Pengaruh Umur Starter terhadap Rendaman Nata Nira Aren
Aren (Arenga pinnata, Merr) was one type of palm tree of the family was well known area of the tropics because of various benefits. Starting from the root, stem, bark, leaves, fruits, fibers up to the treetops. The variables in this study were age starter as the independent variable and the yield of sugar as a variable independent. Design used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of three treatments with three replications. Each repeat unit there were 3 observations. So that the overall number of observation units 3 x 3 x 3 = 27. The treatment used in this study, namely: A1 = Age starter 4 days, A2 = Age 6 day starter, starter A3 = Age 8 days. The parameters measured in this study is the yield produced nata, nata yield measured by weighing the first nata formed have drained for 1 hour and then divided by the volume of juice used. Data obtained with the variation (F test) to see the effect on the level sig α = 0.01. When the results showed a treatment effect of the test followed by LSD α = 0.01. The results showed that age affects the formation of nata starter
Pengaruh Lama Perebusan Terhadap Kadar Protein Tempe Kacang Tunggak (Vigna Unguiculata)
This study was an experiment that aims to determine the effect of boiling time on protein content of cowpea tempe. This research was conducted in a laboratory experiment of Biology, Makassar State University and in Central Laboratory of the Ministry of Health Makassar, Indonesia. The sample used cowpea tempe, made using 100 grams cowpea and 0,2 grams of tempe yeast for each sample, and got treatment without boiling as a control and variety of boiling time treatment for 2 minutes, 4 minutes and 6 minutes. This study used a complete randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replication. Determination of protein content by Kjeldahl method. The results showed that the effect of boiling time was very real (P˂0,05) for protein content, where the highest protein levels found in the treatment of boiling for 2 minutes (8,50). It was comparable with boiling for 4 minutes and 6 minutes, but did not different from the control. The lowest protein content was found in boiling treatment for 6 minutes (4,76). So it can be concluded that the longer time boiling, then lower protein content.
Implementasi Soal-Soal Berstruktur Berbasis Information and Communication Technology (ICT) untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Kelas XI IPA1 SMA Negeri 1 Tellu Limpoe Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang
This research was about the Classroom Action Research with the function for growing the activity and outcomes of learning through the ICT Questions Aplplications on learning biology. The Subject of this research was the student of class XI IPA1 SMA 1 Tellu Limpoe, the whole semester school year 2008/2009. It was about 31 students. The implementation of this research, there were two cycle. The data was getting trough 2 instruments, there were the data about the student’s activity during study process in the classroom which getting by sheet observation, and the data about the amount outcomes of learning. The data of student’s activity analyzed by qualitative analysis using the descriptive statistics. The amount of the analysis were: (1) outcomes of learning biology after the questions structural ICT in the first cycle in unsucces category are the score was about 66.32; the high score was 90.62 and the lower score 46.87 from the maximum score may be it can be reach 100; (2) In the second cycle it is in success category, it was about 73, 54 with the high score 91.43 and the lower score is 54.28 from the maximum score which may be can be reach 100. After that, it also expressed by the implementation-structured questions based on ICT, the disorder and belief in theirselves duringa the prosess of the study can be grown up
Pengaruh Pendekatan Inquiry dan Discovery Terhadap Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Walenrang
This research aims to find out the influence of inquiry and discovery approach toward the biology-learning outcome at grade XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Walenrang. This research was quasy experiment with Posttest Only, Non-Equivqlent Control Group Design. This research was done in SMA Negeri 1 Walenrang by taking two classes as research subjects. They were XI IPA3 as experimen group with 39 students who were tought through inquiry and discovery and XI IPA2 with 40 students as control group who were tought through expository aproach. The data of the researh was found by giving result test after all the material had been tought. The data was analyzed showed that the result of experiment group was good categorized with average 77,26 were as result of control group was wortcing on categorized with average 71,17. Based on the test by using test data analysis t where P<0,05 so that Ho rejected and H1 was accepted. It showed that there was influence of inquiry and discovery learning approach toward the biology learning outcome at grade XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Walenrang
Keanekaragaman Jamur Basidiomycota Di kawasan Gunung Bawakaraeng (Studi Kasus: Kawasan Sekitar Desa Lembanna Kecamatan Tinggi Moncong Kabupaten Gowa)
This study was a descriptive research (non-experiment) that aims to describe the details of study area and various mushrooms characteristic that classify Basidiomycota by literature identification. The study area was Lembanna Village of Tinggi Moncong district, Bawakaraeng Mount in Gowa Regency. The base on area selection in pre-study that was Lembanna Village in Bawakaraeng Mount was one of the areas that have the high mushrooms diversity. This study was going in April 2011. The technique of collected data by explores an area to straight saw the mushrooms in their location. The exploration in 07.00 a.m until 16.00 p.m. The data collected were characteristic of mushrooms morphology, the condition of mushrooms when their found, and documentation by took the detail picture to identification interests. The analysis data in qualitative that depend on characteristic of mushrooms morphology in classify basidiomycota and made identification as well classification of mushrooms that found in area studied that depend on resemblance anaylzed with literature of basidiomycota Classis. The resulted of study showed that there were mushrooms basidiomycota classis in Lembanna Village area of Tinggi Moncong district, Bawakaraeng Mount in Gowa Regency. The number of mushrooms were eight (8) that could be discriminate in 2 Subclassis, i.e: Holobasidiomycetidae in Polyporales Ordo that is Ganoderma applanatum, Polyporus arcularius, Polyporus squamosus, Grifola frondosa, Piptoporous betulinus and Russulales Ordo that is Stereum hirsutum, Stereum ostrea, and Heterobasidiomycetidae in Auriculariales Ordo that is Auricularia auricula. So, the conclution of this research, there were several of basidiomycota mushrooms that found in the area studied but not too much. However, dominate of various in the area studies was Polyporales Ordo
Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Grup Investigasi Terhadap Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Bajeng Pada Konsep Ekosistem
This quasy-experimental research aims to discover The Effect of Aplication of cooperative learning models Group Investigation (GI) type in regards to activity and result of the students’ studying at SMA Negeri 1 Bajeng at ecosystem concept. The research hypothesis is that the aplication of cooperative learning model Group Investigation (GI) type gives sicnificant effect to the activity and result of the students’ studying in class X SMAN 1 Bajeng at ecosystem concept. The sample in this research is the students of class X5 at SMA negeri 1 Bajeng as experimental class that included 33 students and the students of class X1 as control class that included 33 students. This research is conducted during 4 meetings. The result of descriptive statistic analysis shows that the average score of experiment class is 77,87 and control class is 70,98. The average score of the experimental class in learning activity is 64,24 and control class is 54,31. The result of inferential analysis techniques for the result of learning shows sig (2-tailed) 0,00 < α (0,05), and for learning activity show sig (2-tailed) 0,26 < α (0,05), then H0 is rejected and H1 is received. The result of correlation analysis techniques in the experimental class is 0,754 and cotrol class is 0,628, then there were the tight correlation between the result of learning and learning activity. From the research result, it can be concluded that there were the Effect of aplication cooperative learning models Group Investigation (GI) type in regards to acvtivity and result of students’ studying, and there were tight correlation between the result of students’ studing and learning activity of students at SMA Negeri 1 Bajeng at ecosystem concept
Penerapan Pembelajaran Model Learning Cycle (Siklus Belajar) untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas Belajar Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP)
This was pre experimental design research with the aim to know student learning activity and study result at the implementation of the learned of learning cycle model. The research was done at state of Junior High School 24, class VIII4 at odd semester academic year 2009/2010. Research design was pretest and posttest group design. Data's on students learning activity during they study were collected using observation sheet, and study results were acquired by using study's result test. Data's of student activity and study result were analyzed qualitative descriptive and inferential. T test was used to analyzed the difference between before and after the learned of learning cycle model. The mean of result study's before and after application of learned of the learning cycle model was 48.00 for the pretest and 65.69 for the posttest, and t student value was 11,11 with P=0.000 at α = 0.01. The research's result showed that learning activities during the application of learned of learning cycle model generally increase, and the difference was very significance between student learning result before and after the learned of learning cycle model being applied
Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Time Token dengan Menggunakan Media Kartu Indeks Terhadap Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Cina Kabupaten
This research is a queasy experiment that aim is to know the influence of using time token learning model by using index cards as a media to the result of student biology learning at XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Cina. The subjects of this research are the students at XI IPA1 as the experiment class and the students at XI IPA2 as control class, with the total number of each class are 30 students for experiment class and 32 students for control class. The experiment has done at both classes for 8 hours meeting (3 times for giving materials and 1 time for evaluation). The data collection has done to evaluate learning result by using written test. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic analysis and inferential analysis. The research result shows (a) from descriptive analysis result, the mean score experiment class result is 77,77 while the control class mean is 63,64. (b) From inferential analysis by using correctness t0,05 shows ttest =5, 24 and ttable = 2,00 so it describe that ttest is higher than ttable. By this experiment result, the researcher concludes that there is an improvement in student’ biology learning result by using time token learning model which uses index card as a media at IX class of SMA Negeri 1 Cina, because experiment class learning result is higher than control class learning result

This research aim to to know nicotine rate which implied in processed tongka tobacco simply in District Bantaeng, because the tobacco don't have lable. This Research benefit to give information at society; what nicotine rate in tongka tobacco within measure to be consumed or not. Nicotine have toksis; besides can addictive or depended also can generate is cancercous. Determining rate nicotine can do it with Titration Asidimetri method. Sampel research consist tobacco which circulate in four market in District Bantaeng. Pursuant to result of research, tongka tobacco nicotine rate which circulate in Lambocca' Market 1,92%, Induk market 1,79%, Dampang market 1,67% and Banyorang market 1,50%. The Nicotine rate altogether smaller than enabled by Industrial Standard of Indonesia that is 2%
Preparasi Kitosan Dari Limbah Udang Windu dan Uji Penurunan Kolesterol pada Kelinci (Oryctolagus cuniculus) secara in vivo
The study was conducted to examined the effects of chitosan on cholesterol rabbit under hypercholesterolemic condition. From 100 g chitin of shrimp produce 55 g chitosan. Total of twelve male rabbits were used for this research.Those rabbits were divided into three groups; (K-)) negative control group, (K+) positive (Hypercholesterolemic) group, which were high cholesterol diet for 7 weeks, P1 and P2 preventive groups , same with group B and supplemented with 5%, 10% chitosan suspension. The results showed that groups which supplemented of chitosan suspension has shown effects on prevent the level of cholesterol
