Analisis Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Penerapan Implementasi Pengolahan Limbah Konstruksi Berkelanjutan Pada Proyek Konstruksi Gedung Bertingkat
Industri konstruksi telah menghasilkan limbah konstruksi dan pembongkaran dalam jumlah yang sangat besar dan sebagian besar dibuang ke tempat pembuangan akhir yang tidak secara efektif digunakan kembali atau didaur ulang. Berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), hanya sekitar 14,96 juta ton dari 29 juta ton limbah dikelola di Indonesia pada tahun 2021. Hal ini menimbulkan dampak buruk terhadap berbagai aspek berkelanjutan seperti aspek lingkungan, sosial dan ekonomi. Namun, permasalahan ini belum menjadi perhatian utama di Indonesia. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis faktor penghambat dan pendukung penerapan pengolahan limbah konstruksi berkelanjutan ditinjau dari aspek ekonomi, sosial, lingkungan, teknikal dan peraturan pemerintah di Indonesia. Variabel yang digunakan didapatkan dari penelitian terdahulu dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan survei kuesioner penelitian kepada 51 responden. Pengolahan data menggunakan analisis faktor eksploratori. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh faktor penghambat utama adalah faktor peraturan pemerintah; faktor teknikal; faktor manajemen lingkungan; faktor sosial dan faktor kepentingan ekonomi. Faktor pendukung utama adalah faktor peraturan pendukung; faktor teknikal dan faktor ekonomi.
Manajemen Risiko Banjir Pada Masyarakat Rentan
Floods can have a worse impact on vulnerable communities compared to the general population. Surabaya City still frequently experiences floods with an average inundation height of 10,92 cm and duration of 19,12 minutes. Vulnerable communities are those with high risks, such as the elderly, pregnant women, people with disabilities, and the poor. Based on this issue, this research aims to analyze the level of disaster risk that connects hazards, vulnerability, and capacity of vulnerable communities. The study focuses on four neighborhoods with the most severe flooding based on Surabaya City inundation data. The research is divided into two stages: the first stage determines the weight of indicators for each variable using pairwise comparison, and the second stage involves surveying 120 respondents from vulnerable communities to assess scores for hazard, vulnerability, and capacity variables, which are then used to calculate the risk level. The research results indicate that the highest risk level occurs in Gundih and Dukuh Pakis neighborhoods with a score of 3,52. This is due to the high vulnerability caused by drainage channel conditions and building elevations below road level, posing a threat to vulnerable communities.
Reliability improvement of railway vehicles: a review
Railway vehicles are mobile parts of the operating basis on railways that are used for the movement on the track. Reliability is an important factor in the operation of railway vehicles as they play an important role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of railway operations. The complexity of subsystem structures can affect vehicle reliability, and failure or damage to components can lead to operational disruption or system failure. Reliability improvement techniques focus on minimizing failures, reducing unplanned downtime, and ensuring efficient and safe operation of railway vehicles. These techniques include maintenance strategies, design optimization, spare parts management, training, skilled management, and reliability analysis. This paper aims to discuss these reliability improvement techniques globally and specifically examine the performance of railway vehicles in Indonesia. Prioritizing reliability improvement is applied to minimize unexpected breakdowns and failures, thereby improving passenger experience, punctuality, and safety. By reducing disruptions, reliability improvements contribute to smooth train travel, minimizing delays, and creating a safer environment. In addition, improved reliability in railway transportation systems increases efficiency, benefiting passenger satisfaction, economic growth and development. Safe, reliable, and efficient transportation facilitates the movement of goods and people, encourages trade and enhances regional connectivity, ultimately supporting sustainable economic development
Management Inventory Control and Assessment of Information Systems Based on ISO 25010 Test
A shipyard company certainly has a recording system to manage raw material inventory. The minimum-maximum stock level method analysis was used to calculate raw material inventory control. The calculation results obtained using the min-max stock level method, amounting to 14 items of fiberglass ship raw materials, were calculated, and the resin has the highest utilization value. The ending stock in 2022 for the resin is 195 liters, while the calculated safety stock is 2.08 liters. The Min-Max Stock Level method has not been implemented in the company’s raw material inventory. A website-based system is used to control the inventory system. Inventory system development is needed so that the inventory management system in the company runs effectively and efficiently. The quality of system development can be measured based on the ISO 25010 standard feasibility test. Based on three aspects of the ISO 25010 standard, the test results show the percentage results based on the functional suitability aspect of 100% for each validator, which means the percentage in the system criteria is acceptable. In the usability aspect, the percentage obtained is 92.2%, indicating that the designed system’s quality is included in the feasible criteria. Control System for Pakcoy Hydroponic Cultivation with Nutrient Film Technique based on Internet of Things
When applying the hydroponic method, there are several main factors that need to be looked at, such as nutrition and pH. This research involves the design of a Nutrient and pH Monitoring and Control System for Hydroponic Plants Based on the Internet of Things (IoT) with closed loop control. This system aims to make it easier for farmers to manage their crops in all conditions by monitoring nutritional needs, pH levels and overall plant health from anywhere using a smartphone. Based on research that has been carried out, the Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) sensor shows an accuracy of up to 99.3%, with an error margin of 2.43% and a correction value of 2.43 ppm. The pH sensor has an accuracy of up to 99.35%, with an error of 0.039%, and a correction of 0.039. The JSN-04 ultrasonic sensor has an accuracy of up to 100%, with 0% error, and 0 cm correction. In plants that are cultivated using a control system, the height gain is more significant than plants without a control system
Identifikasi Permasalahan Mahasiswa Evaluasi Semester Program Akademik dan Vokasi di Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya
This study investigates the issues faced by students with Dispensation, Probation Semester Promotion, and Non-Promotion statuses based on evaluations from the 2021 Even Semester to the 2024 Odd Semester at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Surabaya. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, the research examines problems in semester evaluations. The population consists of 422 active students, with a sample of 252 students selected through Proportioned Stratified Random Sampling. Data was collected via questionnaires and interviews. Analysis employed the Guidance and Counseling Problem Checklist (DCM) in Higher Education, covering 11 topics through 56 Likert-scale statements. Problems were ranked based on Respondent Achievement Level (TCR) percentages. Findings reveal that the most significant issue is in the "Very Problematic" category. The top problem topic is Campus Adjustment (69.78%), with the leading issue being motivation to study (88.73%). The second issue is Future and Ambition (55.94%), with a focus on identifying self-potential (79.60%). Social Life and Organizational Activity ranks third (52.56%), primarily due to lack of organizational participation (60.79%). Lastly, Recreation and Hobbies (51.40%) highlights insufficient time for hobbies to boost enthusiasm (65.56%). These findings underscore key areas for student support interventions
Driving Behavior Factors of Young Drivers Influencing Motorcycle Traffic Accidents in Jember, East Java
Traffic accidents are unexpected and undesirable incidents that occur on the highway, resulting in damage and casualties. Traffic accidents occur due to several contributing factors, including driver behavior, road conditions, technical errors in vehicles, and environmental conditions. Based on several studies, motorcycles are the vehicles most frequently involved in traffic accidents. Jember is one of the districts in East Java with a high number of motorcycle accidents. Based on data from 2017 to 2019, motorcycle traffic accidents in Jember reached 3,543 cases. Most of motorcycle riders involved in accidents in Jember are young riders. Young riders are considered to lack proper driving attitudes. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between driving behavior and accidents in Jember District among young motorcycle riders using structural equation modeling (SEM). The primary data used were survey results with respondents consisting of motorcycle riders aged up to 24 years old residing in Jember District. There is also supporting data in the form of accident data that occurred in Jember District from 2018 to 2022. Using that method, the results showed that driving behavior variables significantly influencing traffic accidents are traffic violations and stunts. The traffic violations variable has an influence of 0.840. Meanwhile, the stunts variable has an influence of 0.267
Application of Time Cost Trade Off Method in Optimizing Time and Cost on Ship Refurbishment Projects KMP Dharma Rucitra 1 and MT Triaksa 17
Delays that occur in the KMP Dharma Rucitra 1 ship refurbishment project have an impact on the MT Trikasa 17 ship refurbishment project, so that the project work must be accelerated in order not to exceed the contract. This study aims to overcome the delays that occur by finding the most optimal time acceleration value and the minimum cost. The time cost trade off method is often used in scheduling the repair of two or more ship units simultaneously to optimize project time and cost, so this method is considered to be able to overcome the problems that occur. Based on the repair list and main schedule data, the critical trajectory and productivity values of each job were obtained. The work on the critical trajectory was treated with variations of additional working hours (overtime) and variations of additional workers. The analysis shows that the addition of working hours (overtime) provides effective results, namely the addition of 1 working hour (overtime) with a reduction in time by 12.5% and a cost of Rp. 253,236,000 (4.35% increase). While the addition of labor provides effective results, namely the addition of 4 workers with a 25% reduction in time and costs of Rp. 245,140,000 (0.78% increase). Based on the two effective results, the most efficient result to overcome the delays that occur is the addition of 4 workers
Coastal Community Perceptions of Waste Management as an Effort to Maintain Marine Sustainability in Tapanuli Tengah Regency, North Sumatera
This study aims to determine the perception of coastal communities in Central Tapanuli towards waste management as an effort to maintain marine sustainability and formulate waste utilization activities as an effort to increase the income of coastal communities in Central Tapanuli. The research method used in this study is a mixed research method. This study was conducted in three locations, namely in Lubuk Tukko Baru Village and Muara Nibung Village, Pandan District and in Jago Jago Village, Badiri District with a total of 100 respondents in the study. Based on the results of the study, the results of the perception of "community understanding of waste management in coastal areas" were obtained with an overall average value of 91.16%, meaning that all respondents strongly agreed or understood very well. Then for the results of the perception of "understanding of coastal environmental cleanliness and waste utilization to increase family income" the overall average result was 53%, with the category sometimes or less understanding. Then the results of several activities were obtained that were appropriate for coastal communities in Central Tapanuli Regency in utilizing waste as an effort to increase income with the management categories divided between organic waste and non-organic waste. Organic waste is very possible to be used for maggot cultivation activities or commonly called Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggots and making candles and soap for households from used cooking oil. Then for non-organic waste, it is very possible to carry out activities to form a Waste Bank, establish a skills center that provides economic added value, and implement cooperation with private and government companies in managing non-organic waste
