Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technology Acceptance Analysis Using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM)
The growth of an industry growth couldn’t be separated from technology development. Nowadays, technology development mostly affected by digitalization, which brought us to industry 4.0 era. The same thing also occurs in construction industry, although its development relatively slower than the growth in manufacturing industry. Construction technology, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), 3D printing, and robotic equipments, has been introduced to construction industry. BIM is defined as digital representation of physical and functional characteristics of a facility, forming a reliable basis for decisions during its life-cycle. However, in the end, technological development in Construction Industry depends on industry players’ readiness to accept and implement the most advance technology. This research’s focus is on BIM technology acceptance among players in Indonesia Construction Industry. The research will be conducted in Indonesia Construction Industry, data will be collected through questionnaires asked to the industry players, such as, consultants, project owners, and contractors who have already use BIM technology for their projects. The analysis will be conducted using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). TAM is a model which was developed to enhance our understanding about user acceptance of a technology, thus could enable technology designer and implementator to evaluate the system before it being implemented. The research’s result shows that Indonesia Construction Industry is able to accept BIM technology, the conclusion is taken because all the variables used in TAM has higher than 3 on 1 to 5 Likert scale. Path analysis also shows that Attitude Toward Usage variable do not affect Behavioral Intention variable. Direct, Indirect, and Total Effects analysis show that BIM technology acceptance is affected by Perceived of Usefulness. This result could be used as a basis to introduce BIM to new users, that people are more interested in its usefulness rather than ease of use variable
Analysis of the Effects from Adding Propeller Boss Cap Fins to Skewed Propeller Performance With CFD Methods
Fuel accounts for the majority of the ship's operating costs. Increased propeller efficiency can help to reduce fuel usage. The higher the efficiency, the less energy is wasted. Ships with high propeller efficiency may be able to provide more thrust while using less fuel. Propeller Boss Cap Fin (PBCF) installation is one of the solutions for improving propeller efficiency that is ideal for a submarine. PBCF may lower the submarine's energy usage, allowing it to recharge its batteries less frequently. According to certain studies, PBCF can boost propeller efficiency by 7% while lowering noise levels by nearly 6 decibels (dB). The impact of PBCF phase lag variation on skewed propeller performance and flow will be the subject of this article. CFD simulation using phase lags of 0, 12.86, 25.72, and 38.58 will be used in the study. The simulation shows that PBCF can improve propeller efficiency while lowering propeller torque. Even though all phase lag modifications show a reduction in propeller thrust. On its hub vortex, they also reveal the existence of distraction.

The research used the questionnaires that were distributed between twenty respondents who are the consumers of that company. The survey analyzed the consumers’ needs of houses and the ways for improving the quality of services. The outcomes of the study display that the top priority for customer satisfaction, such as name the suitability of the project report with actual conditions in the field; Ability to complete within deadlines; Service level after completion; Application of work procedures and instructions for completing projects; Project workers' expertise in using equipment in the field; Level of trust in communication follow-up; Discipline and compliance with agreed project schedules and Fulfillment of construction functions. While the technical response given by the company to increase consumer satisfaction are Monitoring the results of reports with the field by Project Control; Training of contractor field supervisors; Monitoring the communication system periodically; Training in the use of work equipment; Periodic S curve monitoring; Improved technical communication between the person in charge with the representative of the employer; Periodic SOP briefing; and Giving reward and punishment to Project Managers and Field Teams
SIMULATION OF JOINT STRENGTH OF SINGLE LAP JOINT OF COMPOSITE PLATES BASED ON VARIATIONS OF PLATE THICKNESS AND OVERLAP LENGTH
In this study, finite element simulation of joint strength of single lap joint of composite plates based on variations of joint thickness and overlap length is presented by using ANSYS software. In the simulation, plate thickness and overlap length of the joint structure are varied. Based on the variations of plate thickness and overlap length, it is found that the largest joint strength is obtained at the values of plate thickness and overlap length of 2 mm and 55 mm, respectively. Also, it appears that the applied loading type will affect to the simulation results
A Systematic Literature Review of The Role of Ontology in Modeling Knowledge in Software Development Processes
Ontology in software development is explained as presenting the properties of things within a domain knowledge and how they are interrelated to each other by defining a set of notions and taxonomies that exemplify the knowledge. It is used to deter- mine the ambiguity in the software requirements specification. Though averred to be useful, the software engineering communities are still unfamiliar with the role of Ontology in modeling knowledge in software development processes. Moreover, not much has been known about the role of Ontology in software engineering processes. The objective is to map and explain the substantiation about the role of Ontology in Modelling Knowledge and the challenge faced by the software engineering team to understand how far ontology can help them determine the ambiguity in model- ing and software development processes. We have carried out a methodical review of the literature issued between 2012 and 2021 and recognized 150 publications that talk over the role of ontology in modeling knowledge in software development pro- cesses. This study conveyed and employed particular inclusion and exclusion criteria in bi-rounds to establish the utmost pertinent publications for our research objec- tive. The review acknowledged 22 applications that explain ontologies’ primary role in software development processes. However, our findings suggest ontology’s role in software engineering as a investigation background requires extra consideration. A further experimental result I needed to better understand the role of ontology in modeling knowledge in software development with quality requirements as well as self-organizing groups
