The influence of drawer’s effort information and evaluator’s view of effort on the evaluation of abstract painting.
Get PDF本研究は，抽象画を用いて，努力をしたという条件を付与した場合と，努力をしなかったという条件を付与した場合で，絵に対する評価と印象が異なるかということを検討するものである。また，評価者の努力観によって，条件による評価と印象の差が異なるかについても検討した。結果は，努力をしたという条件を付与した場合に，条件がない場合と努力しなかった条件を付与した場合より有意に評価が高くなった。また同様に絵の印象も「好ましさ」「美しさ」「丁寧さ」において得点が高かった。努力観については，努力に対する信念の７つの因子のうち，「義務・当然」因子得点が低い人は条件の違いによる評価の違いがなかったが，高いものは努力条件による差があったことから，この因子の高さが努力条件の影響を受けることが示された。This study examines whether the evaluations and impressions of abstract paintings differ when the condition of effort is given and when the condition of no effort is given. We also examined whether the evaluations and impressions differed depending on the evaluator’s view of effort.The results showed that when the condition of effort was given, the evaluation was significantly higher than when the condition of no effort was given or when the condition of no effort was given. Similarly, the scores for “desirability,” “beauty,” and “carefulness” were also higher for the impression of the picture.Regarding the view of effort, among the seven factors of belief in effort, those with low scores on the “duty/necessity” factor did not differ in their evaluation depending on the condition of effort, while those with high scores on the “duty/necessity” factor did, indicating that the height of this factor was influenced by the condition of effort.departmental bulletin pape

Classification of Pneumonia in Chest X-ray Images using Support Vector Machine
Get PDFPneumonia is a prevalent respiratory infection that can be detected via chest X-ray (CXR) images. This study explores the effectiveness of a Support Vector Machine (SVM) model for classifying pneumonia cases using a publicly available pneumonia image dataset. With a focus on precision, our SVM model achieved a precision rate of approximately 71% on standard PC platform without a GPU.
