Aplicación de guiado a través de senderos
No full textEl objetivo del proyecto es el desarrollo de una aplicación móvil que nos guíe a través de diferentes senderos en la provincia de Alicante y nos ofrezca información de interés conforme los recorremos. Este proyecto parte de una versión inicial de la aplicación (desarrollada con Ionic y Leaflet) para continuar su desarrollo y mejorarla en aspectos clave. Las mejoras se centran en modernizar su estilo visual, migrar los datos a un servidor para que sean más fáciles de actualizar, añadir la capacidad de descargar rutas offline para usarlas sin cobertura y perfeccionar la usabilidad general de la navegación guiada. Para ello, la aplicación se conectará al nuevo servidor para descargar la información de una colección de senderos. Cada uno de ellos tendrá un "track" que deberemos seguir y una serie de puntos de interés con material multimedia asociado (fotos, vídeos, audios). Al hacer la ruta, la aplicación usará el GPS para ayudarnos a seguir el "track" y nos mostrará la información de los puntos de interés cuando estemos cerca de su posición

No full textLa recepción de la obra literaria y de la figura intelectual de Ramón J. Sender en Italia tuvo una trayectoria intermitente y contradictoria, que se inserta en el cauce de la industria cultural y de los agentes literarios de dicha temporada e ilumina los factores que forjaron la formación del canon tanto en Italia como en España. A través del escrutinio del epistolario inédito entre Sender y la editorial Einaudi hoy conservado en el Archivio di Stato de Turín (AST) y en el Instituto de Estudios Altoaragoneses (IEA) de Huesca, el trabajo intentará arrojar luz sobre la recepción de Sender en Italia e ilustrar su aspiración de encontrar en este país una patria literaria alternativa, ante las dificultades editoriales en la España franquista. A partir del renovado interés que despertó la producción literaria del autor aragonés en Italia, especialmente en la década de los sesenta, el estudio pone de relieve las iniciativas de Einaudi para convertirse en su editor de referencia y planear la publicación sistemática de su obra, empezando por Crónica del alba. Se analizarán los factores que favorecieron este acercamiento y las expectativas compartidas por ambas partes en torno a una colaboración duradera. Asimismo, se pretende profundizar en las razones solo parcialmente investigadas por las que este ambicioso plan editorial, tras una entusiasta acogida inicial, terminó disolviéndose en una desaparición progresiva e inexorable del nombre de Sender del catálogo editorial einaudiano.The reception of Ramón J. Sender’s literary work and intellectual persona in Italy is marked by an intermittent and contradictory trajectory. This process unfolded within the broader context of the cultural industry and literary agents of the period, shedding light on the factors that shaped the formation of the literary canon both in Italy and in Spain. Through the examination of the unpublished correspondence between Sender and Einaudi publisher now preserved in the Archivio di Stato in Turin (AST) and the Instituto de Estudios Altoaragoneses (IEA) in Huesca, this study delves into Sender’s reception in Italy and illustrates his aspiration to find in this country an alternative literary homeland, in response to the editorial constraints posed by Francoist Spain. Building on the renewed interest in Sender’s literary production in Italy, particularly during the 1960s, this work highlights Einaudi’s initiatives to become his primary publisher and to envision a systematic publication of his work, started with Crónica del alba. The analysis will explore the factors that facilitated this rapprochement, as well as the expectations shared by both parties concerning a long-term collaboration. No full textJorge Marín, pseudónimo para la obra en castellano de Josep Manyé, es uno de los periodistas que, desde su exilio en Gran Bretaña, más difundió en el ámbito hispánico los usos y costumbres de la sociedad inglesa, especialmente desde las emisiones en español y en catalán de la BBC, pero también en la prensa española. Corresponsal de la revista Destino durante dos décadas y media, sus colaboraciones en otras cabeceras durante los años de la dictadura han pasado desapercibidas hasta el momento. Este trabajo se propone recoger cómo fueron estas colaboraciones, insertas, en su mayoría, en el periodismo cultural, y de qué trataban estos textos periodísticos de Marín publicados en la España franquista en cabeceras como Revista, La Vanguardia Española, Historia y Vida y Jano.Jorge Marín, the pseudonym under which Josep Manyé published his work in Spanish, was one of the journalists who, from his exile in Great Britain, most actively disseminated knowledge of English society’s customs and social practices within the Spanish-speaking world. He did so primarily through the BBC’s Spanish and Catalan broadcasts, but also through the Spanish press. As a correspondent for the magazine Destino for more than twenty-five years, his contributions to other periodicals during the years of the dictatorship have so far remained largely unnoticed. Ambivalence in exile: Gregorio Martínez Sierra and Catalina Bárcena’s professional correspondence (1937-1947)
No full textPoco después de finalizar su prolífica etapa en Hollywood, el empresario, director de escena, editor y autor Gregorio Martínez Sierra, y la célebre actriz Catalina Bárcena se instalaron en Madrid con el propósito de hacer películas en España. Sin embargo, el comienzo de la Guerra Civil los obligó a abandonar el país en septiembre de 1936, para establecerse de forma intermitente en Argelia, Francia y Argentina, aguardando un posible retorno que se consumó once años más tarde. Este artículo estudia la correspondencia disponible e inédita que la pareja mantuvo entre 1937 y 1947 con autores, empresarios y otros creadores, así como diplomáticos, editores e hispanistas, a fin de reanudar su actividad profesional luego de su huida de España. De este modo, además, los interesados trataron de asegurar y de prolongar su estancia en el extranjero. Este epistolario profesional da cuenta de una actitud ambivalente ante el conflicto bélico y la dictadura franquista, pero también atestigua las dificultades propias del exilio que sorprendieron a estas dos figuras clave en el teatro español del primer tercio del siglo XX. Finalmente, se propone la inclusión de Gregorio Martínez Sierra y Catalina Bárcena en la historia del exilio español republicano, asumiendo que su postura se encuentra más próxima a una actitud de supervivencia y de oportunismo, que, por otra parte, no fue extraña para otros exiliados.Shortly after concluding their prolific Hollywood period, the entrepreneur, stage director, editor, and author Gregorio Martínez Sierra and the renowned actress Catalina Bárcena settled in Madrid with the intention of making films in Spain. However, the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War forced them to leave the country in September 1936, leading them to intermittent stays in Algeria, France, and Argentina, while awaiting a possible return that was finally realized eleven years later. This article analyzes the unpublished correspondence exchanged between the couple from 1937 to 1947 with authors, entrepreneurs, and other creators, as well as diplomats, editors, and Hispanists, to resume their professional activities after fleeing Spain. Moreover, through this correspondence, they sought to secure and prolong their stay abroad. This professional epistolary reveals an ambivalent attitude towards the armed conflict and the Francoist dictatorship, as well as the hardships inherent in exile, which surprised these two key figures in early 20th-century Spanish theater. Finally, this paper proposes the inclusion of Gregorio Martínez Sierra and Catalina Bárcena in the history of the Republican Spanish exile, assuming their stance was closer to an attitude of survival and opportunism, which, moreover, was not uncommon among other exiles
Return to work and sport after arthroscopic grafting for scaphoid nonunion
No full textIntroduction: This study aims to assess the rates of return to work and sports participation following arthroscopic bone grafting for severe scaphoid nonunion. Patients and methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of patients treated for scaphoid nonunion from 2017 to 2024, with a minimum follow-up of one year. All patients underwent arthroscopic repair utilizing an olecranon bone graft and antegrade screw fixation. Employment status and sports participation prior to the diagnosis of nonunion were documented and evaluated at final follow-up. Results: A total of 21 patients met the inclusion criteria. Before the diagnosis of scaphoid nonunion, 18 patients (85.7%) were employed, with 2 (11.1%) not returning to work. Seventeen patients (80.9%) participated in sports prior to nonunion. At the final follow-up, one patient (5.8%) was unable to resume sports, while two patients (11.7%) modified their activities due to ongoing wrist discomfort during pre-injury sports. Conclusion: The arthroscopic management of scaphoid nonunion resulted in significant functional recovery, with an 88.9% return-to-work rate and a 94.2% return-to-sport rate. Level of evidence: IV
Hexalis. Cortometraje de animación 3D
No full textEste trabajo pretende explicar en detalle el desarrollo de un cortometraje de animación 3D, el cual trata de imitar a los episodios pilotos de las series de televisión. Presenta un estilo visual cartoon y su historia trata de Shift, un chico que, tras la insistencia de su amada Halley decide apuntarse al Gran Desafío, una serie de pruebas para unirse a una organización muy importante llamada Hexalis. Algunos momentos de esas pruebas se muestran como adelantos para generar interés en el espectador. Al tratarse de un piloto de una serie, la historia presenta un final abierto que deja al público con ganas de saber que aventuras le depararán al protagonista. Para lograr llevar a cabo este desarrollo, se ha empleado una metodología profesional dividida en tres etapas: preproducción, producción y postproducción. Además, se han utilizado herramientas específicas para cada parte del proceso, como por ejemplo Blender para el modelado y animación, Adobe Photoshop para la creación de texturas o DaVinci Resolve para el montaje de vídeo. Con todo ello se ha conseguido obtener un producto final que relata una historia interesante, que transmite adecuadamente la temática propuesta y que cumple con todos los objetivos que plantea este proyecto
Ru/NiO-CeO2-catalyzed CO and CO2 CO-methanation
No full textA highly active Ru/NiO-CeO2 (NP) catalyst, synthesized by ruthenium impregnation on NiO-CeO2 mixed oxide 7–8 nm nanoparticles, has been studied for the individual and simultaneous methanation of CO and CO2, showing onset CH4 production in co-methanation at 200 °C, and maximum CH4 production at 350 °C. Isotopic gas pulse experiments indicated that the catalyst is continuously reduced by H2, yielding catalyst oxygen (16O)-containing water, and it is re-oxidised with 18O once 12C18O or 13C18O2 are pulsed. The catalyst exchanges 16O atoms with the 12C18O and 13C18O2 pulsed gases simultaneously to the hydrogenation to methane. Ru improves the hydrogenation steps and methane production, which is mainly relevant during the CO + CO2 co-methanation, and the formation of NiO-CeO2 solid solution improves the COx chemisorption and favors the hydrogenation of the surface carbon reaction intermediates. DRIFTS experiments indicated that chemisorption of CO and CO2 yields the same surface species (bicarbonates and carbonyls), which means that the catalyst dissociates the CO2 molecule to yield carbonyls and it is also able to oxidize CO with catalyst oxygen to yield bicarbonates. NAP-XPS experiments evidenced that the main redox process during the solo CO2 methanation occurs at the Ni2+-CeO2 interface, and that ruthenium is highly and homogeneously reduced, keeping Ru0 stable under reaction conditions. The effect of CO in the oxidation state of the catalyst surface is negligible using pure CO, a CO methanation mixture (CO + H2), and a co-methanation mixture (CO + CO2 + H2), and the reducing effect of H2 always prevails.The authors thank the financial support of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (Project PID2022-139552OB-C22) and Generalitat Valenciana (Project CIPROM/2021/74). Tourism and climate change: a critical review from ecological economics and political ecology
No full textVivimos amenazados por una emergencia climática. No obstante, y pesar de las numerosas evidencias científicas que apuntan a la urgente necesidad de reducir las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero, éstas siguen aumentando. En este contexto, el turismo no solo se erige en receptor pasivo altamente vulnerable a los impactos del cambio climático (CC), sino también en un agente activo que, con su huella de carbono, contribuye significativamente a la crisis climática. Mediante la metodología “Revisión de Revisiones”, este artículo sistematiza el conocimiento acumulado en la literatura académica sobre el nexo turismo-CC. Así, se identifican tres ejes temáticos prioritarios: los impactos del CC en la actividad turística y territorios turistificados, la huella de carbono del turismo, y las estrategias de mitigación y adaptación. También se señalan los principales retos y áreas de estudio que, según los autores de las revisiones analizadas, deberían potenciarse. Asimismo, y desde los enfoques críticos de la economía ecológica y la ecología política, se destacan algunas lagunas temáticas y ontológicas presentes en la literatura académica dominante. Se observa que una parte significativa de estas investigaciones se enmarcan en el paradigma neoliberal del “Brundtland as Usual”, auspiciado por la Agenda Climática Global, lo que compromete el diseño de políticas para avanzar hacia una transición ecosocial justa en territorios turistificados. Para concluir, el artículo ofrece algunas orientaciones para la construcción de una agenda de investigación crítica.We are being threatened by a climate emergency. However, despite the abundance of scientific evidence indicating the urgent need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, they continue to increase. Within this context, tourism is not only a passive recipient that is highly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change (CC), but also an active agent that, with its carbon footprint, contributes significantly to the climate crisis. Using the “Review of Reviews” methodology, this article systematizes the knowledge accumulated in the academic literature on the tourism-CC nexus. Thus, three priority thematic axes are identified: the impacts of CC on tourism activity and touristified territories, the carbon footprint of tourism, and mitigation and adaptation strategies. The main challenges and areas of study that, according to the authors of the reviews analyzed, should be strengthened are also identified. Likewise, and from the critical approaches of ecological economics and political ecology, some thematic and ontological gaps existing in the dominant academic literature are highlighted. It may be observed that a significant part of this research is framed within the “Brundtland as Usual” neoliberal paradigm, sponsored by the Global Climate Agenda, which compromises the design of policies to advance towards a just eco-social transition in turistified territories.
