Catalytic Co-Cracking of Used Cooking Oil Methyl Ester and Polystyrene Waste for Gasoline-Rich Biofuel Over Mesoporous Al-MCM-41 Catalyst
Used cooking oil and packaging foam are typical waste materials that are abundantly available as household and fast food restaurant waste with high energy content, thus representing potential feedstock for conversion into an alternative energy source. In this study, catalytic co-cracking was examined at 300°C in atmospheric pressure to generate fuel products with gasoline-like properties from a mixture of used cooking oil biodiesel and polystyrene pyrolysis oil. Mixture of ceramic powder and Al-MCM-41 was used as catalyst in comparison to a pristine mesoporous aluminosilicate material. The product distribution of produced biofuel wes analyzed by gas chromatography – mass spectrometry. Experimental results exhibit that catalytic co-cracking process generated up to 64,6 – 67,2% yield of liquid hydrocarbon. The product distribution and the quality of the resulting biofuel were significantly affected by Si/Al ratio of the catalyst. Pristine Al-MCM-41 with lower Si/Al ratio was more favored for the enrichment of gasoline range fraction (C7–C12) which give 88,98% yield, while Al-MCM-41/ceramic with higher Si/Al ratio only give 32,84% yield of gasoline fraction. Moreover, lower oxygenate compound with better stability of biofuel was also obtained using pristine Al-MCM-41 catalyst. The produced biofuel blend by both catalysts indicated promising physical properties including higher calorific value (53,2 and 52,4 MJ/kg) and higher-octane number (RON 99,8 and 95,5) than commercial gasoline
Planning & Controlling Tourism Landscape Design Project using Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) Schedulling
Project Management must meet the performance criteria of timeliness and budget control agreed between the project owner, contractor and supervisor. However, the level of uncertainty in the project implementation process is very high and causes delays and over budgeting. The Village Nongkojajar is a Proposed Integrated Agropark Project as a result of the revitalization of the non-productive land of the Horticultural Seed Farm owned by the Government of East Java Province. The Landscape Architecture Project has a Creative Value Chain which is divided into Creation - Implementation - Management. Therefore scheduling and controlling the project becomes important in order to to estimate working time and the project remains in accordance with the predetermined project timeline and whenever corrective action is needed. The relevance of Project Management in this research is that with high project problems, require a good planning process. The Project can be completed quickly than the specified time and more cost effective. Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) is one method for completing and preparing projects that focus on the resource requirements for implementing projects by adding project buffers, feeding buffers and resource buffers. By analyzing using CCPM, researchers can look for optimization and control in implementing project scheduling

Urban Resilience: How to Apply in the Planning and Design Practice?
The topic of urban resilience has been gain much interest in the field of sustainability yet the use of the concept particularly for urban planning and design is still in debate. This paper searches for the gap in the use of the urban resilience concept for planning and design practice. The resilience terminology itself emerges and is known from the socio-ecological perspective, therefore the development of the terminology into the built environment issue needs to be appropriately translated. This paper aims to explore the advocacy of how urban resilience should be put into the discourse of planning and design practice, especially the standing of the concept within planning theory. The study is conducted through a literature review with objectives among others: (1) to get insight into what is urban resilience concept and how it has been used in the context of the urban and regional system? and (2) to elaborate on the potential of urban resilience concept be used in the planning and design practice through the perspective of planning theory. The initial result of the study concludes that the urban resilience concept has the potential to reframe the perspective of planning theory that has been applied nowadays, particularly the theory of planning and theory in planning with the emergence of so-called transformative and recovery planning. Both planning approaches must be considered the urban system as the object of planning
Re-Design Layout and Allocation of Raw Material Warehouses Using Simulation Methods to Minimize the Handling Cost from Port to Warehouses
The high cost of raw materials handling from the port to the warehouses at PT. Petrokimia Gresik has encouraged this research to find solutions to reduce costs in raw material unloading activities. The location of factories and raw material warehouses that are separated from each other, the number of warehouses that are not yet connected with conveyor belts as well as the diverse types of raw materials become its own challenges in operating unloading activities to be more efficient. The layout and allocation of raw materials in the existing warehouses creates high cost of raw materials handling because slow moving raw materials are close to the production location, while fast moving raw materials are far from the production location. In addition, the differences in the existing unloading methods also affect the cost of raw materials unloading, the use of vessel cranes and dump trucks will increase costs, otherwise the use of conveyor belts will minimize the cost of raw materials handling. This research is important to find the layout and allocation of raw materials that have the most efficient handling costs. The steps in this study include (1) data collecting and processing; (2) making conceptual and simulation models, (3) verification and validation tests; (4) developing alternative scenarios; (5) running simulations based on alternative scenarios; (6) comparing scenarios using anova test and cost and benefit analysis. The simulation is done using Arena 14.0 software. The simulation results show that the re-design layout and allocation of 5 warehouses in Factory 2A and Factory 2B is the best alternative scenario. This scenario is proven to be able to minimize the cost of raw materials handling with savings of Rp. 10.958.028.455 per year with an ROI of 108% and a Payback Period of 0,48 years
IoT-based Automatic Fish Pond Control System
Aquaculture is a potential sector to be developed by the people of Indonesia considering that Indonesia's territory is dominated by the sea. Based on data released by the Directorate General of Aquaculture in 2015, the level of fish consumption projected increase up to 54.49 kg/capita/year. One important factor influencing the success of aquaculture is water quality. Some physical parameters to describe water quality include temperature, degree of acidity, dissolved oxygen and turbidity. The case of the death of thousands of fish in Cirebon due to hot temperatures reaching 36 degrees Celsius in November 2015 is one proof that monitoring and control of pond water quality has not been done properly. It will cause huge losses for fisheries. With research and development methods researcher design a tool called SENDAL IKAN. This tool has 7 sensors that can control water quality in fish ponds in real time from phone and can activate automatic responses directly and through applications on mobile phones if there is an indication that the water quality is outside normal limits. That way fish farmers will be easier to control and will not be too late to handle problems related to fish pond water quality
