    Get PDF

    Get PDF
The new policy issued by PT Pupuk Indonesia regarding the change of the responsible party for the procurement and the distribution of subsidized NPK fertilizers affected the subsidy allocation for PT Petrokimia Gresik, as the only company to conduct the procurement and distribution of the subsidized NPK fertilizer. It is now partially charged to the other holding members such as PT Kujang Cikampek, PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja, and PT Pupuk Kaltim. Also, all members of PT Pupuk Indonesia should face the reduction of subsidy allocation from Indonesia Government. PT Petrokimia Gresik also have to deal with Phonska V project plan in order to increase capacity of NPK fertilizer. Those policies are most significantlty impactful to the decrease of subsidy allocation in West Java. Besides, Central Java, a branch area of PT Petrokimia Gresik which has the biggest number of total capacity and fixed cost, should reevaluate the number and location of the buffer warehouse. This paper is aimed to explain the methodology using Mixed integer Linear Programming (MILP) in determining the optimal number and location of buffer warehouse in West Java and Central Java in response to the policies and the project plan. Firstly, the distribution system of NPK subsidized fertilizer are described. Next, previous researches about MILP and forecasting method applied in distribution system problem is explained. After that, related data and several conditions that are applied based on actual situation are shown. It can be deducted that MILP is an optimal method for the evaluation as it fits to the characteristic and condition of distribution system in PT Petrokimia Gresik

Automatic Extraction of Interior Orientation Data in Aerial Photography Using Image Matching Method

    Get PDF
The Interior Orientation is a set of parameters that have been determined to transform the coordinates of the camera photo. The pixel coordinates of Fiducial Mark in the base image (Search window) are obtained automatically. The template of the fiducial mark is designed on single-frame aerial photographs. The concept of photogrammetry with Image Matching techniques is applied in the programming works. The Normalized Cross-Correlation (NCC) method coupling with the Area Based Matching technique is precisely used in the automatic computation for measuring the coordinate of fiducial marks. Herein, three templates are provided for this calculation. The coordinates from the manual rectification are employed. The results reveal that the third template is more accurate than the others with the RMSE value of 0.0066. The accuracy regarding the results of manual rectification depends on the operator when they are identifying for pixel values

    Get PDF
Success in completing projects on time is one of the essential goals, both for the owner and the contractor. XYZ Group, a holding of several companies in the real estate, has delayed more than 53% of housing projects. The impact of delays is time overrun, cost overrun, deviations in the quality, disputes, negative social consequences, arbitration, and idling resources. This paper studied a list of construction delay causes gathered from the literature. It starts by exploring factors causing project delays from the research and finding 48 causative factors, followed by distributing preliminary questionnaires to expert respondents to obtain 23 causes for housing project delays. The primary survey held on 55 respondents consisting of technical directors, project managers, project engineers, quality control, logistics, and project planners. Relative Importance Index (RII) calculated, and according to the highest values, the top five delay causes of housing projects are determined. Objectives of project delays from the owner and contractor are "Late issuing of approval of design documents by the owner," and "Changing government political/economic situation or policy." The cause of project delays from the owner is "Shortage of labour from the contractor," "Changes to work completed by the owner," and "Failure of the contractor to complete the work." Meanwhile, "Slow delivery of resources required by the contractor," "Changes in details by the owner," "Rework due to quality and final results by the contractor," is the cause of project delays from the contractor

Operational Risk Management Design In The Indonesia Mining Growth Program (P3I) Using House Of Risk Method

    Get PDF
The Indonesia Mining Growth Program (P3I) is a development project activity for nickel Mining Enterprise and Processing Plant in the "X" Region in Sulawesi. This research will design a risk management framework for P3I by implementing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). In this study, the method is used to analyze the potential operational risks that exist in P3I namely the House of Risk (HOR) model. The results of the identification of risk events in the operational business processes of P3I found 25 risk events divided into each business process, namely 8 risk events in the mine planning process, 7 risk events in the design implementation process, 8 risk events in the production process, 1 risk event in the product delivery process and 1 risk event in the process of returning waste from Processing Plant. Thus, the results of the identification of risk triggers (risk agents) found 23 risk causes (risk agents). The result of the Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) recapitulation is an output calculation based on the HOR model phase 1, there are 7 top-ranked risk agents since it is considered to be able to hamper the company's goals. Thus, in determining the preventive actions, 17 preventive actions were obtained, which were then put into the HOR phase 2 model to rank the most effective prevention measures based on cost and resources

FLOATING HOUSE TECTONICS ON LAKE TEMPE: BETWEEN TRADITION AND RESILIENCE

    Get PDF
The tectonic knowledge of the people who live in floating houses comes from the understanding of the tradition of building land on stilt houses because the fishing communities who live in floating homes also live on land. However, the climatic conditions above the water are extreme and different from the ground, causing the tectonics of the floating house to adapt to the climatic conditions on the water so that the floating house has resistance to natural disasters on the water. The problem of this research is that there is a change in the tradition of building from traditional mainland stilt houses to floating houses, thus creating a unique tectonic expression in floating homes. This study aims to reveal the tectonics of floating homes based on the tradition of building and surviving on the water. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with an ethnic-architecture approach. The results showed that the tectonics of the floating house originating from the mainland stilt house tradition underwent changes in several parts, especially in the lower and middle structures. However, it does not change the concept of Bugis society's cosmology. Extreme climatic factors influence the formation of floating house tectonics. For the resilience of houses on the water, a structural system is needed to anticipate climatic conditions

THE STUDY OF PEDESTRIAN’S CONVENIENCE AND PRIVACY TOWARDS PANDANARAN CROSSING BRIDGE CONDITION

    Get PDF
One of the urban infrastructures that reflect the development of a city is a Crossing Bridge. If a city is more developed, the activity of human movement between regions will increase. Crossing Bridge, which is one of the Street Furnitures, functions to ease the people's mobility safely without distracting the flow of existing vehicles. In fact, Crossing Bridge have not been optimally utilized by pedestrians, it can be seen by pedestrian behavior that is applied when passing through the highway by jumping over the barrier. As happened on the Pandanaran road section in the city of Semarang, this behavior causes the bridge to malfunction and brings up further phenomena such as stairs changing into seats and circulating bridges being occupied by homeless people. The purpose of this research is to uncover the connection between the privacy attributes and pedestrian convenience, with the setting conditions of the Pandanaran Crossing Bridge in Semarang, by using a quantitative paradigm approach. The results of the questionnaire in closed form and the Behavioral Mapping method will then be analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques, until it will finally be revealed that the lack of property strength on the Crossing Bridges, which is not able to meet the pedestrians' attribute needs, causes some people choose to cross directly

    THE LOST GARDEN OF ACEH

    Get PDF
In the seventeenth century AD, the Sultanate of Aceh under the leadership of Sultan Iskandar Thani made a manuscript entitled Bustanussalatin. This manuscript contains the story of the creation of the universe, the relationship between God and man, the lineage of the sultans of Aceh, as well as a small section about the royal garden called Taman Ghairah. The existence of this garden is still questionable, but scholars who research this garden associate three buildings nearby the former royal palace as a remnant of this Garden. This paper questions whether this garden was built or not and when it was built and the loss of this garden. Through literature review and archival research, this paper tries to trace the presence and disappearance of this garden. The Bustanussalatin manuscript provides information on the development of this garden during the reign of Iskandar Thani. Meanwhile, researchers believe that this garden was already built during the Iskandar Muda era. Portuguese maps provide information that this garden did not exist in the sixteenth century, while a map of the Netherlands in the nineteenth century before the start of the Dutch Aceh War, also does not depict this garden at all. This research proposes the idea that this garden was likely built during the reign of Iskandar Muda and was lost before the Dutch military aggression to Aceh

    Get PDF
Applied physics can be involved and integrated with various fields of science. Sonic bloom technology by utilizing sound waves in fact can increase plant growth. This research is the development of the audio bioharmonic (ABH) device to create an efficient, practical, and easy-to-use for farmers. The design and manufacturing of an ABH device based on an Arduino UNO Atmega 328p with manipulated frequencies have been done. The original sound source of Garengpung (Dundubia Manifera) was manipulated around the range of 3000-5000 Hz and the frequency spectrum was calculated using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis. The results show that the peak frequencies obtained are 3241, 4167, and 4963 Hz as the sound sources of mp3 files. Furthermore, the ABH device was validated by comparing the results of the FFT analysis of the sound source of the mp3 files with the sound recording of the ABH device. As the result, the deviations of the peak frequency obtained are 259, 140, and 172 Hz. And the last, the sound pressure levels (SPL) of audio bioharmonic output at different frequencies are measured using a sound level meter in real-time for 30 minutes. All frequencies have stable SPL at 80-100 dB

Accelerated Numerical Method for Singularly Perturbed Differential Difference Equations

    Get PDF
In this paper, accelerated finite difference method for solving singularly perturbed delay reaction-diffusion equations is presented. First, the solution domain is discretized. Then, the derivatives in the given boundary value problem are replaced by finite difference approximations and the numerical scheme that provides algebraic systems of equations is obtained, which can easily be solved by Thomas algorithm. The consistency, stability and convergence of the method have been established. To increase the accuracy of our established scheme we used Richardson's extrapolation techniques. To validate the applicability of the proposed method, four model examples have been considered and solved for different values of perturbation parameters and mesh sizes. The numerical results have been presented in tables and graphs to illustrate; the present method approximates the exact solution very well. Moreover, the present method gives better accuracy than the existing numerical methods mentioned in the literature
