    Gospodarski i fiskalni učinci audiovizualne djelatnosti i državne potpore/poticaji u Hrvatskoj

    Glavni je cilj istraživačkog projekta bio ocijeniti gospodarske i fiskalne učinke AV djelatnosti (poduzeća iz djelatnosti proizvodnje i distribucije filmova, video filmova i televizijskog programa) i usporediti s visinom dobivenih državnih potpora djelatnosti. U projektu su se usporedili učinci državnih potpora/poticaja s gospodarskim (doprinos bruto domaćem proizvodu i zaposlenosti) i fiskalnim učincima (utjecaja na prihode proračuna) te ocijenili neizravni gospodarski učinci djelatnosti

    Reforme zakonske zaštite zaposlenja i ishodi na tržištu rada u Hrvatskoj

    U radu se analiziraju učinci reforme zakonodavstva o zaštiti zaposlenja na tržište rada uHrvatskoj koristećiteorijske pretpostavke o parcijalnimreformama tržišta rada iz literature. Uz 'poticaj' zbog pristupanja EU, reforme su, pred kraj šestogodišnje recesije, liberalizirale odredbe o zaštiti zaposlenja i za ugovore na određeno (2013.) i na neodređeno (2014.), čineći tako jedinstven slučaj za evaluaciju javnih politika. Koristeći podatke Ankete o radnoj snazi u razdoblju 2007. ‐ 2017. i primjenjujući metodu studije događaja (engl. event study) u kombinacijis binarnimregresijama vjerojatnosti(engl. probit regressions), glavni nalazi sugeriraju da su reforme zaštite zaposlenja iz 2013. i 2014. dovele do porasta privremenog zapošljavanja, dok su učinci na ukupnu zaposlenost jasno vidljivisamo nakon druge reforme.Nadalje, rezultati probit regresije pokazuju da određene skupine stanovništva – žene, mladi, stranci, niskokvalificirani i samci iz ruralnih područja – imaju veću vjerojatnost da će završiti na poslovima s ugovorima na određeno, što upućuje na postojanje segmentacije na hrvatskom tržištu rada

    In late September 2020, Dublin-based European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) published a new report presenting the results of a survey on the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on personal and professional lives of citizens across the European Union (EU). The period between April and July 2020, despite showing a mild improvement in terms of working hours and job security, also saw a very unfavourable cumulative social and economic impact of the pandemic on citizens’ lives, especially for women and young people. Croatian respondents to the survey highlighted significant existential problems, they are pessimistic with regard to their financial future and have very low levels of trust in the national governments and the EU

    Prijedlog gradskog proračuna za 2021. složen je i opsežan dokument koji prikazuje iz kojih se izvora planira prikupljati i trošiti gradski novac, pa je stoga značajan za sve stanovnike Grada Zagreba. Cilj je ovog kratkog vodiča pružiti što jednostavnije i sažetije, osnovne informacije o tom prijedlogu i potaknuti građane da se uključe u proračunski proces. Na taj način mogu pridonijeti kvalitetnijim i učinkovitijim gradskim uslugama usklađenim s potrebama i željama građana s jedne, te mogućnostima Grada s druge strane. Osim ovog kratkog vodiča, na mrežnim stranicama Grada dostupne su i podrobnije informacije o Prijedlogu proračuna za 2021., a opće informacije o gradskom proračunu i proračunskom procesu u Vodiču kroz proračun Grada Zagreba

    The importance of digital literacy on the labour market

    The purpose of the paper is to examine relationship among digital skills and employment and in this way accentuate importance of policy interventions for improving digital literacy. Digital skills, particularly digital literacy, are an important factor for socioeconomic development of the society and employability of the labour force. Without adequate digital literacy, it is not possible to participate in the economy and the digital society, particularly having in mind the digital transformation that the world of work is experiencing in the content and the organisation. Beyond the work environment, it also affects the way people live and communicate. In the paper is elaborated importance and definition of digital literacy, explained the measurement of digital literacy and skills, as well as relation between digital literacy and employability. Using Eurostat data this paper demonstrates statistically significant correlation between digital skills and employment rates in EU. This implies why it is so important for governments and employers to seek, propose and implement new strategies to promote digital inclusion, literacy and the training not only for new ICT professionals but for the whole workforce
