Jakarta Bogor Depok Light Rail Transit or abbreviated as LRT Jabodebek is a Mass Transit system with light rail (LRT) which is planned to be built in Jakarta, Indonesia and connecting Jakarta with surrounding cities like Bekasi and Bogor. One of the most important problem in the construction of this Jabodebek LRT is the delay in implementation time. This study aims to determine the factors that have a significant influence on the timing of the implementation on Jabodebek LRT. This research used descriptive method. The instruments that used in data collection is through questionnaire technique (questionnaire). This research will discuss about the application of the TOPSIS method in classifying which factors are the most significant to the time of construction on Jabodebek LRT. The weighting critriea and the classification criteria using Topsis. The results of this study indicate that land handover aspect is the first rank to be considered as the main factor causing project delay with preference value 0.9. The second aspect is the preparation of a good work plan with a preference value of 0.82. The third aspect is the selection of improper construction methods with the preference value of 0.8 and the fourth aspect which is not less important to be considered is the funding aspect of the project activity with the preference value 0.79. The author recommends that the decision makers should consider these aspects so that project implementation time can be well controlled so that there is no delay to know which factor is the most significant with respect to time in the implementation time of the project Jabodebek LRT

Chili (Capsicum frutescens) is one of foodstuffs whose price is fluctuate and still not processed well, so it becomes damaged. Processing chili becomes capsaicin extract can be done by using MAE method that requires high power and UAE method that produces low yield. Therefore, this study aimed to process chilies as capsaicin extract by using USE-MD and ME-MD methods. Chilies were extracted using 500 ml ethanol 96% in 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 minutes. The operating condition of the distillation was 78oC with a pressure of 1 atm. The result showed that the best method to get capcaisin extract was USE-MD method with optimum extraction time about 30 minutes. This method gave yield about 2.795% with concentration of capsaicin about 0.94 + 0.02% lb/l

Estimation Risk of High Risk Building Project on Contractor

    No full text
The increasing need for space and limited land especially in big cities cause many high rise building projects in Indonesia. Construction projects including high rise building projects are located in complex and dynamic environments result in high levels of uncertainty and risk. Risks are always present in construction projects and often lead to delay schedules or cost overruns. Risk management is a process consisting of risk identification, qualitative and quantitative assessment, response with appropriate methods of handling and risk control. The concept of risk management is becoming very popular in a number of businesses. Many companies often create risk management procedures in their projects to improve performance, minimize losses and increase profits Risk event from a different project is different from the risk event on another project. Likewise, the level of occurrence and impact in each project is always changing from one project to another. This makes it difficult for management to handle risks on new projects. Lack of risk management, even inadequate risk analysis, can put construction projects in jeopardy. This research looked for alternatives to get risk event, concequance or impact estimates and likelihood or generic possibilities in order to be used to control the risk of subsequent high rise building projects. This research involves several high rise building projects that will be used as a basis for determining risk events, concequance or impact and likelihood or possibilities. In this study used qualitative methods, and data analysis is done by statistical analysis by finding the average of available data. Estimation this risk can help contractors, especially in the field of high rise building to manage risk both from risk factors, likelihood and consequence

    Get PDF
This paper discusses a correlation between non dimensional parameter of the ship (L/B,B/T, wake fraction, ratio between induced and advance velocity, thrust loading coefficient) and energy gain by applying vane-turbine in the propeller slipstream. The data based on the basis of statistical data (numerical) and model testing. The correlation data can be calculated by quantifying the contribution of causal variables to a targeted effect variable directly and indirectly through other variables and this would be examined by Path analysis. By using this coefficient, it is possible to demonstrate which variable has the main contribution on the efficiency gain. The Data analysis of Microsoft Office Excel software is used to approach the calculation. It is found that L/B and CT affected indirectly the efficiency gain of vane-turbin

We developed a robot for searching victims for survivors of natural disasters. Almost all robots need to navigate a state in the environment to help people around them, therefore the robot should have performance a mapping system. Thus improve the performance of robots in knowing the obstacles, the position and the direction toward the robot with the task of each sensor is to detect obstacles or objects that exist in the use of ultrasonic sensors to avoid bumping into obstacles, to detect the position and determine the distance of the robot using a rotary sensor encoder and to determine the direction toward, direction and elevation angle of the robot using IMU sensor. Whole of the sensor is set by the microcontroller STM32F407VGT6 that sent data from each sensor to a PC using XBee Pro. Therefore, robot create a mapping with OpenGL on the PC. Mapping system plays an important role for fast and accurate to the destination. We conclude, in the robot SLAM method depends on the precision of the data in the sensor US2 (Right), US4 (Left) and the rotary encoder. The test results of the output data at the right ultrasonic sensor produces error US2 16.9%, 14.6% US4 left ultrasonic and rotary encoder sensor error to 19.45%

    Get PDF
Generally the concrete behavior can be observed by the experimental analysis. However, since the computer technology development has been increased rapidly, the computer simulations are also able to represent the detail behavior of concrete. This paper presents the modeling response of concrete material subjected to biaxial loading using finite element method software based. The plain concrete plates with dimensions 200mm x 200mm x 50mm and 150mm x 150mm x 50mm are analyzed using various combinations of biaxial loading. The results of the biaxial load combinations are covering the three non-linear regions of compression–compression, compression–tension, and tension–tension. The results of finite element analysis are also show good agreement to the experimental results that been taken from the previous study. The comparison results the difference between analytical and experimental study are less than 5%. Therefore, the concrete material model based on this finite element method software can be used to simulate the responses in the real conditio
