Get PDFAbstract: The pressure on the limitation of employment opportunities is also economic needs of the family, becoming one of the driving factors for becoming migrant workers. Now the women migrant workers have returned to their homes, even though the economy has improved. But they are confronted with another problem, they can not work as before. This is one of them because of age, and the burden of the family growing. Their daily life only deals with the domestic sector and no longer produces economically, nor is their time wasted with unproductive things. To fill and utilize the time they have, it is necessary to empower women ex migrant workers. One of them with the skill of making canvas bag/totebag. This activity was implemented in Baros Pasantren RT 02 RW 02 Sukataris Village, Karangtengah Subdistrict, Cianjur Regency. The method used are lecture, discussion, question and answer, and practice to make pattern of tottebag, cutting pattern and also practice of sewing tottebag. This training make they start to realize about the importance of having skills, especially sewing skills or make patterns and cutting patterns. They can apply when there are owners of convection who ask for their services, before they can open their own business. Thus, in addition to taking care of the household and members of their family, they are able to fill their spare time with activities that can produce economically.
Abstrak: Tekanan atas keterbatasan peluang kerja juga didorong oleh kebutuhan ekonomi keluarga, menjadi salah satu faktor pendorong untuk menjadi migran pekerja. Kini para perempuan pekerja migran telah kembali ke kampung halaman, meskipun secara ekonomi sudah mengalami peningkatan. Akan tetapi mereka dihadapkan dengan kendala lain, yakni tidak dapat bekerja sebagaimana sebelumnya. Hal ini salah satunya karena usia, dan beban keluarga yang semakin bertambah. Keseharian mereka hanya berkutat pada sektor domestik dan tidak lagi menghasilkan secara ekonomi, juga waktu mereka banyak terbuang dengan hal-hal yang tidak produktif. Untuk mengisi dan memanfaatkan waktu yang mereka miliki, maka perlu dilakukan pemberdayaan perempuan eks pekerja migran yang salah satunya dengan pembekalan keterampilan membuat tas kanvas/totebag. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan di Kampung Baros Pasantren RT 02 RW 02 Desa Sukataris Kecamatan Karangtengah Kabupaten Cianjur pada ibu-ibu eks pekerja migran. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan praktik membuat pola tottebag, cutting pola serta praktik menjahit pola yang sudah ditentukan hingga menjadi tottebag. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini mereka mulai tersadar tentang pentingnya memiliki keterampilan, terutama keterampilan menjahit ataupun membuat pola dan cutting pola. Hal ini bisa mereka aplikasikan ketika ada pemilik konveksi yang meminta jasa mereka, menjelang mereka bisa membuka usaha sendiri. Dengan demikian selain mengurus rumah tangga dan para anggota keluarganya, mereka pun mampu mengisi waktu luang mereka dengan kegiatan yang bisa menghasilkan secara ekonomi
Penerapan Bahasa Inggris Terintegrasi Dengan Pembelajaran Di TPQ Al-Mataab Desa Tembokrejo – Muncar – Banyuwangi
Get PDFAs one of world languages, English is broadly used in many aspects such as science, business, technology, and education. Thus English is highly necessary to be introduced as soon as possible to the students in order to compete in the globalization era. The purpose of this community service activity is to integrate the English material in the curriculum of TPQ (Al-Qur’an Learning Center), so the students can know earlier about English as a global language. This activity was conducted at TPQ Al-Mataab - Tembokrejo – Muncar – Banyuwangi in which the classes were divided into two, they are class A (students aged 7-10) and class B (students aged 11-14). The methods used were drilling, flashcard, and songs in training and giving Basic English materials to the students. Some steps in performing this activity were preparation, conducting pre test to find out the initial of students’ English ability, training and teaching, and giving post test to know the progress of the activity. The mean score result of class A showed the enhancement from 43.89 in pre test to 62.41 in post test. While in class B the pre test result was 61.4 and in post test increase into 71.6. It indicated that students are eager and excited in learning English and it is feasible and potential to be integrated in TPQ curriculum

The community empowerment management is conducted in Kampung Rawa Jakarta, which is a densely populated area with unorganized social life and diverse environmental waste. Therefore, the solution offered through PKM(Community Service) activities in accordance with the KKN (Real Work Course) of students of Fashion Management Program batch 2016, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Faculty of Engineering, is by conducting an activity to create various clothing accessories from recycled waste such as cans, plastic bottles, quill feathers, patchwork, and so on. The population sample of activity conducted during August 2019 in Kampung Rawa is mothers and female teenagers. The method of activity is conducted with a cooperative learning approach by means of group tutorials. The result of the satisfaction level of the activity shows that a low value is given to the ability instrument in convincing and gaining trust, and the ability instrument in conducting evaluation is 88 or on average 4.4 with a satisfied value. Whereas the highest value is given to the disciplinary and responsibility instruments, with 97 or on average 4.9 is very satisfied. Therefore, it can be concluded that PKM (Community Service) activity in accordance with the KKN (Real Work Course) can provide maximum satisfaction for participants of clothing accessories creation for women in Kampung Rawa Jakarta.

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di Kampung Rawa Jakarta, yang padat penduduk, dan hiruk pikuk kehidupan sosial yang tidak teratur dengan sampah lingkungan yang beraneka ragam. Sehingga solusi yang ditawarkan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat (PKM) berkesinambungan dengan kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Fakultas Teknik, Program Studi Tata Busana mahasiswa angkatan 2016, adalah melaksanakan kegiatan pembuatan pelengkap busana membuat bermacam-macam aksesori dari daur ulang limbah sampah seperti tutup kaleng, plastik botol, bulu ayam, kain perca dan lain sebagainya. Populasi kegiatan di Kampung Rawa dengan sampel peserta adalah ibu-ibu dan remaja putri yang dilaksanakan selama bulan Agustus 2019. Metoda kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan cooperative learning dengan cara tutorial berkelompok. Hasil dari tingkat kepuasan dari kegiatan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa nilai yang rendah diberikan kepada kemampuan alat untuk meyakinkan dan memperoleh kepercayaan, dan kemampuan instrumen dalam melakukan evaluasi yaitu sebesar 88 atau rata-rata 4,4 dengan nilai puas. Sedangkan nilai tertinggi yang diberikan pada instruimen disiplin dan tanggung jawab, sebesar 97 atau rata-rata 4.9 sangat puas. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berkesinambungan kuliah kerja nyata dapat memberikan kepuasan maksimal bagi peserta kegiatan pembuatan aksesori bagi ibu-ibu di Kampung Rawa Jakart

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan membantu dan mensosialisasikan pemanfaatan rumput laut untuk dibuat ice gel, dimana kebutuhan akan ice gel, saat ini semakin besar, karena digunakan untuk proses recovery anak yang sedang sakit, proses recovery, atau untuk kepentingan ekonomi, pembuatan ice gel dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara salah satu sumbernya adalah dengan rumput laut (algae), dimasyarakat Pulau Tidung yang merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil rumput laut, masih belum optimal pemanfaatannya, petani lebih senang menjual hasil panennya kepada tengkulak, PkM ini dengan metode workshop, dimana Target luaran yang diharapkan setelah pelaksanaan workshop ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat pulau Tidung tentang pengetahuan dasar algae serta kemampuan pemanfaatan rumput laut menjadi ice gel yang akan dimanfaatkan untuk proses recovery. Pada pelaksanaannya semua peserta antusias mengikuti dengan baik dan mendapat dukungan dari pemerintah setempat bahkan dari Pemerintah Kabupaten.

This community service program was aimed to help the community bycommunicating the utilization of algae to produce ice gel of which need recently grows greatly as it is commonly used in the recovery process of an ill child, recovery process in general, or for an economical purpose. To produce ice gel, any material can be used. Algae is one of them. The PulauTidung community as one of the algae farmers is seen not to have utilized the algae optimally. They prefer to sell their harvest to the middlemen. The objective of this program with workshop as its method was to increase the awareness of PulauTidung community of basic knowledge about algae and help them acquire the competence in utilizing algae to produce ice gel which then could be used in recovery process. During workshop, all participants seem to be enthusiastic in following all activities and they received support from both local and regency governments

The subjects of service are high school adolescents who are vulnerable to the negative influence of social and environmental media. Reproductive health is very important for both men and women. Reproductive health is defined as a whole physical, mental and social well-being not free from disease or disability in all matters relating to the reproductive system, its functions and processes. This service at the high school level is very necessary to be carried out by using location search methods, approaches to the school and providing workshops to students. With this service can provide students with knowledge and insight into reproductive health and sexual deviations that they must avoid. Adolescent reproductive health is an inseparable part of mental health, mental health and social health. Teenagers must understand and know their sexual reproductive health so as not to produce sexual deviations that will harm themselves and their families.

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengarahkan masyarakat pada pola hidup sehat terkait dengan kesehatan reproduksi. Subjek pengabdian yaitu remaja tingkat SMA yang rentan terhadap pengaruh negatif media sosial dan lingkungan. Kesehatan reproduksi hal yang sangat penting untuk pria maupun wanita. Kesehatan reproduksi didefenisikan sebagai suatu kesejahteraan fisik, mental dan sosial secara utuh tidak bebas dari penyakit atau kecacatan dalam semua hal yang berkaitan dengan sistem reproduksi, fungsi dan prosesnya. Pengabdian di tingkat sekolah menengah atas ini sangat perlu untuk dilak dengan menggunakan metode pencarian lokasi, pendekatan kepada pihak sekolah dan pemberian workshop kepada peserta didik.. Dengan adanya pengabdian ini dapat memberikan pengetahuan dan wawasan siswa dalam kesehatan reproduksi dan penyimpangan seksual yang harus mereka hindari. Kesehatan reproduksi remaja merupakan bagian yang tidak dapat dipisahkan yakni kesehatan psikis, mental dan kesehatan social. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa perbaikan mesin pengolahan pakan ternak (disc mill) dilaksanakan di kandang pakan Ternak Sentra Peternakan Rakyat (SPR) Desa Padamulya, Kecamatan Cipunagara, Kabupaten Subang, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Tanggal 12 Juli – 30 September 2018.
Hasil Pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mesin pengolahan pakan milik SPR Cinagarabogo dapat kembali bekerja secara optimal dan dalam kondisi baik. Program pengabdian Masyarakat ini sebagai bentuk pelaksanaan Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi bagi POLSUB dan menyambung tali silaturami Antara Perguruan Tinggi dengan Masyarakat.

This place of assistance is at SMK Negeri 4 South Tangerang, the time of assistance on August 4 to Sept 1, 2018 the method used in the activities of the event include lectures, brainstorming, question and answer, workshops, assignments and live demonstrations. The mentoring results show that 80% the teacher of SMK Negeri 4 Tangerang understands the concept of authentic assessment as indicated by the work of the teacher in the form of test and non-test instruments which are reported to refer to authentic evaluation models of authentic evaluation rubrics. The disease that most attacks the elderly one of which is hypertension. The hypertension is one of the main public health problems today. The prevalence of hypertension is 25.8% of Indonesia's population. If not handled properly as early as possible can be the number 1 killer of humanity. Community service activities carried out with the aim of improving the health status of the elderly by using therapeutic roads as an alternative in overcoming hypertension in Sumber Sari Village, Kec. Loa Kulu Kab. Kutai Kartanegara. The method of community service is training, and health education in the use of therapeutic roads in the Posyandu Elderly Anggrek Ungu Sumber Sumber village followed by 29 elderly people. The introduction of therapy is carried out in January 2018 and is then applied by the elderly every day. Posyandu cadres that have been formed to monitor the elderly in the utilization of therapeutic roads that have been made. In addition, by doing health education, the elderly can realize about maintaining daily health and not consuming foods that cause excessive hypertension.

Penyakit yang paling banyak menyerang lansia salah satunya adalah penyakit hipertensi. Hipertensi merupakan salah satu masalah utama kesehatan masyarakat saat ini. Prevalensi hipertensi sebesar 25,8% penduduk Indonesia. Bila tidak ditangani dengan baik sedini mungkin bisa menjadi pembunuh nomor 1 umat manusia. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan derajat kesehatan lansia dengan pemanfaatan jalan terapi sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam mengatasi penyakit hipertensi di Desa Sumber Sari Kec. Loa Kulu Kab. Kutai Kartanegara. Metode pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu pelatihan, dan pendidikan kesehatan dalam pemanfaatan jalan terapi di Posyandu Lansia Anggrek Ungu Desa Sumber Sari diikuti oleh 29 orang Lansia. Pengenalan jalan terapi dilaksanakan pada Januari 2018 dan selanjutnya diaplikasikan oleh lansia setiap harinya. Kader posyandu yang telah terbentuk melakukan pemantauan lansia dalam pemanfaatan jalan terapi yang telah dibuat. Selain itu, dengan dilakukannya pendidikan kesehatan, lansia dapat menyadari tentang menjaga kesehatan sehari-hari dan tidak mengkonsumsi makanan yang memicu hipertensi secara berlebihan.

The coffee dryer uses fuel in the form of charcoal which is produced from coffee skin waste which becomes environmental waste. With the application of appropriate technology, the community of coffee farmers can make the process of drying coffee quickly without requiring considerable time. Community service activities are carried out in Tirtoyudo Village, Tirtoyudo District, Malang Regency by applying a coffee dryer oven machine using briquette fuel. The results of community service activities are: (a) the fulfillment of environmentally friendly and inexpensive energy sources for the process of drying coffee for partners in particular and the people of Tirtoyudo Village in general through the use of coffee waste as briquette fuel; (b) the fulfillment of coffee dryer with briquette fuel energy for partners in Tirtoyudo Village so that the process of drying coffee beans is more effective and efficient; (c) availability of standardized packaging production equipment for ground coffee for partners in Tirtoyudo Village so that the quality and price of partner coffee powder can compete in the market; (d) online marketing so that production can reach exports for sales, and (d) the socio-economic activities of the Tirtoyudo Village community become more qualified through small business groups drying coffee beans and processing coffee grounds

This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to improve the soft-skill ability of elementary school teachers and students in Tarumajaya, Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia. The activities carried out in the form of Classroom Action Research training and Creating Teaching Aids for teachers and training on the National Science Olympiad for their students. The method employed in the PkM was through material exposure (lectures), discussion, question and answer and direct practice of the material provided. The activity of the teacher begins with the exposure of the Classroom Action Research Material to the teacher delivered by the guest speaker. At the beginning, the teacher was asked to submit learning problems in the classroom. Based on the problem presented, then the resource person provided the material and adjusted it to solve the problem. The goal is that the teachers can solve the problems raised using appropriate and interesting learning methods and teaching aids. Furthermore, the teachers were directed to focus on one problem which is then revealed in the form of problem-solving steps. As for the material for making teaching aids, teachers were provided with materials to create the teaching aids and they were given a guide to make the aids as needed. Beginning with the presentation of material about the concept of teaching aids, participants were guided to make teaching aids based on the mathematical concepts to be appointed. While in the student section, the participants conducted the National Science Olympics training activities by taking the pre-test, followed by material exposure and discussion of questions and post-tests. Because students are not familiar in answering the questions about the type of National Science Olympiad, they were guided to complete each question and taught the resolution strategies. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan soft-skill guru-guru dan siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Tarumajaya, Kabupaten Bekasi Provinsi Jawa Barat. Kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dan Pembuatan Alat Peraga bagi guru-guru serta pelatihan tentang Olimpiade Sains Nasional bagi siswa-siswanya. Metode pada PkM ini melalui paparan materi (ceramah), diskusi, tanya jawab dan praktek langsung terhadap materi yang diberikan. Kegiatan pada guru di awali dengan paparan materi Materi Penelitian Tindakan Kelas terhadap guru yang disampaikan oleh narasumber. Pada bagian awal, guru diminta menyampaikan permasalahan pembelajaran yang ada di dalam kelas. Berdasarkan masalah yang disampaikan, kemudian narasumber memberikan materi dan disesuaikan dengan permasalahan. Tujuannya agar para guru dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang diajukan menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dan menarik serta alat peraga. Selanjutnya guru diarahkan untuk fokus pada satu masalah yang kemudian diturunkan dalam bentuk langkah-langkah penyelesaian masalah. Sedangkan pada materi Pembuatan Alat Peraga, guru-guru dibekali dengan bahan untuk membuat alat peraga dan dituntun untuk membuat alat peraga sesuai kebutuhan. Di awali dengan paparan materi tentang konsep alat peraga, peserta dituntun membuat alat peraga berdasarkan konsep matematika yang akan diangkat. Sedangkan pada bagian siswa, para peserta melakukan kegiatan pelatihan Olimpiade Sains Nasional dengan mengikuti pre test, dilanjutkan paparan materi dan pembahasan soal serta post test. Karena para siswa belum terbiasa dalam menjawab soal tipe Olimpiade Sains Nasional, mereka dituntun dengan bertahap dalam menyelesaikan setiap soal serta disampaikan bagaimana strategi penyelesaiannya.
