    ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL POLA BILANGAN DI KELAS VIIIC SMP NEGERI 3 BANAWA: Analysis Of Student’s Errors In Solving Number Pattern Problems In Class VIIIC Of SMP Negeri 3 Banawa

    The study is a qualitative research that aims to describe the students' mistakes in solving number pattern problems in class VIII C SMP Negeri 3 Banawa. The subjects of this study were 2 students drawn from 15 grade VIII C students at SMP Negeri 3 Banawa for the 2022/2023 school year who had studied number pattern material. The selection subjects of this study took into consideration, namely: (1) two students made more mistakes than other students, (2) had different mistakes, (3) mistakes could represent mistakes made by other students, (4) students could communicate well, and (5) recommendations from mathematics teachers of SMP Negeri 3 Banawa. The data collection techniques used are assignments and interviews. The analysis in this study used the Newman stage. The results of this study show several errors experienced by students in solving number pattern problems, namely: (1) Transformation error, namely students are wrong in determining the formula in and do not know the formula to be used in solving the problem, (2) Process ability error, namely students do not change Un to  U12   and Un  to U15, and students are wrong in performing calculation operations, (3) Error writing the final answer, namely students do not know and do not write the final conclusion

    Research aim is obtain description the implementation of the learning model tipe teams games tournament (TGT) to improve learning outcomes student’s on the materials sequences and progression of arithmetic in class XI A SMK Muhammadiyah Sigi. The research is research class action referring to design research by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart that is planning, action, observation dan reflection. The subject of this study were 20 students of class XI A at Muhammadiyah Sigi Vocational High School who were registered in the 2019/2020 who were 20 students. From the subject of research that selected three students as informants. This research was conducted in two cycles. Based on the results of the final action test, the percentage of student’classical learning completeness in the first cycle was 60% and the percentage of student’classical learning completeness in the second cycle was 85%. For the results of observations of teacher and student activities in the first cycle were in the good category and the second cycle was in the very good category. The result showed that the implementation of learning model cooperative type TGT can improve learning outcomes student’s on the materials sequences and progression of arithmetic  in class XI A SMK Muhammadiyah  Sigi, with levels are: 1) presentation of class, 2) Teams, 3) game, 4) Tournaments, and 5) awards of group

    The purpose of this research is to describe the application of discovery learning model to improve students' learning achievement in surface area material and prism volume in grade VIII A Kristen GPID junior high school, Palu. The type of research is class action research (PTK). The design of the research refers to the research design of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of four components, namely (1) planning; (2) action; (3) observation; and (4) reflection. This research conducted in two cycles. The subject of the study was a grade VIII student at GPID Palu, Christian Junior High School, with 16 students, consisting of 7 male students and 9 female students. The results of the study showed that the observation results of the activities of teachers in cycle I are obtaining the criteria of good success level, and have improved in cycle II, that is obtaining the criteria of excellent success level.  The percentage of classical learning completion of cycle I is 67% and in cycle II is 81%. The results of this study showed that the application of discovery learning model can improve student learning achievement by following the phases of discovery learning model, namely: (1) stimulation or stimulation, in this phase the teacher gives problems about surface area and prism volume, (2) statement or problem identification (problem statement), in this phase the teacher asks students to hypothesize from the problem in the first phase, (3) data collection, in this phase the teacher invites students to collect information that used to solve problems, (4) data processing, in this phase the teacher asks students to fill out the LKS with their group friends and percentage in front of the class, (5) verification, in this phase the teacher asks students to do LKS 2 which is to prove the formula that has been obtained in a different way so as to obtain the same concept , and (6) draw conclusions and generalizations that are concluding the material studied.&nbsp

    This study aims to obtain a description of the mathematical connection ability of students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Kasimbar on optimization material. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Kasimbar with high, medium and low math abilities. Date were collected through written tests and interviews. The results of this study indicate that subjects with high mathematical abilities HD can use the relationship between mathematical concepts on the problem to be solved, can use the relationship between concepts and procedures and arithmetic operations in solving problems outside of mathematics and can apply mathematical concepts to other fields of study. Subjects with medium mathematical abilities MU can use the relationship between mathematical concepts on the problem to be solved, can use the relationship between concepts and procedures and arithmetic operations in solving problems outside of mathematics and can apply mathematical concepts to other fields of study. Subject with low math abilities RY can apply mathematical concepts to other fields of study

    This study aims to obtain a description of the application of the Quantum Teaching model to improve student learning outcomes on enumeration rules in class XII MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sirenja. This research is a Classroom Action Research with the design of Kemmis and Mc Taggrat. This research was conducted in two cycles totaling 32 students. In cycle I classical learning completeness was 55.17%  while cycle II was 65.62%. The results showed that through the application of the Quantum Teaching  model, student learning outcomes improved by following the phases of the Quantum Teaching model, namely (1)enrolling, researchers providing apperception and motivation through powerpoint and video shows (cycle II), (2)experiencing, students working on worksheets with their groups and playing them.  music as a sign of starting worksheets, (3) labeling, students make conclusions from the worksheets with their groups, (4) demonstrating, the researcher directs the students to discuss the rules of enumeration, (5)reviewing, the students convey the essence of the material they have learned, (6)celebrating, the researcher plays the game and gives awards to the students

    This research aims to describe the types of errors made by class VII D students of SMP Negeri 7 Palu in solving line and angle problems based on gender. Data was obtained from the results of written assignments and interviews. The research subjects consisted of one male student (AA) and one female student (YS). The results of the research show that there are similarities and differences between male and female students in making written assignments number 1 and 2. Male and female students make the same mistakes in written assignment number 1. The similarities are: 1) Errors of not understanding the concept of the relationship between angles that are supplementary to each other, 2) the error of not understanding the concept of the relationship between the interior and exterior angles of a triangle, 3) the error of not solving the problem according to the instructions, 4) the error of not being coherent in the calculation steps, 5) the error of using arithmetic operation signs, 6) Error calculating the value of a calculation operation. Meanwhile, in written assignment number 2, there were differences in errors made by male and female students. The male students' mistakes were: 1) The male students were correct in doing the questions according to the instructions but not completely or comprehensively, 2) The male students were not careful and rushed in solving the questions. The female student's mistakes in written assignment number 2 were: 1) The female student was correct in choosing the formula but could not apply the formula, 2) The female student solved the problem not according to the procedure ordered. The similarity between male and female students in completing written assignment number 2 is that in the problem solving procedure they can group similar and dissimilar terms in the written assignment

    The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of the application of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) cooperative learning model which can improve learning outcomes on matrix count operations in class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Parigi Utara. This research is a collaborative classroom action research which refers to the research design of Kemmis and MC. Taggart, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation of action, (3) observation and (4) reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Parigi Utara. This research was conducted by following the steps of the think pair share (TPS) cooperative learning model, namely 1) giving students' perceptions and motivation, 2) dividing students into small groups of students consisting of 2 people per group, 3) presenting information and ask questions, (4) think individually (think), (5) discuss with group friends (pairs), (6) share the results of discussions with group friends (share), (7) draw conclusions, (8) evaluate. The results showed that learning by applying the think-pair-share type of cooperative learning model could improve students 'mathematical understanding skills as indicated by the change in students' knowledge in cycle I for the better in cycle II. Changes in student knowledge can be seen from the results of the final test analysis of students' actions in the first cycle of 43.75% and an increase in the second cycle of 90.91%

    The purpose of this study was  to obtain a description of the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to improve student learning outcomes in trigonometry comparison materials in class X MIPA-1 SMA 1 Bambalamotu. The type of  research used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR) developed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which carried out consists of 3 stages, namely (1)  Planning, (2) the Implementation of  actions and observations and (3) reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study were all students of class X MIPA-1 as many as 30 students and 3 students were selected as informants with high, medium, and low abilities. The results sgowed that the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach could improve student learning outcomes in the Triginimetry Comparison Material of Class X MIPA-1 SMA Negeri 1 Bambalamotu by following the CTL components contained in the learning activities as follows : 1) Contructivism; 2) Inquiry; 3) Learning Comonity; 4) Question; 5) Modeling; 6) Reflection; and 7) Authentic assessment. The results of observation of teacher and student activities also experienced an increase where in cycle I there were still those who got less scores, but in cycle II all aspects that were assessed were getting good and very good ratings. The results of the final action test obtained by the students experienced completeness as many as 13 people and increased in the second cycle, it was obtained that 25 students experienced comletenness

    This study aims to determine whether or not there is a significant influence between learning models on the learning outcomes of students in class X MIPA SMA GKST 1 Tentena. The research method used in this study is an experimental method that aims to see the causal relationship. The population of this study were all X MIPA students of SMA GKST 1 Tentena as many as 92 people consisting of 3 classes. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. The sample in this study consisted of 60 students in the 2023/2024 school year, 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. The results of data analysis that have been obtained, the average score of students in the experimental class is 88.77 with a standard deviation of 8.199, while the average score of students in the control class is 84.47 with a standard deviation of 7.468. The results of hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test showed that there was a significant effect of the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model on the learning outcomes of GKST 1 Tentena High School student

    The purpose of this research is to describe the application of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) type of cooperative learning model in the social aritmhmetic  material which can improve the learning outcomes of VIIB grade students of SMPN 7 Palu. The research design refers to the design of Arikunto, which consists of 4 components, namely: (1) planning, (2) acting (3) observing and (4) reflection. The data collected is in the form of teacher and student activity data through observation sheets, interview results, and field notes. This research was conducted in two cycles totaling 18 students. The results showed that the application of the cooperative learning model type TSTS can improve the learning outcomes in the social arithmetic material in class VIIB students of SMPN 7 Palu by following the steps as follows: (1) preparation for learning, (2) conveying information, (3) organizing students into cooperative groups, (4) thinking together, (5) evaluating, (6) giving awards
