Attıtude Scale Of Statistics, Development, Relıabılıty And Valıdıty Studies.
In this research, it has been aimed to develop a measurement tool that can determine the teacher
candidates’ attitudes toward statistics. Study group of the research has consisted of 401 teacher

based on correlation made on 50 items formed during the development of the scale, non

The capacity of some newly bacteria and fungi for biodegradation of herbicide trifluralin under agiated culture media.
Bioremediation is the use of microorganisms to degrade environmental contaminants (pesticides, polyaromatic hydrocarbons etc.) into less toxic forms or compounds. In this study microbial biodegradation of trifluralin was performed in liquid media with 11 different types of identified fungi and bacteria cultures and their mixtures in agiated culture media. The isolated fungi and bacteria mixtures showed the highest degradation, reaching 93% in the chemical oxygen demand (COD) parameter in four days and 82% as trifluralin active ingredient in five days. Bacteria and fungi mixtures achieved 69% and 66% degradations of trifluralin active ingredient respectively. In the fungi studies, the best removal was achieved by M.Chlamydosporia at 80%, in the bacteria studies, the best removal was achieved by Bacillus simplex about 95% in five days. The Effects of Dietary Antioxidants on the Arginase Activity and Nitric Oxide Level of Narrow-Clawed Turkish Crayfish (Astacus leptodactylus, Esch. 1823) in Moulting Period
The effects of dietary antioxidants (vitamine E, vitamine C, Astaxhantin, β carotene) on arginase activity and nitric oxide levels of hepatopancreas and muscle of freshwater crayfish (Actacus leptodactylus) were investigated during moulting.150 mg kg-1 vitamine E (VE), 200 mg kg-1 vitamine C (VC), 200 mg kg-1 Astaxhantin and 200 mg kg-1 β carotene were added to experimental diets. A. leptodactylus with these diets were fed with 2% of their total weight daily, in a day during 75 days. Arginase activity was increased in muscle of crayfish fed the diets VC, VE, astaxanthin and β karoten but in hepatopancreas arginase activity was increased with β carotene when compared to control. NO levels in muscle were
decreased when compared to control but this decrease was not statically significant. NO levels in hepatopancreas of crayfish fed the diets VC and astaxanthin were higher than control groups. Knowledge and practice in fever management of mothers with children under the age of five
Amaç: Araştırmanın amacı çocuk kliniklerine başvuran 5 yaş altı çocuğa sahip annelerin çocuklarında ateş görülme durumlarını ve annelerin
ateş yönetimine ilişkin bilgi ve uygulamalarını değerlendirmektir.
Yöntem: Araştırma Eylül 2015-Şubat 2016 tarihleri arasında, herhangi
bir nedenle bir devlet hastanesinin çocuk polikliniğine başvuran ve
araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 5 yaş altı çocuğa sahip 180 anne ile
yürütüldü. Veriler araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan soru formu
kullanılarak yaklaşık 10-15 dakika içerisinde yüz yüze görüşme tekniği kullanılarak toplandı. Elde edilen veriler SSPS programında sayı,
yüzde, ki kare testleriyle analiz edildi.
Bulgular: Yaş ortalaması 30.03±5.25 olan annelerin %42.8’i lise mezunu, %86.7’si çekirdek aileye sahip, %85.0’ı sosyal güvence kapsamında olup, %70.6’sı gelir durumunu orta düzey olarak ifade etti.
Çocukların yaş ortalaması 3.12±1.45 idi. Annelerin %88.3’ü çocuklarının son bir yılda ateş sorunu yaşadığını, %87.2’si evde çocuklarına ait
derece bulundurduğunu, %96.7’si çocuklarının ateşlerini ölçebildiğini
ve %70.7’si vücut sıcaklığının 38°C ve üstü olmasını ateş olarak değerlendirdiğini ifade etti. Annelerin öğrenim ve çalışma durumu ile ateşe
karar verme yöntemi arasında anlamlı fark görüldü.
Sonuç: Elde edilen verilere göre, annelerin ateş yönetimi ile ilgili bilgi
ve uygulamaları yetersiz olup, eğitim ve danışmanlık alma gereksinimleri vardır
Adsorption of Bisphenol A from aqueous solutions by Pleurotus eryngii immobilized on Amberlite XAD-4 using as a new adsorbent
The adsorption of bisphenol A (BPA) in a fixed-bed column was evaluated in this work. Fungus Pleurotus eryngii isolated from Tunceli (Turkey) immobilized on XAD-4 resin was used as an adsorbent for decontamination of BPA from aqueous solutions. The extent of BPA removal capacity was evaluated as a function of parameters such as pH, volume of the sample, and column bed height. Adsorption isotherms of BPA on immobilized P. eryngii were determined and correlated with common isotherm equations such as Langmuir and Freundlich models. The mechanism of adsorption of BPA was analyzed preadsorption (XAD-4 + fungus) and postadsorption (XAD-4 + fungus + BPA) using fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The results show that adsorption ability of BPA by immobilized P. eryngii is possible and this system yields the best degree of BPA removal (90%) at pH 11 for an initial load of 120 mg L−1. Therefore, this material can be used as a very effective adsorbent for BPA decontamination in aqueous solutions
The effect of birth type and sex of kids on milk lactose levels
This research was conducted in order to learn the effects of birth type (single or twins) in goats and sex of kids upon milk lactose levels. Therefore, 14 native goats (kıl) based on birth type and another 14 native goats (kıl) based on sex of kids were divided into two groups. Milk sample for once was obtained from the kids in the 3rd and 4th weeks of lactation. Lactose levels were specified as the mean of two weeks. As a result of series of analysis, no statistical differences were found in terms of milk lactose levels in the goats giving birth to female and male kids. However, it was found that birth type had a significant effect on milk lactose level. Also, it was found that milk lactose levels of the goats giving birth to twins were lower than milk lactose levels of the dams giving birth to one offspring. According to the results of the research, it can be said that it will be relatively advantageous for the ones showing mild lactose intolerance to prefer milk of the goats giving birth to twins
Melez elektromanyetizma benzeri-parçacık sürü optimizasyon algoritması
Optimizasyon, bir problemin alternatif çözümleri içinden en uygununu seçme işlemidir. Optimizasyon problemlerinin çözümü için, kabul edilebilir sürede optimuma yakın çözümler verebilen birçok sezgisel optimizasyon algoritması önerilmiştir. Literatürde çok başarılı sezgisel optimizasyon algoritmaları bulunsa da; tüm problemlerin çözümü için en optimum çözümü bulan algoritmalar henüz tasarlanmamıştır. Bu yüzden yeni sezgisel optimizasyon algoritmaları önerilmekte ya da var olanların daha etkili çalışması için öneriler sunulmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, global optimizasyon için, Elektromanyetizma Benzeri (EM) algoritma ile Parçacık Sürü Optimizasyon (PSO) algoritmasının birleşiminden oluşan yeni bir melez yöntem olan EM-PSO önerilmiştir. Önerilen yöntemde, PSO algoritmasının hız denklemindeki sabit katsayılar yerine EM algoritmasındaki yük ve toplam kuvvet değerleri kullanılmış ve EM algoritmasındaki parçacıkların hareketi bu denklem ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Önerilen yöntemin performansı beş farklı kalite testi fonksiyonu kullanılarak test edilmiştir ve sonuçlar standart EM ve PSO algoritmalarının sonuçları ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Deneysel sonuçlar, önerilen yöntemin standart EM ve PSO algoritmalarına göre daha başarılı olduğunu göstermiştir
Türkiye'de proje tabanlı öğrenme yaklaşımını temel alan çalışmaların değerlendirilmesi: Bir içerik analizi çalışması.
The aim of this study is to undertake a content analysis of theses prepared on project-based learning between 2003 and 2013, and to uncover their trends. The theses that tackled project-based learning were scanned within the Council of Higher Education database by searching the keywords "project-based and project-supported". The 99 theses listed were subjected to content analysis using publication classification form. These theses were reviewed in terms of "the year of publication, type, university of origin, purpose of study and results, working group, sample size and research model". The result of this research suggests that the studies on project-based learning were mostly conducted over primary school students and the preferred sample size were between 17 to 146 individuals and the most used research model was experimental. Also, almost half of the studies were conducted within institutes of educational sciences, and most studies were in the form of a master's thesis. The most common purpose of these studies was found to be academic achievement goals. So in this context, it would be useful to include project-based learning and other learning fields together
Investigation of the changes in melt flow indexes (MFI) and densities of polyamide 6 (PA6) and polyoxymethylene (POM) related with hydrolyzed powder coating waste amount
Yapılan bu çalışmada, polioksimetilenin (POM) ve poliamid 6'nın içerdikleri hidrolize edilmiş elektrostatik toz boya atık miktarına bağlı eriyik akış indeksleri ve yoğunluklarındaki değişimler araştırılmıştır. Hidrolize edilmiş elektrostatik toz boya atıkları termoplastik ve termoset yapıdaki elektrostatik toz boyaların kullanılması sonucunda oluşan atıkların karışımını içermektedir. Bu atıklar ayrı ayrı poliamid 6 ve polioksimetilen içerisine ağırlıkça farklı (%10, %20 ve %30) oranlarında karıştırılarak karışımlar oluşturulmuş ve bu karışımların akışkanlıkları ile yoğunluklarındaki değişimler belirli sıcaklık ve basınç altında incelenmiştir. Böylelikle poliamid 6 (PA6) ve polioksimetilenin (POM) akışkanlıkları ve yoğunluklarının, artan hidrolize edilmiş elektrostatik toz boya atık miktarına bağlı olarak nasıl değişim gösterdiği tespit edilerek grafiklerle ortaya konmuştu
Traditional knowledge on wild plants in Üzümlü (Erzincan-Turkey)
This survey was conducted in Üzümlü district and its surrounding villages in order to determine the useful plants consumed for different ethnobotanical purposes such as animal fodder, ornamental plant, good, fuel, and dye by the local people living in the area between 2010 and 2011 summer vegetation periods. Totally 77 traditional uses of 64 plant taxa were determined at the end of the study. The biggest families with the numbers of taxa were Fabaceae (10), Asteraceae (9), Rosaceae (6), Salicaceae (4) Brassicaceae, Poaceae, and Liliaceae (3). All parts of 42 plants, stems of 11 plants, flowers of 6 plants, branches of 5 plants, seeds of 3 plants, fruits of 3 plants, aerial parts of 2 plants, fruit exocarp of 2 plants, and root of 1 plant were determined to be used for different purposes. In addition, local names and ethnobotanical aspects of totally 17 taxa (26.5 %) were presented firstly in this study. East Anatolia is a very important region of Turkey in terms of plant diversity, and many studies have been conducted on the traditional use
