Design and Simulation of Analog Modulation with the Infinite Impulse Response Method
Penelitian ini berdasarkan salah satu roadmap prodi Teknik Telekomunikasi Jurusan Teknik Elektro Politeknik Negeri Medan. Materi dasar dalampraktikum Dasar Telekomunikasi I bersifat dasar suatu sinyal. Sinyal yang diberikan ke sistem atau rangkaian, keluarannya diukur oleh osiloskop dan/atau spectrum analyzer. Rangkaian dasar sistem analog dalam telekomunikasi meliputi filter, penguat, osilator dan mixer. Menurut penelitian rancangan filter terdahulu yang telah dilakukan, kemudian dilanjutkan kepada penelitian karakteristik penguat dan mixer analog pada modul ED-2950P. Penguat dan mixer dikelompokkan menurut RF, IF dan daya.,Rangkaian dibangun berbasis IC 555, μ741 atau LM348 terbaru dan didukung generator sinyal, 10 MHz, 50 MHz. bentuk gelombang dan analisa respon frekuensi menggunakan Osiloskop digital, 100 MHz. Rancang bangun rangkaian tersebut diiringi dengan program simulasi menggunakan MATLAB dengan metode IIR, keduanya akan dibandingkan hasilnya. Hasilnya cukup memadai dengan faktor error bervariasi rata-rata 0,0964 Vpp sampai 0,236 Vpp dan standar deviasi dari 0,070 Vpp sampai 0,0340 Vpp untuk tegangan masukan 1 Vpp. Mixer terdiri dari modulator AM
Pulse Injection Method to Increase Precision of Rotary Encoder on Switched Reluctance Motors
Penggunaan switched reluctance motor (SRM) dalam aplikasi industri banyak diterapkan, hal ini dikarenakan SRM memiliki kelebihan antara lain tidak menggunakan magnet permanen serta kontruksi sederhana berupa inti besi pada rotor dan belitan stator. SRM membutuhkan informasi posisi rotor dalam pengoperasianya. Informasi posisi rotor yang sering digunakan adalah sensor hall effect yang sudah terpasang di dalam body motor walaupun adanya kelemahan terhadap akurasi. Untuk mendapatkan akurasi yang baik maka rotary encoder digunakan sebagai informasi posisi rotor. Rotary encoder memiliki tingkat kepresisian yang tinggi tapi dalam pemasangannya dibutuhkan sinkronisasi terhadap posisi rotor. Injeksi pulsa dilakukan untuk mencari kesesuaian antara posisi rotor dengan rotary encoder. Pada makalah ini diusulkan kendali SRM dengan informasi posisi rotor berasal dari pulsa rotary encoder. Hasil dari injeksi pulsa digunakan untuk menentukan profil induktansi pada posisi tertentu. Berdasarkan profil induktansi didapatkan sinkronisasi antara posisi rotor dengan pulsa rotary encoder. Watering Stimulation of Alliun cepa L Plants Based on IoT Through the ESP32 Microcontroller and MQTT Protocol
Allium cepa L. (Shallots) is classified as a seasonal plant that requires special water treatment techniques correctly and precise watering methods. Farmers in the highlands of Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi, mostly still prefer watering this plant traditionally and manually even though it is in large garden areas. Farmers also find it difficult to handle watering crops on large tracts of land and are overwhelmed by not having enough time to care for water evenly. Implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) based onion watering method utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller with the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol, and is very easy for farmers to implement. The MQTT work system implements Publish and Subscribe data. The method and system for designing this tool is that if the shallot plant is 1-10 days old, this tool will water twice a day evenly, the morning and evening. Then if the shallot plant is 11-60 days old, this tool will water only once, in the morning. When the watering automation is implemented, the information system is in the form of a message (on the smartphone) signing by logic 0. Conversely, if this tool does not flush, then the message that comes on the smartphone is as logic 1
E-Commerce Customer Segmentation Using K-Means Algorithm and Length, Recency, Frequency, Monetary Model
The growth of the e-commerce business sector presents competitors and creates company competition. Customers are the company's main asset that must be maintained. Understanding the different characteristics, behaviors and habits of each customer segment is important for companies to identify potential customers, establish important strategies, manage customer relationships and increase company profitability. The needs and desires of each customer are different, so that determining a strategy requires a method of segmenting customers according to their respective similarities. Using the clustering method with the K-Means algorithm helps determine customer segmentation based on transaction history data. Determination of the optimal k cluster randomized K-Means doesn't always give good result, so the Elbow, Silhouette and Davies-Bouldin Index methods are used. The determination of the test variables is based on the LRFM model (Length, Recency, Frequency, and Monetary), so that the customer segmentation obtained is more accurate in recognizing customer behavior and loyalty. The results of test 3606 dataset through the preprocessing stage using these methods results in three groups of customers that is New Customers, Lost Customers and Core Customers adjust the Customer Loyalty Matrix LRF
Automation of Aquaponic Choy Sum and Nile Tilapia Using Arduino Microcontroller
This study aims to build an aquaponics automation tool to simplify the control of fish and vegetable cultivation. The objects that were taken in this study were nile tilapia and choy sum. In this study, testing was carried out in an aquarium and hydroponic pipe to control nutrition, water turbidity, light, pH, feed, and temperature. The main tools used to build this automation include Arduino ESP-32, GY-302 Ambient Light Intensity Sensor, DFRobot Gravity Analog pH Sensor, DS18B20 temperature sensor, 3-6V DC R140 DC motor, Relay Module6 Chanel 12V, RTC Module. DS130 and SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor. After the system testing process, it can be concluded that this tool can support the process of cultivating nile tilapia and choy sum properly and make it easier for farmers to monitor aquaponics
Applied Of Geofencing In Microcontroller With Linear Inequality Approach Of Two Variables
Geofencing merupakan suatu batas virtual yang mengelilingi sebuah area geografis. Area geografis terdiri-dari banyak titik yang mana nilai titik dapat diketahui dengan menggunakan perangkat GPS (Global Potisioning System). Sekarang ini perangkat GPS sudah ada yang berbentuk hanya modul GPS saja, sehingga bisa dikembangkan secara mandiri sesuai kebutuhan. Contoh dari modul tersebut adalah modul GPS GY-NEO6MV2 (Ublox NEO6MV2). Modul ini dapat berkomunikasi dengan mikrokontroler melalui komunikasi serial. Untuk itu penerapan geofencing ke mikrokontroler dapat dilakukan. Wilayah geofencing-nya berbentuk segitiga sembarang yang lokasinya di sekitar kampus Politeknik Negeri Medan, dimana pendekatan Pertidaksamaan Linear Dua Variabel digunakan dalam menentukan wilayah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (R&D). Total rata-rata penyimpangan titik ukur jika dibandingkan dengan GPS buatan pabrik adalah 6,455127033 meter. Dan sistem memberikan indikator OUT jika berada di luar wilayah geofencing dan indikator IN jika berada di dalam wilayah geofencing
Applied of Information Gain Algorithm for Culinary Recommendation System in Lhokseumawe
Information gain is an algorithm that can be used to rank datasets. This research applied the information gain algorithm to the culinary recommendation system in Lhokseumawe city. Lhokseumawe is one of the tourist destinations in the northen region of Aceh, due to its strategic location near the beach. Apart from the beach, culinary is the main choice of tourists when visiting Lhokseumawe city. The purpose of implementing this recommendation system is to make it easier for tourists to find the best culinary recommendations in Lhokseumawe city based on the value of the data ranking with the information gain algorithm. The results of this research shown that the highest rank of information gain values is 0.545715, 0.530769, and 0.497328, continuously. This value provided in the culinary recommendation system in Lhokseumawe city, namely Mie Ayah, Bakso Pim, and Bakso Pak De
Analysis of IT Governance COBIT 5.0 (Case Study: Ministry of Religious Affairs of Batam)
Indonesian Government has developed technology-based information systems in their respective environments as an effort to realize public services that meet standards and achieve citizen service satisfaction, and in line with that as the government's efforts to digitize each business process in the government itself. Ministry of Religious Affairs of Batam that has developed this technology-based information system in implementing activities public services at Sekupang office, KUA, and integrated service places. This study aims to analyze the IT governance that has been applied at Ministry of Religious Affairs of Batam in providing public services. This study uses COBIT 5.0 to analyze IT governance in understanding and finding common ground between the needs of Batam citizen and the strategic plan of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Batam, as well as how to evaluate and monitor IT governance in the actual conditions. This study uses two domains: Plan and Organize (PO) and Monitor and Evaluate (ME), based on the results of questionnaire data processing with 106 respondents, and the average value of the PO domain 3.8 and ME domain 3.9 shows that IT governance is at the Defined Process level. . Build Internet of Thing Based Sea Level Detection System
Tides can be defined as waves generated by the interaction between the earth, sun and moon. The peak of the wave is called the high tide (High Water/HW) and the tide is called low tide (Low Water/LW). The tidal period is the time between the crest or trough of a wave to the crest or tide of the next wave. The time of the tidal period varies from 12 hours 25 minutes to 24 hours 50 minutes. The results of preliminary observations to the desa nelayan in Kuala Langsa found that most of the outskirt fishermen and anglers always look for fish and other marine animals in high tide conditions. Nevertheless, they do not know for sure when the sea water will rise. They detect sea level rise using only a simple tool such as a stick attached to the river and from their house poles under the water. This condition can be detrimental to fishermen both time and economically. The author also began to think about how to create a detection tool that can provide accurate information on sea level conditions at any time to fishermen and anglers via smartphones. The author finally got the best idea, namely creating a "Sea Level Detection System in Kuala Langsa for Fishermen and Anglers Using NodeMCU and Internet of Thing (IoT) Based Waterlevel Sensors and Telegram Messenger. Expert System For Diagnose Covid19 Using Certainty Factor Method
AbstractAt the end of 2019 the world was shocked by the emergence of a new type of virus from the Corona family, namely the Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) which had never been previously identified in humans, later known as Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). Early symptoms in people with Covid-19 include fever, cough and shortness of breath, similar to flu and cough symptoms in general, making it difficult to detect early. The certainty factor method can measure a certainty and uncertain thing. Research with certainty factor methods has been carried out to diagnose a disease based on the symptoms experienced. Types of diseases are focused only on types of diseases with almost the same symptoms, namely Upper Respiratory Tract Infection, Pneumonia, and Covid-19. The purpose of this study is to build an expert system application that can be accessed online to detect early symptoms experienced by sufferers. Based on the results and discussion, the expert system application can run well and the results of manual CF calculations are the same as the results of CF calculations on the system
