IDENTIFICATION AND INVENTORY OF CASSAVA (Manihot esculenta Crantz) IN NORTH SUMATERA
The study of identification and inventory of cassava accessions was done from August to September 2014 in four districts based on their potential as a center for cassava cultivation, namely Simalungun, Serdang Bedagai, Deli Serdang, Langkat Regency representing the lowlands and Simalungun and Karo Regency representing the highlands. Each district was selected 3 subdistricts and each subdistrict was surveyed 3 villages randomly through the accidental sampling method. Guidance on identifying morphological characters was used by reference from Fukuda, et al. (2010) by giving a score for each character observed. The results of the study obtained 8 genotypes with their respective codes and local names; 1) Sawit (G1), 2) Lampung (G2), 3) Merah (G3), 4) Adira-1 (G4), 5) Kalimantan (G5), 6) Malaysia (G6), 7) Roti (G7) and 8) Klanting (G8). The most common genotype found in the location were Malaysia and Adira-1, while the rarest was Merah. The yield potential at the age of 10 months were Sawit (26,9–30,1 tons/ha), Lampung (29,6–52,6 tons/ha), Merah (54–61,6tons/ha), Adira-1 (34,8–55,0 tons/ha), Kalimantan (15,8–64,2 tons/ha), Malaysia (32,9–64,3 tons/ha), , Roti (24,7–55,5 tons/ha), and Klanting (327,4–49,8 tons/ha)
PENGARUH PEMBERIAN EKSTRAK DAUN ANDALIMAN (Zanthoxylum acanthopodium DC.) TERHADAP HISTOLOGIS OVARIUM MENCIT (Mus musculus L.)
Research the effect of andaliman leaf extract on mice ovaries, volume test material using oral gavage needles as much 0.1 ml / 10 g bb 4 days before and after estrus stage and using RAL non-factorial method consisting of control and treatment group. Treatment consisted of factor test material with dose 2500, 5000, 10000, 20000, 40000 ppm. Chemical content of andaliman leaf extract shown from results study are alkaloids, steroids and saponins. Giving treatment of andaliman leaf extract for 9 days on histological data in the number primary, secondary, De Graff, and atretic follicles experienced fluctuating changes, but statistically did not show a significant difference between treatment and control mice groups, while different results were significantly shown in the number of corpus luteum. Parameters diameter of primary follicles, De Graff, and corpus luteum tended to experience changes that fluctuated, but statistically did not show the difference between the treatment and control mice groups, while the diameter of secondary and atretic follicles showed significantly different results. From the results study, administration of andaliman leaf extract affects histological mice ovaries, because it affects oogenesis and ovulation, but fluctuates, possibly due to crude extract, which has not isolated chemical content
REDUCING SUGAR CONTENT IN SIWALAN ROOMIE (Borassus flabellifer L) BEFORE COOKING AND LIQUID BROWN SUGAR AFTER COOKING
Sugar reduction is one of the essential macronutrients used as energy sources. High levels of sugar reduction in food can increase the sweet taste of these foodstuffs. However, the consumption of high sugar food can cause diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this study is to increase the economic value of liquid palm sugar (Borassus flabellifer L) and opportunities as a preservative in the food industry. This research used quantitative descriptive methods. The results showed that the level of sugar reduction in siwalan liquid brown sugar (Borassus flabellifer L) was 15.65%, the water content in the liquid palm sugar sample (Borassus flabellifer L) is 26.78%, and the temperature of the liquid brown sugar after cooking is 230C. The effect of heat or temperature on cooking also causes physical changes in liquid brown sugar such as caramel formation, color and flavour
MAPPING OF CONSERVATION AREA PLAN IN NORTH POLOMBANGKENG DISTRICT, TAKALAR REGENCY
North Polombangkeng District is one of the districts in Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi, where 44% of the total land area of 9495 ha out of 21225 ha are steeply sloped areas. Therefore we need a policy direction on the arrangement of the use of conservation areas to support the sustainability of the existing environment in the form of mapping conservation area plans. This study uses a soil survey method and evaluation of land capability. Physical Factors the environment is a limiting factor in determining land use policy, namely slope factors, soil sensitivity to erosion, and rainfall intensity. The research shows that Barugayya Village, Towata Village, and Kampung Baru Village are included in class IV land grade classification and Ko'mara Village in Class VI. At the same time, the Scoring Assessment of Physical Environmental Factors in Forest Areas has a range of values ranging from 160 to 215, the area of which is planned to be a conservation area. Determination of Conservation Area refers to the function criteria of forest area based on the scoring System of the Minister of Agriculture Regulation in Minister of Agriculture Decree No. 837/Kits/Um/11/80
ECOTOURISM DEVELOPMENT OF MUNJANG MANGROVE FOREST AND CONSERVATION EFFORTS BASED ON COMMUNITY APPROACH
Ecotourism development in a mangrove forest area includes many positive and negative aspects and requires a sustainablecomprehensive study. Ecotourism potential must be assessed to provide understanding of local people in managing natural resources. This study aims at identifying the potential for the development of ecotourism and determining the efforts of conservation strategies for supporting mangrove forests. Data collection was done by questionnaires and interviews using 1-5 Likert scale measurement and SWOT analysis to determine ecotourism development strategies. The results of the study indicates that Munjang mangrove forest has a very good potential to be developed as an ecotourism area. It is supported by the efforts of conservation as the main key in realizing the development of sustainable ecotourism. The role of the community and stakeholders has been well established such as mangrove seeding and nursery activities. Finally, this study recognizes that the capacity of sustainability indicators is very important to map the transformation and constant challenges of supporting mangrove ecotourism, so that it can provide conservation benefits, provide quality services for visitors and improve local communities welfare
THE FLAVONOID AND ALKALOID CONTENT OF CYCLOSORUS PARASITICUS (LINN.) FARWELL FERNS AT THE PLANTATION AREAS OF JEMBER REGENCY
Cyclosorusparasiticus(Linn.) Farwell is one potential medicinal ferns. The plant contains secondary metabolites, such as flavonoids and alkaloids. This study aims to determine the flavonoid and alkanoidofCyclosorusparasiticus (Linn.) Farwell in three plantation areas of Jember Regency. Plant samples were collected from Mount Gumitir coffee plantations, Pine Garahan Village and rubber and cocoa plantations in Tancak in Jember. Samples of stems and leaves were dried at room temperature and then blended to obtain a powder. One gram of powder samples was macerated in 90 ml of methanol for 3x24 hours then was concentrated with an evaporator to obtain a crude extract. The crude extract was tested qualitatively for flavonoids and alkaloids by the Willstätter and Dragendorff methods followed by quantitatively tests with Spectrophotometric. The results showed thatboth flavonoids and alkaloids were found in stem and leavesof Cyclosorusparasiticus (Linn) Farwell growing at three research locations. The flavonoids and alkaloidsin content found in leaveswas higher than those in stem organs. The leaves of Cyclosorusparasiticus (Linn) Farwell in Gumitir contain the highest flavonoids and alkaloidscontentsthan those in Tancak
IDENTIFICATION OF SECONDARY METABOLIC AND TEST OF ACTIVITY ETHYL ACETATE FRACTION OF BANGUN¬- BANGUN (Coleus amboinicus Lour.) LEAVES AS ANTIOXIDANT
Antioxidants have an important role in delaying the oxidation process and preventing the occurrence of degenerative diseases in the body. Antioxidants consist of synthetic and natural; the use of synthetic antioxidants in a relatively long period is hazardous so that the use of natural antioxidants is considered more potential and safe for the body. The process of extracting secondary metabolites from the leaves of bangun-bangun (Coleus amboinicus L.) is carried out by the maceration method with methanol, then partitioned in stages with n-hexane, chloroform, and ethyl acetate. This research intends to identify secondary metabolites and test antioxidant activity from the ethyl acetate fraction with the DPPH method. Phytochemical screening results of ethyl acetate fraction showed the different secondary metabolite groups such as alkaloids, phenolics & polyphenols, flavonoids, coumarin, and triterpenoids. Antioxidant activity (IC50) obtained is 64.97 with a healthy category, so that the potential to be used as a natural antioxidant
PERSEPSI WANITA USIA SUBUR TENTANG INSPEKSI VISUAL ASAM ASETAT (IVA)UNTUK DETEKSI DINI KANKER SERVIKS
Cervical cancer is the second major cancer, after breast cancer, for childbearing age women. The are many new cases of cervical cancer in which 50% resulted in the patient death. Cervical cancer can be cured if detected quickly. IVA is a simple method that is able to be used for early detection in “Puskesmasâ€, relatively fast and accurate. The objectives of this study was to determine the perception of childbearing age women towards IVA for early detection of cervical cancer in “ Kelurahan Helvetia Tengah, Kecamatan Medan Helvetia. This research used qualitative design based on case study approach. There were 11 people samples (10 women of childbearing age and 1 person, a Helvetia health center employee. The results showed that the fertile women in Helvetia village had a positive perception about IVA for early detection of cervical cancer. However, they were reluctant to check IVA because afraid of the diseases. The conclusion is that clear information of IVA and cervical cancer is very important thing that should be understood by the childbearing age women

Butterfly is the insect that the existence is determined by the ability of their distribution and adaptation towards the environmental factor. The decrease of the plant species diversity in a habitat will affect the diversity of the butterfly species. One of the buterflies habitat which experinces the degradation of species diversity is Resort Bandealit which some parts of the region are designated as the habitat of Invasive plants. The aim of this study is to know the composition and diversity of butterfly species in the pringtali Savannah Resort Bandealit Meru Betiri national park. The method used in the data collection is the road sampling method. The road sampling method is done by walking and counting spesimen which were collect by active collection. Exploration is carried out by walking along the five cruise lines with a length of each path is 100 m in Savana Pringtali Meru Betiri National Park. The composition and diversity species of butterfly is a 11 species represented from 3 family and 10 genus. The four most common species of butterflies found in the study area are Jamides pura, Ypthima Philomela, Leptosia nina, and Eurema hecabe
GAMBARAN BUDAYA KESELAMATAN PASIEN BERDASARKAN METODE AHRQ PADA PEGAWAI RS. ANNA MEDIKA KOTA BEKASI TAHUN 2018
This reseach describe the characteristics of patient safety culture with AHRQ method at Anna Medika Hospital Bekasi in 2018. This research was conducted using cross sectional and AHRQ method with 12 dimensions measurement based on Hospital Survey of Patient Safety Culture questionnaire (HSPSC) and assessed the percentage of positive responses from each dimension so as to produce good, medium and less categories. The results of the study mention the description of patient safety culture based on the AHRQ method for hospital employees of Anna Medika Kota Bekasi in 2018 is 71.97%. This data is obtained from the average value of positive response to expectations and actions of superiors in promoting patient safety by 86.79%, positive response to organization learning continuous improvement by 99.79%, positive response to cooperation in units in hospitals by 98,33%, positive response to open communication by 93.14%, positive response to feedback and communication about errors 93.33%, positive response to responses not to blame at 62.42%. Positive response to staffing was 40.29%, positive response to management support for patient safety efforts was 52.40%, positive response to cooperation between units was 60.75%, positive response to shifting shifts and patient transfer was 77.27%, a positive response to the overall perception of patient safety is 79.54%, and a positive response to the frequency of reporting of events is 25.85%
