    Abstract– In this study, the off-grid solar system is used to support the lighting for the residents in Dusun Sedayu. Each house had a total lighting power of 12 Watt consisting of two lamps of 5 Watt and 7 Watt lamp respectively. The technical analysis conducted includes several supporting components such as: the examination of solar panel capacity of 700 WP, the examination of the used battery capacity of 500 Ah, the examination of the BCU capacity of 60 Ampere and the election of the inverter of 12VDC / 220VAC 500 Watt. The results of the economical assessment obtained of the system are as follow: daily average power (P) which can be raised for 10 hours (07.00 am to 17.00 pm) is equal to 337.96 Watt, the average energy per day (Eh) is about 3,3796 kWh, the energy price per unit from the  off-grid solar system is about Rp.13.294,46, - / kWh, and the period of return on investment (payback period) of the off-grid solar energy system is about 4.01 years. By analyzing the Internal Rate Of Return (IRR) of the off-grid solar system, it can be concluded some of the following: IRR with energy prices of Rp.415, - (TDL. PLN) is smaller than the MARR, therefore, the project is stated as infeasible. However, the IRR with energy prices of Rp. 13294.46, - (price per unit of energy) is greater than the MARR, thus, it can be claimed that this project is worth to be done.   Keywords– off-grid, energy, technical,economic, investment

    Abstract– Electrical energy is very important in the world of education. It is very operational support in learning at SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak. Equipment such as air conditioning, lighting and a practice that is a lot of equipment that consumes electrical energy. This is a waste of energy. To tackle the problem of the energy efficiency. One of the methods that are now used for efficient energy consumption is energy conservation. Energy conservation is the increase in the efficiency of energy use or energy saving process. In this process include the presence of an energy audit that is a technique that is used to calculate the magnitude of the energy consumption in buildings and identify ways to penghematannya. Audit of electrical energy in the air conditioning system is an alternative system of electric energy savings, thus obtained the proper AC specifications to be applied in the classroom at the University economics faculty Tanjungpura without leaving aspects of feasibility analysis, installation of air conditioners that have been adjusted. Also evaluates investment approach to Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) as the basis for the beginning of the feasibility of the approach requires techniques to determine the basic forecasts profits and costs is then compared with a profit of present value, using the prevailing interest rate. Installation of split AC inverter that has the appropriate obtained BCR net value obtained by 1.16 and the investment cost of Rp. 3. 850.000/ unit AC with BEP value of Rp 1,360,198,898 in year 2 the use of air conditioning. Therefore, the value of BCR ³ 1.00; then the Split AC inverter complies with the requirements of the room is considered beneficial.     Abstract– RSUD Dr. Abdul Aziz Singkawang selalu ingin meningkatkan diri baik dari segi fisik maupun sarana medis agar dapat memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik pada masyarakat. Hal ini tentunya disertai dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan akan energi listrik. Oleh karena itu untuk mengoptimalkan dan mengefisiensikan penggunaan daya listrik tersambung diperlukan manajemen energi listrik. Optimalisasi pemakaian daya tersambung dilakukan melalui konservasi energi pada sistem tata cahaya dan sistem tata udara, yaitu dengan mengganti  peralatan yang tidak efisien dengan peralatan yang lebih efisien seperti lampu LED dan AC Inverter serta memperbaiki faktor daya beban listrik menggunakan bank kapasitor. Dari hasil perhitungan didapat penggunaan lampu LED dapat menurunkan konsumsi energi listrik sebesar 86.641,1 kwh per tahun, atau setara dengan penghematan biaya sebesar Rp.77.976.99077.976.990 per tahun. Penggunaan AC Inverter dapat mengurangi penggunaan energi listrik AC sebesar 527.242,7 kwh per tahun atau setara dengan penghematan biaya sebesar Rp.476.218.250476.218.250 per tahun. Penggunakan bank kapasitor dapat memperbaiki faktor daya hingga 0,99 dan menghemat penggunaan daya tersambung sebesar 44,2015 kva (22,44%), atau 43,7595 kw sebagai daya aktif yang setara dengan penghematan biaya sebesar Rp. 271.399.919271.399.919,8. /tahun. Berdasarkan perbandingan antara besarnya biaya investasi dan biaya yang dihemat dari optimalisasi beban, cara optimalisasi ini layak untuk dilaksanakan.     Abstract– The quality of supply system is found to be very effective in deteriorating the performance of three phase induction motors, a class of electrical machines which is widely used in industrial power systems. This paper presents an attempt to identify the impacts of harmonics and unbalance on induction motor performance. The presence of voltage magnitude and/or phase angle unbalance in the supply system is considered as well as harmonics distortion.  Computer simulations of a VFD fed induction motor under different quality conditions of supply system are implemented using Powersim (PSIM). Six scenarios of harmonics contained supply system are tested, i.e. scenario 1 : balanced voltage magnitude, balanced phase angle and balanced transformer; scenario 2 : balanced voltage magnitude, balanced phase angle and unbalanced transformer; scenario 3 : unbalanced voltage magnitude, balanced phase angle and balanced transformer; scenario 4 : unbalanced voltage magnitude, balanced phase angle and unbalanced transformer; scenario 5 : balanced voltage magnitude, unbalanced phase angle and balanced transformer, and scenario 6 : balanced voltage magnitude, unbalanced phase angle and unbalanced transformer. The test results indicate that the quality of supply system has significant impacts on the speed and mechanical torque of three phase induction motor operating with harmonics contained and unbalanced supply system.   Keywords– harmonics, unbalance, voltage magnitude, phase angle, induction motor

    Realisasi Pengering Ikan Menggunakan Energi Biomass dan Panel Surya

    Abstract– Proses pengeringan ikan di daerah keluarahan Sungai Pinyuh masih dilakukan secara tradisonal, yaitu dijemur di bawah sinar matahari.  Proses ini memakan  waktu yang  cukup lama, dibutuhkan waktu dalam  pengeringan  ikan  2 sampai 4 hari dan itu pun tergantung adanya sinar matahari. Selain itu kualitas hasil pengeringan tradisional masih kurang baik. Alat pengering ikan yang dirancang memanfaatkan panas yang bersumber dari pembakaran biomass dan panel surya yang  berfungsi sebagai   kolektor panas. Sehingga proses pengeringan dapat berlangsung cepat, setiap saat dan tanpa tergantung sinar matahari. Pengendalian suhu pengeringan dilakukan dengan cara buka tutup saluran udara pada alat pengering.  alat pengering ini terdiri dari kolektor surya, tungku pembakaran biomass, ruang pengering (box) dan blower. Ruang pengering berfungsi sebagai tempat diletakkan ikan-ikan yang akan dikeringkan. Blower berfungsi mengalirkan panas yang bersumber dari kolektor surya atau pembakaran bimomass ke ruang pengering.   Hasil pengujian menunjukkan dalam waktu dua jam, proses pengeringan terhadap 1 Kg ikan basah turun menjadi 500 gr. hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pengeringan dengan menggunakan alat pengering tenaga biomass dan  surya lebih cepat dibandingkan proses pengeringan secara manual selama 4  hari.     Abstract– Program Pemerintah dalam rangka konservasi energi telah tertuang dalam Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 70 Tahun 2009, hal ini perlu diimplementasikan ditingkat daerah. Khususnya Kota Pontianak yang merupakan barometer kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Objek penelitian ini adalah Kantor DPRD Kota Pontianak. Dari hasil survey data dan perhitungan, melalui program Manajemen Sisi Beban (DSM) khususnya metode strategi konservasi (strategic conservation) dengan melaksanakan langkah-langkah penghematan energi dan biaya seperti no-cost actions, medium payback time actions dan long payback time actions diperoleh peluang penghematan yang cukup siknifikan, yaitu 172.574,55 kWh/tahun, dengan pemakaian energi sebelum dilakukan DSM adalah sebesar 285.542,19 kWh/tahun, dan setelah dilakukan DSM adalah 112.967,354 kWh/tahun. Untuk biaya tagihan rekening listrik peluang penghematan sebesar Rp. 152.728.480,-/tahun. Sebelum dilakukan DSM biayanya sebesar Rp. 252.704.834,-/tahun dan sesudah dilakukan DSM sebesar Rp. 99.976.354,-/tahun. Konsep DSM dapat dijadikan landasan untuk Penyusunan kebijakan Pemerintah Daerah tentang Konservasi Energi di Kota Pontianak yang mencakup prosedur pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi, serta penghargaan dan sanksi.     Abstract– This research aimed to improved parquet of coconut coir through improvement the esthetics of the parquet coconut coir with extendlaminate tekstur using substance of environment waste that assumed unused for society but have potency to be used like for example husk of bamboo bar, so that can produce parquet of coconut coir laminate withnatural tekstur.Method used for the process of coconut coir become the parquet laminate is beforehand by using cold press and hot press to produce result the parquet coconut coir, furthermoreproduce of raw material for the lamination tekstur that coming from waste of like bamboo bar which then will applied at parquet of coconut coir through press processing and draining with the system of warm-up infrared.This research aimed to design and construct the press and dryer machine to produce parquet laminate from coco fiber in accordance with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI 01-4449-2006). Researchers conducted a factorial experiment on the composition of the material forming the parquet laminate to have been a factor in the study of high density < 0.84 g/cm3 and medium density factor is 0.40g/cm3 to 0.84 g/cm3. Based on the test results of density, parquet laminate generated by the composition of 50% coco fiber with 50% adhesive and filler classified as High Density Fiberboard and parquet laminate with composition of 65% coco fiber with a 35% mixture of adhesive and filler classified as Medium density Fiberboard. Based on tests of water absorption and water content, parquet laminate with a composition of 35% coco fiber with 65% adhesive and filler or parquet with composition of 50 % coco fiber with 50 % adhesive and filler has been able to meet the requirement. Based on the thick expansion test, only parquet with code C3-IK6 and C3-IK9 qualified to the category of medium density fiberboard. Based on the tensile test perpendicular surface firmness, parquet printout for the composition 35 % coco fiber with 65 % adhesive and filler, and the composition of 50% coco fiber with 50% adhesive and filler has a surface perpendicular firmness pull more than 1.5 kgf/cm2 thus meeting the requirements. Based on the constancy test flexural fracture (MOR) and modulus of elasticity firmness (MOE), test of parquet in this research meet the requirements of SNI No. 01-4449-2006 to the category of medium density fiberboard Type 15.     Abstract Ketidak seimbangan volume perdagangan antar wilayah menyebabkan terjadinya kelebihan kontainer kosong pada satu wilayah, dan kekurangan kontainer kosong pada wilayah yang lain. Keterbatasan kapasitas storage area pada wilayah yang kelebihan kontainer kosong menyebabkan permasalahan bagi pengelola terminal untuk mengelola kegiatan operasional terminal. Permasalahan ini disebabkan karena keterbatasan ruang gerak pada terminal kontainer. Pihak pengelola terminal kontainer akan melakukan alokasi kontainer kosong agar dapat menjamin kelancaran operasional terminal kontainer. Sebagai pihak yang menggunakan jasa operasional terminal dan memiliki kontainer kosong, shipping line akan terkena dampak dari setiap keputusan yang dilakukan oleh otoritas terminal. Pada penelitian ini objek kajian adalah terminal kontainer pelabuhan Pontianak. Entitas PT Pelindo mewakili sudut pandang pengelola terminal kontainer, dan entitas shipping line mewakili sudut pandang pemilik kontainer. Dikembangkan sekenario alokasi dengan pendekatan PT Pelindo dominan dalam alokasi kontainer kosong dan shipping line sebagai pihak yang terkena dampak pengambilan keputusan dari pengelola terminal.
