Karakteristik Tingkat Okupansi dan Komposisi Barang Bawaan pada Perjalanan Berpenumpang pada Taksi Bluebird di Kota Surabaya
Pertumbuhan kawasan-kawasan terbangun di Kota Surabaya memberikan potensi yang besar bagi pengemudi taksi untuk mengangkut lebih banyak penumpang dari kawasan satu ke kawasan lain. Namun saat ini perusahaan dan pengemudi taksi belum efisien dan efektif dalam menggunakan kendaraan taksi untuk mengangkut penumpang, dikarenakan mereka belum mengetahui dengan tepat ukuran dan jenis taksi yang berpotensi untuk mengangkut penumpang lebih efektif. Dan belum bisa memperkirakan besar kecilnya bagasi suatu kendaraan taksi yang efisien digunakan dalam mengangkut penumpang. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini melakukan metode analisis distribusi data dengan penyebaran kuesioner dan diolah dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Hasil penelitian ini adalah jumlah penumpang terjadi sebanyak 1237 perjalanan taksi atau 82%. Jumlah penumpang sebanayak 2 terjadi sebanyak 231 perjalanan taksi atau 15%. Jumlah penumpang sebanyak 3 terjadi sebanyak 28 perjalanan taksi atau 2%. Dan jumlah penumpang sebanyak 4 terjadi sebanyak 7 perjalanan taksi atau 1%. Tipe bawaan barang dengan komposisi Besar terjadi pada 190 perjalanan taksi sebesar 13%. Tipe bawaan barang dengan komposisi Sedang terjadi pada 271 perjalanan taksi sebesar 18%. Dan Tipe bawaan barang dengan Komposisi Kecil terjadi pada 1042 perjalanan taksi sebesar 69%. Data Karakteristik tingkat okupansi dan komposisi bawaan barang bias digunakan unutk menentukan kapasistas taksi di Surabaya. Usaha Taksi di Surabaya cukup dengan menggunakan mobil taksi yang kecil dengan ruang bagasi kecil

Penilaian Tingkat Transparansi Musyawarah Perencanaan Pembangunan (Musrenbang) Kota Surabaya
E-musrenbang hadir dengan harapan dapat memenuhi perwujudan tata kelola pemerintahan yang baik (good governance). Dalam konsepsi good governance, transparansi publik menjadi sebuah prioritas tersendiri karena transparansi dapat memperkecil terjadinya kesalahan, sehingga masyarakat dapat turut menilai dan mengkritisi. Namun, dalam praktik musrenbang Kota Surabaya, masih terdapat temuan-temuan yang menuntun pada permasalahan transparansi kebijakan publik, diantaranya adalah elite capture, ketidaksesuaian data, dan hambatan-hambatan lain pada sistem. Hal seperti ini merupakan sebuah gap tersendiri mengingat Kota Surabaya juga bertindak sebagai kota prestatif dan percontohan bagi banyak wilayah lain di bidang kepemerintahan.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dengan teknik analisis skoring Indeks Kepuasan Masyarakat, transparansi musrenbang Kota Surabaya dinilai baik, dengan klarifikasi transparansi variabel termasuk pada kategori baik dan sangat baik. Berdasarkan tipologi penilaian yang telah dilakukan sesuai klaster wilayah, Surabaya Selatan merupakan wilayah Surabaya dengan tingkat transparansi tertinggi dan mendapatkan label transparansi sangat baik (nilai indeks 83,365). Sedangkan Surabaya Barat merupakan wilayah Surabaya dengan tingkat transparansi terendah dan mendapatkan label transparansi baik (nilai indeks 74,881). Experimental Study of Single Stage Centrifugal Pump Characteristics and Cussons Friction Loss Apparatus
Water is a primary need for human life. Because of its important use, an integrated system was built consisting of pumps and pipes to distribute water. The phenomenon of energy loss is found in the process of distributing water using pumps and pipes. To understand the energy loss phenomenon that occurs, an experimental test is carried out on a piping installation. Fluid mechanics and turbomachinery laboratories have experimental test equipment in the form of CUSSONS friction loss in pipe apparatus with a single-stage centrifugal pump to study the energy loss phenomenon that occurs in piping installations. This test equipment is composed of two kinds of pipe materials, namely PVC and acrylic, with variations in pipe diameter of 0.75 and 1.0 inch, flow meters in the form of venturi and orifice, pipe fittings in the form of elbow 45◦ , long radius elbow 90◦ , short radius elbow 90◦ , a valve in the form of ball-valve and pump connected to the NEWMAN electric motor which has a power of 1.5 HP and a rotational speed of 2850 RPM. The pressure drop in the piping installation was measured using a mercury manometer, the increase in pump pressure was measured with a pressure gauge, and the current and voltage of the motor pump were measured using a clamp meter. The flow rate for the installation was varied between 10L/min to 55 L/min with an increase in the flow rate of 5 L/min for the data collection on straight-pipe line I, fittings, and ball valves, on straight-pipe line II the variation of discharge only reached 40 L/min, while the variation of discharge for the flow meters was from 10 L/min to 30 L/min with an increase in the flow rate of 2 L/min for the orifice and 4 L/min for the venturi. Based on the experimental test data, it was found that the loss coefficient value (Kl) for K90= 0.58, for K45= 0.38, KBV = 0.62, and KLRE= 0.611. Relative roughness (e/D) on pipe line I= 0.0043 and pipe line II = 0.024. The coefficient of discharge (Cd) on the venture-type flow meter Ce= 0.91 and Co= 0.72 at maximum discharge. Maximum pump efficiency (ηp) was 27.1% when the pump head= 18.79 m
Mapping the Potential and Quality of Limestone Rocks Using Remote Sensing Method (Study Case: Semanding, Sub District Tuban)
The mine Exploration is an activity to find the points where an area could be mined and the area is still mined, for economic value. One of the most important in the work of mining is the calculation of the estimated potential of mine. Estimation of the potential mine played an important role in determining the amount of work the quality, production, how the mining is done, even to estimate the time required to do the mining. With the advancement of technology in the field of remote sensing, computation of the vast potential of the estimation and the quality of limestone can be done using high resolution satellite image data one is Quickbird. Satellite image data can be used for a wide range of research, such as the mapping of rock quality in relation to the exploration of natural resources. Vast potential of Cretaceous rocks in Semanding sub district is dominated by the high potential of an area of 5480,479 ha. To a limestone rock quality obtained based on limestone CaCO3 levels, the most highs quality i.e. have levels of CaCO3 amounted to 6.81%
The Barrier and Driver Factors of Building Information Modelling (BIM) Adoption in Indonesia: A Preliminary Survey
Building information modeling (BIM) changes institutions, businesses, business models, education, workplaces and careers. For an asset owner the implementation of BIM should seen as a business change program that can potentially impact their ‘value proposition’. BIM can enable strategic business outcomes. BIM is useful for geometric modelling of a building's performance and it can assist in the management of construction projects. The construction industry in the world has recognized the benefits of BIM, therefore many large projects in developed countries have used BIM. In Indonesia, lately BIM has received more attention from construction industry players, even the Indonesian government through the public works agency issued guidelines for BIM adoption in 2018 with reference to developed country references such as Singapore. Many benefits can be obtained from the implementation of BIM, but the level of BIM adoption in Indonesia is still low. Thus, it warrants a study such as the present to determine what are the actual barriers that hamper its implementation and what are the driving factors that could enhance its pace of implementation in the Indonesian construction industry. This paper is an initial stage of the research to determine the barriers and driving factors of building information modelling (BIM) adoption in Indonesia. Following the variable identification from the literature, a preliminary survey involving eleven experts were conducted to verify several variables that have been identified from the literature to be used for the questionnaire survey. According to the experts’ opinion, it was found that 16 variables were considered relevant to measure the barriers of BIM adoption in Indonesia and 18 variables were considered relevant to measure the driving factors of BIM Adoption in Indonesia. The three most relevant barriers BIM adoption in Indonesia attributes were also determined according to the experts’ opinion, that are (1) Lack of BIM expert; (2) Lack of understanding about BIM and its benefits; (3) Resistance to change. Automatic Self-checkout System Using SURF, Brute Force Matcher, and RFID for Payment Process Optimization at Supermarket
A long queue is common at a conventional supermarket. It is caused by inability of cashier to handle the task. Cashier could have an inconsistent performance, untrained skill, and fatigue. In addition, odd price tags could engage unnecessary conversation in giving change. This resulted on the service provided to be longer. The current solution for this problem is Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and debit card usage. As per our survey at local supermarket, the usage of RFID could extend cashier service by up to five minutes fifteen seconds for the purchase of six test goods, meanwhile the cash took up to three minutes 23 seconds. Intelligent self-checkout system has been proposed but requires a high-end graphics card. In this study, we propose an automatic self-checkout system based on Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF), brute force matcher, and RFID for payment process optimization at supermarket. The system consists of an image scanner, a conveyor set which moves the customer’s goods into scanning area. After the goods is detected, customer pay the displayed price using RFID card. Analysis of Song Popularity in Business Digital Music Streaming for Increasing Quality Using Kohonen SOM Algorithm
Consumption of digital music services has grown dramatically in recent years. There is an increase in music streaming consumption from 2015 to 2016, which is 76.4%. One of the most popular music streaming services, Spotify, has experienced an increase in customers from year to year. This increase enables businessmen / music producers to increase their business profits by analyzing music / songs to find out the audio attributes that make the song enjoyable for many people. Processing and analysis data are using Kohonen SOM Algorithm. The function is to find out which audio attribute groups are most liked by Spotify users where a good music is a music that can be used as a therapy. The result is LR = 0.1, PLR = 0.9, and epoch = 70 - 500, it can be concluded that cluster 2 is the cluster that has the most number of streams with 27 songs where the smallest DBI value is obtained at epoch = 200. Thus, with the statistic analysis, the obtained information is; it is expected that businessman / music producers can increase their business profits by improving their music quality that focus on songs with modes = 0 (Minor) and loudness feature
Efek Pemanasan Pra-kompaksi Dan Sinter Terhadap Sifat Kuat Tekan Komposit Al/SiC
Telah dilakukan penelitian efek pemanasan pra kompaksi pada matrik Al dan sintering terhadap densitas dan kuat tekan komposit Al/SiC yang dibuat dengan metode metalurgi serbuk. Pembuatan komposit Al/SiC diawali dengan memanaskan matrik Al pra-kompaksi pada temperatur 40°C, 60°C dan 80°C dalam waktu 1 jam, kompaksi secara mekanik dan disinter pada temperatur 400°C, 500°C, dan 600°C. Guna meningkatkan kehomogenan tekanan saat kompaksi diseluruh bagian komposit digunakan zinc stearate yang tidak reaktif dan mudah menguap. Identifikasi fasa dan morfologi dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat X-rays Difractometry (XRD) dan Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Densitas dan porositas diukur dengan metode Archimedes dan kuat tekan diuji dengan alat Torsee Universal Testing Machine. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemanasan pra-kompaksi pada matrik Al hingga temperatur 60 oC dan temperatur sinter hingga 500 oC dapat meningkatkan nilai densitas dan kuat tekan komposit Al/SiC yang dibuat dengan metode metalurgi serbuk. Pemanasan sinter dapat menimbulkan fasa baru Al2O3-γ pada bidang kontak permukaan Al – SiC yang dapat memperkuat ikatan antar muka dan mengurangi porositas sehingga densitas dan kuat tekan meningkat
