Impact of Sexuality Education in a Special School for Students with Intellectual Disabilities : Findings from an Interview Survey with Graduates

    No full text
This study examines the outcomes of sexuality education practices in a special school for students with intellectual disabilities. We analyzed the content of sexuality education programs at special school A and conducted an interview survey with its graduates. The results of the survey indicate that considering the students’ development and individual circumstances, and with the consent of their parents, sexuality education encompassing sexual intercourse did not pose any issues for the students and graduates.Rather, the results suggest that the sexuality education provided at school A resulted in increased awareness of sexual health among graduates, fostering a sense of sexual self-determination through accurate knowledge aboutsexuality

On the Development of Clause-chaining Constructions in Kolyma Yukaghir : From a Viewpoint of Historical Syntax

    No full text
The aim of this paper is to outline the developmental stages of clause chains found in complex sentences in Kolyma Yukaghir from the perspective of historical syntax, and to consider the factors that are thought to have played a role in their development. Clause chains, or clause-chaining constructions, make up a significant portion of the language's complex sentences. When we examine text materials collected at various points in time, we find that the occurrence of this construction differs depending on the period. If considered from a diachronic perspective, this can be seen as a historical change, or in one word, development. It is an interesting hypothesis to assume that several factors were at play in this development, and this paper will undertake a consideration of these factors

ASEBA(Achenbach System of Empirically Based Assessment)
