The sample included 438 students who took the Center Test and were admitted to Faculty B at University A between 2017 and 2020. For graduates as of April 1, 2024, cumulative and semester GPAs throughout their enrollment were used. For students still enrolled, GPA data up to the end of the 2023 academic year were utilized. A forced-entry multiple regression analysis was conducted. The analysis revealed the following key findings: (1) Center Test had no statistically significant effect on GPA, either overall or when analyzed by individual subjects. (2) When analyzed by gender, no significant relationship was found between Center Test and GPA among male students. However, among female students, a significant relationship was observed between overall Center Test and GPA, and a weak but notable influence of the social studies subject on GPA was also identified. (3) Semester-based analysis showed that in the first semester of the first and second years, overall and some subject-specific cores significantly influenced GPA.
