Comparisons of Logistic Regression and Support Vector Machines in Classification of Echocardiogram Dataset
Echocardiography is a test that uses sound waves to produce an image of our heart. This image is called an echocardiogram. This paper uses Echocardiogram Dataset, in which the problem is to classify from 7 features whether the patient will survive or not. In this study, the classification method is used to solve this problem. Some classification methods can be applied to classify category response variables, such as Logistic regression and Support Vector Machines (SVM). The method for predicting best accuracy used holdout and cross-validation. Before doing classification, some preprocessing procedures were applied to this dataset. The preprocessing procedures include missing value imputation using median imputation, outliers detection in univariate and multivariate procedures, and feature selection using the backward method. The result of classification in the analysis showed that SVM with unstratified holdout gave the best accuracy, that is 91.54%
Analisis Kinerja Aset Fasilitas Pendukung pada Dreamland Water Park Ajibarang, serta pengaruhnya terhadap Kepuasaan Pengunjung
Dreamland Water Park Ajibarang merupakan wisata taman air sebagai wahana rekreasi yang berlokasi di Pancasan, Kecamatan Ajibarang, Kabupaten Banyumas, Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Saat ini, Dreamland Water Park dalam kondisi yang kurang terawat dan terdapat fasilitas utama serta fasilitas pendukung wahana rekreasi yang belum terkelola dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis lebih mendetail mengenai Kinerja Aset Fasilitas Pendukung pada Dreamland Water Park, serta pengaruhnya terhadap kepuasan pengunjung. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Marzuki et al. (2017) yang menganalisis kinerja aset wisata berdasarkan Main Facilities, Support Facilities, Supporting Productive Activities, dan Destination Accessibilities, dan pengaruhnya terhadap kepuasan wisatawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi eksploratori dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskripif. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Fasilitas pendukung banyak yang belum tersedia, dan ada yang tersedia namun kondisinya tidak terawat. Kemudian kinerja aset main facilities, supporting facilities, dan productive activities berhubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kepuasan wisatawan, sementara accessibility berhubungan positif namun tidak signifikan dengan kepuasan wisatawan
Peran Modal Sosial Dalam Pengembangan Wisata Berkelanjutan: Studi Kasus di Kawasan Wisata Lumbung Stroberi-Kota Batu
With Pandanrejo Tourism Village in Bumiaji District, Batu City serving as the focal point of this investigation, the study's overarching objective is to ascertain what part social capital plays in the process of transforming Lumbung Stroberi into a sustainable tourism destination. The concepts of social capital, collaboration, and sustainable development are investigated through the lens of this study, which employs qualitative research methods and a participatory rural appraisal approach to research. Observations of participants and conversations within focus groups are going to be used to collect data. Informants for this study came from local stakeholders who were active in the development of Lumbung Stroberi tourism in Pandanrejo village, which is located in Batu City. The results of this research make a significant contribution to the development of laboratory-based science, in particular the sociology of development. In order to foster more sustainable tourism and community development in Indonesia, local governments and other stakeholders can make use of the practical benefits provided by research
Social Piety Index for Character Development in Indonesia: A Case Study Of Mojokerto
Since 2010, National Character Development has been a program. This nationwide initiative faces fairly significant issues due to the dynamics and changes in the life patterns of individuals. To revitalize the national program, the national movement of mental revolution was then established in 2016. This program's implementation was crucial, but it did not appear to have a precise evaluation system to measure its success. Therefore, a system of evaluation that could generate index documents of the success rate was required. Social Piety Index was the community behavior survey that had been conducted (Indeks Kesalehan Sosial-IKS). This survey examined the level of social piety and produced a document with an index of accomplishments. Consequently, the IKS record may be utilized as a depiction of the evolution of the community's character. Utilizing a quantitative approach with statistical analysis, the survey method employed was quantitative. The acquired result revealed that both the knowledge and attitude data were strong, but the level of correlation between the two was poor. The combination of a high piety index and a low correlation suggested that it was necessary to address additional concerns. These additional characteristics required specialized investigation to be revealed. The establishment of the IKS was essential, particularly if it served as an evaluation system and measuring tool for the accomplishment of national character building
Biodiesel Production from POME (Palm Oil Mill Effluent) and Effects on Diesel Engine Perfor-mance
One way to reduce the scarcity of fuel oil is to make environmentally friendly alternative fuels such as biodiesel. The utilization of biodiesel can be a new energy source and also help reduce the excessive use of fuel, especially diesel and diesel oil in Indonesia. In Indonesia, the amount of palm oil will reach 49.7 tons by 2021, and this data is up 2.9% from the pre-vious year. Palm fruit is processed into CPO. More palm oil processing will produce waste called POME (Palm Oil Mill Effluent). The diesel engine transesterification method is suitable for the manufacture of biodiesel. The amount of base on the catalyst's surface affects the catalyst's activity. So that the higher the base value on the catalyst, the higher the yield of biodiesel that will be produced. The biodiesel produced will be tested on a 4-stroke diesel engine with a B5 and B10 blending composition. The study's results showed that the density and viscosity values for B5 were 5.8 cSt and 810 Kg/m3 and for B10 were 6.3 cSt and 860 Kg/m3. As for engine performance, power, torque, and SFC for B5 fuel at 4000-watt load conditions and 1000 Rpm, engine speeds are 1.18 Kw, 11.28 Nm, and 256.8 gr/Kw. B10 at 4000-watt load condition and 1000 Rpm engine speed is 1.16 Kw, 11.12 Nm, and 269.2 gr/Kw

Preliminary Design of Traditional Fishing Boat (2 GT) With Additional Floating Compartment for Safety Reasons Using BKI Rules
traditional fishing boats are used by fishermen for finding fish to support their daily lives. Because there are many shortcomings in their boats (design problems) and natural conditions that often change, accidents can occur which cause their boats to easily overturn and sink to the bottom of the sea. Other problems were also encountered, such as the boat's obstacles, and the boat's floating compartment was not well designed. For this reason, the author conducted research on the design of a fishing boat with a floating compartment using the BKI rules. Using one of the existing boats was made as a design reference with boat sizes. The principal dimension of the fishing boat is LOA: 10.15 m, Lwl: 8,996 m, B: 1 m, H: 0.87 m, H: 0.3 m, and 2 GT. The results of the calculations find that the engine specification that suits the fishing boat is 3.5 kW with a speed of 7 knots. The author's research varies the Floodable Length of the original boat's floating compartment with a compartment size of 1.365 m AP, 1.325 m FP, and model 2 floating compartment using BKI rules with AP size 2.225 m and FP 2.425 m. The analysis result based on the design of the fishing boat shows that model 2 is the best design. Construction in accordance with BKI regulations, a mixed type of construction was chosen. The frame distance is 500 mm with the stiffener type model h = 25 mm, bb = 30 mm, and bc = 36 mm. Meanwhile, the total stringer is 6 stiffeners
Design Requirements & Objectives Playmat Permainan Tradisional Gobak Sodor untuk Anak Usia 4-6 Tahun
Abstrak- Permainan tradisional sudah banyak ditinggalkan di masa modern ini. Padahal permainan tradisional memiliki begitu banyak nilai yang berguna untuk anak, seperti halnya nilai keagamaan, kebudayaan, kemanusiaan, dan lain sebagainya. Bahkan aspek pengembangan yang harus dicapai saat anak duduk di pra-sekolah dapat terpenuhi dengan menggunakan permainan tradisional. Selain permainan tradisional, play mat di Indonesia juga merupakan jenis permainan yang ragamnya masih dapat dihitung jumlahya, padahal jenis permainan playmat sangat menyenangkan saat dimainkan secara bersama-sama di sekolah dan masih dapat dikembangkan. Dengan melihat peluang tersebut, penulis membuat playmat bertema permainan tradisional yang bertujuan untuk melestarikan permainan tradisional khususnya ‘Gobak sodor’, memberi sarana baru untuk anak dalam bermain sambal belajar, juga melatih motorik kasar anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, observasi lapangan, melakukan depth interview, dan riset konsumen. Informasi yang telah penulis dapatkan dapat dijadikan acuan dalam merumuskan Design Requirement and Objectives (DR&O) produk playmat permainan tradisional.Abstract— Traditional games have been abandoned in modern times. Traditional games have so many useful values for children, such as religious, cultural, humanitarian values, and so on. Even the developmental aspects that must be achieved when children are in pre-school can be fulfilled by using traditional games. In addition to traditional games, play mat in Indonesia is also a type of game whose variety can still be counted, even though this type of playmat game is very fun when played together at school and can still be developed. Seeing this opportunity, the author made a playmat with the theme of traditional games which aims to preserve traditional games, especially 'Gobak sodor' provide new facilities for children to play with learning, as well as train children's gross motor skills. The methods used are literature studies, field observations, conducting in-depth interviews, and consumer research. The information that the author has obtained can be used as a reference in formulating Design Requirements and Objectives (DR&O) for traditional playmat products
The Effect of Addition of Mangrove Avicennia Marina Extract on The Biofouling Activity to Epoxy Coating
Biofouling is one of the problems related to construction maintenance in industrial developments in the maritime construction sector because biofouling adhesion can affect construction productivity. This problem can be overcome by coating using natural-based paints to reduce the ecological impact that will occur. This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of Avicennia marina mangrove extract as an anti-fouling compound mixed with epoxy paint. This research was conducted by mixing Avicennia marina mangrove extract with epoxy paint. Then the alloy is applied as a coating on the ASTM A36 steel specimen. Furthermore, the test was carried out by immersing the specimen in a solution containing Littorina littorea as a biofouling biota. The average results of the biofouling affixing activity test with the addition of mangrove extract concentrations of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% were respectively 24.0 gr, 20.5 gr, 13.5 gr, and 6 gr. This test shows that the more the addition of mangrove extracts, the smaller the adhering activity of biofouling to the specimen
Stabilitas Dinding Penahan Tanah Menggunakan Pondasi Strauss Pile dan Soil Nailing pada Proyek Jalan Lintas Selatan LOT 7 Blitar STA 6+570
Dinding penahan tanah merupakan salah satu alternatif perkuatan tanah pada lereng. Dinding penahan tanah biasanya digunakan pada lereng dengan konsistensi tanah lunak untuk menambah daya dukung tanah serta mencegah terjadinya kelongsoran. Selain menggunakan dinding penahan tanah, proyek Jalan Lintas Selatan LOT 7 Blitar juga menggunakan pondasi dangkal (strauss pile) sebagai tambahan perkuatan dari lereng jalan tersebut. Pondasi dangkal yang direncanakan akan dipasang sebanyak 144 titik dengan kedalaman rencana 5,5 meter. Akan tetapi, dikarenakan konsistensi tanah pada kedalaman tertentu merupakan tanah keras, maka pondasi dangkal tidak terpasang sesuai dengan perencanaan. Sehingga diperlukan adanya analisis pada kondisi tersebut dan ditemukan nilai SF terbesar adalah 1.16. Oleh karena itu, direncanakan alternatif perkuatan tambahan berupa soil nailing pada dinding penahan tanah dan pada lereng diatas dinding penahan. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan bahwa apabila dipasang soil nailing pada lereng diatas dinding penahan sepanjang 10 meter menghasilkan nilai SF sebesar 1.46
