Heavy Metal Content of Lead (Pb) in Feather Clam Meat (Anadara antiquata) in the Coastal Waters of Pantai Cermin Regency
The coastal area of Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency has a
plenty of marine biota, one of which is the feather clam (Anadara antiquata). The
feather clam functions as a bioindicator of water pollution because it is able to
accumulate heavy metals such as lead (Pb). This study aims to determine the level of
Pb content in the feather clam, water, and substrate at three observation stations with
different activities. The sampling method was Purposive Sampling at tourism of site,
site with no activity, and site of ship tracks. As station 1,2 and 3 respectively Pb content
in the feather clam meat at stations 1 and 2 was still below the threshold (<0.07
mg/kg), but at station 3 it reached 4.16 mg/kg, exceeding the quality standard of 1.5
mg/kg. The Pb content in water at all stations was still below the threshold of 0.008
mg/l. However, the Pb content in the substrate exceeded the threshold (25 mg/kg) at
all stations, especially at station 2 (55.3 mg/kg). These findings indicate that human
activities affect environmental pollution which has an impact on the quality of the

Analysis Of Factors Affecting The Performance Of National Private Banks in Indonesia Moderated by The Use Of Fintech
This study aims to analyze the Factors Affecting the Performance of National Banks in Indonesia oderated by the Use of Fintehch. The data used in this research is secondary data collected from the financial reports of national private banks for the 2020-2024 period, with a total sample of 140 abservations. This study employs a quantitative approach and data analysis is conducted using panel data regression with the assistance of EViews software. The test results show that the Loan to Deposit Ratio has a significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA) in national private banks in Indonesia. Operational Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) also significantly affect to ROA, and Non- Perforing Loans (NPL) have a significant impact to ROA. Furthermore, both the Loan to Deposit Ratio and BOPO significantly influence ROA when moderated by fintech. Analysis of the Tengku Lukman Sinar Community Reading Park (TBM) Medan Based on the TBM Operational Management Standards Set by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2013
The purpose of this study is to analyse the management of the Tengku Lukman Sinar
Community Reading Park in Medan based on the 2013 Ministry of Education and Culture
standards for community reading park management. A qualitative research method with
a descriptive approach was used. Data was obtained through direct observation,
interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques were carried out using
source triangulation and techniques to ensure data validity. The results of this study show
that, in general, the Tengku Lukman Sinar Medan Community Reading Park has provided
basic facilities and infrastructure such as reading rooms, tables, chairs, bookshelves and
air conditioning. The collection is quite extensive and unique in relation to history and
culture. The TBM provides on-site reading services so that visitors can read rare
collections that are not available in libraries or other places. However, the management
of the TBM still faces a number of obstacles, namely limited space, only one manager,
only one method of procuring collection materials, minimal social activities, and a lack
of external support. This study shows that the management of the Tengku Lukman Sinar
Community Reading Park in Medan is not yet fully in accordance with the 2013 TBM

Utilization of Hdpe and Pet Plastic Waste As Aggregate Substitutes On The Mechanical Properties of Paving Blocks
Waste is a serious issue for the environment, health, and the economy. Plastic, in particular, is a major contributor. From 1950 to 2018, global plastic production reached over 8 billion tons, with plastic bottles being one of the main contributors. To address the accumulation of plastic bottle waste, one innovative solution is to utilize it in construction products.This study investigates the effects of HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) and PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) plastic waste as aggregate substitutes in paving blocks on mechanical properties, durability, cost, and surface morphology. Compressive strength tests showed that the control paving block (25.38 MPa). The addition of plastic waste reduced performance, with the optimal compressive strength found in 5% HDPE (21.24 MPa) and 5% PET (22.32 MPa), while the lowest was at 15% HDPE (14.62 MPa). The highest water absorption (1.36%) occurred in 5% HDPE, while the lowest was in 15% PET. An increase in plastic content reduced water absorption due to the hydrophobic nature of plastic.In the sodium sulfate resistance test, the weight difference between the control paving block and those with plastic additions was ≤1% after five soaking cycles, with no visible or structural cracks or defects. The impact test showed the best performance at 5% plastic content (withstood up to 10 blows), while the 15% plastic variation only withstood 5 blows. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) results showed that paving blocks with plastic substitution had few voids, but the plastic–aggregate bond was weak due to the smooth surface and differences in chemical properties. Economically, using plastic waste as an aggregate substitute in paving blocks reduced material costs by 1.78% and plastic waste by 7.35 kg/m². Although plastic–aggregate adhesion still needs optimization, test results indicate that plastic waste has the potential to serve as an environmentally friendly alternative material with adequate performance for sustainable paving block applications.156 PagesTesis Magiste
Nursing Care Management Of Blood Glucose Instability In Type II Diabetes Mellitus Patients Through The Implementation Of Diabetic Foot Exercises In Environment IV, Padang Bulan Subdistrict, Medan
Type II diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease that occurs when the body is unable to produce sufficient insulin or cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. Blood glucose instability in type II diabetes mellitus patients may lead to chronic complications, such as diabetic foot ulcers. This practicum aimed to manage nursing care for blood glucose instability in type II diabetes mellitus patients through the implementation of diabetic foot exercises in Environment IV. Padang Bulan Subdistrict, Medan. The nursing care was provided to three clients diagnosed with type II diabetes mellitus. The intervention was carried out over two weeks, from June 11 to June 21, 2025, and involved comprehensive nursing care processes including assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention planning, implementation, and evaluation. The foot exercises were performed for three consecutive days, each session lasting 30 mimutes. In addition to the exercise intervention, patients were also given education regarding diabetic diet and medication adherence. The results of the intervention showed improved blood circulation in the clients' feet, marked by reduced complaints of numbness and muscle stiffness, as well as a significant decrease in random blood glucose levels. These findings are consistent with previous studies indicating that diabetic foot exercises can enhance peripheral circulation and reduce the risk of foot-related complications in type II diabetes mellitus patients. The Legal Force of Oral Partnership Agreements in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Business Practices (Case Study of the Es Teh Semanis Janji Outlet)
Partnerships have become one of the key business development strategies
widely implemented in the practices of micro, small, and medium enterprises
(MSMEs) in Indonesia. This research examines the legal strength of oral
partnership agreements in MSME business practices, with a case study on the outlet
“Es Teh Semanis Janji,” which enters into oral partnership agreements with its
partners. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the legal standing of
oral partnership agreements within the civil law system, to examine the forms of
breach of contract in the implementation of oral partnership agreements between
Es Teh Semanis Janji and its business partners, and to assess the legal validity of
oral partnership agreements in MSME business practices at the Es Teh Semanis
Janji outlet. This study uses a normative legal research method. The approaches applied
in this research include the statutory approach and the conceptual approach.
Therefore, the data used consists of both primary and secondary data. Data
collection techniques include library research and field research. The data is then
analyzed using a qualitative data analysis method, with conclusions drawn
deductively. The findings of this study show that the legal position of partnership
agreements in civil law is not specifically regulated under the Indonesian Civil
Code (KUH Perdata). However, this type of agreement is based on the principle of
freedom of contract as stated in Article 1338 paragraph (1) of the Civil Code.
Therefore, the provisions of the Civil Code still apply to partnership agreements. In
the case of Es Teh Semanis Janji, several forms of breach of contract by partners
were identified, such as the use of non-standard raw materials, alterations to the
product formula, and the establishment of similar businesses that negatively impact
the central outlet. Although oral partnership agreements are legally valid as long
as they fulfill the conditions set out in Article 1320 of the Civil Code, in practice,
they present weaknesses in terms of evidence and protection of rights in the event
of a dispute. This research recommends that MSME actors draft written agreements
and officially register their brands in order to ensure legal certainty and protect

Occupational Health Risk Factors For the Occurrence of Pruney Fingers in Anto Giani Tofu Factory Workers Binjai in 2025
The tofu industry, as part of the growing informal sector, has a high risk of exposure to water, as almost every stage of production involves direct contact with water. Prolonged exposure to water causes workers to complain of wrinkled fingers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the duration of water exposure, water temperature, water pH, age, and gender with the occurrence of pruney fingers among workers at Anto Giani Tofu Factory. This type of research is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional design. The total population consisted of 26 tofu workers, and the entire population was used as the sample. Data analysis methods used Fisher's exact test as an alternative to the Chi-square test. The results of the study showed that there is a relationship between the duration of water exposure and the occurrence of pruney fingers with a p-value of 0.004. There is a relationship between water temperature and the occurrence of pruney fingers with a p-value of 0.001. There was a relationship between water pH and the occurrence of pruney fingers with a p-value of 0.002. There was a relationship between gender and the occurrence of pruney fingers with a p-value of 0.000. There is no association between age and the occurrence of pruney fingers, with a p-value of 0.713. It is recommended that workers use personal protective equipment and that employers provide such equipment as rubber gloves, aprons, and boots. Legal Protection For Users of Blockchain Technology In Cryptocurrency Transactions from The Perspective of Indonesian Positive Law
Technological development has brought changes to various aspects of human life, including business and financial transactions. One technology that has gained attention is blockchain technology. Blockchain is known as the foundational technology for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. In business, blockchain offers solutions for security, transparency, and efficiency issues in business transactions. Blockchain technology is the technology underlying cryptocurrency, with a decentralized recording system that enables transactions to be conducted without intermediaries. However, behind this exist various risks and legal challenges, especially in the context of legal protection for its users. The absence of comprehensive regulations regarding cryptocurrency creates legal uncertainty for its users. Bank Indonesia, through PBI No. 20/6/PBI/2018, has prohibited the use of cryptocurrency as a payment instrument, but cryptocurrency trading activities as digital assets are still ongoing, supervised by BAPPEBTI through BAPPEBTI Regulation No. 5 of 2019. This regulatory dualism raises questions about the legal status and forms of protection for cryptocurrency users in Indonesia. The research method used in this thesis is a normative juridical method, analyzing how legal protection for users of blockchain technology in cryptocurrency transactions is viewed from Indonesian positive law. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of blockchain technology in business transactions exists amidst numerous regulations. Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions, as the general foundation for electronic transactions, has not specifically regulated the technical aspects of blockchain. In the Indonesian legal system, dispute resolution can be pursued through both litigation and non-litigation channels; however, the special characteristics of blockchain technology demand a different approach to dispute handling. Physical Quality Testing of Cassava Plant Waste Silage (Manihot Esculenta) with the Addition of Bioactivator Local Microorganisms (Mol) as Feed for Ruminant Livestock
The availability of forage as the primary feed source for ruminants is often
limited during the dry season. One potential alternative is the utilization of
cassava (Manihot esculenta) plant residues as silage material. However, cassava
leaves contain toxic compounds, particularly hydrocyanic acid (HCN), which can
be harmful to livestock health if not properly processed. The addition of Local
Microorganism (MOL) bioactivators during the ensiling process is expected to
accelerate fermentation and improve silage quality. This study aimed to evaluate
the effect of various MOL concentrations on the physical quality of cassava plant
residue silage. The research was conducted at the Feed Science and Technology
Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, using a
Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and five replications:
P0 (without MOL), P1 (1% MOL), P2 (3% MOL), and P3 (5% MOL). The
observed parameters included color, aroma, texture, and pH. The results showed
that MOL addition had a highly significant effect (P<0.05) on silage aroma and
texture, color. The best results were observed at 5% MOL concentrations, with
higher average physical quality scores than the control. Although pH values did
not differ significantly (P>0.05), they remained within the optimal range (3.5–3.6)
for high-quality silage. In conclusion, the use of MOL is effective in enhancing the
physical quality of cassava plant residue silage and presents a viable solution for
processing agricultural waste into an economical and sustainable alternative feed

The Restorative Justice Approach in Resolving Criminal Cases by the Investigators of the Indonesian National Police (POLRI)
The Restorative Justice (RJ) approach in Indonesia’s criminal justice system has become a crucial aspect of national legal reform. In practice, police investigators play a pivotal role in implementing RJ to achieve a more inclusive and recovery-oriented justice system. However, the implementation of RJ still faces various challenges, particularly concerning legal certainty, regulatory harmonization, and limitations within the broader law enforcement system. Therefore, this study aims to analyze an ideal RJ model for resolving criminal cases by police investigators, considering an approach based on Pancasila values and best practices from various countries. This study employs a normative legal research method with a conceptual and comparative approach. Data is collected through a literature review of various regulations, legal rulings, and previous studies on RJ in Indonesia and other jurisdictions. The analysis is conducted using the theory of legal certainty, the legal system theory, and the restorative justice theory to formulate a model that can be adopted within the national legal framework. Additionally, this research examines various factors that hinder the implementation of RJ at the investigative level and proposes solutions to address these challenges. The findings indicate that RJ by police investigators lacks a strong legal foundation, potentially violating the lex superior derogat legi inferiori principle. The primary obstacles to RJ implementation include legal substance (lack of regulatory harmonization), legal structure (limited investigator authority and insufficient training), and legal culture (low public awareness of RJ). A comparative analysis with RJ systems in the Netherlands and New Zealand highlights that legal certainty and community involvement are key factors in the successful implementation of RJ. As a solution, this study recommends the establishment of a comprehensive RJ law to provide a clear legal basis for police investigators in applying RJ. Additionally, intensive training for law enforcement officers and public awareness programs are necessary to enhance the effectiveness of RJ in criminal case resolution. The ideal RJ model in Indonesia should be based on Pancasila values, emphasizing the principles of deliberation, social recovery, and substantive justice to create a more humane and equitable legal system.439 PagesDisertasi Dokto
