    The Role of Entrepreneurial Marketing and Entrepreneurial Orientation in Improving SMEs Performance (Study on Kampung Tahu Kediri)

    This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial marketing and entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of small and medium-sized tofu producers in Kampung Tahu Kediri, considering the role of marketing strategy as a mediator and marketing capability as a moderator. The research population consisted of all SMEs that are members of the Paguyuban Tahu in Kampung Tahu Kediri, with a sample size of 43 respondents selected using saturated sampling. The PLS-SEM approach was used to evaluate primary data collected via surveys. The results indicate that entrepreneurial marketing has a positive and significant effect on marketing strategy and SME performance, while entrepreneurial orientation does not have a significant effect and tends to be negative on both; marketing strategy contributes positively and significantly to SME performance, but marketing capability does not have a significant effect or moderation in the relationship, and marketing strategy does not mediate the influence of entrepreneurial marketing and entrepreneurial orientation on SME performance. The novelty of this study lies in the strong direct impact of entrepreneurial marketing on the performance of tofu-processing SMEs in a local community context, while entrepreneurial orientation shows a negative tendency, providing new insights into the dynamics of entrepreneurial characteristics in traditional businesses. The implications of these findings emphasize the importance of focusing on product innovation and adaptive marketing strategies, as well as the need for government and supporting institutions to strengthen marketing capabilities and business sustainability of SME

    Determinant Factors of Job Satisfaction in Generation Z Informal Workers

    This study examines the effect of job autonomy, work-life balance, and work-social support on job satisfaction with work motivation as a mediator in informal workers of generation Z in Semarang. The sampling of this study used purposive sampling and data collection techniques with questionnaires for 235 informal workers belonging to Generation Z. Data analysis used Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of this study reveal that job autonomy and work-social support directly and indirectly affect job satisfaction, with work motivation as a mediator. Meanwhile, work-life balance and work motivation directly affect job satisfaction. Work-social support has the most significant effect on work motivation and job satisfaction. This study reveals the importance of building meaningful relationships in the work environment of Generation Z to create a harmonious balance

This study used a quantitative approach, as the method of data collected was survey and moderated regression analysis.     This study aims to examine the influence of tourism products, electronic word of mouth (eWOM), and physical evidence on the decision to visit Blitar Park Tourism. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, where data is obtained through a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents who visit Blitar Park Tourism. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS version 26 software to test the relationship between variables. The results of data analysis show that tourism products, electronic word of mouth, and physical evidence have a partial or simultaneous effect on the decision to visit Blitar Park tourism

    The Influence of Government Policy and Service Quality on the Competitive Advantage of MSMEs through Product Innovation

    This study aims to evaluate the influence of government policies and service quality on the competitive advantage of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the mediation role of product innovation in Kediri City. The study used a quantitative approach, collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 85 MSME actors who are members of the Indonesian Conveyance Entrepreneurs Association (IPHI) DPC Kediri City. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method to test the relationships among variables in the research model. The study\u27s results indicate that product innovation plays an important role in building MSMEs\u27 competitive advantage. Government policies and service quality affect product innovation, but neither shows a significant direct effect on competitive advantage. Product innovation has been shown to mediate the relationship between service quality and competitive advantage, whereas the mediation role in the relationship between government policies and competitive advantage remains limited. These findings indicate that product innovation is a strategic element that needs to be strengthened to enhance MSME competitiveness. Therefore, policy support and improving service quality need to be directed to encourage the creation of relevant and sustainable innovations in the MSME sector

    The Influence of Cooperation with Business Partners, Agricultural Technology Implementation, and Religiosity on the Welfare of Al-Mahdi Farmers in Percut Sei Tuan District

    This study aims to analyze the influence of business partnerships, agricultural technology adoption, and religiosity on farmers\u27 welfare. The research was conducted among members of the Al-Mahdi Farmer Group in Percut Sei Tuan District using a quantitative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 52 respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that jointly, the three independent variables have a significant effect on farmers\u27 welfare. Partially, the adoption of agricultural technology and religiosity have a positive and significant influence, while business partnerships do not have a significant impact. These findings indicate that improving farmers\u27 welfare is not solely determined by technical aspects or economic cooperation, but is also strongly influenced by spiritual values and local cultural norms within farming communities. This study implies that sustainable agricultural development must integrate both technological and spiritual approaches to support holistic farmer well-being

    This study aims to analyze the role of job satisfaction in mediating digital competence and innovation culture on employee performance in MSMEs in Sidoarjo Regency using a quantitative approach. The total sample in this study consisted of 389 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and processed using SmartPLS software to analyze the relationships between variables. The research findings indicate that digital competence influences job satisfaction. Innovation culture affects job satisfaction. Digital competence impacts employee performance. Innovation culture influences employee performance. Job satisfaction affects employee performance. Job satisfaction mediates the effect of digital competence on employee performance. Job satisfaction also mediates the effect of innovation culture on employee performance. The implications of this study suggest that MSMEs need to enhance digital competence and foster a strong innovation culture to drive job satisfaction, ultimately improving employee performance. These findings provide valuable insights for human resource managers in designing effective training programs and organizational development strategies. Additionally, the results can serve as a foundation for optimizing human resource management strategies to be more adaptive to changes in the business environment and technological advancements

    The Influence of Scarcity Promotion on Impulse Purchase Behavior:  A Mediation Analysis of Arousal

    Flash sales present an opportunity for online marketplaces to stimulate impulse purchases. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of scarcity promotion on impulse purchases, with arousal serving as a mediating variable. This research employs a quantitative approach. The sample consists of individuals who participated in a live streaming flash sale by Toko Emas Semar Nusantara on TikTok Shop on November 11, 2024. Data were collected using a Google Form distributed via messages to respondents who had made purchases during the live streaming flash sale. The data analysis was conducted using Jeffreys\u27s Amazing Statistics Program (JASP). The findings indicate that scarcity promotion has a positive and significant effect on arousal; arousal, in turn, has a positive and significant effect on impulse purchases. Additionally, scarcity promotion has a positive and significant influence on impulse purchases. Furthermore, arousal serves as a partial mediator between scarcity promotion and the tendency to make impulse purchases. The managerial implication of this study suggests that business owners should focus on scarcity-driven flash sales to stimulate consumer arousal, thereby enhancing impulse purchases. This study aims to provide business owners with insights into effective product marketing strategies on TikTok Shop, supporting increased sales.

    Optimizing Employee Performance and Performance Appraisal Through Job Satisfaction

    This study aims to analyze the effect of performance appraisal on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 161 private sector employees from three major districts in South Kalimantan Province. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that performance appraisal does not have a significant direct effect on employee performance but does significantly affect job satisfaction. Job satisfaction also has a significant impact on employee performance and mediates the relationship between performance appraisal and employee performance. These findings suggest that a well-designed performance appraisal system can enhance job satisfaction, which in turn positively influences employee performance. The practical implications of this study highlight the importance of organizations designing performance appraisal systems that not only assess but also develop employees. Theoretically, this study reinforces the understanding of the mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between performance appraisal and employee performance and contributes to the advancement of human resource management practices.

PO (Bus Company) Setiawan is a bus transportation service company that provides services for moving people/goods to another place using a motorized vehicle (KBBI, 2019). The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of leadership style and organizational culture on employee satisfaction and performance at PT. Karya Setiawan Ekatama.
