PENGALAMAN KELUARGA SEBAGAI PMO DALAM PENGOBATAN TB DI PUSKESMAS NGGOA KABUPATEN SUMBA TIMUR
Full text linkPendahuluan: Jangka waktu pengobatan TB yang relatif lama dan banyaknya jumlah Obat Anti Tuberkulosis yang harus diminum menyebabkan kebosanan dan kegagalan pengobatan TB. Keluarga diharapkan dapat mendukung program mengobatan TB dengan mengambil bagian secara langsung sebagai Pengawas Menelan Obat (PMO). Peneliti mencoba menggali pengalaman yang dialami keluarga pada saat menjadi PMO, terutama pada keluarga yang memiliki anggota keluarga yang sedang dalam pengobatan TB kategori II, yaitu tipe relaps, default dan failure. Diharapkan dengan adanya informasi mengenai pengalaman keluarga tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai suatu acuan untuk meningkatkan dukungan keluarga pada penderita TB kategori II. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan gambaran tentang pengalaman keluarga sebagai PMO dalam pengobatan TB kategori II di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Nggoa Kabupaten Sumba Timur. Metode : metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualititatif dengan metode pendekatan fenomenalogi deskriptif. Pemilihan partisipan dilakukan dengan strategi purposive. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara terstruktur. Hasil: Tema yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Tingkat Perasaan, Jenis Peran dan Faktor Hambatan. Tema Tingkat Perasaan terdiri dari dua kategori yaitu Perasaan Sensoris dan Perasaan Psikis. Tema Jenis Peran terdiri dari tiga kegori yaitu Peran sebagai PMO, Pemenuhan Kebutuhan dan Kebersihan Lingkungan, sedangkan Tema Faktor Hambatan terdiri dari dua kategori yaitu Internal dan Eksternal
PENGARUH SENAM OTAK DAN BERMAIN PUZZLE TERHADAP FUNGSI KOGNITIF LANSIA DI PLTU JEMBER
Full text linkIntroduction: Cognitive function consist of learning process, perception, understanding and rationalization. Most of elderly are facing declining cognitive function. This research is conducted to find out the effectiveness of combination of brain game and puzzle in order to increase elderly’s cognitive function. Method: It’s a pre experimental design with pre post test design. There were 48 respondents taken by purposive sampling. Respondents are given brain gym and and playing puzzle for 30 minutes, three days a week for a month. Cognitive function are measured by using MMSE before and after brain game. Result: Before treatment, 48 respondents show that all of them have moderate cognitive impairment. After treatment, 12 respondent show mild cognitive impairment and the rest show moderate cognitive function. The data analyzed by using Wilcoxon sign test and show p value 0,000 < α 0,05. Conclusion: Means that brain gym and puzzle are effective in order to increased or maintain elderly cognitive fuction
KEBIASAAN MENCUCI TANGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN DIARE PADA ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI KOTA WAINGAPU KABUPATEN SUMBA TIMUR
Full text linkIntroduction: based on the pattern of the cause of death of all age, diarrhea is the leading cause of death of the 13th ranked by the proportion of the deaths of 3.5%. Diarrhea is the leading cause of death number 3 after Tuberculosis and Pneumonia. East Sumba Regency has a prevalence of diarrhea clinical > 9%. The purpose of the study to find out the relationship between the habit of washing hands with SOAP to use on students with variable incidence of diarrhea on elementary school students of the country town of waingapu subdistrict of East Sumba Regency. Methods: this research is quantitative research Types, with a descriptive correlation design, which used a crosssectional approach. Results: 26 people or 13% suffer from diarrhea in the last 3 months. Conclusions: knowledge of elementary school children in the hand washing was heavily influenced by the teachers at the school, Elementary school children enough in getting used to the district town of Waingapu 13% of respondents suffer from diarrhea in the last 3 months. there is a significant relationship between hand washing with diarrhea in children of primary school
