Possibilities of inclusion of visually impaired pupil in lower secondary school
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the inclusion of a pupil with visual impairment into a mainstream primary school class. The theoretical part analyzes various aspects of integration, including the legislative framework in the Czech Republic, forms of inclusion, and their respective advantages and disadvantages. Emphasis is placed on understanding different types of visual impairment and their impact on the integration process, as well as the influence of classmates, family, and the overall school environment. The first section of the theoretical part defines the concepts of integration and inclusion in the education of pupils with special educational needs. It further addresses the legislative foundations of these approaches within the Czech educational system and describes the available support measures that facilitate the inclusion of visually impaired pupils. The following chapters outline forms of integrationboth individual and groupwith a focus on their practical application. Various forms of inclusion are also discussed, ranging from individual inclusion supported by a teaching assistant, through partial inclusion with the help of a special education center, to inclusion with the use of a shared assistant. The practical part of the thesis presents a case study of the inclusion of a specific visually impaired pupil into a mainstream class. It examines the measures implemented by the school to support this pupil, including the use of special pedagogical methods and technologies. Furthermore, the thesis evaluates the effectiveness of these measures and their impact on the school environment and the pupil's academic outcomes. Overall, the work aims to provide insight into the inclusion of visually impaired pupils at the lower secondary school level
Metodická podpora k vytvoření lapbooku pro děti mladšího školního věku (na příkladu učiva státní svátky a významné dny)
National holidays and significant days are an important part of cultural heritage that should be incorporated into primary education. This thesis focuses on the use of these topics in teaching with the aim of developing an interdisciplinary approach and creative methods of working with students. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical section addresses project-based learning methods, interdisciplinary relationships, and the use of lapbooks as an effective didactic tool. It also pays attention to the use of the digital platform Canva for creating educational materials and its impact on the attractiveness of the learning process. The practical section includes the design and implementation of 19 worksheets focused on national holidays and significant days. These activities were tested in practice in primary school education. Reflection was based on feedback from students and teachers, evaluating the benefits of the activities in terms of supporting critical thinking, collaboration among students, and the integration of learning across various subjects. The practical part also includes a reflection on the author's pedagogical skills, particularly their ability to plan, implement, and assess the educational process. The results of the thesis confirm that the theme of national holidays and significant days can be effectively integrated into teaching while supporting active student engagement and their relationship with cultural traditions
Real-time Open Data Monitoring System
The goal of this bachelor’s thesis was to design and implement a modular system MyRTAlerts for monitoring open traffic data in real-time, focused on the city of Brno. The system integrates heterogeneous sources—community information from the WAZE application, official data from the National Traffic Information Centre, and public transport vehicle positions—through three preprocessors written in Go language. The architecture is divided into data, application, and presentation layers. The application layer, which is integrated with the data layer from the existing RIoT program during implementation, provides evaluation of key performance indicators (KPI) and GraphQL API, while the presentation layer provides a responsive web application in React/TypeScript. Users who were involved in the testing phase could monitor selected connections, sections, or areas and set threshold values for alerts. Testing results confirmed the correct functioning of the system and led to the implementation of partial optimizations. Future extensions include historical data storage, provision of an open API, integration of new data layers (e.g., air quality), and mobile application development
Tripartite as a tool for student self-evaluation
The thesis focuses on tripartite meetings as a tool for developing students' self-assessment. The aim of the research was to find out how teachers in public and private schools use tripartite meetings to support students' self-assessment, and what impact the regular integration of self-assessment into teaching has on students' ability to assess their strengths and areas for development. The research used qualitative methods, specifically semi-structured interviews with teachers from three schools, observations of tripartite meetings, and analysis of authentic materials. The results showed and confirmed the findings of the theoretical part that tripartite meetings are a significant tool for developing students' self-assessment. However, their effectiveness depends on the regularity and manner of integrating self-assessment into teaching, as well as on the approach and beliefs of individual teachers. The research also highlights the importance of formative assessment, which significantly positively influences students' self-concept. The thesis provides inspiration for teachers on how to effectively use tripartite meetings to support the development of students' self-assessment. The strategy of the Fair trade movement in the fight for a fair world
This thesis primarily focuses on analyzing the strategies used by the Fair trade social movement in fulfilling its vision of fair trade. The main objective is to understand these strategies, to reveal the factors influencing their selection, to map their implementation in practice and to examine how these strategies evolve over time, thereby provides a detailed perspective on how the movement aims to reduce inequalities in global trade. The thesis also explores the classification of the Fair trade movement within the broader context of social movements and seeks to answer whether Fair trade can truly be considered a social movement, and if so, what type of movement it represents. The findings not only provide a comprehensive overview of its strategies, their implementation and impact, but also contri- bute to understanding the dynamics of the Fair trade movement and its ability to adapt to changing conditions. Keywords: Fair trade, Fairtrade, social movements, strategies, choice factor, tactics, justice, reform, identity, alternative, transnationalism, fair trade
Explainable LLM-based evaluation for NLG using error analysis
Traditional metrics for evaluating natural language generation (NLG) often struggle to capture linguistic complexity or align with human judgment. Recently, approaches based on large language models (LLMs) have been proposed to address these limitations. However, many existing approaches rely on proprietary LLMs or lack sufficient explainability. This thesis explores the potential of open-weight LLMs to develop a robust and explainable method for NLG evaluation. We develop a prompt-based evaluation method that applies an ensemble of LLMs to assess the quality of generated texts. This method is then applied to construct a synthetic training dataset that represents a wide range of tasks, evaluation aspects and systems. Using this dataset, we train a specialized evaluator model through distillation, employing Llama 3.1 8B as the backbone. Evaluation on a number of benchmarks demonstrates that our ensemble approach outperforms both the traditional NLG metrics as well as trained neural models and LLM-based methods. Additionally, the fine-tuned evaluator achieves competitive performance, with substantial improvements over the backbone model
Evaluation of the satisfaction of clients of the TP Sananim Low Threshold Work and Stabilization Programme
Backgrounds: Client satisfaction evaluation is one of the means of obtaining feedback on services in the Low Threshold Work and Stabilization Program operated by Sananim's outreach programs. This gives clients the opportunity to express their needs and provide feedback on services. Aims: The aim of the research was to determine the satisfaction of clients with the Low Threshold Work and Stabilization Program. I wanted to find out how satisfied the clients were with the services offered, if there was anything missing from the program and what the weaknesses of the program might be. Methods and research set: I used the RAR - Rapid assesment and response methodology to obtain the data. I collected data through semi-structured interviews with 21 clients of the program. I selected respondents through purposive sampling across institutions. They were adult clients of Sananim outreach programs who are injecting drug users, attend the Low Threshold Work and Stabilization Program, and consented to participate in the research. During the interviews, I took notes on a recording sheet and then converted the data into an electronic format for content analysis. Respondents' participation in the research was voluntary and anonymous, with no remuneration. The research was approved by the ethics committee of the..
Reconciling work and personal life with focus on employee monitoring
Reconciling work and personal life with focus on employee monitoring Abstract The thesis is devoted to the legal regulation of reconciliation of personal and professional life with a focus on employee monitoring. The interpretation of the thesis is primarily focused on the theoretical insight into both, at first sight unrelated, topics, which are subsequently linked in the thesis. The topic of work-life balance is outlined in the introduction in connection with the right to disengage, the enshrinement of which in legislation is widely discussed across the EU. Therefore, the thesis does not fail to critically evaluate the proposed legal regulation of the right to disengage and the importance of enshrining it in the Czech legal system. In view of the growing influence of information technology on the labour market, employers' attempts to control employees in the performance of their work are increasing. The aim of this thesis is therefore to summarise, evaluate and assess the legal regulation of monitoring, which at first sight seems too general, in relation to the right to privacy. Given the overall thrust of the thesis, the right to privacy itself, which is of considerable importance throughout the thesis, receives considerable attention. The thesis also highlights the shortcomings of the effective..
