Case Study of a Patient with Bilateral Below-elbow Amputation and Prosthetic Options
Name: Case Study of a patient with bilateral below-elbow amputation and prosthetic options Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis was to present the possibilities of prosthetic care for a patient with bilateral upper limb amputation at the forearm level. The thesis is structured as a case study focusing on a specific client who underwent amputation of both forearms. The practical part is centered on the production of trial prostheses and finding the best solution to meet the individual needs of the patient, using modern prosthetic technologies, specifically myoelectric upper limb prostheses. The goal of this approach is to help the client to manage not only everyday activities and self-care more effectively, but also to fully participate in leisure activities and personal interests. Method: The bachelor's thesis was divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part was based on available professional literature, scientific studies, and other relevant sources. It served as a review focused on the topic of upper limb amputations, pre- prosthetic care, the possibilities of modern prosthetic treatment using myoelectric prostheses, and follow-up rehabilitation. The practical part of the thesis was written as a case study of a patient with bilateral forearm amputations. The main..
The impact of regular swimming lessons on the motor skills of preschool-aged children
Title: The impact of regular swimming lessons on the motor skills of preschool-aged children. Objective: The aim of this thesis was to determine the extent to which swimming lessons influence the motor abilities of children aged three to six years. Methods: The study employed testing and scaling methods. To assess motor skills, standardized MOBAK KG motor tests were used, focusing primarily on coordination and balance. Specifically, the tests included object-related movement (target throwing, catching a ball, dribbling, and ball control) and non-object-related movement (walking on a bench, forward roll, hopping on one leg, and running forward and backward). The scaling method was then used to evaluate and compare the results. Results: Regular swimming instruction has a positive effect on the motor skills of children aged three to six years. Although the children from the swimming club Vydrýsek achieved overall higher scores than those from the Seminárium kindergarten, both in the initial and final tests, statistical analysis did not reveal a significant difference between the groups. The Transformation of Italian Fascism - From its Origins to the Present
This thesis presents a comprehensive analysis of the transformation of Italian fascism from its emergence after World War I through the transformation after World War II to the present. The first part of the thesis examines the ideological inspirations of fascism, the causes of its emergence and development during the interwar period until the fall of the fascist regime at the end of World War II. The subsequent chapters of the thesis focus on the transformation after 1945, when fascism did not completely disappear with Mussolini's death, but adapted to the times in a new neo-fascist form. The final part of the thesis is devoted to the transformation that occurred in the 1990s and persists to the present. This section briefly analyses the contemporary Italian far- right, especially neofascist political entities such as CasaPound Italia and Forza Nuova or Fratelli d'Italia representing the postfascist transformation. The thesis aims to capture both the continuity and transformation of Italian fascism across the 20th and 21st..

The first part of the thesis is devoted to the current state of the investigated issue and theoretical background of the topics of breast cancer and secondary lymphedema related to it. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the search of appropriate studies based on predetermined criteria and keywords in the electronic databases PubMed, Cochrane library, Web of Science, Medline, PEDro, Academic search ultimate and Scopus. Subsequently, 14 studies, randomized controlled trials or prospective randomized controlled trials, were read in more details. Results: Based on the analysis of the included studies, the first question regarding the most commonly used physiotherapy approaches in the treatment of lymphedema in women after breast ablation can be answered by the statement that complex decongestive therapy..

Autoantibodies in diagnostics of autoimmune blistering skin disorders
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Science Title of thesis: Autoantibodies in diagnostics of autoimmune blistering skin disorders Author: Bc. Michaela Martinková Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Ctirad Andrýs, Ph.D. The theoretical part of my thesis is focused on describing autoimmune blistering skin diseases, clinical image and anamnesis of individual types of diseases, diagnosis, association of diseases with the relevant specific autoantibodies directed against individual skin antigens and their therapy. The practical part of my thesis is divided into two parts. The first part describes the principles and protocols of individual labratory methods that were used when processing the analyzed set of samples. The second part is focused on the evaluation, comparison and suitability of these laboratory methods. Based on a comparison of individual labratory methods, we found that all methods that were used were well interchangeable. Methods using the ELISA technique have a match of more than 95 %, indirect immunofluorescence and ELISA methods have a match of more than 80 %. The best option for disease screening is either inderect immunofluorescence or Dermatology profile ELISA test. ELISA methods that can determine the titre of autoantibodies..

FIFA Football Agent Regulations and their Compliance with EU Competition Law.
This thesis addresses the legal challenges surrounding the compatibility of Article 15(2) of the FIFA Football Agent Regulations (FFAR) with Articles 101 and 102 TFEU. In particular, the thesis examines whether the service fee caps contained in Article 15(2) FFAR constitute a restriction of competition "by object". It evaluates whether FIFA has abused its dominant position by enacting it. Furthermore, the thesis investigates FIFA's competence to regulate football agents, its status as an association of undertakings, and the FFAR in general within the purview of EU competition law. It also presents the relevant concepts and judicature of the ECJ concerning the EU competition law in relation to sport. Additionally, it explores the distinctions between FIFA's regulatory authority and that of a public authority. The methodology employed combines a systematic examination of legal doctrine with a comparative evaluation of the relevant case law. This inquiry is based on a comprehensive examination of EU competition law, including a detailed analysis of relevant case law from the ECJ and national courts. In particular, recent decisions such as European Superleague Company and Diarra illustrate recent developments in EU competition law, including the newly limited applicability of the Meca-Medina test...
