    Öğretmen Adayları İçin Yeni Bir Yaklaşım: Öznel Zindelik

    Zihinsel pozitif enerjinin varlığı olan öznel zindelik yaklaşımı canlı, neşeli, uyarılmış, enerji dolu ve diri bireyleri ifade etmektedir. Diğer bir ifadeyle bireylerin canlılık ve uyanıklık hali ile kendiliğinden var olan enerjisinin göstergesi olarak kabul edilen bu yaklaşım, son zamanlarda pozitif psikolojinin önemli çalışma konularından biri olmuştur. Bireyin en önemli unsur olduğu eğitim alanında da psikoloji ile ilgili çalışmaların bu alandaki yansımasını belirlemek kaçınılmazdır. Eğitimin temel taşı olan öğretmenin hayata pozitif ve enerji dolu bakması ve mesleğinde de aynı olumlu duyguları yansıtması bu açıdan önem taşımaktadır. Bu bağlamda öğretmen olma niyetiyle formasyon programına başvuran öğretmen adaylarının öznel zindelik durumlarının belirlenmesi araştırmanın amacını oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılında Fırat Üniversitesi'ne bağlı Eğitim Bilimleri Bölümün'de formasyon öğrenimi gören 50 öğrenci belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin görüşleri alınmak üzere yarı yapılandırılmış bir görüşme formu oluşturulmuştur. Oluşturulan form çalışma grubuna uygulanmış ve veriler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Öğrenci görüşlerine göre elde edilen bulgular ve sonuçlara yer verilecektir

    Experimental and Numerical Investigation of a Longfin Inshore Squid’s Flow Characteristics

    In the present study, a three-dimensional numerical squid model was generated from a computed tomography images of a longfin inshore squid to investigate fluid flow characteristics around the squid. The threedimensional squid model obtained from a 3D-printer was utilized in digital particle image velocimetry (DPIV) measurements to acquire velocity contours in the region of interest. Once the three-dimensional numerical squid model was validated with DPIV results, drag force and coefficient, required jet velocity to reach desired swimming velocity for the squid and propulsion efficiencies were calculated for different nozzle diameters. Besides, velocity and pressure contour plots showed the variation of velocity over the squid body and flow separation zone near the head of the squid model, respectively. The study revealed that viscous drag was nearly two times larger than the pressure drag for the squid’s Reynolds numbers of 442500, 949900 and 1510400. It was also found that the propulsion efficiency increases by 20% when the nozzle diameter of a squid was enlarged from 1 cm to 2 cm.TÜBİTAK 111M598 nolu proj

    The wastewaters containing organic and inorganic pollutants after many industrial processes such as metal plating, mining, textile, alloy, battery and industrial chemicals, are often discharged to environment. Heavy metals among these pollutants have highly stable, toxic, non-degradable and carcinogenic characters. They affect not only ecological system, but also human health and many life forms. Therefore, these contaminants should be eliminated or reduced to allowable levels before releasing to environment. Most of heavy metals have toxic character even at low concentrations of about 0.1-0.3 ppm. Treatment technologies such as filtration, ion exchange, precipitation, electrodeposition, reverse osmosis, sedimentation, and adsorption have been applied for removal of heavy metals from aqueous solutions. Adsorption is one of the most common and widely applied methods to eliminate the metal ions from waste solutions because of its simplicity and cost effectiveness. Activated carbon, clay minerals, ion exchange resins and various agricultural residues can be used as adsorbent materials in this process [1-3]

    Çıldır Gölü'ndeki kerevit (Astacus leptodactylus Eschscholtz, 1823) avcılığının sosyal, yapısal ve ekonomik yönden değerlendirilmesi

    Bu çalışma Çıldır Gölü (Ardahan/Kars) kooperatif üyesi balıkçıların sosyo-ekonomik analizinin incelenmesi amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Balıkçıların tamamının bu kooperatiflere üye oldukları ve bunların dışında başka bir sivil toplum kuruluşuna üye olmadıkları belirlenmiştir. Balıkçıların yaşlarının 34 ile 74 arasında değiştiği, %100'ünün evli ve eşlerinin yaşlarının ise 20 ile 70 arasında olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Genellikle %74 oranı ile ilköğretim mezunu oldukları saptanmıştır. Balıkçıların %65.21'i meslekleriyle ilgili özel bir eğitim almıştır. Balıkçıların %17.4'ünün balıkçılık dışında herhangi bir geçim kaynaklarının olmadığı, geriye kalan %82.6'sının ise tarım, hayvancılık veya farklı alanlarda da faaliyet gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Genellikle 1 adet tekneye sahip oldukları, teknelerin çoğunluğunun 6 m boyunda ve demirden yapılmış oldukları belirlenmiştir. Aile bireylerinin % 43.47'sinin avcılık faaliyetlerine katıldığı görülmüştür. Teknelerin hepsinin mülkiyeti balıkçıların kendisine ait olup, %30.4'ü tekneyi ailelerin yardımı ile aldıklarını bildirmişlerdir. Balıkçıların kerevit avcılığında pinter ve balık avcılığında fanyalı ağları kullandıkları tespit edilmiştir. Balıkçılar AB ve kalkınma ajansı destekleri ile mazot ÖTV indirimlerinden faydalanmadıklarını beyan etmişlerdir. Balıkçıların %56.53'ü balıkçılıkdan elde edilen gelirin yeterli olmadığını ve ek iş olarak restaurant işletmeciliğinden %59.3 ile en fazla kazanç elde ettiklerini söylemişlerdir. Çıldır Gölü balıkçıları mesleklerinin ekonomik olarak yetersiz bulsalar dahi, %60.87 orana sahip 14 balıkçının, ek gelir kaynağı, alışkanlık, tutku/ hobi, babadan kalma meslek ve suya yakın olmaları nedenlerinden bir veya bir kaçının içinde barınması nedeni ile bu işi yapmaktan mutlu oldukları saptanmıştır.Tunceli Üniversitesi YLTUB016-15 Nolu Proj

    Developments in transfer hydrogenations of aromatic ketones catalyzed by boron compounds

    Boron complexes BL1 and BL2 were prepared from O-donor ligands, 2,2′-(1E,1′E)-(ethane-1,2-diylbis(azan-1-yl-1-ylidene))bis(methane-1-yl-1-ylidene)diphenol (L1) and 2,2′-(propane-1,3-diylbis(azan-1-yl-1-ylidene))bis(methane-1-yl-1-ylidene)diphenol (L2). The complexes were fully characterized by 1H and 13C NMR, LC-MS/MS, TGA/DTA, UV-Vis, elemental analysis, SEM, and FTIR. The transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone derivatives was investigated by the boron complexes in the presence of isoPrOH, as the hydrogen source, under basic condition with NaOH. The results showed that the boron complexes were promising catalytic precursors for transfer hydrogenation of aromatic ketones in 0.1 M isoPrOH solution (up to 99%). Both steric and electronic factors of this class of molecules had a significant impact on the catalytic properties

    Optimization of an analytical method for determination of pyrene in smoked meat products

    In the present study, an analytical method was optimized for determination of pyrene by solid-phase extraction in Turkish foodstuffs including chicken and grilled meat samples. In accordance with this purpose, all of the parameters that may affect the signal of pyrene during analysis processes were optimized using high-performance liquid chromatography– mass spectrometry system. The optimized parameters for column temperature, injection volume, mobile-phase flow rate, and fragmentor potential were found to be 45 °C, 60 μL, 0.6 mL min−1, and 130 V, respectively. The optimized high-performance liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry method was applied for the determination and evaluation of pyrene in food samples that include chicken and grilled meat. The pyrene amount in meat samples was obtained in the range from 2.3 to 4.4 μg kg−1 for the normal grilled meat and chicken samples and from 12 to 135 μg kg−1 for exceedingly grilled samples. The results show that the concentration of pyrene is significantly dependent on the type of meat sample and cooking source. The limit of detection and quantitation was found to be 0.5 μg L−1 and 1.53 μg L−1, respectively

    Adsorption of hazardous crystal violet dye by almond shells and determination of optimum process conditions by Taguchi method

    Almond shells are classified as an agricultural waste of the food industry. In this study, almond shells were prepared as efficient adsorbents for removing Crystal Violet (CV) dye. The effects of adsorbent dosage, pH, initial concentration, shaking speed, temperature and particle size were studied. The Taguchi L25 experimental design method was used to obtain the optimum experimental condition. The data were analyzed using the signal to noise (S/N) ratio and analysis of variance (ANOVA) for removal of CV from aqueous solutions. The isotherm data were obtained from the experiments performed. The obtained isotherm data were analyzed via the Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin isotherm models of which the Langmuir isotherm model fitted the best. Thermodynamic parameters such as Delta H degrees, Delta S degrees and Delta G degrees were calculated and the results were 18.5 kJ/mol, 0.057 kJ/mol K and -1.514 kJ/mol at 25 degrees C, respectively. The results of this study indicate that almond shells are efficient adsorbents for removing Crystal Violet (CV) from aqueous solutions. The maximum adsorption capacity was found to be 1.075 mg/g on the almond shells. Adsorption kinetics studies showed that adsorption data can be modeled by a pseudo-second-order model. The optimum conditions for the adsorption on almond shells were found to be: adsorbent dosage = 0.5 g, concentration = 4 ppm, pH = 6, shaking speed = 200 rpm and shaking time = 180 min

    A comparison of the size-composition of the Turkish Crayfish (Astacus leptodactylus Eschscholtz, 1823) inhabiting Eğirdir Lake vs Keban Dam Lake

    Objective: Turkish (Narrow-clawed) Crayfish (Astacus leptodactylus Eschscholtz, 1823) is the most important shellfish in Turkey in both economic and ecological sense. It is an important export product with high commercial value and is also an important source of revenue for fishermen. Although it is an important species a lot of bio-ecological features of it remain unknown. In this study, some morphometric features of two important A. leptodactylus population of Turkey have been compared on length to length relation for each length category. Methods: In this study, the sizes of total length (TL), carapace length (CL), carapace width (CW), abdomen length (AL), abdomen width (AW), chela length (ChL), and chela width (ChW) were compared separately for each length category obtained from two different habitats. In calculations, a total of 1328 crayfish from Lake Eğirdir (♀:555, ♂:773) and 2045 from Keban Dam Lake (♀:868, ♂:1177) were used. The field studies in Lake Eğirdir were carried out in three different stations, in a period of July-2010 and June-2011 with monthly period. Field works in Keban Dam Lake were carried out in 6 different stations in a period of January-2012 and December-2012. In the comparing body section of crayfish that in different sex groups and same length category in each catching ground the t-test was used. Statistical calculations were made on significance of P<0.05 and P<0.001. For all statistical calculations R Studio (V.0.99.463) computer software was used. Results and Discussion: . The correlation relations between compared parameters were so high. According to linear regression analysis while the highest relation was between TL and AL (R2=0.987) of the female in Eğirdir Lake and the weakest relation was between AW and ChL’s (R2=0.084) of male+female in Keban Dam Lake. As a result, it was determined that the biometric features of A. leptodactylus populations in Eğirdir Lake and Keban Dam Lake were different and while these differences were insignificant in small and larger lengths, it was significant in mid- length groups

    Maruf Göleti’nin (Boyabat–Sinop) su kalitesinin belirlenmesi

    In this study, the preliminary findings obtained from 3 sampling points, which represent the whole, on Maruf Irrigation Dam, which is located in Boyabat district of Sinop province, for 12 months between September 2015 and August 2016 were examined. The parameters monitored are temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, electrical conductivity, total hardness, total alkalinity, chemical oxygen demand, biological oxygen demand, and dissolved anions and cations (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, ammonium, nitrate, phosphate, chloride, sulfate, and sulfite). Because of its low dissolved ionic matter content, Maruf Dam was characterized as an alkali dam with mid-hard water and low electrical conductivity. In terms of parameters A and B of Surface Water Quality Management Regulation, the dam is considered “high-quality” and “unpolluted”. Besides the irrigation purposes, for which the barrage was constructed, the dam can also be used for aquaculture, animal breeding, and farming needs.Bu çalışmada; Sinop ili Boyabat ilçesinde bulunan Maruf Sulama Baraj Göleti'nin bütününü temsil eden üç noktadan alınan su örneklerinin Eylül 2015 ile Ağustos 2016 arasında 12 ay süresince su kalitesi izleme araştırmasından elde edilen ilk bulguları değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma süresince; sıcaklık, çözünmüş oksijen, pH, elektriksel iletkenlik, toplam sertlik, toplam alkalinite, kimyasal oksijen ihtiyacı, biyolojik oksijen ihtiyacı çözünmüş anyon ve katyonlar (sodyum, potasyum, kalsiyum, magnezyum, amonyum, nitrat, fosfat, klorür, sülfat ve sülfit) ile izlenmiştir. Maruf Gölü düşük çözünmüş iyonik madde içeriğini nedeniyle düşük elektriksel iletkenlik ve çözünmüş katı madde içeriğine sahip orta sert sulu alkali bir göl olarak karakterize olmuştur. Yüzeysel Su Kalitesi Yönetimi Yönetmeliği A ve B grubu parametreleri bakımından baraj gölü “yüksek kaliteli” ve “kirlenmemiş” sınıflarına dâhil olmuştur. Baraj gölünün inşa amacı olan tarımsal sulama yanı, alabalık ve diğer balıkların yetiştiriciliği ile hayvan üretimi ve çiftlik ihtiyacı için de kullanılabileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır
