students of grade X Pakusari Senior High School. The sample of this research was determined by cluster random sampling technique. Class X4 was selected as control class and class X5 as experiment class. The result of this research showed that the students geometry ability whom taught by STAD cooperative learning model computer-assisted with Cabri 3D software has increased than students whom taught by expository methods group based. It also appears that student activity at the experiment class is better than control class when group learning process held. There is a positive influence between the use of Cabri 3D software on the student’s geometry ability as a result of the application of STAD cooperative learning model computer-assisted with Cabri 3D software on matter of angle in three-dimensional space. It can be concluded that the application of STAD cooperative learning model computer-assisted with Cabri 3D software has an effect on geometry capability on matter of angle in three-dimensional space students of X grade Pakusari Senior High School.

TINGKAT KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL LUAS PERMUKAAN BANGUN RUANG SISI DATAR
Abstract. The research proposed to describe about student creative thinking skill in resolving about the flat sides shape surface area in class VIII D SMPN 2 Jember about 31 students.An instruments used is creative thinking skills package test, interview guidelines, and tests validation sheets and interview guidelines validation sheets. This research used the creative thinking to identify the capacity to think creative experienced students.This research used three aspects creative thinking that includes fluency, flexibility and organility. In this research known the percentage the aspects creative thinking students namely 40,59 % on the aspect of fluency, 33,33 % on the aspect of flexibility and 26,07 % on the aspect of originality. According to the research, average of class VIII D SMPN 2 Jember most students are on TBK 1 ( less creative ) with percentage 29,03 %, then category students have creative with the percentage 25,81 %, creative 25,81 % and the lowest is the number of students categories creative enough with the percentage 19,35 %

REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS SISWA TUNANETRA DALAM MEMAHAMI KONSEP SEGITIGA BERDASARKAN TEORI VAN HIELE
Abstract. Mathematical representation is an ability of people to re-express their interpretation about their understanding of a problem. In the practice of learning, students frequently could not represent their own mathematical interpretation. It is caused by many factors, for instance, physical limitations owned by students with visual impairment. In this study, it would be described about mathematical representative in the form of written text, mathematical expressions, verbal representations, and visual representation in understanding the concept of triangles. Therefore, the type of the research is decriptive research with qualitative approach. The subject of the study is 3 students with visual impairment in VII grade in SMPLB-A TPA Jember. The description of mathematical representation of blind students are adjusted to the level of thinking based on Van Hiele theory. Van Hiele divides students' level of thinking into 5 levels: visualization, analysis, informal deduction, deduction, and rigor. The three subjects conduct test of thinking level based on Van Hiele theory, mathematical representation test, and interview. The level category of students’s thinking is figured out through Van Hiele theory. Mathematical representation test is used to comprehend mathematical representation by using written text which containst the written explanation of the subjects towards the triangles and mathematical expression about how the subjects solve the problems of the triangles by using mathematical model. Meanwhile, the interview is used to know the verbal representation which contains the oral explanation about triangle concept and visual representation about how the subject creates the triangle.

Abstract.Power dominating set is a concept of determining a minimum vertex in a graph that can dominate vertex connected around.The smallest cardinality of the power dominating set is called power domination number.Power domination number denote γp is theminimum cardinality of a power dominating set, it haswhere (G) is the power domination number of G, Z(G) is zero forching number of G,and ∆(G) is maximum degree of G. This paper is writtento fine the value of powerdomination number on graph. The used graph is pathedge comb triangular book graph. And in each phase of finding this problem is associated with high order thinking skill.

Proses Berpikir Kritis dalam Memecahkan Masalah Terbuka Berbasis Polya Sub Pokok Bahasan Persegi Panjang dan Persegi Siswa Kelas VII-B SMP Negeri 10 Jember
Abstract. This research is a qualitative decriptive research. The study was conducted on 36 students of class VII B SMP Negeri 10 Jember. This study aims to determine the level of critical thinking and critical thinking process of students in solving mathematical problems based on polya. Grouping is based on Polya's breaking step and students' critical thinking skills in open math problem solving. From the results of research at the stage of understanding the problem students with the uncritical category (S1) is only able to do one problem only and for other problems S1 can only write down what is known and asked in the matter. Students with the category of less critical (S2) able to understand and explain the problem well and can prepare a plan of completion.Students with moderately critical category (S3) are able to solve the problem correctly. Students with the critical category (S4) are able to solve the problem and draw conclusions correctly. Students with category (S5) mapu solve all problems appropriately. S5 is able to use other ways or alternatives in solving problems with correct answers.

ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN KONEKSI MATEMATIS BERDASARKAN NCTM (NATIONAL COUNCIL OF TEACHERS OF MATHEMATICS) SISWA SMK KELAS XI JURUSAN MULTIMEDIA PADA POKOK BAHASAN HUBUNGAN ANTAR GARIS
Abstract. This paper describes the students' mathematical connection ability on the matter of relationship between lines based on NCTM (National Council of Teachers of mathematics). The mathematical connection indicator used in this research is six. Mathematical connection aims to help the formation of student perceptions by viewing mathematics as an integrated part with the real world. The data collected in this study is the ability of students' mathematical connections on the material relationships between lines obtained from the test of the mathematical connection ability of six subjects. Of the six subjects categorized in in three groups, namely upper group students, middle group students, and lower group students. Through the interview obtained more in-depth information about students' mathematical connection ability to the relationship between lines. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The results of the research have been done, the upper group students are able to understand five to six indicators of mathematical connection, the middle group students are able to understand the four indicators of mathematical connections, while the lower group students are only able to understand two to three indicators of mathematical connections. Thus, it can be concluded that the higher the level of mathematical ability of students the higher the ability of mathematical connections.

PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA (LKS) MATEMATIKA BERORIENTASI SCIENTIFIC APPROACH UNTUK MENUMBUHKAN KEMAMPUAN HIGHER ORDER THINKING (HOT) POKOK BAHASAN PERSAMAAN LINGKARAN PADA SISWA SMA KELAS XI
Abstract. This research aims to produce valid, effective and practicality students’ mathematics work sheet oriented to Scientific Approach to grow High Order Thinking ability in circle equation subject of eleventh grade senior high school. Research type which is used is Plomp’s development research model. Plomp’s development phases consists of 4 phase which are, (1) initial investigation phase; (2) designing phase (3) realisation/construction phase (4) test, evaluation, and revision phase. Subject which is developed is circle equation. Test done to 34 eleventh grader students of XI MIPA 4 MAN 1 Jember .Validation result for students work sheets show that validity cofficient for LKS is 3,69 so students work sheet has valid interpretation category. Students’ activity achievement level at first to third meeting are 84,89%, 82,81%, and 91,67% with very good category for every meeting. Teachers activity percentation at first to third meeting are 85%, 88,33% and 90% with category very good for every meeting. Analysis data learning result showed leaning result completness is 79,41% and students fulfilled 75 to 100 minimum score, while for stuents’ respond questionnaire to every statements components score 93,66% for students who given positive respon. So this mathematics students’ worksheet oriented to scientific approach to grow High Order Thinking ability in circle equation subject of eleventh grade senior high school has fulfilled validity, effectiveness and practicality.
