Analysis of Factors Causing The Delay of the Storage Tank Project Using Fault Tree Analysis
The Storage Tank Project is a national vital object that supports the operational reliability program of the Fuel Oil distribution. But there was a delay in the implementation of work by 31.35%. This research purpose to identify the factors and indicators that cause delays in the storage tank construction project. This research method uses Fault Tree Analysis. Factors and indicators are FTA Event inputs which are then illustrated by FTA diagrams. FTA using Boolean algebra formulation results in a probability value for each Event.Objek research is in the construction Storage tanks in Surabaya. Work items in the research are Foundation work with a weight of 26.50% and Construction Work with a weight of 36.94%. From the results of this research there are two indicators with the largest probability value. First, the Soil Data Report is not suitable for foundation work with a value of 0.968 in the owner's area. Therefore, the owner must be more careful in making design documents, especially on foundation work. Second, the lack of manpower with a probability value of 0.912 in construction work in the Contractor's area. in this case the contractor must ensure that the manpower has the required qualifications. Especially in Welder certification
Influence of Façade Configuration on Thermal Performance of Residential Unit of Typical Walk-up Flats in Surabaya
Flat design has evolved and taken many shapes and forms. Most of the arrangements are arranged in a double-load layout where the units are positioned face to face along the corridor. Another type is two single-loaded flats that are configured to face the courtyard. Building façade also varies from those with shaded surfaces to those with minimum sun protection. Modification in design clearly has an impact on the thermal performance of the buildings. The aim of the study is to investigate the facade configuration on the thermal performance of the building. This study uses simulation software, namely, Design Builder, to predict the thermal performance of the buildings. Several variants of window areas, sun shading, balconies are arranged to explore their effects on thermal performance. Flat with yard selected as a reference model. The results showed that the smaller the window area and the greater coverage given to the window with a shading device, combined with the balcony, can provide a decrease in air temperature up to 0.57 ⁰C, with a reduction in cooling degree hours percentage of 36.97% comparing to the reference model
Phytochemicals and Antioxidant of Seaweed Tea Padina Australis
seaweed contains bioactive compounds that can be used to support human health. One of the seaweeds that are widely found in Indonesia is seaweed / brown algae. An example of brown algae, one of which is Padina australis. Padina australis is a seaweed that contains many bioactive compounds, such as alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and antioxidants. However, Padina australis is not widely applied and used in processed food products. So in seaweed research, Padina australis is used as seaweed tea. In this study, Padina australis seaweed tea was carried out the difference in length of immersion with hot water and the treatment of immersion time is 0 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 15 minutes. The bioactive compounds studied are alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and antioxidant activity. The results showed that the difference in immersion time there are bioactive components in the form of phytomias contained in Padina australis tea, among others: alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, and saponins in each treatment (0 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 15 minutes). In the test the highest antioxidant activity on P4 treatment (15 minutes) was 47.7% and for the lowest on treatment P2 (5 minutes) by 44.8%
Produk Interior Modular Berbasis Budaya Nusantara Dengan Memanfaatkan Material Rotan Untuk Interior Cafe
The increasing population growth in the world, the more products needed to get through the day. Wood is the material most widely used to make a product. From time to time the use of this material becomes excessive and leads to environmental damage, this is because poor forest processing has disturbed the ecology of the forest and nature. Therefore, through this product, I invite people to switch to utilizing rattan where rattan itself has many advantages such as being more economical and easy to shape. Rattan is a material that is easily available, especially in Indonesia, it is natural because Indonesia itself is the largest producer of rattan in the world. The product to be designed is a set of furnitur that will be placed in the interior of a cafe. This is considered by the increasing trend of cafe developments, so I see a good opportunity to make interior products for cafes. The product design uses a modular design which is a design that consists of several separate modules that can be easily assembled and configured. Do not forget the concept of Nusantara Culture that you want to emphasize in this product, where local culture is often underestimated and uncool so that it is less respected. Through this product, it is hoped that it can inspire the public that the concept of Nusantara Culture can also be cool and competitive, both aesthetically which is unique / beautiful, as well as functionally
Early Chinese Settlements Adaptive Reuse as History and Activity Node at Lasem Living Museum
The concept of a living museum depicts Lasem – a multi-ethnic city known for its harmonious community – as a small city with diverse heritage nodes spreading across its plateau. However, the first settlements that became the prologue of Lasem’s history and development, are not being appreciated enough as it is now being used for swallow's nest production. Therefore, it is necessary to do a thoughtful conservation effort for the area of the early settlements, as one of the important nodes in Lasem. The reuse of heritage buildings and reactivation of the area into a place of activity that can support economic activities, social needs, and cultural sustainability for the people, will create more sustainable tourism for Lasem as an integrated living museum. Batik Tiga Negeri is Lasem’s distinctive fabric product and intangible heritage with an international reputation. The handmade creation involves endangered heritage: the elderly artists and the traditional Chinese architecture-influenced building which is used as the production house. Merging batik value into the adaptive reuse of early settlement buildings – which is also derived from traditional Chinese housing, will strengthen the most historical node while conserving important heritage elements, adding stronger bonds throughout Lasem as both a living museum and tourism destination
Controllable Core Size of Au@TiO2 through Al(NO3)3 Addition and Its Effects on DSSC Performance
It is known that plasmonic nanoparticles in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC) could enhance efficiency through improvement in light absorbance and electron dynamics. Herein we investigated various sizes of AuNP through spontaneous Al(NO3 )3 addition. Core-Shell Au@TiO2 was prepared with various Al(NO3 )3 concentrations of 0.25 mM, 0.5 mM, 0.75 mM and 1 mM. The Au@TiO2 volume fraction of 1% was further added to TiO2 photoanode. Based on the particle size analyzer (PSA) characteristics, the synthesized AuNP’s size was within a range of 34.62 nm – 139.5 nm. The highest efficiency of DSSC was obtained for the sample with the largest AuNP ’s diameter, i.e., 0.0313%, which is about three times higher than pristine DSSC. The increase in efficiency was in accord with Metallic Nanoparticle Boundary Element Method (MNPBEM) simulation, UV-vis spectroscopy, and Incident Photon to Current Conversion Efficiency (IPCE) analysis largest Au core diameter contributes to the strong absorbance and hence the short circuit curren

Digital Option Pricing Approach Using A Homotopy Perturbation Method
An option is a financial contract between buyers and sellers. The Black-Scholes equation is the most popular mathematical equation used to analyze the option pricing. The exact solution of the Black-Scholes equation can be approached by several approximation methods, one of the method is a Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM). The simplest type of option, digital options were analyzed using the HPM. The digital option pricing approach using the HPM is in a power series form, which in this paper is presented the solution in the fourth power. This solution is compared with the exact solution of the Black-Scholes equation for digital options. The results show that the approach using HPM is very accurate

NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF EFFECTS OF NUMBER OF BEDS AND PRESENCE OF AEROSOL FLOW FROM SANITATION MACHINE TO AIR CIRCULATION IN HOSPITAL ISOLATION ROOM OF COVID-19 PATIENTS
Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) becomes a serious attention because the virus can spread from human-to-human rapidly. By the first case at December 2019, Covid-19 was making the outbreak all over the world just in few months, especially since February 2020 until now. As a result, the pandemic makes hospital occupancy really high. Hospital must make strategy to make sure the isolation rooms are sterile. By knowing the best configuration for the isolation room and sanitizing machine for spreading disinfectant aerosol, modelling can be used to minimize the high risk from the virus inside the room, as the virus can be transmitted in the airborne. In this study, CFD modelling is used to answer this problem by modelling 3 rooms with different amount of beds. Room 1 contains of 2 beds, room 2 contains of 3 beds and room 3 contains of 6 beds. SST k-ε equation is used to model the flows. It is observed that the room with 6 beds has the biggest turbulence kinetic energy and high turbulence will be the best effective way to distribute aerosol from sanitizer to entire room
