PERANAN ELEMEN DESAIN DALAM MEMBENTUK ATMOSFER INTERIOR KAFE DI YOGYAKARTA
No full textPenelitian ini berjudul “Peranan Elemen Desain dalam membentuk Atmosfer Interior Kafe”. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peranan elemen desain dalam membentuk atmosfer interior kafe. Manfaat penelitian untuk menambah pengetahuan dibidang interior khususnya tentang atmosfer interior kafe. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan melalui pengamatan, pencatatan, dan wawancara. Pengambilan sample dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Dengan kriteria tersebut, maka pada penelitian ini sample yang diambil adalah Starbucks Coffee, Vanilla Sky lounge, Kopi Oey dan Paris bakery and café lounge. Analisis dilakukan dengan triangulasi data lapangan, teori dan hasil wawancara.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa elemen desain yang paling berpengaruh terhadap terbentuknya suasana adalah elemen cahaya sedangkan elemen paling sedikit dalam membentuk suasana ruang adalah elemen pola. Elemen desain juga dapat menguatkan tema yang diterapkan pada interior kafe. Suasana yang terbentuk dari elemen desain tersebut antara lain menarik, rileks, luas, sempit, intim, romantis, tegas, berkelas, mewah, hangat, unik dan tematis.Kata Kunci: Elemen desain, Atmosfer (Suasana), Interior Kaf

No full textSurabaya Arts and Cultural Theater is a building constructed on top of the old ruins situated among the old colonial era buildings in Surabaya with their Dutch colonial architectural styles. The building was previously a movie theaterbefore its demolition for the purpose of new building construction project. During the colonial era the building was the place where the Dutch met to engage in pool billiard sports during their leisure times. Right now the building has beenrevamped as the Surabaya Arts and Cultural Theatre.As an arts and cultural center, the building is equipped with various supporting facilities which may reflect and present the true culture of East Java. It should be able to accommodate the inspirations of all local artists. The arts and cultural theater is a building with classifications, facilities, and certain requirements in which it should be able to meet the demands to introduce the unique characteristics, arts, and cultures of the region in which the building is situated.The interior design of Surabaya Arts and Cultural Theater include the lobby area, auditorium, art gallery, coffee shop, changing/dressing room, and toilet which carries the "Sparkling Surabaya" theme with its Post-Modern style. The concept above is expected to enhance the image and bring a new atmosphere for other cultural centers in East Java as well, with particularemphasis on Surabaya Arts and Cultural Theater

No full textThe “Ghentak” dance’s title is taken from Malay language which means ‘menghentak’ or stomp the ground. This dance tells about the life of a ‘kumantan’ (spiritualist) in bulian ritual to recover any spiritual diseases in Talang Mamak tribe, Rengat regency, Riau province. Kumantan plays an important role in recovering spiritual diseases, because only kumantan who can get connected and to communicate with spirits. Every spirit that comes into a kumantan’s body (trance) has different attitude, it’s obviously seemed by the kumantan’s attitude that is always changing during the ritual, like swinging his body and stomp his feet on the ground with kangsa (feet bracelet). This dance is inspired by a kumantan whose strength becomes the main theme of the dance. The strength that’s meant to be is akumantan’s strength that’s able to recover any diseases that are caused by evil spirits by holding the recovering ritual for one day long, to move like swinging his body (kumantan) and stomp his feet on the ground. This Ghentak dance is performed by 7 male dancers that illustrate the figure of kumantan as general image, but there is no specific characterization, and they all wear the kangsa and mayang pinang as dance properties. This dance is also picturing about the life of Talang Mamak tribe that lives in the jungle with hunting as their primary occupation

No full textThis research aims to design branding and packaging application of processed aloe vera products which can show unique attributes and product values properly and aesthetically and also to promote the image of the product as unique souvenir icon from Pontianak City. Design concept that is going to be used in designing the branding and packaging application on processed aloe vera product is a concept which able to show unique attributes and product values aesthetically on its brand and packaging application. The style that want to be shown on this design are modern-looked and simple but elegant, so it has strong appeal and able to dominate the other packaging designs. The impressions that want to be shown on the product are natural, fresh and hygienic.The conclusion is this design wants to show the product illustration and the brand logo dominantly, tagline and other elements and attributes on the package. Both songs have been reharmonizationed for Christmas and before Christmas, so it becomes very familiar in the ears of Christians worship music accompaniment especially the youth in the church. It is very effective to improve the harmonization ability because many of the harmony processing that more progressive such as diminished chords, augmented chords, chord substitutions, slash chords, chord suspension, extension chords and addition chords applied in these songs. Through the learning of piano, youth can be familiar in knowing the term of chords and its progression that can be applied in songs of worship. No full textSebuah bangunan yang sudah melewati jangka waktu yang lama pasti akan melewati berbagai perubahan dan kerusakan. Tidak terkecuali bangunan-bangunan yang terdapat di kawasan kota tua, DKI Jakarta. Salah satunya adalah Gedung Bank Indonesia Kota. Gedung yang sudah tidak digunaka ini telah melalui berbagai perubahan sepanjang usianya yang hampir 200 tahun. Saat ini Bank Indonesia menggunakan gedung ini sebagai Museum Bank Indonesia. Berbagai penyesuaian pun dilakukan pada gedung ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kontinuitas dan perubahan pada interior gedung Bank Indonesia Kota. Gedung yang telah ditetapkan sebagai cagar budaya ini dirubah interiornya untuk menyesuaikan dengan fungsi barunya sebagai museum. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif yang mengkorelasikan antara data-data dari fungsi yang lama dengan fungsi yang baru. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu telah terjadi kontinuitas dan perubahan pada interior gedung Bank Indonesia Kota. Kontinuitas terjadi pada gedung yang telah ditetapkan sebagai cagar budaya. Namun terjadi perubahan pada interior beberapa ruang untuk menunjang fungsi gedung yang berubah dari kantor menjadi museum.Kata Kunci : Kontinuitas dan Perubahan, Kantor Bank, Museum, Elemen Pembentuk Ruan
