No full textCritical thinking and problem-solving abilities are the two fundamental skills that are
sought out in the field of education, especially in the world of English as a Foreign
Language. Although they are crucial, the measurement of these skills has traditionally
been tough. Nevertheless, the advent of artificial intelligence opens up new
opportunities for the reorganization of assessment procedures. This research focuses
on the use of artificial intelligence technology to evaluate the critical thinking
and problem-solving abilities of third-year EFL students at the University of
Tlemcen. This research was an exploratory case study design, using a mixedmethods approach for data gathering. Students’ questionnaires, teachers’ interviews
and classroom observations were the main data collection tools. The findings suggest
that although there is a general positive view of AI tools for assessment, their
implementation is faced with major issues. The participants acknowledge the
advantages of artificial intelligence tools like enhanced efficiencyand standardized
testing, but they raise the issue of the limitations of artificial intelligence in dealing
with the complexity of these skills. In conclusion, artificial intelligence tools can be
a great option to evaluate critical thinking and problem- solving skills, but their
limitations must be dealt with to ensure their full integration into English as a Foreign
Language education

No full textLa cardamome, Elettaria cardamomum, une épice de la famille des Zingibéracées, est connue pour ses propriétés aromatiques et médicinales. Ses graines renferment des composés qui lui confèrent un arôme distinctif et des bienfaits pharmacologiques, incluant des effets antioxydants et anti-inflammatoires. Ce travail s’intéresse à l’étude des propriétés phytochimiques, le dosage des composés phénoliques (Polyphénols totaux et flavonoïdes), et l’évaluation de l’activité antioxydante in vitro par le test du piégeage du radical libre DPPH, et le test du pouvoir réducteur de fer FRAP, des extraits bruts hydrométhanoliques préparés par décoction et macération, et l’analyse chimique de l’huile extraite, à partir des graines d’E. cardamomum. Les résultats de criblage phytochimique des extraits bruts hydrométhanoliques préparés par décoction ou macération ont révélé la présence d'alcaloïdes, de tanins, de quinones libres, de terpénoïdes, ainsi que de composés réducteurs

No full textThe subject of our study is summarized in the strategy of preventive conservation in Algerian museums by addressing the conditions of mosaic preservation in three museums of the national territory: the Ahmed Zabana Museum in Oran, the Cherchell Museum in Tipaza and the Jamila Museum in Setif.
This type of archaeological material and the conditions preserved in it in Algerian museums have been introduced through studied models and a comprehensive view of the state of the preservation medium, whether in exhibition halls or storage.

Les vignobles algériens font face à des conditions climatiques défavorables, marquées par une pluviométrie très irrégulière. Ils souffrent
