The Growing Interest in Learning English Among CEIL Students at Tlemcen University: Motives and Attitudes
Get PDFThis research work is aimed to investigate the motives and attitudes of students
regarding English language. The research work was based on the qualitative and
quantitative research methodology based on the questionnaire distributed to 56 CEIL
students learning English as a second foreign language at the University of Tlemcen.
The analysed data prove that globalization had huge impact on these students.
Additionally the findings indicated positive perceptions from the Algerian society
toward English expecting it to have a bright future in the country

Get PDFParkinson’s disease (PD), a progressive neurodegenerative disorder, often presents
subtle early symptoms such as speech impairments that are challenging to detect with
traditional methods. This Master’s thesis proposes deep learning models to assist health care professionals in the early diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease through speech analysis.
Our approach combines voice records processing and artificial intelligence, utilizing ad vanced deep learning models. Various techniques were implemented to enhance model
robustness and generalization. Multiple models were evaluated, yielding promising re sults. This system aims to improve the accuracy and speed of PD diagnosis, offering a
valuable tool for early intervention and better patient care

No full textLa dégradation photocatalytique des colorants organiques sous irradiation UV s’est imposée comme une
méthode efficace et respectueuse de l’environnement pour le traitement des eaux usées. Ce travail porte sur
l’évaluation de l’activité catalytique d’un complexe tétranucléaire de nickel (II) de formule
[(MeOH)Ni(OMe)(ovan)]4, caractérisé par des techniques physico-chimiques telles que la spectroscopie FT IR, UV-Visible, l’analyse thermogravimétrique (ATG) et la diffraction des rayons X (DRX).L’étude
expérimentale a été menée sur deux colorants organiques : la Rhodamine B (RhB) et le Cristal Violet (CV), en
présence de peroxyde d’hydrogène (H2O2) et sous une lampe UV (254 nm). Les paramètres influents tels que
le volume de H2O2, la masse du catalyseur et le pH du milieu ont été optimisés. Les résultats ont montré une
dégradation quasi totale (100 %) de la RhB et un taux de 88,43 % pour le CV après 120 minutes de traitement.
Ces résultats confirment l’efficacité du complexe de nickel dans la photo-dégradation des polluants
organiques, faisant de cette approche une alternative prometteuse dans le domaine du traitement des eaux
usée

cyberattaques. Les systèmes de détection d‘intrusions (IDS) sont au cœur de cette protection,
mais les méthodes classiques peinent à détecter des attaques de plus en plus sophistiquées.
L‘intelligence artificielle, et plus précisément l'apprentissage automatique (ML), grâce à sa
capacité d‘apprentissage et d‘adaptation, apparaît comme une solution prometteuse pour
améliorer l‘efficacité des IDS. Ce projet vise à explorer comment l‘intelligence artificielle
peut renforcer la détection d‘intrusions et faire évoluer la cybersécurité vers des systèmes plus
intelligents et autonomes
Managing Challenges in Higher Education (Case Study of First Year FILA Students).
No full textIn the matter of exploring English language proficiency in Algerian Higher Education, this
study focuses on FILA (Finance Internationale et L‟Anglais Academique) speciality at
Tlemcen University, addressing challenges and opportunities in EFL (English as a Foreign
Language) learning. Through classroom observation and students‟ and teachers‟
questionnaires, insights were gained into factors influencing student success. Findings reveal
disparities in motivation between Finance and English subjects, emphasizing the need for
tailored language strategies. Despite initial challenges, students recognize the importance of
English proficiency in finance. The study advocates for a supportive learning environment
and practical language practice to empower students‟ success. Collaborative planning and
student-centered approaches are key to enhance FILA language instruction
