Quantification of sustainability as a welfare limit in social-ecological systems
Get PDFThe increasing burden exerted by human activities on natural capitals is expected to seriously jeopardize their stable functioning in the future. The situation urgently requires an operational measure of social-ecological resilience, in light of which the root cause of the instability of the institutional structure of our society could be quantitatively reexamined. By developing a version of Bayesian hierarchical modeling, this paper presents a dynamic and stochastic framework in which a stratified social structure basically determines the sustainability of ecological systems.Specifically, the framework is applied to coastal ecosystems that are trapped in their barren states, i.e., urchin barrens. In the application, using a hypothetical land-use model, the paper regards the social structure as a mathematical operator acting on probability distributions of slow parameters, and thus illustrates how the institutional dimension of society reveals itself in ecological systems.departmental bulletin pape

制度化された中間組織としての学校運営協議会の組織運営 : コミュニティ・スクールの地域連携教育活動に着目して
Get PDF中間組織が存続し続けるためには，どのような組織運営が必要なのか．本研究の目的は，制度化された中間組織としてのコミュニティ・スクールの学校運営協議会に着目し，組織メカニズムの特徴を解明することである．中間組織としての学校運営協議会制度は，学校と地域と保護者の三者をつなぐ会議体であり，組織運営が制度化されているモデルである．「目的」「統制」「方法」の3次元から学校運営協議会の特徴を検討した結果，異なる目標を持つステークホルダー間では共通目標設定のために「共育」という新たな用語を使用し，再調整が行われていた．制度上の統制の主体は教育委員会であったが，運営ではオブザーバーとして教育委員会関係者は参加し，会議体を損なわないサポートを行っていた．また，「協働・責任分担方式」によって当時者意識の醸成が行われていた．組織マネジメントにおいては，校長はサーバントリーダーシップを行うことで，三者連携の対話が行われていた．重層的な「連携カリキュラム」による相互作用は，地域の新たな相互見守りという相乗効果も生み出していた．departmental bulletin pape
日本語学習者に必要な感謝表現と感謝場面についての 語用論的指導 : 日本とスリランカの教科書における感謝に値する場面の会話分析を通して
Get PDFスリランカ人日本語学習者の感謝に値する場面についての理解及び感謝の言語表現についての使用は中間言語的なものであり、その原因の一つはスリランカで使用されている日本語の教科書にあると考えられる。そこで本研究では、スリランカで開発・出版され、高校生を対象としている教科書『スリランカ高校日本語A レベル サチニさんといっしょ』Part1と2から、日本語母語話者なら言語で感謝を表すだろうと考えられるが感謝表現が見られない会話場面を、①先行研究の指摘と参照、②日本で出版された教科書の類似した会話場面と比較、③日本語母語話者の意見の収集という3つの方法で分析した。分析の結果、教科書の改善に重要な点として、『サチニ』には、場面を理解するために必要不可欠な人間関係、場、状況設定などについての情報が不足していること、感謝を表す場面で見られる謝罪型表現の記載がないこと、感謝を課題として扱っていないことを明らかにした。departmental bulletin pape
幼少期の子どものモバイル端末利用と自己制御の関連 : インターネット調査と保育園調査による検討
Get PDF本研究の目的は，幼少期の子どものモバイル端末利用と自己制御の関連を検討することであった。研究1ではインターネット調査，研究2では保育園調査を実施した。自己制御を，気質的側面であり養育者により評定がなされるエフォートフル・コントロール（EC）と，認知的側面であり子どもへの課題の実施により測定される実行機能の2側面からとらえ，モバイル端末利用頻度や利用規則との相関係数を算出した。その結果，幼少期の子どものモバイル端末利用頻度は自己制御の低さと関連がある一方で，利用規則は自己制御の高さと関連していた。幼少期の子どものモバイル端末利用について，自己制御の観点からも長時間利用を避けることや利用規則を設けることの重要性が示唆された。
The purpose of this study was to examine whether mobile device use was associated with self-regulation in early childhood.Study 1 was an internet survey and Study 2 was a nursery school survey. Self-regulation was examined in two aspects:effortful control (EC), which is a temperamental aspect and evaluated by the caregiver, and executive function, which is a cognitive aspect and measured by performing tasks on children. We calculated the correlation coefficient between mobile device use and self-regulation. In our results, the frequency of mobile device use by children in early childhood was associated with low self-regulation, while usage rules were associated with high self-regulation. In other words, it was suggested that it is important to avoid long-term use and to establish rules for mobile device use among young children from the viewpoint of self-regulation.departmental bulletin pape
