The Hidden Forces Behind Employee Citizenship Behavior: Kekuatan Tersembunyi di Balik Perilaku Kewarganegaraan Karyawan
This study aims to investigate the direct and indirect effects of perceived organizational support on work engagement and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). A sample of 60 employees from a clinical laboratory in East Java was examined using a quantitative approach with probability sampling. Data was collected through online questionnaires and analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The findings reveal that 1) perceived organizational support significantly influences work engagement, 2) work engagement has a significant positive impact on OCB, and 3) perceived organizational support directly affects OCB. Additionally, work engagement mediates the relationship between perceived organizational support and OCB. These results highlight the importance of fostering organizational support to enhance work engagement and citizenship behavior, providing practical insights for improving employee commitment and performance
Unraveling the Link between Financial Literacy and Financial Capability among Java's Students: Mengurai Hubungan antara Literasi Keuangan dan Kemampuan Finansial di Kalangan Pelajar di Jawa
This study aims to investigate the relationship between various dimensions of financial literacy, including financial behavior, attitude, knowledge, and capability, among university students in Java. The research encompassed the entire population of university students on Java island in 2022, totaling 3.5 million, with a final sample size of 173 respondents selected using the Slovin formula. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire survey, and multiple regression analysis was employed to assess the direct influence of financial literacy on financial capability using SPSS software version 25. The findings revealed a significant positive impact of financial behavior and attitude on the financial capability of college students. These results offer valuable insights for policymakers, highlighting the importance of comprehensive strategies in enhancing financial capability, particularly among university students, for improved financial well-being and preparedness
Effect of COVID-19 on the Performance of Sectoral Indices Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2020
This study aims to: (1) examine and analyze the impact of the pandemic on the development of the Capital Market JCI in Indonesia; (2) analyze the influence of the Covid-19 externality on the dynamics of the development of the Capital Market sectoral index in Indonesia. The research uses a case study method with a quantitative analysis approach using sectoral stock index history data with purposive sampling technique. The research population is 9 sectoral indices listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research period is November 2019-December 2020 which is analyzed using the Chartnexus analysis tool based on the performance of the stock sector index. The results of this study can be used as a reference for potential investors in choosing and investing in stocks that are included in sectoral indices whose market recovery is faster during the pandemic
The Pecking Order Theory Perspective in the Study of Company Capital Structure (Study On Manufacturing Companies On The Indonesia Stock Exchange)
A balanced combination of own capital and debt is the main key to optimal capital structure in a corporation. At any given time, the management team in the company will show you a targeted capital structure, which may be optimal, althought that target may change from time to time. Several factors influence the company’s capital structure decisions such as Profitability, Liquidity and Company Size. This study was used to measure the impact of profitability, liquidity and firm size on the capital structure of manufacturing companies on the Indonesian stock exchange for the period 2018-2021 using the pecking order theory method. The population used in this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sampling method used targeted sampling method and obtained his 40 samples from Indonesian Stock Exchange-listed manufacturing companies in the period 2018-2021. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS application. Simultaneously the results obtained from this study are the variables of Profitability, Liquidity and Company Size have a significant effect on Capital Structure
The Role of Regulatory Technology & Bankers to Prevent Money Laundering in Bank
Bank is a financial institution that is most often used as a place for money laundering, as well as the most financial institution that sends suspicious transaction reports to the Indonesian Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK). This study aims to illustrate the impact of adopting regulatory technology (regtech) and the role of AML officers in the Indonesian banking sector on money laundering prevention effectiveness. The primary data for this study was collected through a survey instrument distributed to 689 AML officers in Indonesia with the expertise in anti-money laundering (AML) compliance; there were 296 respondents that filled the questionnaire with a response rate of 42.9%. The results of multivariate analysis indicate that electronic know your customer (KYC) is not significant in money laundering prevention. Transactions monitoring (TM) of regtech and cost & time (CT) of regtech, drive money laundering prevention to a highly statistically positive & significant. Furthermore, there is a positive & significant relationship between bankers competency & awareness in money laundering prevention. Research related to regtech and AML officers in Indonesian banking sector money laundering prevention efforts is still very limited in Indonesia. This study contributes to the existing literature on anti-money laundering and the development of anti-money laundering technology
Maximizing Automated Teller Machines (ATM) User Loyalty through Trust and Quality Service: Memaksimalkan Loyalitas Pengguna Anjungan Tunai Mandiri (ATM) melalui Kepercayaan dan Layanan Berkualitas
The purpose of this research is to look into the direct and indirect effects of service quality and trust on customer loyalty, as mediated through customer satisfaction. The study is based on a sample of 85 customers who used ATM services at the PT. Bank 9 Jambi, Kerinci Branch. This Study approach is used to calculate sample size, and data is collected utilizing an incidental sampling strategy using a questionnaire. For data analysis, Smart PLS 3.0 software is used to assist path analysis. According to the findings, neither service quality nor trust have a statistically significant influence on customer loyalty, whether directly or indirectly through customer pleasure. Customer pleasure, on the other hand, has a positive and considerable impact on customer loyalty. Furthermore, the study discovers a favorable and significant link between service quality and client trust. These findings provide light on the complex dynamics of service quality, trust, customer satisfaction, and loyalty in the context of ATM usage, providing valuable insights for customer relationship management practitioners and researchers
The Identity of Loyalty To The Surabaya Hero Museum In East Java
This research is to look for the influence of loyalty identity in the form of perceived value, experience quality and patriotism in museums that have historical value in Surabaya, East Java. The number of respondents was 160 respondents where respondents before visiting the museum had obtained information through social media. The results of data processing show that all the influence tests are said to be significant, both direct and indirect influence tests. The existence of significant influence test results can be stated that the predictor variable of loyalty can be a good antecedent because it is important to be input for the tourism industry which focuses on historical museums, so that managerial implications can help how to manage and provide satisfaction to visitors so that visitors besides feel the good atmosphere, also get the experience and desire to revisit
Exploring the Link between Trust and Perceived Benefits in Online Purchasing during COVID-19
This study investigates the impact of perceived benefits on online consumer purchasing decisions during the COVID-19 pandemic in Surabaya, Indonesia. The study examines the role of social media as a tool for marketers to support product sales during the pandemic, which aligns with government regulations to limit community activities that cause crowds. The study uses trust as an intervention variable to analyze the direct and indirect impacts of perceived benefits on purchasing decisions. The research is conducted using a purposive sampling method, and data from 100 online consumers in Surabaya is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that perceived benefits have a direct and significant impact on trust, perceived benefits have a direct and significant impact on purchasing decisions, trust directly influences purchasing decisions, and perceived benefits have a significant direct impact on consumer online purchasing decisions with trust acting as an intervening variable. The study provides valuable insights for marketers in utilizing social media to support product sales during a pandemic and highlights the importance of trust in online purchasing decisions
Driving Prosperity: Assessing Empowerment, MSME Performance and Welfare: Mendorong Kesejahteraan: Menilai Pemberdayaan, Kinerja dan Kesejahteraan UMKM
Micro, small, and medium-sized companies (MSMEs) play a critical role in improving societal well-being. However, empowering programs are critical to the success of MSME practitioners. Despite considerable initiatives in Banda Aceh to empower MSMEs, the direct impact on practitioner welfare remains unknown. The purpose of this quantitative study is to investigate the impact of empowerment effectiveness and MSME performance on practitioner wellbeing in Banda Aceh. The study includes 9691 MSMEs, based on data from the MSME Office of Cooperatives and MSME Aceh, and using random sample methodologies. A Likert scale was used for measurement. The data show that, while empowerment has a moderate impact on MSME welfare, MSME performance has a strong and meaningful influence. Furthermore, empowerment effectiveness and MSME success, when combined, contribute significantly to the welfare of MSME practitioners in Banda Aceh, accounting for 31.014% of the variance. This study emphasizes the necessity of not only empowering MSMEs but also improving their performance in order to significantly boost practitioner welfar
Business Performance Boosted: The Role of Entrepreneurial Characteristics and Startup Strategies in Bangka Belitung Islands Province
This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial characteristics and startup strategies in improving business performance in Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Data collection in this study was conducted by survey method with in-depth interviews and questionnaires, providing a list of questions and statements to the 100 respondents, in this case, Startup Business in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The data analysis technique used the SEM Moderating approach with SmartPLS (Partial Least Square). The results indicate that Entrepreneurial characteristics positively influence improving business performance in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The startup strategy has a positive effect on improving business performance in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
