    No full text
============================================================================================================================================= Large Language Models (LLMs) are artificial intelligence technologies with promising future prospects for research. LLMs are beneficial in processing textbased information, including tasks such as Question Answering (QA). Currently, LLMs are also being developed for low-resource languages such as Bahasa Indonesia. QA can be divided into Open-Domain Question Answering (ODQA) and Domain-Specific Question Answering (DSQA). However, several challenges arise in their implementation, such as fine-tuning and hallucination. The fine-tuning process requires substantial resources and computational power. On the other hand, hallucination indicates that LLM outputs may be inaccurate and irrelevant. This study proposes the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) approach to address these challenges in LLM implementation. It also integrates RAG with the Synergizing Reasoning and Acting (ReAct) method, which can assist the model in reasoning tasks. The study employs elements of the low-resource language Bahasa Indonesia in both the dataset and the LLMs used. To optimize the retriever component, hyperparameter tuning is performed. The grid search method is used to determine the optimal values for chunk size and chunk overlap in the context windowing process. Dense Passage Retriever, All-MPNet-Base-v2, and BM25 are utilized as retriever components. On the generative side, comparisons are made between LLMs fine-tuned in Bahasa Indonesia and their respective base models. The results of the study indicate that the configuration of Gemma-2-9B LLM, BM25 retriever, and ReAct yields the best performance for both simple and complex ODQA datasets, as well as the COVID-19 DSQA dataset. In many scenarios, the BM25 retriever helps provide the most relevant context based on evaluation metrics. ReAct enhances the reasoning ability of models in the Gemma-2-9B family when generating answers. Experiments also demonstrate that base models outperform Indonesian fine-tuned LLMs such as SahabatAI-Gemma-2-9B and SahabatAI-Llama-3-8B in answering questions

Native advertising is often difficult to identify because it closely resembles ordinary news articles. One key indicator is the absence of information sources or the use of only a single perspective. Therefore, a model capable of extracting information sources from news articles such as Named Entity Recognition (NER). While NER can extract information sources, it still struggles to recognize identical entities written in various forms, such as aliases, abbreviations, or typographical errors. This study proposed a unique information source extraction method by integrating NER with the XLNet+BiLSTM+CRF architecture and identical entity classification using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The integration process begins with extracting information sources using NER and then classifying pairs of extracted entities to determine whether they are identical. This classification leverages several features, including string similarity, word segmentation, and semantic and contextual similarity. The identical entity classification results are then used to cluster the unique information sources. The proposed model proved effective in extracting unique information sources. Testing showed that using NER alone produced 3,029 information source entities, but after identical entity classification, this number was reduced to 1,082, which closely matches the ground truth of 1,137. The NER architecture based on XLNet+BiLSTM+CRF achieved an F1-score of 92.84% for information source extraction, surpassing the BERT Linear baseline (91.74%). The F1-score for identical entity identification also reached 92.84%, outperforming the single-feature XLNet model (89%). The integration of both models resulted in an average unique information source coverage of 97.40%. These results indicate that the proposed model is highly promising as an additional feature for native advertising detection, thereby enhancing media transparency and reader protection

========================================================== ===================================================================== Geomorphology is the study of landforms on the earth's surface, both on land and at sea. Studies and research on geomorphology in the scope of the coastline are currently more focused on the marine environment aspect and less in depth on the coastline aspect. The existence of a resort on the coast will be able to change the order of the dynamics of the coastal area. The main impact of the construction of a coastal resort is erosion and accretion. Initially, the construction of a sea wall in the coastal area of the resort was intended to prevent erosion that occurred on the coast, but the opposite happened. After the construction of the sea wall, the coastline became unstable and tended to erode. The construction of a hexareef in the following year was able to make the coastline stable again. However, not long after the hexareef was damaged and the coastline became unstable again. This can disrupt the natural balance of the coastal ecosystem and threaten the sustainability of the coastal area. To follow up on the construction of a coastal building, a hydrographic survey is needed to determine the morphological conditions of the beach. An engineer is needed to conduct the survey because it will always refer to the methods and ethics of engineers who uphold professionalism and Occupational Safety and Health (K3L) in the project environment. The method of analyzing shoreline changes uses digital shoreline analysis system (DSAS) software which will use Sentinel 2 data. The satellite imagery will be tied using tidal data in the area. From the results of data processing, the type of ebb and flow tends to be double which ndicates that there will be high and low tides 2 times in 1 day. In addition, there has been a loss of land of 0.1547 ha while the addition of land is 0.0574 ha. . The average change in the shoreline before and after abrasion is 14 meters backward while for accretion it is 13 meters forward from the previous shoreline. The maximum change is 74 meters for maximum abrasion while 156 meters forward for accretion. This is important to know in order to determine the shipping route to the resort port. In the data acquisition process, an engineer implements the engineer's code of ethics and upholds K3L

======================================================================================================================== Biofouling on submerged structures poses a major challenge in the maritime sector, while the use of chemical-based antifouling paints triggers toxic impacts on marine ecosystems, thereby driving the development of environmentally friendly bio-antifouling paint alternatives. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of mangrove tannin-based bio-antifouling paint (Bio-Antifouling) compared to copper oxide-based paint (Antifouling Kimiawi ) and an uncoated control in inhibiting biofouling colonization on wooden test panels in the waters of Gili Noko, Gresik Regency, East Java. The research employed a descriptive-qualitative approach, where wooden panels were immersed statically at a depth of three meters for six months to allow natural colonization succession without artificial flow influences, thus reflecting tropical marine ecological conditions representatively. Data collected included the percentage of biofouling coverage area measured using ImageJ software, morphological species identification, and community structure analysis through calculations of density, evenness, and dominance indices. One-way ANOVA was conducted to assess significant differences among treatments. The results showed a highly significant difference (p<0.001), with Antifouling Chemical xhibiting the lowest mean biofouling coverage (48.56%), followed by the uncoated control (83.77%), and the highest on Bio-Antifouling (90.20%). Species identification revealed that Antifouling Chemical only supported colonization by small pioneer organisms such as Leucothoe sp. and Capitella sp., while Bio-Antifouling was colonized by large-shelled macrofoulers such as Pinctada imbricata, similar to the control panel dominated by Modiolus modulaides. The extensive fouling observed on Lanata-coated plates was not solely attributed to the ineffectiveness of tannin compounds, but likely influenced by non-chemical surface factors such as rough texture and darker coloration. A rougher surface provides greater micro-areas for attachment, while darker colors absorb more heat, creating favorable conditions for larval settlement and microbial metabolism. Thus, this study highlights that antifouling effectiveness is influenced not only by biocidal composition but also by physical surface characteristics. These findings provide valuable insight for developing environmentally friendly antifouling technologies with both chemical efficacy and unfavorable surface properties for fouling organisms

Rancang Bangun Sistem Pengukuran Dimensi Kendaraan Sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Over Dimension Berbasis Sensor Radar

============================================================== Goods transport vehicles in Indonesia often suffer from Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) violations, causing damage to infrastructure, the environment and accidents. Although the Ministry of Transportation has implemented a Zero ODOL programme through the monitoring of weighbridges, this approach is considered ineffective because it only measures the weight of the vehicle load without considering the dimensions of the vehicle. Manual measurement is also considered less effective because it takes more time and requires more human resources. Some previous studies have used technologies such as LiDAR, infrared sensors, and sensor fusion for dimensional measurement, but there are still some obstacles such as high costs, algorithm complexity, and limitations in measuring certain dimensions. Therefore, this final project proposes ‘Design of a Vehicle Dimension Measurement System as an Effort to Prevent Over Dimension Based on Radar Sensor’. In this research, radar sensors, proximity sensors, distance sensors, and ultrasonic sensors are used to measure vehicle dimensions. The use of many sensors was chosen to avoid the use of large costs, as well as complicated system algorithms. Based on the research results, the system is able to measure vehicle dimensions without making the vehicle stop and display the results in the interface with an average reading accuracy of 95.32% length, 97.5% width, and 97.74% height. With sensor reading accuracy above 95%, it can be said that the system is able to take accurate measurement

Memorial "Ground Zero": Manifestasi Arsitektur Horor sebagai Perlawanan terhadap Senjata Nuklir

    No full text
================================================================================================================================= Referring to Joshua Camaroff’s “Horror in Architecture,” this design reinterprets architecture as an emotional medium that violates formal conventions, using ambiguous boundaries, spatial disorientation, gloomy atmospheres, and a sense of entrapment to trigger existential reflection. The Ground Zero Memorial uses the history of the Trinity nuclear test, an unprecedented moment, as a profound spatial narrative to stop nuclear weapons forever. Horror films are one of Camaroff’s strong propositions in exploring monstrosity, deviance, and the uncanny, which are reflected in the built environment. Using the syntax of films, the design method deliberately created with cinematic horror in mind, according to the criteria of horror mapping, which draws inspiration from Trojan horses and subterranean architecture, particularly in the context of nuclear themes. The relationship between cinematic horror and horror in architecture seeks to deepen our understanding of how disturbing qualities manifest in physical space. The design result was seen through: (1) repeated mass buildup that creates an artificial hill that appears ambiguous as if it is sinking (2) a descending curved circulation that takes visitors through narrow crater corridors of varying heights (3) underground spaces covered with raw concrete and a layer of spots to depict decline; and (4) a gradual circulation with spatial impressions and information that begins from confrontation to reflective silence integrating the basic to complex structural flow. As a lasting reminder of nuclear violence, the Ground Zero Memorial commemorates the destruction of the past and also represents a firm stance towards the future, that nuclear weapons must be stopped before humanity destroys itself

Interpretasi Seismik dan Karakterisasi Reservoir Karbonat Berdasarkan Analisis Atribut Seismik pada Formasi Mantawa Lapangan "X" Cekungan Sulawesi Tengah

    No full text
This study aims to perform seismic interpretation and carbonate reservoir characterization in the Mantawa Formation using 3D PSDM seismic data and well log data. The methodology includes Well Seismic Tie (WST), horizon and fault interpretation, time and depth structure mapping, time-to-depth conversion (VoK), and seismic attribute analysis such as RMS Amplitude, Envelope, and Relative Acoustic Impedance (RAI).WST results from wells S-02 and S-03 show correlation values above 0.7 indicating that the seismic data is reliable for interpretation. The interpretation reveals a major east–west trending normal ==fault and an anticline structure located in the central part of the study area. This anticline zone is identified as a potential hydrocarbon trap, supported by high RMS Amplitude and Envelope attribute responses as well as its association with the fault system. These findings demonstrate that seismic attribute analysis is effective in delineating structural geometry and identifying prospective carbonate reservoir zones in the Mantawa Formation.
