    Analysis of students’ mathematical representation based on levels of mathematical ability

    Mathematical representation is a fundamental skill in mathematics learning, allowing students to express and solve problems through symbolic, verbal, and visual forms. However, students\u27 varying levels of mathematical ability can significantly influence the quality of their representational skills. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method involving three eighth-grade students from SMPN 2 Kasimbar, selected based on their mathematical abilities: high, medium, and low. Data were collected through tests and semi-structured interviews, and analyzed using data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results indicated that high-ability students could construct and solve systems of linear equations in two variables, although they exhibited some difficulty in interpreting variables accurately. Medium-ability students demonstrated proficiency in formulating equations and performing calculations, with particular strength in verbal and visual representations. In contrast, low-ability students struggled with algebraic operations, often misused variables, and were unable to generate appropriate graphical representations. These findings highlight the significant role of mathematical ability in shaping students’ representation skills and underscore the need for teachers to implement more adaptive and differentiated instructional strategies

    This thesis is entitled “Analysis of Deixis as Found in the Song Die With A Smile Bruno Mars Feat Lady Gagaâ€. In this research, the object used is the lyrics of Die With A Smile Bruno Mars Feat Lady Gaga. The purpose of this research is to find out the use of deixis found in the song Die With A Smile Bruno Mars feat Lady Gaga. This research is organized using a descriptive qualitative method. The result of this research can be concluded that, based on the data that has been presented, the use of deixis in the lyrics of Die With A Smile has successfully fulfilled its function and purpose as a whole. The researcher shows that the deixis not only strengthens cohesion and coherence in the text but also plays a vital role in conveying messages in a more precise and more structured way. With the right choice of words, the deixis in this song facilitates understanding for the listener or reader and enriches the meaning contained in the lyrics

    ANALYSIS OF THE DIFFICULTY OF FIFTH-SEMESTER MIDWIFERY STUDENTS IN LEARNING ENGLISH

    This research aims to discuss the difficulties faced by fifth-semester students of the midwifery study program at Pasir Pengaraian University in learning English. The method used is qualitative descriptive research, which involves data collection through questionnaires and interviews with students. The research results show that 54,2% of students have difficulty understanding pronunciation in English, and 41,7% often make mistakes when translating sentences from English to Indonesian. In addition, 70.8% of students admitted that they did not understand the homonym difference, and 50% had Difficulty writing correctly. This research highlights the importance of teaching English that focuses on translation skills and contextual understanding to improve students\u27 communication skills. Thus, this research provides valuable insight into developing English courses in the midwifery study program

    Perubahan fisik yang terjadi kadang memberikan ketidaknyamanan bagi ibu hamil. Salah satunya adalah nyeri pinggang dan punggung bagian bawah biasanya terjadi pada ibu hamil Trimester III. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas senam hamil terhadap penurunan nyeri punggung pada ibu hamil trimester III. Beberapa data based digunakan sebagai pencariaan secara elektronik antara lain PubMed dan Google Scholar dari tahun 2020 sampai tahun 2025. Keyword yang digunakan adalah senam hamil, nyeri punggung, ibu hamil, kehamilan trimester III. Berdasarkan hasil analisis 10 jurnal yang didapatkan yaitu senam hamil terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi nyeri punggung pada ibu hamil trimester III. Latihan ini membantu meningkatkan fleksibilitas, memperkuat otot-otot inti dan punggung, serta memperbaiki postur tubuh, yang secara keseluruhan mengurangi tekanan pada tulang belakang

      Kekurangan Energi Kronis (KEK) pada ibu hamil merupakan masalah yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya asupan gizi dalam jangkan waktu panjang, sehingga dapat mengakibatkan berbagai masalah kesehatan bagi ibu hamil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan asupan gizi ibu hamil dan pendapatan dengan kejadian kurang energi kronik ibu hamil di Puskesmas Buleleng II tahun 2025 yang menggunakan desain analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mencakup seluruh ibu hamil yang terdaftar di Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah Puskesmas Buleleng II pada Bulan Februari tahun 2025 dimana sampel diambil melalui metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan program komputer SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan asupan gizi ibu hamil dengan kejadian KEK (p: 0.905), namun terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pendapatan ibu hamil dengan kejadian KEK (p: 0.022). Simpulannya, pengetahuan asupan gizi ibu hamil tidak berhubungan dengan kejadian kurang energi kronik, sedangkan pendapatan ibu hamil memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kejadian kurang energi kronik di Puskesmas Buleleng II

    The effect of the guided inquiry model on students’ mathematics learning outcomes based on creativity levels

    Student achievement in mathematics in Indonesia remains relatively low, highlighting the need for learning models that can foster engagement and deeper understanding. This study investigates the effect of the Guided Inquiry learning model on mathematics achievement by considering the role of student creativity. A quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group was employed. The population consisted of all Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Kedawung in the 2024/2025 academic year. Using random sampling, class VIIB was assigned as the experimental group and class VIIE as the control group. Data were collected through tests and questionnaires, and analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and two-way ANOVA with unequal cells. Balance between groups was established using students’ odd-semester final examination scores prior to treatment. The findings revealed that: (1) the Guided Inquiry model was more effective than conventional instruction in improving mathematics achievement, (2) student creativity significantly influenced mathematics achievement, and (3) there was no interaction effect between the Guided Inquiry model and student creativity. These results suggest that the Guided Inquiry model can effectively improve students’ mathematics achievement, while creativity contributes independently to learning outcomes

    The effectiveness of the amazing geometry AR application for solid geometry learning

    Learning mathematics, particularly in the area of solid geometry, is often perceived as difficult by elementary school students, which highlights the need for appropriate learning media to support their understanding. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of learning media based on the Amazing Geometry Augmented Reality application in introducing solid geometry concepts to students. The research employed a pre-experimental design using a one-group pre-test and post-test. The population and sample consisted of all fifth-grade students at SDN Margodadi, totaling 11 students, selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected using essay tests that had undergone content and empirical validation, as well as reliability testing. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics, a normality test, and a paired sample t-test using IBM SPSS 26. The results showed that the average post-test score was higher than the pre-test score. The paired sample t-test indicated a t-count value of 15.486, which was greater than the t-table value of 1.812, with a significance level (2-tailed) of less than 0.05. These findings demonstrate that the use of the Amazing Geometry Augmented Reality application has a significant positive impact on students’ understanding of solid geometry. Overall, this study suggests that integrating augmented reality into mathematics instruction can enhance the learning process, particularly in the introduction of spatial concepts, and offers valuable implications for the broader use of technology in elementary mathematics education

    A systematic literature review: Self-efficacy toward mathematical reasoning ability

    This study is a systematic literature review aimed at describing various research findings related to students’ mathematical reasoning ability in relation to their self-efficacy levels. The method used is a systematic literature review by applying the keywords self-efficacy and reasoning ability, along with predefined inclusion criteria to select relevant articles. Articles that met the inclusion criteria were then analyzed qualitatively to draw valid and accountable conclusions. The results of the analysis reveal inconsistencies across studies regarding the influence of self-efficacy on students’ mathematical reasoning ability. Differences were also found in how varying levels of self-efficacy affect students’ performance in solving mathematical reasoning tasks. These discrepancies may stem from several factors, including sample limitations, differences in methodological approaches, the theoretical frameworks adopted, and variations in contextual field conditions. Therefore, further research is needed that involves more diverse variables and employs more comprehensive methodological designs to gain a more consistent and holistic understanding of the relationship between self-efficacy and students’ mathematical reasoning ability

    Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan jiwa wirausaha sejak dini melalui pelatihan ekonomi kreatif bagi anak-anak di Dusun Monto, Desa Kuripan, Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Melalui pendekatan edukatif partisipatif, peserta tidak hanya mempelajari keterampilan teknis pembuatan gelang manik-manik, tetapi juga memahami konsep dasar ekonomi kreatif, literasi keuangan sederhana, serta strategi pemasaran digital melalui media sosial. Program dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan utama, yaitu perencanaan, penyampaian materi dan pelatihan praktik, serta evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu menghasilkan produk dengan desain yang bervariasi dan menarik, memiliki kepercayaan diri yang lebih tinggi, serta minat yang kuat untuk berwirausaha. Program ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemberdayaan generasi muda di Dusun Monto dan menjadi fondasi penting bagi pengembangan ekonomi kreatif masyarakat secara berkelanjutan

    Penambangan pasir ilegal di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu menimbulkan kerugian negara dan dampak lingkungan serius, terutama pada daerah aliran sungai dan lahan pertanian. Meskipun upaya penertiban telah dilakukan, aktivitas ini masih marak karena lemahnya koordinasi antarlembaga, keterbatasan sumber daya aparat, pengaruh kepentingan politik dan ekonomi lokal, serta keterlibatan masyarakat akibat alasan ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis empiris dengan data primer dari wawancara dan data sekunder dari jurnal, peraturan perundang-undangan, serta sumber daring. Analisis dilakukan melalui kajian kepustakaan dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hambatan penegakan hukum meliputi ketidaktegasan sanksi administratif dan pidana, lemahnya political will, serta inkonsistensi aparat di lapangan. Dari perspektif normatif, asas lex superior derogat legi inferiori dan lex specialis derogat legi generali seharusnya menegaskan UU Minerba sebagai hukum khusus yang efektif untuk menertibkan pertambangan ilegal, namun implementasinya terhambat. Solusi yang ditawarkan meliputi penguatan kelembagaan aparat, penegasan kewenangan pusat-daerah sesuai UU No. 23 Tahun 2014, integrasi penegakan hukum kepolisian–kejaksaan–pengadilan, serta penerapan pendekatan represif dan preventif. Diperlukan pula regulasi turunan yang responsif terhadap kondisi lokal dan harmonisasi norma pusat-daerah agar tidak terjadi tumpang tindih hukum. Edukasi hukum berbasis komunitas penting untuk membangun budaya hukum masyarakat yang mendukung pemberantasan pertambangan ilegal
