    Design of Microstrip Antenna Single Patch Semi Circular at 2.4 GHz Frequency with Inset Feed Method

    The use of technology using cable has now been replaced by wireless communication technology, where most users use access point devices that have a limited emission range because on omnidirectional radiation, so we need an antenna that has a directional radiation pattern for a more directed emission range. Semi circular single patch microstrip antenna with inset feed method is one that can be used for this problem. In this final project, microstrip antennas can be applied to WLAN systems. The results of the test found that the antenna can work at a frequency of 2.4570000 GHz. And besides that, also obtained a return loss of -25.68 dB, VSWR of 1.122 dB, bandwidth of 84.250000 MHz, Gain of 13.96 dBi, Average LOS (Line Of Sight) of 24.73 Mbps for uploads and 10.37 Mbps for downloads, Average NLOS (Not Light of Sight) of 14.34 Mbps for uploads and 7.78 Mbps for downloads, Distance testing along 130 meters of LOS conditions and 140 meters of Lossess conditions, the results obtained are feasible to be implemented on wifi systems and other communication systems with a 2.4 GHz frequency

    Comparison of Machine Learning Algorithms Using WEKA and Sci-Kit Learn in Classifying Online Shopper Intention

    The growth of online stores nowadays is very rapid. This is supported by faster and better internet infrastructure. The increasing growth of online stores makes the competition more difficult in this business field. It is necessary for online stores to have a website or an application that is able to measure and classify consumers’ spending intentions, so that the consumers will have eyes on things on the sites and applications to make purchases eventually. Classification of online shoppers’ intentions can be done by using several algorithms, such as Naïve Bayes, Multi-Layer Perceptron, Support Vector Machine, Random Forest and J48 Decision Trees. In this case, the comparison of algorithms is done with two tools, WEKA and Sci-Kit Learn by comparing the values of F1-Score, accuracy, Kappa Statistic and mean absolute error. There is a difference between the test results using WEKA and Sci-Kit Learn on the Support Vector Machine algorithm. Based on this research, the Random Forest algorithm is the most appropriate algorithm to be used as an algorithm for classifying online shoppers’ intentions

The researcher used OCTAVE Allergo method in mapping and measuring Information Systems at Universitas Internasional Batam, consists of Academic Information Systems, Academic Portals, Registration Information Systems, Financial Information Systems, HR Information Systems. From the results of this study, Universitas Internasional Batam finds out which impact areas are the most effected: the reputation and customers trust, recognize the information of critical assets, mitigate assets that have high risks, in order to minimize unwanted risks

    School institutions in Batam have problems in how the events they conduct can support the school's operational effectiveness. The solution model for these problems is to build web-based event systems using the dynamic systems development (DSDM) method. This system aims to solve problems that occur in event scheduling at activities carried out at school institutions in Batam. The school representative used is a school in Batam. The method is done by learning and the feasibility of case studies, model functionality, design, and implementation. This implementation produces a system that is very helpful in processing data and reports during the event. Starting from the registration of the event, the continuity of the event, until the completion of the event, all can be stored in detail. Besides users, there are also managers and administrators. Managers have a role to manage the data entered by registrants, while administrators give access to each user account and maintain system security. This system is divided into 2 roles with one as a user and one acting as an administrator. Registrants to participate in this event act as users. The results of this study are that school operational effectiveness increases after implementing this web-based event system

    Wifi technology is a means to obtain information quickly, to strengthen the role of the signal, an antenna is needed because the antenna serves as a means for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves which are contained signal information. Mikrostrip antenna has a characteristic that is small, light, thin, easily fabricated, and can be used at a great distanceIn the use of wifi antenna require a relatively small shape and a cheaper prize. One of the antena on that specification is a microstrip antenna. By using 2 circular array method, the microstrip antenna can improve the wifi signal and wider on bandwidth. In this final project will be designed and created microstrip antenna with the 2 patches ccircular array methodwith slot that will be used as a wifi receiver. The results of the antenna microstrip rectangular 2 patches measurement indicating that it can work optimally on 2.406 GHz frequency, on a value of return loss – 22.90 dB, a value of VSWR 1.160, a value of bandwidth 0. 1035 GHz, and a value of gain 14.95 dBi

    Music Effect Studies in The Experience of Playing Video Games with Qualitative and Quantitative Approaches

    This research is conducted to determine how music affects the video game experience. Effect of music in video game is considered important in building emotion and scene in video game but always considered below graphics and gameplay importance, moreover they are rarely a scientific approach to prove how music of video game affect its player. This research uses qualitative approach using experimental method; and quantitative approach to further prove the correlation. The experiment uses three games with four music variation, each consisting of 30 participants. The game we used are agar.io, Dots, Typing Challenge. Result of the experiment shows that music is able affects gaming performance is positively depending on genre of video game. Questionnaire response from every participant indicate that music has a strong correlation to video game experience and gamer’s performance. Music affect significantly performance in Games that design to be fast paced and quick reaction; but not really shown in slow paced and tactical approached games. Further study needs to be conducted to see how the video game music affecting player combined with other elements of video game

    This study was conducted to determine the influence of perceived Usefulness, ease of use (Perceived Ease of Use), security and Privacy of student admissions (Acceptance Of SISFO) at Universitas Batam International through an approach using the Model Techonology acceptance model (TAM) using the analyzed variables are Perceived usefulness (PU), Perceived ease Of Use (PEU), Security and Privacy (SP). Respondents in this study involve active students of the International University of Batam, sampling conducted with purvosive sampling technique, related to the level of testing data obtained will be conducted by testing validity, realiability test, regression test against variable Perceived usefulness (PU), Perceived ease Of Use (PEU), Security and Privacy (SP). Data processing in the study will be conducted empirically using SPSS software, which results the above expected fromindependent variables is a significant test sample to determine the predicted acceptance rate to Academic information systems. The results of study show that testing of independent variable is significant and jointly has a positive influence on the dependent variable, there is the greatest influence on the Security and Privacy (SP) variable so the level of acceptance of academic information system is expected to provide security and maintain the confidentiality of user data

    Denyut Nadi pengembangan yang teraba pada pergelangan tangan diatas arteri radialis berupa gelombang tekanan yang mengembangkan dinding arteri pada saat gelombang tersebut menjalar. Dalam dunia medis dan olahraga, tekanan denyut nadi sangatlah penting karena dapat mengevaluasi dengan cepat kesehatan dan juga kebugaran seseorang secara umum serta dapat mengidentifikasi penyakit secara dini. namun jika ingin mengukur denyut nadi, kita harus pergi ke rumah sakit untuk mengetahui tekanan nadi tersebut, terutama pada olahragawan, sehingga dapat memakan biaya dan waktu yang cukup banyak. Oleh karena itu kami merancang alat deteksi denyut nadi berbasis android secara realtime yang dapat dioperasikan kapan saja dan dimana saja. Metode pengukuran denyut nadi ini menggunakan mikrokontroler dan berbasis android. Dimana perancangan deteksi nadi menggunakan cara sistem monitoring detak nadi yang meliputi perancangan perangkat keras dan sistem protokol komunikasi, Sedangkan perancangan software membuat diagram alir terlebih dahulu dari perangkat lunak yang akan direalisasikan (flowchart). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah dapat membantu semua orang atau tenaga medis dalam melakukan perhitungan denyut nadi secara digital. Tahapan-tahapan dari penelitian ini adalah meletakkan alat pada bagian tubuh seperti pada jari, telinga dan dahi yang selanjutnya diproses oleh Arduino UNO. Data hasil pengukuran yaitu Beat Per Minute (BPM) akan ditampilkan ke android, sehingga dapat memudahkan seseorang untuk memantau denyut nadi tanpa memakan waktu dan biaya yang banyak
