Psychometric Analysis of Religiosity Scale in the Elderly: Analisa Psikometris Skala Religiusitas Pada Lansia
Religiosity is deemed essential for humans, especially when humans entered the elderly. Increased relationship with their religion will improve the health and psychological well-being of the elderly. The purpose of this study is to conduct psychometric analysis of the religiosity scale based on the context of Islamic religion. The sample consisted of 205 elderly with aged criteria above 60 years. This scale was developed based on the multi-dimensional structure of religiosity theory, are: the ideological (acceptance of the belief system); the feeling (subjective and emotional religious experience as an expression of personal religiousness); the ritualistic (participation in religious activities and practices); the intellectual (knowledge of the belief system); and the consequential (ethical consequences of the belief system). The measurement method with reliability test uses Cronbach’s alpha and internal validity measurement using corrected item-total correlation and exploratory factor analysis (EFA). An Overview of Suicide Risk for Homeless Women at Pondok Social Surabaya: Case Study: Gambaran Risiko Bunuh Diri pada Wanita Tunawisma di Pondok Sosial Surabaya: Studi Kasus
This case study describes an interview on the risk of suicide to a homeless woman in a social lodge in Surabaya, referred to as YS, which shows the symptoms of suicidal tendencies. The interview assessment used is a structured interview guide from the NSW department of health (2010) about the risk of suicide in individuals. The results of the suicidal risk assessment interview on the subject of YS ie the subject has ever thought about committing suicide. The originator is related to the problem in the sticky figure, namely the family. Other triggers include neglect from close relatives, until finally the subject is entrusted to Liponsos. The subject explained that he had tried to kill himself and hurt himself in the early months of 2017. The subject had tried to wash his hands until his hands were bleeding. The subject also stabbed himself using a pin even today. The subject considered death a scary thing, but on the other hand the subject also felt awry. The subject claimed that he already had a plan to end his life, but he was confused because it was impossible to end his life in Liponsos, even though he thought that in Liponsos there were also residents who died. The dynamics of YS suicidal risk trends will be explained in this case study report
The Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence and Cyberbullying Behavior in Adolescents in Salatiga: Hubungan Antara Kecerdasan Emosional Dengan Perilaku Cyberbullying Pada Remaja di Salatiga
This study is conducted to examine the correlation between emotional intelligence and cyberbullying behaviour among teenagers in Salatiga. It involved 405 teenagers aged 15-17 years old (247 girls and 158 boys). Data were taken using The Assessing Emotion Scale of Schutte, Malouff, dan Bhullar (2009), consisted of 33 items with validity coefficient 0,843, to examine validity coefficient, and The Cyber-Bullying Questionnaire of Esther Calvete, Izaskun Orue, Ana Estévez, Lourdes Villardón, and Patricia Padilla (2010), consisted of 16 items with validity 0,839, to examine the variable of the behaviour. It was analyzed using Spearman's rank correlation coefficient in SPSS 16.0 for windows. The results showed a significant negative correlation between emotional intelligence and cyberbullying behaviour with rxy = -0,126 dan p = 0,006 (p < 0,05)
The Relationship between Gratitude and Body Image in X High School Students in Bandung: Hubungan Rasa Syukur dengan Citra Tubuh pada Siswi SMA X Kota Bandung
Physical appearance for young women is important to show their existence. Physical and body condition and face are ideal images that are expected by every teenager. Various efforts are made by most teenagers to improve their image in order to get positive from the environment. Gratitude is important for overcoming the difficulties of excessive body maintenance. Gratitude and body image are interesting things to study so this research is to understand the relationship between gratitude and body image in Bandung X Senior High School students. The research subjects were 36 female high school students who had ideal body weight through the calculation of the Body Mess Index (BMI). The researcher developed two research measuring instruments, namely the Gratitude Scale from the concepts of Al Qayyim and Abdul Syukur and body image from Cash, 2002. The data analysis technique used was the Spearman test analysis. The results of the analysis obtained the participation coefficient r of 0.590 (p = 0,000; p> 0.05). These results indicate that there is a significant relationship between gratitude and higher body image, gratitude, the more positive the body image

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and achievement motivation and how much influence self-efficacy on achievement motivation on eighth semester student students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Sciences at Muhammadiyah University Sidoarjo. This research was conducted with a quantitative correlational research method, using simple random sampling with a sample of 227 students. The measuring instrument uses two scales, self-efficacy scale and achievement motivation scale with Pearson product moment correlation technique with the help of IBM Statistics 20 Version for Windows. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and achievement motivation. The implications of this study is to develop student achievement and provide interventions to improve the quality of education. Maximum improvement of education qualification can improve self-efficacy and achievement motivation in working student
Go-Jek Motor Driver's Patience and Work Commitment: Kesabaran dan Komitmen Kerja Supir Go-Jek Motor
The online-based transportation is very helpful for people in doing activities. Besides being easy to reach, online transportation also offers cheap and fast prices. One company that develops online transportation is Go-Jek. The presence of Go-jek is a negative thing for conventional transportation services., Conventional transportation drivers conduct large-scale demonstrations until anarchic action against Go-Jek drivers. Although there are problems on the road, Go-Jek drivers committed to the company in carrying out their duties. With these problems, Go-Jek drivers are required to be patient, they persevere to keep working. This is interesting to study. Therefore this research is important to do, because it aims to see how patience and work commitment of Go-Jek drivers. The sample of research subjects was 95 people. The results of this study indicate that most Go-Jek motorcycle drivers have a low level of patience and work commitmen
Relationship between religiosity and resilience in breast cancer survivors: Hubungan Religiusitas Dengan Resiliensi Pada Survivor Kanker Payudara
Breast cancer survivors feel stressed and weak when receiving a verdict, but not a few of them are able to rise up and submit to God that they will be cured. The results aims to determine the relationship between religiosity and resilience in breast cancer survivors. The method is bivariate correlational. Subject of this study is 35 breast cancer survivors of Bandung Cancer Society. The measuring instrument were the Religiusity Scale and Resilience Scale. The results showed that religiosity with resilience in breast cancer survivors has a positive relationship with a correlation value of 0.597 or moderate level of correlation, coefficient of determination is 0.356 or 35.64%. Religiosity aspects that have the highest contribution value are forgiveness aspects with a contribution value of 0.913, and the aspect of resilience which has the highest contribution value in increasing resilience is the aspect of work engagement with a contribution value of 0.917
Social Anxiety Viewed From Self-Esteem In Adolescents Low Socio-Economic Status: Kecemasan Sosial Ditinjau Dari Harga Diri Pada Remaja Status Sosial Ekonomi Rendah
This study aims to determine the relationship between self esteem with social anxiety. The subjects of this study were 115 adolescents in low socioeconomic status of Lingkungan VIII Belawan I, kecamatan Medan-Belawan. Datas were obtained from scales used to measure self esteem and social anxiety. Calculations were performed by testing the analysis requirements (assumption) that consisted of tests for normality and linearity. The data were analyzed using Product Moment Correlation with SPSS 17 for Windows. The results of the data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient was - 0.595 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). It showed that there is a negative relationship between self esteem and social anxiety. The results of this study indicate that the contributions made by the variable of self esteem on social anxiety was 35.5 percent, while the remaining 64.5 percent was influenced by other factors that were not examined. From these results, it is concluded that the hypothesis, which stated that there is a negative relationship between the self esteem and social anxiety, is acceptable
Effectiveness of the Application of Economic Tokens to Improve the Academic Self Concept of Students with Developmental Disabilities: Efektivitas Penerapan Token Ekonomi Untuk Meningkatkan Konsep Diri Akademik Siswa Tunagrahita
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of giving economic tokens to improve the academic self-concept of mentally retarded students. The design of this study is multiple-baseline design across the subject that is all research subjects get the same intervention as before it has been ascertained that the research subjects have the same characteristics according to the research objectives. Research participants were 2 people. Data collection techniques in this study used a scale of academic self-concept, observation, and interviews. The results showed that the administration of economic tokens was effective in improving the academic self-concept of retarded students with a significance result of 0.041 <0.05
Academic Procrastination Reviewed From Self-Concept In Semesetr V Students Of Psychological Faculty X University In The City Of Medan: Prokrastinasi Akademik Ditinjau Dari Konsep Diri Pada Mahasiswa Semesetr V Fakultas Psikologi Universitas X Di Kota Medan
This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept with academic procrastination. The hypothesis of this study stated that there is a negative correlation between self-concept with academic procrastination, assuming the higher self-concept, the lower the academic procrastination and conversely the lower self-concept, the higher academic procrastination. The research subjects were 124 fifth semester students of psychology faculty at university X of medan city selected by purposive sampling method. Data were obtained from a scale to measure self-concept and academic procrastination. The calculation was performed by means of testing requirements analysis (assumption) that consists of a test for normality and linearity test for relationships. The Analysis of the data was performed by Product Moment Correlation with SPSS 17 for Windows. The results of data analysis showed that the coefficient was -0.454 and p 0.000 (p <0.05). It showed that there is a negative correlation between self-concept and academic procrastination. These results indicate that the contribution given to academic procrastination by self concept variable was 20.7 percent and the remaining 79.3 percent is influenced by other factors such as self regulated learning and self efficacy. From the results, this study showed that the hypothesis is accepted that there is a negative relationship between self-concept with academic procrastination
