Systematic Review of Solar and Wind Power Plants for 14-Meter Fishing Boats
The use of fossil fuels is becoming increasingly expensive, and the amount is limited. Utilizing wind and solar energy sources onboard fishing vessels during operation is one of the solutions to reduce operational costs. This article presents a study on applying solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind turbines for a 14-meter BSC (Blue Swimming Crab) fishing vessel in Rembang Regency, Indonesia. This study discusses the use of renewable energy sources that can be applied to meet onboard electricity needs and their economic impact. This analysis considers to operating system scenario for seven days catching the BSC in the Java Sea. The calculation results show that the solar PV and wind turbine energy that can be utilized as electrical energy are 22,960-Watt h. The required battery is 20 units at 100 Ah 12 Volts and an investment cost of USD 21,084. The advantage of applying this technology is an operational cost saving of 16%, which can increase fishermen’s income by 11%. The challenge of a hybrid or electric propulsion system is fantastic, using the serial configuration of the power topology, and the result of preliminary estimates of the investment value is approximately 173,277 USD
Perancangan Toko dan Restoran di Kyou Hobby Shop Dengan Pendekatan Konsep Akihabara di Malam Hari
Masuknya anime ke Indonesia membuat anime menjadi digemari oleh kalangan anak muda di Indonesia. Mulai dari tayangnya anime di stasiun televisi, maupun anime bajakan yang tersebar dalam bentuk DVD maupun di Internet. Banyaknya penggemar anime dan budaya pop Jepang lainnya membuat banyak munculnya komunitas penggemar anime dan hadirnya event dengan tema budaya pop Jepang di Indonesia. Berkembangnya penggemar anime di Indonesia, termasuk di Tangerang belum sebanding dengan jumlah tempat yang bisa mewadahi penggemar anime untuk dapat menyalurkan hobinya sekaligus sebagai hiburan. Perancangan Kyou Hobby Shop di Gading Serpong bertujuan sebagai salah satu wisata yang bisa dikunjungi oleh warga baik di sekitar maupun luar Gading Serpong. Selain itu, Kyou Hobby Shop juga bisa mewadahi event yang didirikan oleh penggemar anime seperti perkumpulan komunitas ataupun acara lainnya. Perancangan interior dari Kyou Hobby Shop ini menghadirkan konsep Akihabara di malam hari dengan memasukkan unsur-unsur yang ada di Akihabara dengan segala pengembangannya baik dari segi konsep maupun fasilitas. Kyou Hobby Shop ini diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat mengenai anime
Design Optimization on Seawater Distillation System That Utilizes Exhaust Gas On 300 Gt Fishing Vessel
In the shipbuilding process, planning and calculations are needed, including the planning of the existing systems on the ship, one of which is the freshwater supply system. In planning the freshwater supply system, it is necessary to calculate the fresh water tank, which depends on several parameters such as; length of sailing time, number of ship passengers, and others. There are two options to supply the large freshwater needs, either providing a large tank capacity or a freshwater production system (seawater treatment). However, providing a large space for freshwater tanks will reduce the payload of the ship. Most of the generators' diesel engine combustion can be used to maximize the heat energy wasted through the generators’ diesel engine exhaust gases. The solution that will be pursued is the distillation of seawater into freshwater by utilizing the heat energy of engine exhaust gases, which so far have not been optimally utilized on fishing vessels. In this project, we will discuss the use of exhaust gas for the design optimization of a seawater distillation system that utilizes exhaust gas on a 300 GT fishing vessel
Penentuan Harga Opsi Bermuda Menggunakan Simulasi Monte Carlo Reduksi Antithetic Variates
Opsi merupakan produk derivatif yang popular di kalangan investor pada industri keuangan. Hal ini terjadi karena perdagangan opsi menawarkan potensi profit yang tinggi disertai fleksibilitasnya dalam pengelolaan risiko keuangan. Salah satu jenis opsi yang menarik perhatian adalah opsi Bermuda. Opsi Bermuda adalah opsi yang memberikan keleluasaan bagi pemegang opsi untuk menggunakan haknya pada waktu tertentu selama opsi belum kadaluarsa. Penentuan harga opsi Bermuda menjadi suatu tantangan terutama karena melibatkan struktur payoff yang kompleks. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk membandingkan dua metode simulasi yang umum digunakan, yakni simulasi Monte Carlo standar dan simulasi Monte Carlo dengan teknik reduksi variansi antithetic variates, sehingga didapatkan metode yang lebih efektif dalam menilai harga opsi Bermuda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode simulasi Monte Carlo dengan antithetic variates memberikan hasil yang lebih akurat dan tingkat eror yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan metode Monte Carlo standar. Dengan demikian, metode ini terbukti lebih efektif dalam menilai harga opsi Bermuda
Analisis Teori Antrian dalam Pelaksanaan Vaksinasi Covid-19 di Puskesmas Tapen
This research was motivated by the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the government provides vaccine services for the public. However, this large-scale vaccination has resulted in uncontrolled patient arrivals due to the omnipresence of crowds. This gives rise to even wider spread of new corona virus cluster. The study employs queuing theory to analyze the average number of patient arrivals, the average of service quality, and the optimization of health workers deemed essential at the Tapen Health Center. This study is devoted to analyzing the queuing system and waiting time during vaccination at the health center. This study garners data obtained through interviews and direct observation with officers serving the Covid-19 vaccination. (The results of this study concluded that the queue model [M/M/2]:[FCFS/∞/∞] Tapen Health Center has provided optimal service that is able to serve an average of 7 to 17 people from 08.00-11.00 WIB
Kinerja Seismik Berbagai Konfigurasi Bresing Eksentrik Pada Gedung Struktur Baja Tidak Beraturan
Penggunaan bresing eksentrik (Eccentrically Braced Frame, EBF) pada struktur baja merupakan salah satu alternatif yang cukup efektif karena mempunyai kekuatan, kekakuan awal dan daktilitas yang relatif tinggi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur EBF pada gedung baja yang mengalami ketidakberaturan horizontal. Variabel studi berupa sepuluh pemodelan variasi konfigurasi bresing. Model uji diberi beban dorong statik nonlinier dari kondisi elastis sampai kondisi runtuh untuk diperoleh kinerjanya. Semua model struktur berada pada level kinerja Damage Control. Berdasarkan perilaku inelastiknya, struktur A EBF F merupakan struktur terkuat pada arah X dan C EBF F menjadi struktur terkuat pada arah Y. Ditinjau dari kekakuan daktilitas struktur, C EBF F merupakan struktur terkaku dan terdaktail pada arah X maupun Y

Analysis of Level Team Effectiveness in The Implementation of Scrum Using Evidence-Based Management (Case Study: Company A as A Fintech Industry)
In implementing Scrum in Company A, which is a fintech company, there is a Scrum Master who is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the Scrum team. The Scrum Master of Company A still uses the velocity chart to measure team effectiveness. Still, the use of the velocity chart itself cannot describe the level of responsiveness of the team in delivering products to users. In this study, the applica- tion of EBM is used as a metric to replace the velocity chart in analyzing the level of effectiveness of the Scrum team in Company A. Through FGDs with senior Scrum Masters. The EBM metric was selected to be used in the analysis. The application of EBM is carried out by collecting primary data from each team and secondary data from company data. Data from each team was analyzed and weighted. The results of this study indicate the effectiveness score of each team. Based on these scores, the Scrum Master can determine which team’s process needs to be improved. This research can be used as an illustration for companies that implement Scrum in mea- suring the effectiveness of Scrum teams
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Absorption Process Using Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH)
An absorption process can be carried out to reduce carbon dioxide gas emissions in the surrounding environment. Absorption is a contact process between a mixture of gas and liquid that aims to remove one of the gas components by dissolving it in a suitable liquid. In this study, the CO2 absorption process was carried out to determine the effect of CO2 flow rate on the amount of CO2 absorbed with NaOH absorbent. The results showed that the correlation between CO2 flow rate and absorption factor was inverse because an increase in CO2 flow rate caused the contact between CO2 gas and NaOH to decrease. As a result, the absorption factor decreased because the ratio of CO2 was greater than the absorbent. While the relationship between L/V and the absorption factor is directly proportional if the flow rate of the liquid increases, the retained liquid tends to saturate and can accelerate the diffusion of CO2 in the water, so the absorption factor also increases. In addition, after the absorption of CO2 gas, sodium carbonate is produced, which is the result of the reaction of CO2 with NaOH
