Kandungan Kadar Air dan Kadar Protein pada Bakso Ayam Broiler dengan Putih Telur Sebagai Bahan Pengenyal pada Konsentrasi yang Berbeda
Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of egg white at different concentrations on the content of water content and protein content in broiler chicken meatballs. This research uses Completely Randomized Rangcangan (CRD) with three replications and treatment four times, namely T0 = Control, T2 = 15 grams of Egg White, T2 = 30 grams of Egg White, T3 = 75 grams of White Egg. Variety analysis showed the addition of egg whites as pengeyal material at different concentrations significantly affected the content of water content and did not significantly affect the content of protein content. The average water content in the highest to lowest broiler chicken meatballs was obtained from P3 treatment of (61.48%), P0 (58.48%), P1 (53.58%), and P2 (43.32%). The average protein content in the lowest broiler chicken meatballs was obtained from treatment P0 (12.54%), P2 (13.29%), P1 (14.13%), and P3 (15.32%). From the results of research the content of water content and protein content with egg whites as different pengeyal ingredients is 43 grams of egg white. The best water content obtained in P2 treatment with an average value of 43.32%. The best protein content obtained in P3 treatment with an average value of 15.32%.Keywords: broiler, egg white, moisture content, protein conten
Kandungan Kadar Garam dan Susut Masak Bakso Daging Ayam Broiler pada Penambahan Putih Telur Sebagai Bahan Pengenyal pada Konsentrasi yang Berbeda
Abstract. The objective of the research was to find out the effect of adding egg white as the tough material to the salt content and cooking shrinkage of meatballs. The research was held on July to August 2018 in the laboratory of agriculture, animal farm, and fishery faculty, Muhammadiyah university of Parepare and continued analysis of salt content in the live stock chemical laboratory of animal farm Faculty, Hasanuddin Makassar University. The researcher used broiler meat, water, flavoring, garlic, pepper, salt, egg white and ice cube. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design with 4 treatments and 3 repetitions, that is T0 = without tough material, T1 = 15 grams of egg white, T2 = 43 grams of egg white, T3 = 74 grams of egg white. The research result showed that the addition of egg white as the tough material at different concentration have a real impact to the salt content and cooking shrinkage after being continued with the Duncan test it was found that there were differences and significantly affected the salt content and cooking shrinkage meatballs. Kandungan Kalsium (C) dan Fospor (P) Silase Kombinasi Jerami Padi dan Daun Lamtoro Sebagai Pakan Ternak Ruminansia
Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the calcium (Ca) content and phosphorus (p) silage combination of rice straw and lamtoro leaves as a good feed for ruminants. The Research Method used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted of 4 treatments and each treatment was repeated 3 times namely J0 = 100% Rice Straw + 0% Leucaena Leaves (Control), J1 = 60% Rice Straw + 40% Leucaena Leaves, J2 = 70% Rice Straw + 30% Leucaena Leaf and J3 = 80% Rice Straw + 20% Leucaena Leaf. The results showed that the combination of rice straw silage and lamtoro leaves showed that there was a very significant effect (P <0.01) on calcium (ca) and phosphorus (p) on rice straw and lamtoro leaves. The average value of calcium from highest to lowest is J1 (0.86%), J2 (0.82%), J3 (0.75%) and J0 (0.59%). The highest to lowest phosphorus values were J1 (0.29%), J2 (0.27%), J3 (0.23%) and J0 (0.19%). From the results of the study, it is known that the best treatment and can be recommended is J1 treatment consisting of 60% rice straw and 40% lamtoro leaves.Keywords: Rice Straw; Lamtoro Leaves; Silage; Calcium; Phosphor; Ruminant animal
Kandungan Protein dan Kadar Air Bakso Daging Ayam Broiler pada Penambahan Bahan Pengenyal yang Berbeda
Abtract. The study aimed to determine the effect of different meatball enhancers on meatbel protein and to determine the effect of different meatball enhancers against meatball water content. This research was conducted in june 2018 at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries of the University of Muhammadiyah Parepare. Research using broiler chicken meat, water, flavorings, garlic, pepper, salt, egg white, carrageenan, gelatin, tissue, and ice cubes. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatment levels and three replications, namely T0 = without ingreadients, T1 = crisp egg white, T2 = crustacean, T = gelatin. The results of the study showed that with the addition of pulses that the protein content of meatballs had a very real effect and water content in meatball with the addition of different ingredients that are influential real to meatball water content. The highest average protein value to the lowest is T0 is 6.52, T2 is 6.46, T1 is 6.33, T3 is 4,15. The highest average water volues to the lowest were T1 at 63.35, T0 at 63.05, T3 at 62.58, and T2 at 62.44. From the results of the study, it is known that the best treatment and can be recommended is T2 treatment with karagenan crusher.Keywords: Proteins, water content, broiler chicken meat, egg white, carrageenan, and gelatin
Analisis Ekologis Meiofauna Sebagai Bioindikator Di Pesisir Pantai Losari, Makassar
Abstract. The research aims to analyze ecological value of meiofauna as bioindicator in Losari Coast, Makassar. The total meiofauna abundance was 66791 indv/m2, consisted of 12 phylum and 91 species/genus. The stations located at the mouth of the Jeneberang River, Tanjung Merdeka, and the Tallo River are research sites with high levels of abundance, due to the presence of organic contaminants produced by surrounding anthropogenic activity that trigger high growth of meiofauna. ostracoda, oligochaeta, tunicata and ciliophora are the phylum with high levels of abundance compared to other meiofauna, as it that phylum has a high adaptability to the entry of pollutant material in the water. Diversity index and evenness indicates the meioufauna in the Losari Coast categorized by a high level of diversity and evenly distributed. While dominance index indicated that no dominant meifauna species, except at research stations located around the Losari Beach reclamation project. Studi Lama dan Jenis Kontrasepsi Hormonal yang Digunakan dengan Gangguan Menstruasi Akseptor KB Aktif di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Jati Raya Kota Kendari
Abstract. Based on initial observations on hormonal contraceptive KB acceptors in the working area of the Jati Raya Health Center in Kendari City, many acceptors experience menstrual disorders. This study aims to determine the relationship between duration of use and the type of hormonal contraception used with menstrual disorders inactive family planning acceptors in the working area of Jati Raya Health Center, Kendari City. This type of research is an association with the Cross-Sectional Study design. The population in this study was 153 acceptors. The sample was determined by purposive sampling of 138 respondents using a questionnaire. The results showed respondents with a duration of use 1 year (23.2%), the type of hormonal contraception used is; injections (80.4%), pills (13.8%) and implants (5.8%), menstrual disorders before using hormonal contraceptives namely; normal (39.1%) and mild disorders (60.9%) and after using hormonal contraception, mild disorders (15.9%), moderate (39.1%) and severe (44.9%). The results of data analysis with the chi-square test concluded that the length of hormonal contraceptive use was significantly related to menstrual disorders in active KB acceptors in the working area of the Jati Raya Health Center in Kendari City and the type of hormonal contraception used was significantly related to menstrual disorders in active KB acceptors in the Puskesmas work area. Analisa Aktivitas Antioksidan Ekstrak Biji Nangka (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam) dengan Metode Frap (Ferric Reducing Antioxidant Power)
Abstract. Our daily life is very often in contact with free radicals which is one of the causes of disease. To neutralize the work of free radicals Antioxidants are needed. Antioxidants are compounds that donate one or more electrons to oxidant compounds. Jackfruit seeds often become waste that is not used by the community. Jackfruit seeds contain chemicals such as flavonoids, saponins and steroids. This study aims to study and determine the antioxidant activity of jackfruit seed extract (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam.) By the FRAP method (Ferric Reducing Antioxidant Power). The sample was extracted using the maceration method and the extract obtained was analyzed using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 716.20 nm using quercetin as a comparison. Based on data analysis, the average value of antioxidant activity of jackfruit seed extract (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam.) Amounts to 4.8819 mgQE / g extract, meaning that each gram of extract contains 4.8819 mgQE which is in accordance with quercetin standards. EFEKTIVITAS EKSTRAK DAUN KELOR (Moringa oleifera Lamk) DENGAN KONSENTRASI YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP KADAR AIR DAN KADAR PROTEIN TELUR ITIK ASIN
ABSTRACT M. FACHRI FATRAH (NIM. 1215140054). The level of effectiveness of Moringa leaf’s extract (Moringa oleifera lamk) with different concentrations to moisture degree and protein degree of salted duck egg, (guided by Intan Dwi Novieta and Irmayani).The aim of this study is to know the influence of Moringa leaf’s extract (Moringa oleifera Lamk) towards moisture degree and protein degree of salted duck egg. This study use completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments level and 3 replications i.e. K0= without moringa leaf’s extract 0%, K1= addition of moringa leaf’s extract 10%, K2= addition of moringa leaf’s extract 20%, K3= addition of Moringa leaf’s extract 30%.The result of the study showed that by addition of moringa leaf’s extract treatment with difference concentration give a real influence (P<0,01) towards moisture degree and rough protein degree of salted duck egg. The average value of the lowest to the highest moisture degree i.e. K0 (35,67%), K2 (36,36%), K1 (38,47%) and K3 (39,58%). The average value of the highest to the lowest rough protein degree i.e. K0 (20,60%), K2 (19,69%), K3 (19,47%) and K1 (18,98%). Based on the result of the study then the best treatment and can be recommended is the treatment K2 with 20% moringa leaf’s extract addition.Keywords: Moringa Leaf’s Extract, Salted Duck Egg, Moisture Degree, Protein Degre
Pengaruh Paparan Paraquat terhadap Populasi Bakteri yang Berperan sebagai Dekomposer, Pelarut Fosfat, dan Nitrifikasi pada Tanah Perkebunan Desa Batetangnga Sulawesi Barat
Abstrak. Paraquat adalah herbisida yang digunakan secara luas untuk mengontrol pertumbuhan gulma. Penggunaan paraquat dalam jangka panjang dapat mengganggu keseimbangan ekosistem termasuk mikroorganisme tanah karena keberadaan residunya di dalam tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh paparan herbisida paraquat terhadap populasi bakteri yang berperan sebagai dekomposer, pelarut fosfat, dan nitrifikasi pada tanah perkebunan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional. Pengaruh paparan paraquat terhadap populasi mikroba dievaluasi dari nilai Total Plate Count (CFU/g Tanah). Bakteri yang berperan sebagai dekomposer, pelarut fosfat, dan nitrifikasi pada tanah yang terpapar dan yang tidak terpapar herbisida paraquat. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai TPC populasi bakteri yang berperan sebagai dekomposer, pelarut fosfat dan nitrifikasi diantaranya bakteri amilolitik, selulolitik, proteolitik, lipolitik, pelarut fosfat, dan penambat nitrogen pada tanah yang tidak terpapar herbisida paraquat masing-masing sebesar 7.34, 7.04, 7.48, 7.04, 7.77, dan 5.00 (CFU/g). Sedangkan pada tanah yang terpapar herbisida paraquat masing-masing sebesar 6.42, 6.04, 6.25, 6.41, 6.29, dan 4.85 (CFU/g). Efek Ekstrak Kasar Cacing Tanah Pheretima sp. terhadap Morfologi Sel Bakteri Salmonella enteritidis
Abtract. This study was aimed at studying changes in the morphology of Salmonella enteritidis bacterial cells after the crude extract of Pheretima sp. using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Earthworm extraction uses 96% ethanol, and binds to the appropriate bacteria in the exponential phase with extract concentrations of 5% and 10%. Observations using a microscope scanner were carried out after agreeing to a 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour extract. Obtained from the results showing the crude extract of Pheretima sp. to changes in cell morphology of Salmonella enteritidis bacteria. Salmonella enteritidis bacterial cells are damaged consisting of: formed holes in the surface of bacterial cells, bumps on the surface of bacterial cells, shrinkage of bacterial cells, elongation of bacterial cells, and increase in bacterial cells. In addition, as well as longer contributions and free time, incubation, after being added, crude extract of Pheretima sp. against Salmonella enteritidis bacteria, the greater the damage caused. However, 5% extract concentration is the optimal concentration in the effect of damage to the morphology of the cells of Salmonella enteritidis bacteria.Keywords: Coarse Extract, Earthworms, Pheretima sp., Morphological Cells, Salmonella enteritidis, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)
