Türkiye’de Vergi Gelirleri ile Ekonomik Kalkınma Arasındaki İlişki: Frekans Alanı Nedensellik Analizi
Get PDFThe aim of the study is to investigate the existence of the relationship between tax revenues and development in Turkey for the period 1975-2013 and analyze the direction of the relationship with different econometric tests. According to the analysis results, there was a cointegration relation between the variables. The existence of the cointegration relationship brings with it the expectation that causality relations must also exist. According to Toda-Yamamoto Granger, Hacker and Hatemi causality test findings, unilateal relationship were observed towars development from indirect tax revenues, The Breitung and Caldelon frequency domain causality test, however, it was ascertained unilateal relationships towards development from total tax revenues; and towards development from direct tax revenues; and there also is unilateal relationship towards indirect tax revenues from development.Çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de 1975-2013 dönemine ait yıllık verilerle vergi gelirleri ile kalkınma arasındaki ilişkinin varlığını araştırmakla beraber söz konusu ilişkinin yönünü farklı ekonometrik testlerle analiz etmektir. Hacker ve Hatemi nedensellik testi bulgularına göre, dolaylı vergi gelirlerinden kalkınmaya doğru tek yönlü; Breitung ve Caldelon frekans alanı nedensellik testi ise toplam vergi gelirlerinden kalkınmaya, dolaysız vergi gelirlerinden kalkınmaya ve kalkınmadan dolaylı vergi gelirlerine doğru tek yönlü ilişkiler tespit edilmiştir

Get PDFGelişmekte olan ülkelerde döviz kuru hareketlerinin ihracat ve ithalat fiyatlarına önemli etkileri söz konusudur. Döviz kurundaki değişimler ithalat fiyatları ve talep kanalıyla üretici ve tüketici fiyatlarını etkilemekte, ihracat fiyatı kanalıyla da ihracatçı firmaların rekabet güçlerini, satışlarını ve diğer performans ölçütlerini etkileyebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada Türkiye kapsamında yurt içi (üretici ve tüketici) fiyatlara döviz kuru yansımasını ve piyasaya göre fiyatlandırma davranışını konu alan ampirik çalışmaların özetlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışma literatürde rapor edilen başlıca bulguları özetleyerek konu ile ilgilenen araştırmacılara elde edilen sonuçların karşılaştırılabilmesi konusunda faydalı olmayı hedeflemiştir
Belirsizlik Altında Çevre Bilinçli Tedarikçi Seçimi Probleminin İncelenmesi
Get PDFSürdürülebilir tedarik zincirleri, toplumun güncel gereksinimlerini gelecek nesillerin kaynaklarını tehlikeye atmadan ulaşılabilir kılmayı hedeflemektedir. Kalkınmayı sürdürülebilir kılmanın yolu, tedarik zincirinde akışı gerçekleşen tüm kaynaklara kapalı bir döngü içinde gerçekleşme yeteneği kazandırılmasını sağlamaktan geçmektedir. Burada öncelikli kaynaklar, kıt olan ve yaşamı sürdürülebilir kılan çevresel kaynaklardır. Çevre bilinçli sistemler kurmak suretiyle, tedarik zincirindeki müşteriler ve işletmeler bu kaynakların sürdürülebilirliği konusunda katkı sağlayabilmektedir. Bu çalışma, yeşil tedarik zincirinde tedarikçi seçimi gerçekleştiren bir firmanın değerlendirmesi gereken kriterler incelenmiş olup, otomotiv sektöründe üretim yapan bir firma için tedarikçi değerlendirmesi ve analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuçlar, sürdürülebilir tedarik zincirinde tedarikçi seçimi yaparken çevreci kriterlerin etki düzeyinin otomotiv sektöründe oldukça yüksek olduğunu göstermektedir
The Impacts of Agricultural Research and Development Expenditures on Agricultural Total Factor Productivity: Evidence from Selected Latin American Countries
Get PDFThe aim of the study is to investigate the impacts of agricultural research and development expenditures on agricultural total factor productivity by using annual panel data set covering 5 selected Latin American countries from 1981 to 2013. In doing so, we use the panel cointegration analysis under cross-section dependence and panel fully modified ordinary least squares (FMOLS) method. At the end of the analysis; there is a cointegration relationship between research and development and total factor productivity in agriculture sector for these selected countries. Also, the elasticity coefficient of agricultural research and development expenditures is 0.58
İnovasyon Sürecinde Örgütü Girişimsel ve Öğrenme Odaklılığa Yönlendirmede Dönüştürücü Liderlik Tarzının Etkisi
Get PDFGünümüzde, işletmelerin teknolojik gelişmeler ve değişen çevre koşulları karşısında sürdürülebilirliği sağlamasında, daha yenilikçi, öğrenme odaklı ve girişimci olmaları önemlidir. Başarılı işletmelerin örgütsel düzeyde edindikleri öğrenme alışkanlıkları ve girişimsel yetenekleri sayesinde, yüksek inovasyon düzeyine ulaştıkları görülmektedir. Literatür çalışmaları, inovasyonla ilgili değişimi sağlamada, en uyumlu liderlik tipinin "dönüştürücü liderlik tarzı" olduğunu belirtmektedir. Makalenin amacı, işletmenin inovasyon performansının arttırılmasında, örgütün girişim ve öğrenme odaklılığı ile yöneticilerin dönüştürücü liderlik tarzının etkilerini açıklamaktır. Saha araştırması, teknoparklarda faaliyet gösteren 120 işletmede görev yapan 239 yönetici ve eşit sayıda personelin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, girişim ve öğrenme odaklılığın, inovasyon performansı üzerinde doğrudan ve anlamlı etkisi olduğu görülmüştür. Makale, teknopark firma yöneticilerinin dönüştürücü liderlik tarzı sergilemesi ve girişimci ve öğrenme odaklı süreçleri geliştirmeleri sayesinde, inovasyon performans düzeyinin artabileceğini göstermektedir
Yatırımın Marjinal Etkinliğinde Meydana Gelen Şokların Tüketim Harcamalarının Konjonktür Dalgaları Üzerindeki Etkisi
Get PDFKonjonktür dalgalarının temel belirleyicisinin ne olduğuna yönelik çalışma sayısı son yıllarda daha fazla artış göstermiştir. Son dönemde yapılan çalışmaların odaklandığı temel değişken yatırımların marjinal etkinliğinde meydana gelen şoklar olmuştur. Her ne kadar teorik çalışmalar tüketim ve yatırım harcamalarının birbiriyle aynı yönde hareket ettiklerini iddia etseler de bunun ekonomik modellere yansıtılması uzun zaman almıştır. Bu çalışmada tüketicilerin, harcanabilir gelirlerini dönem içinde tüketenler ve sermaye ve finans piyasalarına ulaşabilme kabiliyetine sahip olanlar biçiminde ikiye ayrıldıkları varsayılarak yatırımın marjinal etkinliğinde meydana gelen şokların tüketim ve yatırım harcamaları üzerindeki etkisi modellenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular tüketim ve yatırım harcamalarının, teoriyle paralel olarak Türkiye özelinde de birbiriyle aynı yönde hareket ettiğini ve yatırımın marjinal etkinliğinin ekonomik konjonktür üzerinde belirleyici role sahip olduğunu göstermiştir
Kültür Bürokrasi ve Yolsuzluk: Kültürlerarası Zaman Serimli/Boylamsal Bir Çalışma
Get PDFBu çalışmanın amacı ülkelerin kültürel yapılarının yolsuzluk ya da rüşvet eğilimine olan etkilerinin zaman serimli (boylamsal) olarak incelenmesidir. Aynı zamanda ülkelerin bürokratik yapılarının, kültür ve rüşvet ilişkisini artırıp artırmadığını incelemektir. Bu çerçevede 68 ülke ve 3 bölgeyi içeren teorik ve ampirik bir çalışma yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak yolsuzluk, bireysel kültürler ile negatif ilişkiliyken; yolsuzluk ile belirsizlikten kaçınan kültürler arasında pozitif ilişki görülmektedir. Belirsizlikten kaçınma eğiliminin yüksek olması aşırı bürokratik yapılanmayı meydana getirmekte ve bu durumun yolsuzluğun artışını desteklediği görülmektedir. 11 yıllık bir süreç içerisinde aşırı bürokrasi ile yolsuzluk arasında yüksek oranda ilişkisinin devam ettiği görülmüştür

Turkish Households Consumption Behavior and Flexible Engel Curves
Get PDFThe aim of this study is to first determine the relationship between the social and economic differences of households and the functional form of their consumption and then test their consumption behavior empirically. To do so, this paper utilizes the empirical framework of “Exact Affine Stone Index” (EASI), which is offered in Lewbel and Pendakur (2009), by using the Household Budget Survey data provided by Turkey Statistical Institute, for the 2003-2011 period. The analysis presented here estimates Engel curves, income and demand elasticities for eleven main consumption bundles of the reference household using the Iterative Three Stage Least Squares (I3SLS) method. Differently to previous studies, the empirical results show that the Engel curves have fifth degree polynomial functional form for all consumption groups, except for hotel expenditures for Turkish households.
