Techno-economic Analysis in the Modification of 100 TEUs Container Carrier by Using LNG as Dual Fuel System
Indonesia is no longer known as an oil exporter country but Indonesia has a large deposit of natural gas. This situation will bring the conversion from using fuel oil to gas. It will also support IMO Regulation such as MARPOL 73/78 Annex VI Tier III which was stringent in the regulation to bring the world to achieve near zero emission level. One of the methods to comply with IMO tier III is using gas as a fuel. Therefore, the ship efficiency can be overcome by two aspects simultaneously, cheaper and cleaner gas as marine engine fuel. In this paper, LNG as fuel will be applied to 100 TEUs Container Carrier which is consider several technical aspects when the existing ship is modified so that natural gas can be used safely and well. Things to consider in this LNG re-design are; the volume of tank, bunkering station system, and the Gas Valve Unit (GVU). In addition, this design will also analyze the costs required to modify the vessel so that it can use dual fuel (MDO and LNG) as well as cost comparison when using single fuel (MDO)

PERANCANGAN INTERFACE BOX DROPPER SEBAGAI SORTING BOX PADA MESIN ROBOTIC POUCH CASE PACKER
Abstrak - Proses produksi di perusahaan industri nasional bahkan multinasional tidak sepenuhnya dijalankan menggunakan mesin otomatis. Salah satu contohnya pada perusahaan industri customer dari PT. IRA dimana proses pengepakan atau packaging pouch kedalam kardus masih dikerjakan secara manual menggunakan tenaga manusia. Maka dari itu, dibuatlah sebuah mesin Robotic Pouch Case Packer yang memiliki beberapa sistem untuk menjalankan proses secara sequence. Pada penerapannya di lapangan, interface antara operator dengan mesin masih dirasa rumit. Hal ini disebabkan terlalu sederhananya tampilan untuk memonitoring sistem yang bekerja. Sebagai solusi dari permasalahan tersebut, terciptalah sebuah inovasi untuk membuat tampilan interface pada sistem yang mudah dipahami dan dikontrol oleh operator. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya beberapa tampilan halaman yang mampu mengimplementasikan sistem secara detail. Beberapa tampilan tersebut diantaranya; simulasi proses, delay setting timer, database dan alarm massage error. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis akan fokus membahas mengenai tahap penyortiran box pada Box Dropper system. Tahap ini merupakan tahap awal dalam penyuplaian box kedalam mesin Robotic Pouch Case Packer. Terdapat 3 bagian utama sebagai penyusun sistem ini diantaranya; infeed modular conveyor, Box Dropper, dan box buffer conveyor.Β Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah memahami secara rinci sistem yang terdapat pada Box Dropper serta terealisasinya sebuah interface yang kompleks untuk mempermudah operator dalam memonitoring Box Dropper system
The Antioxidant Activities and Phenolic Content of Improved Soybean Seeds Varieties of Different Grain Sizes
Tempe and tofu are the main product of soybean commonly consumed as a daily food for the people of Indonesia. So far, soybean is well known to be a source of protein. Indeed, soybean contains secondary metabolites resulting in antioxidant activities. Antioxidants would nullify the negative effect of reactive oxygen and, as a result, could improve and maintain human health. Improvement of awareness of Indonesian people that soybean is good for human health promotion and maintenance could be a trigger to enlarge the soybean production area and increase national soybean production. The present study was undertaken to evaluate the total phenolic content and antioxidant activity of some improved soybean varieties. The observation was done in three replicates, and the standard deviation was made. The results of the present study showed that total phenolic content and antioxidant activity, as measured by ABTS and DPPH, varied among the soybean seeds tested. The variability of total phenolic content and antioxidant activity was not caused by different seed sizes but by the different genetic background encoding for other phenotypes than the seed size. In general, antioxidant activity is positively correlated to total phenolic content. Demas and Tanggamus showed significantly higher antioxidant activity compared to the rest, including imported soybean. Therefore, Demas and Tanggamus could be used as better food sources for human health
Comparative Study of KNN, SVM and Decision Tree Algorithm for Studentβs Performance Prediction
Students who are not-active will affect the number of students who graduate on time. Prevention of not-active students can be done by predicting student performance. The study was conducted by comparing the KNN, SVM, and Decision Tree algorithms to obtain the best predictive model. The model making process was carried out by the following steps: data collecting, pre-processing, model building, comparison of models, and evaluation. The results show that the SVM algorithm has the best accuracy in predicting with a precision value of 95%. The Decision Tree algorithm has a prediction accuracy of 93% and the KNN algorithm has a prediction accuracy value of 92%
Pengembangan Pemodelan Harga Beras di Wilayah Indonesia Bagian Barat dengan Pendekatan Clustering Time Series
Beras merupakan bahan pokok pangan bagi masyarakat Indonesia dan hampir 90% masyarakat Indonesia mengonsumsi beras. Pada awal tahun 2018 harga beras mengalami peningkatan. Kenaikan harga beras ini jika terus dibiarkan akan menyebabkan terjadinya inflasi yang berdampak pada melambatknya pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional serta dampak negatif lainnya. Dalam rangka perumusan kebijakan pengendalian inflasi maka data dan informasi terkait proyeksi keadaan pasar sangat dibutuhkan. Oleh karena itu, pemodelan harga beras di Indonesia sangat perlu dilakukan. Sebagian besar sentra beras di Indonesia berasal dari provinsi di wilayah Indonesia bagian barat, sehingga pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengembangan model harga beras untuk wilayah Indonesia bagian barat dengan menggunakan pendekatan clustering time series. Pemodelan dilakukan dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, pemodelan ARIMA pada level provinsi, pemodelan ARIMA pada level klaster dan evaluasi keakuratan model dengan menggunakan MAPE. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan model ARIMA level klaster memiliki keakuratan yang lebih tinggi daripada level provinsi.
ANALYSIS OF FORMALDEHYDE COMPOSITION EFFECT ON THE MORPHOLOGY OF POLY (UREA-FORMALDEHYDE) MICROCAPSULE CONTAINING LINSEED OIL
Abstract β Microcapsules technology for smart materials application were developed recently years. One of the smart materials was self-healing coating. The microcapsules containing healing agent are dispersed into a polymeric matrix to form self-healing composite. Additionally, the microcapsules might be incorporated into paint for coating application. The main idea of self-healing coating is to design smart self-healing systems with inherent ability of self-repair. Many studies that have been done proposed several healing stimulus mechanisms. Commonly the capsules shell composed from organic polymers, such as urea-formaldehyde, polyurethane, and melamine formaldehyde. In this research, poly (urea-formaldehyde) (PUF) microcapsules containing linseed oil were synthesized by in-situ polymerization method. The obtained microcapsules were analyzed based on parameter of formaldehyde to urea mass ratio (2, 3, 4, and 5). The result show that the increase of formaldehyde to urea ratio increased the microcapsules shell thickness.
