周産期の日本人女性において、父親および母親からの高いケアと低い過保護は、パートナーとの安全な愛着スタイルを予測する
新潟大学Niigata University博士(医学)This study aimed to determine how paternal and maternal parenting before adolescence affects adult attachment to a partner during the perinatal period, using three different models of attachment. We used the Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI) and the Relationship Questionnaire (RQ) to examine perceived parenting practices and adult attachment styles, respectively. The participants included 4586 Japanese women who were pregnant or who had given birth, up until one month after childbirth. We performed structural equation modeling analysis between PBI and RQ scores with three different category models, including the four-category model (secure, fearful, preoccupied, and dismissive attachment) as Model 1, the two-category model (model of the self and others) as Model 2, and the single-category model (total attachment style) as Model 3. Models 1 and 2 showed a good fit. Both path models showed a significant association between adult attachment style and perceived paternal and maternal parenting before adolescence, where high care and low overprotection from both paternal and maternal parents predicted adult attachment. Our findings indicate that attachment styles are best described using the four-category and two-category models, and suggest that both paternal and maternal overprotection and care influence adult attachment with a partner during the perinatal period.Zain, E., Fukui, N., Watanabe, Y. et al. 老齢期の骨再生におけるマクロライド-DEL-1の新機軸
新潟大学Niigata University博士(歯学)Aging is associated with increased susceptibility to chronic inflammatory bone loss disorders, such as peri-odontitis, in large part due to the impaired regenerative potential of aging tissues. DEL-1 exerts osteo-genic activity and promotes bone regeneration. However, DEL-1 expression declines with age. Here we show that systemically administered macrolide antibiotics and a non-antibiotic erythromycin deriva-tive, EM-523, restore DEL-1 expression in 18-month-old ("aged") mice while promoting regeneration of bone lost due to naturally occurring age-related periodontitis. These compounds failed to induce bone regeneration in age-matched DEL-1-deficient mice. Consequently, these drugs promoted DEL-1-depen-dent functions, including alkaline phosphatase activity and osteogenic gene expression in the periodontal tissue while inhibiting osteoclastogenesis, leading to net bone growth. Macrolide-treated aged mice ex-hibited increased skeletal bone mass, suggesting that this treatment may be pertinent to systemic bone loss disorders. In conclusion, we identified a macrolide–DEL-1 axis that can regenerate bone lost due to aging-related disease.
新潟大学Niigata University博士(医学)[Purpose] Quadriceps muscle strength is essential for daily living activities. Therefore, we developed a compact and simple lower limb muscle strength measuring device (LocomoScan [LCS]). This study aimed to com-pare LCS with other instruments to analyze its simplicity, reproducibility, and accuracy. [Participants and Methods] One hundred and four healthy university students (56 males and 48 females) were included in the study. The knee extension force was measured using LCS, and the knee extension torque was measured using other devices (Cybex). In addition, lower leg muscle mass was measured using a body composition meter. The reproducibility of LCS and the correlation between the knee extension torque and lower leg muscle mass were evaluated. [Results] The relative reliability of Cybex with knee extension torque. A relationship between knee extension force and lower limb muscle mass was also observed, indicating that muscle mass cannot be estimated as muscle strength. [Conclusion] The high reproducibility of the knee extension force measurement using LCS demonstrates its potential as a por-table alternative instrument for muscle strength measurement in clinical practice. Therefore, LCS device is a simple and effective tool for assessng muscle strength.Atsushi Nawata, Hiroshi Koga, Rieko Sasaki, Hiroshi Watanabe, Go Omori, Yoshio Koga, Hiroyuki Kawashima, Accuracy of a portable lower-limb muscle strength measuring device with a training function, Journal of Physical Therapy Science, 2024, Volume 36, Issue 6, Pages 343-351, Released on J-STAGE June 01, 2024, Online ISSN 2187-5626, Print ISSN 0915-5287, https://doi.org/10.1589/jpts.36.343, https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/article/jpts/36/6/36_2023-147/_article/-char/en新大院博(医)第1215
血清アポリポ蛋白A2値は経皮的冠動脈インターベンションを受けた患者における将来の心血管イベントの強力な予測因子である
新潟大学Niigata University博士(医学)Background: Because apolipoprotein-A2 (ApoA2),a key component of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), lacks clear clinical significance, we investigated its impact on cardiovascular events in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods and Results: We examined 638 patients who underwent PCI with a new-generation drug-eluting stent for acute or chronic coronary syndrome and had their apolipoprotein levels measured between 2016 and 2021. The patients were divided into 2 groups based on the median serum ApoA2. values, and the incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) was assessed. Of the 638 patients, 563 (88%) received statin treatment, with a median serum LDL-C level of 93 mg/dl. Furthermore, 137 patients (21.5%) experienced MACE, and Kaplan-Meier analysis revealed that the higher ApoA2 group had a significantly lower incidence of MACE than the lower ApoA2 group (30.9% vs. 41.6%). However, the other apolipoproteins, including ApoA1, ApoB, ApoC2, ApoC3, and ApoE, showed no significant differences in MACE. Multivariable Cox hazard analysis indicated that ApoA2 was an independent predictor of MACEs (hazard ratio, 0.666; 95% confidence interval, 0.465-0.954). Furthermore, ApoA2 levels exhibited the strongest inverse association with high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels (rs=-0.479). Conclusions: Among all the apolipoproteins, the serum ApoA2 level may be the strongest predictor of future cardiovascular events and prognosis in patients undergoing PCI.Takumi Akiyama, Ryutaro Ikegami, Naoki Kubota, Toshiki Takano, Shintaro Yoneyama, Takeshi Okubo, Makoto Hoyano, Kazuyuki Ozaki, Takayuki Inomata, Serum Apolipoprotein-A2 Levels Are a Strong Predictor of Future Cardiovascular Events in Patients Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, Circulation Journal, 2024, Volume 88, Issue 11, Pages 1770-1777, Released on J-STAGE October 25, 2024, Advance online publication June 20, 2024, Online ISSN 1347-4820, Print ISSN 1346-9843, https://doi.org/10.1253/circj.CJ-24-0242, https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/article/circj/88/11/88_CJ-24-0242/_article/-char/en新大院博(医)第1229
