Get PDFIl contributo intende porre l’attenzione su una forma particolare di tradizione manoscritta, che vede l’utilizzo delle parti liminari del libro a stampa per il deposito di opere letterarie autonome rispetto ai contenuti del libro stesso. L’esempio fornito, riguardante quattro testi poetici inediti in castigliano e catalano copiati in coda a un incunabolo giuridico (Furs de València, 1482), mostra l’importanza di questa modalità di trasmissione, soprattutto per quelle letterature, medievali e di prima Età moderna, che non hanno goduto di ampia sopravvivenza. Get PDFIn eighteenth-century London, new male figures in search of greater earnings (doctors, surgeons, apothecaries, dentists, etc.), invaded the old female monopoly of the practices of caring for and nurturing women's bodies during pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium increasingly. The writings of Elizabeth Nihell offer an interesting insight into the vigorous defence opposed by the midwives, through a timely exaltation of typically or uniquely female skills and sensibilities, without however disdaining to appeal to the traditional values of the archaic patriarchalist society also, and indeed wielding as a cudgel the notion of the ‘female pudenda’ as the exclusive property of the husband, an insurmountable limit for the safeguarding of virile honour, the certainty of offspring and the integrity of family heritage. This paper highlights the contrasts of a convoluted moment that was marked by an indissoluble interweaving of tenacious continuities and abrupt, multiform changes.Nella Londra settecentesca nuove figure maschili, a caccia di guadagni maggiori (medici, chirurghi, speziali, dentisti, etc.), presero a invadere sempre più massicciamente l’antico monopolio femminile delle pratiche di assistenza e accudimento del corpo della donna in periodo di gravidanza, parto e puerperio. Gli scritti di Elizabeth Nihell offrono un interessante spaccato dell’energica difesa opposta dalle «comari» levatrici, attraverso una puntuale esaltazione di competenze e sensibilità tipicamente o unicamente femminili, senza però disdegnare di far leva anche sui tradizionali valori dell’arcaica società patriarcalista, e anzi brandendo come una clava l’idea delle «parti pudende muliebri» quale proprietà esclusiva del marito, limite invalicabile per la salvaguardia dell’onore virile, della certezza della discendenza e dell’integrità del patrimonio. La possibilité d’une île di Michel Houellebecq: l’autobiografia come ultimo lascito dell’umano.
Get PDFThe article wants to investigate the narrative device at the heart of Michel Houellebecq’s novel La possibilité d’une île (2005). Its structure is based on the alternation of two different worlds, one human and the other non-human, populated by clones. For the reader, this implicates a double effort to adapt to both settings; for the text, this implicates the possibility of exploiting the bifurcation to establish mutual, meaningful links. With the help of the Possible Worlds Theory, we emphasize that this mechanism enables the author to highlight the crucial role of autobiographical writing, which is the only instrument of communication between the two worlds, and the last indispensable feature even in a literally post-human future.L'article se propose d'examiner le dispositif narratif qu'est à la base du roman La possibilité d’une île (2005) de Michel Houellebecq : dont la structure est fondée sur l'alternance entre deux monds différents, l'une humain and l'autre non humain, peuplé de clones. Cela comporte pour le lecteur un double effort, en s'adaptant à tous le deux environnements ; et pour le texte la possibilité d'exploiter la bifurcation pour y établir des liens reciproques porteurs de sens. Avec l'aide de la Possible Worlds Theory, on souligne que ce mécanisme permet à l'auteur de mettre en valeur le rôle crucial de l'écriture autobiographique, qui est le seul instrument de communication entre les deux mondes, et la dernière caractéristique indispensable même dans un avenir littéralement post-humain

Get PDFThe main purpose of this article is to identify the narrative devices of transgression of the different Possible Worlds (PWs) that constitute the science fiction novel Nicolas Eymerich, inquisitore by Valerio Evangelisti, applying the apperception theory on fantastic linkages.
In this work, the construction of the PW1 of present space-time is founded on concrete theoretical and applicative developments of specific physical theories already drawn up our Actual World (AW), materializing in the PW2 of future space-time, with narrative and ontological repercussions also on the PW3 of past space-time.
Through the cognitive perspective of apperception theory and the text analytic schema, we can highlight the mechanisms of horizontal hyperlepsis of diegetic elements involving the distinct paradigmatic anomalies of PW3 and the final transgressive alteration between PW2 and PW3.Il principale scopo del presente articolo è individuare i dispositivi narrativi di trasgressione dei diversi Mondi Possibili (MP) che costituiscono il romanzo di fantascienza Nicolas Eymerich, inquisitore di Valerio Evangelisti, applicando la teoria delle appercezioni sui legami fantastici.
In quest’opera, la costruzione del MP1 dello spaziotempo presente si basa su concreti sviluppi teorici e applicativi di specifiche teorie fisiche già abbozzate nel nostro Mondo Reale (MR) che si materializzano nel MP2 dello spaziotempo futuro e con ricadute narrative de ontologiche anche sul MP3 dello spaziotempo passato.
Grazie alla prospettiva cognitiva della teoria delle appercezioni e allo schema analitico sul testo, vengono messi in evidenza i meccanismi di iperlessi orizzontale degli elementi diegetici che comportano le distinti anomalie paradigmatiche del MP3 e l’alterazione trasgressiva finale tra MP2 e MP3

Get PDFThe contribution aims to present preliminary results of the 2nd excavation campaign conducted as part of the Tunisian-Italian Archaeological Mission in Thignica (Aïn Tounga). The work, carried out within the Byzantine fortress, expanded the area investigated during the campaign of 2022: first, space 2 was fully uncovered, which was interpreted as a courtyard where a tabouna was identified; subsequently, moving north, another environment was excavated, with flooring like that of the courtyard, which probably served as a kitchen.Il contributo intende presentare in versione preliminare risultati della II campagna di scavo svolta nell’ambito della Missione archeologica tuniso-italiana a Thignica (Aïn Tounga). I lavori, condotti all’interno della fortezza bizantina, hanno ampliato l’area indagata nel corso della campagna del 2022: è stato dapprima messo completamente in luce l’ambiente 2 che è stato interpretato come una corte e dove è stato individuato un tabouna; successivamente proseguendo verso nord è stato scavato un altro ambiente, con pavimentazione analoga a quella presente nella corte, che aveva probabilmente la funzione di cucina
Education as an Itinerary in the Light of Meaning
Get PDFThe article intends to provide a reflection on education understood as an itinerary in light of the discovery of the uniqueness of one’s existence and as an opportunity to humanize society and the portion of the world with which one comes into contact. Education is an experience of flourishing in the good and the true, as well as a challenge against the forces of withdrawal into oneself. The good educator will therefore be able to accompany and illuminate the telos towards which to strive starting from the condition in which the educating person finds himself, in full self-empowerment.
