    Patrol Ship Design to Guard the Natuna Seas

    Natuna is one of the regencies in the Riau Archipelago Province, the area of Natuna Regency is 224,684.59 km2 with a land area of 2,000.85 km2 and an ocean area of 222,683.74 km2. According to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Natuna occupies the first position for the purpose of exporting fishery products from the SKPT location (Integrated Marine and Fishery Centers in Small Islands and Border Areas), namely marine fisheries resources reaching more than 1 million tons per year. The extent of Natuna waters and the large potential of existing capture fisheries resources cause the Natuna waters to be included in the Fisheries Management Area (WPP 711) which is prone to illegal fishing activities. It has been proven recently that in the waters of North Natuna there are coast guard ships from foreign countries escorting fishing vessels belonging to their countries that are carrying out illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing activities. The purpose of this research is to design a patrol ship to carry out security missions around the Natuna waters. The method used in this design is the Parent Design Approach method. This method is known in designing ships, namely by taking a comparison ship that has the same characteristics as the ship to be designed. The main dimensions of the ship obtained in this final project are Lwl = 50.2 m, B = 9.32 m, H = 4.45 m, T = 3.5 m, Vs (max) = 25 Knots, Crew = 40 Indonesian navy. Armaments used on this ship are Oto-Melara 76/62SR 76 mm, Oerlikon Millennium 35 mm, RWS Machine Gun, and SS1-V1 Kal hand rifle. 5.56 mm

    Pembangunan Grha Padmanaba diperkirakan akan menimbulkan dampak terhadap kinerja lalu lintas di sekitarnya. Jumlah siswa pada saat operasional akan berjumlah 765 siswa, sehingga pembangunan Grha Padmanaba termasuk kategori wajib Analisis Dampak Lalu Lintas (Andalalin). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kinerja lalu lintas di sekitar daerah pembangunan, memprediksi bangkitan dan tarikan yang terjadi, dan memprediksi dampak yang ditimbulkan. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu dengan pendekatan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 (MKJI, 1997). Luaran yang digunakan dari MKJI 1997 adalah tundaan dan derajat kejenuhan, dimana tundaan dan derajat kejenuhan digunakan untuk melihat kondisi eksisting lalu lintas di sekitar lokasi sebelum adanya pembangunan dan prediksi ketika operasional bangunan sekaligus prediksi 5 tahun kedepan. Hasil yang didapat dari analisa prediksi saat operasional Grha Padmanaba pada tahun 2022 adalah terjadi peningkatan derajat kejenuhan pada Simpang Tak Bersinyal McD Sudirman. Simpang Gramdeia, dan Simpang Terban. Kemudian prediksi saat kondisi 5 tahun mendatang terjadi peningkatan yang sangat signifikan pada simpang tersebut. Dari hasil analisis yang didapatkan kemudian disimpulkan beberapa rekomendasi untuk meminimalisir kepadatan yang terjadi akibat operasional Grha Padmanaba

    Analisis Evaluasi Waste Management pada Proyek Konstruksi Gedung di Kota Surabaya

    Dalam pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi, terdapat potensi dihasilkannya waste berupa sisa material. Untuk itu, beberapa proyek konstruksi telah melakukan upaya pencegahan dan pengelolaan limbah atau yang disebut waste management. Akan tetapi, dalam pelaksanaan waste management perlu diukur keefektifan untuk mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan stakeholder dalam mendukung green construction. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan evaluasi pelaksanaan waste management menggunakan metode statistik analisis deskriptif menggunakan nilai mean. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor tenaga kerja sudah bekerja efektif, sedangkan faktor material, metode, dan manajemen masih bekerja kurang efektif. Dari total 25 variabel yang valid dan reliabel, 13 variabel bekerja secara efektif dan 12 variabel bekerja kurang efektif. Variabel yang bekerja paling efektif adalah variabel ketentuan dalam kontrak untuk pekerja dalam urusan mengelola limbah konstruksi dan variabel yang bekerja paling kurang efektif adalah variabel memasang peralatan untuk mendaur ulang limbah konstruksi di lokasi proyek

    Factor analysis can be used to track the Gross Regional Domestic Product sector that affects the rate of economic growth. Based on data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of South Sulawesi Province, there was a significant increase from 2010 to 2021, for example, household consumption expenditure in 2010 was 100 and in 2021 it rose to 167 and that applies to all components of expenditure. This type of research uses a quantitative research approach. The data used is secular data obtained from the BPS publication of South Sulawesi Province, where the object of research is Gross Regional Domestic Product by expenditure with 8 sectors for the last 12 years, namely from 2010-2021. All expenditure component variables are eligible for factor analysis because they have met the data adequacy test and the data freedom test, and only 1 factor is formed. The expenditure component in GRDP has a very strong relationship because it has a value > 0.5 which can be said that the Expenditure Component consists of Household Consumption, LNPRT Consumption, Government Expenditure, Gross Fixed Capital Formation, Changes in Inventory, Foreign Exports, Foreign Imports, Inter-regional Net Exports affect the economic growth rate of South Sulawesi Province. The most dominant variable is Gross Fixed Capital Formation because it has a greater correlation value among other variables

    Adaptive Assessment and Guessing Detection Implementation

    Computerized adaptive testing (CAT) is a context-based adaptive assessment. However, the assessment result may not be valid because the examinee might cheat or guess the answers. Although there are many guessing detection methods, there are not many discussions about their implementation into CAT. Therefore, this paper presents an example of a modification of an existing software so the newly modified software can detect guessed answers and be able to select questions adaptively. The system can detect assuming behavior by recording the examinee’s answer time. Also, the designed system can like questions adaptively by connecting Fuzzy logic, which calculates what level the question should select for the next iteration. The system is responded well by elementary and college students. A total of 56.6% felt the system was straightforward to use. The detection methods can detect guessing behavior of about 73%. However, the system’s sensitivity is low if the method is forced to classify answers which answered in a long response time / general guessing. Nevertheless, when we limit the data classified within 10s response time (rapid-guessing), the method’s sensitivity rises to 68.78%

    Simple Investigation on the Optical Properties of Carbon Nanodots Using Lasers and a Lux Meter

    Carbon nanodots (Cdots) have excellent optical properties. This study aims to investigate scattering and absorption of Cdots via simple exposure of ultraviolet (UV)/violet, red, and green lasers. The experiment was conducted by preparing the Cdots from cajuput oil distillation wastes as the precursor. The solid wastes were dried under the sun, grounded into powder, filtered, and carbonized inside an oven at 250 oC for one hour. The carbonized powder was then mixed with distilled water, left for a night, and then filtered again so that the Cdots solution was obtained. Here, the mass of the precursor was varied. The Cdots samples were characterized using ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopies, and also particle size analyzer (PSA). The lasers were directly exposed to the Cdots samples. A digital lux-meter was used to measure the intensity of the lasers transmitted from the sample. The angle of the lux-meter was varied on a circular track. The sample was on the center of the track. The UV-Vis characterization showed two peaks at 217 nm and 270 nm, and a tail extending to the visible region. The PL characterization showed an intensity peak at 509.57 nm, which confirms the cyan luminescence of the Cdots. The PSA characterization indicated that the size of the Cdots was 1.04 nm. Moreover, at an angle of 0o, the UV wavelength was strongly absorbed by the Cdots in accordance with the UV-Vis characterization result. The intensity of the green laser also dominates as it was less absorbed and strongly scattered by the Cdots

    Abstrak—Set dalam tata panggung berfungsi untuk memberikan latar (background) dan lingkungan fisik untuk mendukung sebuah adegan. Set dilengkapi dengan pemandangan, furniture dan property lain yang merupakan area kerja dari para pemain. Menumbuhkan suasana yang sesuai agar mampu menceritakan kepada khalayak tentang waktu dan tempat kejadian itu terjadi. Seiring berkembangnya dunia teknologi, munculah inovasi baru yaitu virtual set. Virtual set merupakan teknologi yang didukung dengan teknik chroma keying atau biasa disebut chroma key. Melalui virtual set, melakukan produksi sebuah program acara dapat diterapkan lebih efisien. Proses yang dilakukan dimulai dari pembuatan desain interior studio yang menggambarkan sebuah acara yang akan dikonsep, setelah hasil desain diexport akan dilakukan pengujian di studio broadcasting MMB. System yang diusulkan untuk pengujian virtual set ini menggunakan metode trackless.Abstract—The set in the stage setting in the production of audio-visual content has a function as a background that supports the scene. A set generally has a panoramic landscape, furniture and other properties. The set in the stage setting is able to provide an atmosphere or mood that is in accordance with the scene so that it can tell about the time and place of events in the scene. In the advancement of broadcasting technology, an innovation emerged, namely virtual sets. By using virtual sets, the program production process can be done efficiently. The process of making a virtual set is done by making an interior design studio that describes an event that will be conceptualized, after the design results are exported, testing will be carried out at the MMB broadcasting studio. The proposed system for testing this virtual set uses the trackless method

    Coastal Community Development in Gender and Development Perspective: Study of Women's Empowerment in the Kenjaran Area of Surabaya

    Gender Equality is one of the main targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For this reason, the complexity of problems in community development, especially women's empowerment, is an important dimension that needs to be analyzed in the context of achieving the SDGs. This research explores and analyzes how the Gender and Development perspective is used in developing coastal communities, especially in women's empowerment programs in the coastal area of Kenjeran, Surabaya City. The research used a qualitative method with a participatory rural appraisal (PRA) approach. Data collection was carried out using participant observation and focus group discussion techniques. The informants in this study were actors involved in the development and empowerment of women in the Kenjeran area of Surabaya, which were taken purposively according to the research objectives. The results of this study can become a reference and database in community development with a Gender and Development perspective. The research results provide policy recommendations, especially for development planners and stakeholders involved in developing coastal communities and empowering women in various regions in Indonesia. In particular, research has found development and empowerment models that can be used as databases and models in developing sustainable development programs

    Study Analysis of TSS Distribution Around Teluk Lamong Area Using Remote Sensing and Numerical Modeling Approach

    The Surabaya coast is a strategic area for sustainable development. For example, Teluk Lamong Harbor was built using reclamation. The port can be a solution but also has a coastal ecological impact. Therefore, a study of the coastline and distribution of the TSS was carried out around the Lamong Bay area. Based on the analysis of shoreline changes, the addition in the west (Kali Lamong) with NSM and EPR reached 166 m and 16.6 m/year and in the east, there was an addition (Osowilangon) with NSM and EPR reaching 337 m and 33.7 m/year. Based on TSS analysis by satellite, TSS in 2012 in the east had an average of 28.42 mg/L, increasing in 2017 to 36.39 mg/L, increasing again in 2022 with a value of 38.46 mg/L. While in the west in 2012, the high TSS had an average concentration of 40.95 mg/L, increasing in 2017 to 44.57 mg/L, increasing again in 2022 with a value of 52.68 mg/L. The modeling results show that the average TSS (west) in 2012 is ±20 mg/L, while in 2022 it is ±60 mg/L. In the east port, the average concentration of TSS in 2012 and 2022 did not change significantly (±20 mg/L)
