LA DIDATTICA DELL’ITALIANO ALLA COMUNITÀ BANGLADESHI VENEZIANA. IMPLICAZIONI PER LA COSTRUZIONE DI SILLABI
No full textIl contributo presenta una ricerca condotta nell’ambito del progetto CHANGES, focalizzata sull’insegnamento dell’italiano alla comunità bangladeshi residente a Venezia. Obiettivo principale è l’elaborazione di linee guida per la costruzione di sillabi efficaci e culturalmente sensibili, in grado di rispondere alle esigenze linguistiche e sociali degli apprendenti. Attraverso un questionario somministrato a docenti di italiano L2 attivi sul territorio, sono stati raccolti dati su motivazioni, obiettivi, problemi e punti di forza dell’utenza bangladeshi. I risultati evidenziano la necessità di sillabi modulari, flessibili e basati sull’analisi dei bisogni, in grado di integrare contenuti linguistici e culturali. Viene proposta una prospettiva processuale, centrata sull’apprendente e orientata all’azione, per promuovere percorsi formativi inclusivi e trasformativi

Un dossier di vedute di Corfù (1633) tra i disegni di Raffaele Monanni
No full textLe vedute di Corfù di Raffele Monanni presentano nuove prospettive della città e della fortezza di Corfù ritratta nel corso di un viaggio nei primi mesi del 1633. I disegni appartengono a un vasto corpus grafico attribuito all’ingegnere e tuttavia pongono vari problemi, dal momento che non si conoscono le circostanze in cui vennero realizzati. Il loro autore risulta attivo quasi esclusivamente sull’isola di Creta. Il saggio esamina quindi i disegni di Corfù in rapporto alla vasta produzione grafica di Monanni conservata a Venezia (Biblioteca Marciana e Archivio di Stato) per verificarne l’attribuzione e, con l’apporto di qualche nuovo documento, li esamina nel contesto della sua attività.Raffaele Monanni's depictions of Corfu offer fresh views of the city of Corfù and its fortress, captured during his travels in the early months of 1633. These drawings are part of a large body of work generally attributed to the engineer, yet they present several challenges because the circumstances of their creation remain unknown. Monanni seems to have been active almost exclusively on the island of Crete. Therefore, this essay analyzes the Corfu drawings in relation to Monanni's drawings housed in Venice (at the Marciana Library and the State Archives) to confirm their attribution. Additionally, with the aid of some newly discovered documents, the essay explores these drawings within the broader context of his work

No full textIl terzo centenario dalla nascita di Casanova precipita a picco proprio sull’anno del Giubileo: una circostanza che solleva molteplici contraddizioni. Il mito del Settecento empio, blasfemo e «libertino» fu infatti il modo nel quale l’Ottocento conservatore, non solamente d’ispirazione confessionale e reazionaria, tentò di spiegarsi e metabolizzare il crollo dell’antico regime politico, sociale, religioso. Mito letterario, elaborazione narrativa a posteriori, ripercorrerne la storia, cercare di comprendere come si venne a formare in quanto leggenda, per quali cause e in quali circostanze, con quali conseguenze anche e soprattutto per la ricerca storica, costituirebbe un capitolo importantissimo per la storia sociale della cultura europea dell’Ottocento e naturalmente del Novecento

No full textThe forty stories of Histórias de Macau, whose publication is part of a series of anthologies by Altino do Tojal published by Imprensa Nacional – Casa da Moeda between 2005 and 2014, could form the framework of a book without surprises, featuring the journey of a narrator conversing with a taxi driver on the way to Lisbon Airport, his experiences in the Special Administrative Region, and, in the end, the silent return with the curious taxi driver. However, the way the writer constructs a symbiosis between his long literary experience and some imaginary elements deeply rooted in the local life of Macau surprises us, due to the intertwining of different perspectives and narrative times. The sensitivity, quite sharp, shown towards certain issues concerning the region of Macau seems to emanate, mainly, from the stories "O Grilo de Pi" and "Orvalhinho" (Tojal 2009), in which a cultural translation emerges that deepens certain aspects of social inequalities
Navigating AML requirements for payment initiation service providers (PISPs): The challenging fulfilment of the customer due diligence
No full textOne of the most enduring debates in the context of the anti-money laundering legislation pertains to the width of its “regulatory net” vis-à-vis the constantly evolving financial ecosystem. This holds particularly true in light of the accelerated pace at which financial innovation occurs, resulting in new industry players, digital services and innovative technology-enabled operational models. A sector where technology advancement brought about major novelties is most certainly the payment one. In the quest to promote competition and ensure a better user-experience, in fact, the EU legislator opened up for new services and providers, like the account information service and the payment initiation service providers. The provision of the latter raised a host of regulatory questions relating to the correct fulfillment of AML requirements, specifically regarding the customer due diligence obligation. The aim of this article is to analyze whether and how payment initiation service providers have to carry out the customer due diligence obligations. The major challenging issues (e.g. who the “customer” is for the purposes of the AML legislation and, consequently, how the relationship with such customer should be qualified) will be examined in light of the current regulatory framework and the new Regulation (EU) 2024/1624 (“AMLR”)

Armenia 2024: Quo vadis Yerevan? The difficult path out of the Russian trap
No full textThe last stage of the war between Armenia and Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh shook Southern Caucasus politics at its very foundation. The traditional parameters used for assessing and deciphering regional politics have been upended, as the alli- ances and alignments developed over the previous thirty years have collapsed and, in many ways, have being overturned. Moreover, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine only adds uncertainty to an already unpredictable regional scenario. At the heart of the regional upheavals lies the crisis of the decades-old alliance between Armenia and Russia, around which Yerevan had built its entire security policy. As a consequence, its failure to function during the Karabakh war left the country almost defenseless in the face of Azerbaijan’s military might. As over-dependence on Moscow turned into vulnerability, the diversification of Armenian foreign and security policies became an imperative with a view to ensure the country’s resilience to external shocks. The article examines Yerevan’s attempt to escape from the multifaceted «Russian trap» and explores the consequences and constraints of this endeavor on both international and domestic levels
