    團體協約中約定職業安全衛生事項之研究;Study on the occupation safety and health matters stipulated in a collective agreement

    [[abstract]]摘要 團體協約是雇主與工會,以對等立場所簽訂的書面契約。本研究以深度訪談法對產業界的勞、資雙方及主管機關、專家學者,四種對象訪問24 個單位,透過受訪者的經驗充分描述,蒐集受訪者對訪談內容主題之意見、價值觀的表達資料,以?議題歸納、分析勞資雙方在《團體協約法》中約定職業安全衛生事項。 研究結果為作業環境監測範圍縮小,非法定的物理性與化學性危害因子種類納入監測,健康檢查週期縮短、項目增加,達到零災害工時給予獎勵,執行公務至殘廢或死亡發給特別慰問金,增加投保意外險金額,增加廠醫廠護所需服務人力、降低服務人數比例。困難點為在團體協約架構下的協商平台鮮少討論職業安全衛生事項,對工會幹部專業度較高、勞雇雙方認知較不足。 政策面建議主管機關勞動部編制“簽訂團體協約參考手冊”關於職業安全衛生事項進一步增列加重,健康檢查、作業環境監測、推行職業安全衛生績優獎勵、勞工參與、職災補償、職災重建、廠醫廠護健康促進。執行面建議工會加強教育訓練並應主動提出團體協約將職業安全衛生事項納入進行協商。關鍵字:團體協約、集體協商、《職業安全衛生》、職業災害 Abstract A collective agreement is a written contract signed by an employer and a labor union on an equal footing. This paper conducted in-depth interviews with 24 interviewees belonging to four types of subjects: industry labor, management, competent authorities, experts and scholars. After the respondents had fully described their experiences, I collected their opinions about the themes of the interview content and expressed data on value systems. Based on theme induction, I analyzed the occupational safety and hygiene items agreed by labor and management in the Collective Agreement Law. The research results showed that the relevant items included reducing the area of operational environment monitoring, inclusion of the monitoring of non-statutory physical and chemical hazard factors, shortening the cycle of physical examination, addition of physical examination items, rewarding employees for no occupational injury, offering consolation money for disability and death on duty, increasing the amount of accident insurance, increasing the number of factory doctors and nurses and lowering the ratio between the number of customers and the number of service staff. One of the difficulties is that there are few discussions about the occupational safety and hygiene items within the framework of the current collective agreements. Another difficulty is that high professionalism is demanded for the labor union cadre. The other difficulty is that there is not enough mutual recognition between labor and management. On the strategy side, I suggest that the competent authority Ministry of Labor Affairs should edit a reference handbook for signing collective agreements. It is important to further increase the number and the weights of the occupational safety and hygiene items: physical examination, operational environment monitoring, offering rewards for good performance on occupational safety and hygiene, participation of labor, compensation for occupational hazards, post-hazard occupational reconstruction and enhancing the health of factory doctors and nurses. On the execution side, a labor union should enhance educational training and proactively propose collective agreements for including the occupational safety and hygiene items for negotiation.     利用DEMATEL與ANP法於醫院行政中階主管管理才能評選模式之研究;A Study on the Managerial Competence Model for Hospital Middle Administrators by Using DEMATEL and ANP Methods

    [[abstract]]醫療產業面臨健保及勞動法令缺乏彈性環境下,需要將企業管理之精髓注入醫院管理中,而醫院行政中階主管就扮演重要的角色。所以,本研究採用決策實驗室法(Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory, DEMATEL)與結合分析網路程序法(Analytic Network Proccss, ANP)針對醫院行政中階主管管理才能項目之評選進行分析。先用DEMATEL探討各構面與管理才能項目間的關聯度及原因度,得到醫院行政中階主管管理才能評選項目,在完成關關聯度確認後,因其項目間彼此有因果關聯並非獨立,故用ANP相依性去計算權重。本研究所達成的之研究結果如下:一、DEMATEL構面分析中,人格特質是中階主管的管理才能中最重要的構面,管理才能項目分析發現,中階主管被重視的管理才能分別為領導力、建立團隊、積極性、激勵能力、以身作則、持續學習態度、跨部門溝通、行動與執行力、組織認同等九項,藉以建立立管理才能項目層級架構。二、再透過ANP法分析發現,醫院所重視的行政中階主管之權重程度分別為領導力(0.139)、組織認同(0.129)、積極性(0.126)、以身作則(0.113)、持續學習之態度(0.103)、建立團隊(0.102)、激勵能力(0.101)、跨部門溝通協調(0.095)、行動及執行力(0.091),再透過確立管理才能項目權重,建構一套具有權重標準的醫院中階主管才管理才能評選模式。本研究建議個案醫院可依據研究結果,透過確立的管理才能項目權重,建立一套具有權重標準之醫院行政中階主管評選模式。未來在評選行政中階主管及進行人力資源活動時之參考依據,如應用在選才系統、績效管理系統、晉升輪調計畫、領導力發展訓練等相關制度,使期協助每位行政中階主管管理才能符合組織需要,增強組織競爭力,進而維持組織的競爭優勢。關鍵字:醫療業、管理才能、決策實驗室法、分析網路程序法 The environment of hospital administrations is confined by the health insurance and new labor policies recently. In order to overcome the limitation, the essence of business management needs to be involved in hospital administrations. However, the staff of middle administrators is an important role to decide the result of this affair. In our study, we aim to use the DEMATEL with combining the ANP method to explore the better analysis solution to construct the best middle administrators of the hospital administration by using the competence-based managerial talent selection criteria. We first explore the degree of the relationship among the various management talents of facing all hospital administrations by DEMATEL to obtain the suitable evaluated items for the management talent selection criteria. After comparing the degree of the relationship of the evaluated items, the project shows that the results of items with each other are not independent but causal relationship. Therefore, ANP method is proposed to calculate the weights of dependency.The results of this study are as follows:1. To analysis the relationship of the evaluated items by DEMATEL, the personal characteristics are the most important face of all management talents for middle administrators. The highly respected items of management talents are listed as follows: Leadership, Teamwork Creating, Proactive, Encouragement, Leading by Personal Example, Keep Learning, Communication with Others, Active and Executive, and Identify with Organization, in order to set up the hierachical framework of the competency indices.2. After the analysis of ANP, the weights of management talents for middle administrators concerned by the hospital are that Leadership is with 0.139, Identify with Organization is with 0.129, Proactive is with 0.126, Leading by Personal Example is with 0.113, Keep Learning is with 0.103, Teamwork Creating is with 0.102, Encouragement is with 0.101, Communication with Others is with 0.095, Active and Executive is with 0.091. Then through the establishment of the weights of managerial competence items, the study consturcts a compentence-based selection model of hospital middle administrators.According to the results, the hospital of case study is suggested to construct a project of management talent selection criteria and then to set up a managerial competence model for hospital middle administrators with a weighting standard. In the future, it should be considered as an important reference to apply it to their recruiting and task achievement management systems, the job promotion and rotation, in addition to the leadership development and training programs.     基於射線追蹤之系統模擬平台建構及波束域5G系統下抗遮障效應技術研究;Ray-tracing Simulation Platforms and Anti-blockage Techniques for Beam Group Division 5G Systems

    [[abstract]]5G通道特性的了解是設計5G通訊系統的重要依據。為了滿足5G之高傳輸率及高系統容量的需求,使用高頻段以取得數百MHz之頻寬,勢不可免。而高頻段之電波傳播特性與現行2-3GHz低頻段有顯著的不同。因此,在5G系統設計之初,實有必要針對5G高頻段通道進行完整的分析。分析5G高頻段通道的方法有許多種,利用射線追蹤(ray-tracing)技術準確預測電波傳播特性之模擬平台,是5G網路佈建及5G產品測試不可或缺之工具,只要模擬環境建立夠精細,射線追蹤技術的準確性就無庸置疑。本論文建立了都市、校園及室內開放式辦公室之射線追蹤系統模擬平台,其中室內開放式辦公室結合工研院資通所以及本校電機工程研究所之毫米波通道量測團隊,以量測及模擬結果,從功率延遲剖面圖(power delay profile)來分析平台之準確性。由於高頻段電波繞射(diffraction)能力微弱、易被遮障(blockage),一旦被物件遮障,鏈路預算(link budget)將下降20至30分貝,抗遮障效應之技術是未來5G通訊系統發展的重點。本論文第二部份基於上述之射線追蹤模擬平台及3GPP New Radio (NR)應用場景及天線架構,提出波束候選之抗遮障技術,包括: I. 單一傳送波束、多接收波束技術II. 同基站下多傳送波束、多接收波束技術III. 不同基站下多傳送波束、多接收波束技術模擬結果顯示,使用者受到遮障後,有20%的使用者會通訊中斷(outage)。方法一改善了2%的outage機率,此方法的好處是使用者切換接收波束不須回報至基站,波束管理(beam management)複雜度最低;方法二比起方法一改善outage的比例約8%,此方法須付出的代價是,使用者須回報基站更換傳送波束,此動作會造成波束管理上較高之複雜度;方法三之改善幅度最大,outage機率下降至7%,因不同基站之傳送波束意味著空間上相隔更開,抗遮障之能力越好,但須基站之間的合作,以及更高的波束管理複雜度。 Understanding of 5G channel characteristics is a must prior to design 5G communication systems. To meet the explosive growth of mobile traffic demand, the exploitation of large bandwidth in the millimeter wave (mmWave) band is inevitable. However, there are fundamental differences between mmWave and low-frequency channel characteristics. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze 5G channel characteristics in high-frequency band at the beginning of designing 5G systems.There are several ways to characterize the 5G channel in mmWave band, for example, channel measurements and ray-tracing techniques. In particular, site-specific ray-tracing simulation platform is preferable due to its accuracy. The more detailed the environment construction is, the more accurate the simulation result will be. In this work, we construct three ray-tracing based simulation platforms for urban, campus and indoor open office, respectively. Especially, we collaborate with ITRI/ICL and department of electrical engineering/CCU in verifying the site-specific simulation platform.With a small wavelength, propagation rays in the mmWave band are sensitive to blockage by obstacles (e.g., humans and furniture). Blockage by a human penalizes the link budget by 20-30 dB. Consequently, the anti-blockage technique will play a vital role in the design of 5G communication systems.In this work, in addition to the ray-tracing based simulation platforms mentioned above, we propose three beam selection methods for anti-blockage, including I. Fixed one transmit beam, multiple receive beamsII. Multiple transmit beams, multiple receive beams under same base stationIII. Multiple transmit beams, multiple receive beams under different base stationsAs the numerical results show, about 20% of users are in outage without any remedy after being blocked. The first method improves outage probability by 2%, and its advantage is the lowest complexity because switching candidate received beams doesn’t need to inform base station. Method 2 improves outage probability by 8% but it results higher complexity because the switching of transmit beams needs to inform base station. The method 3 has best performance with outage probability decreasing of 7% due to wider angular separation of beam-pair-links (BPLs).     [[abstract]]聽審請求權(Der Anspruch auf rechtliches Geh?r)為德國基本法第103條第1項所明定,係基於「人性尊嚴」及「法治國原則」兩大憲法上原理原則為基礎所具體化而來之權利,我國司法院大法官亦於釋字第482號確立聽審請求權為我國憲法第16條訴訟權之內涵。 聽審請求權的目的在保障人民在法院前有依法聽審之權利,其內涵包含知悉權(Das Recht auf Orientierung)、陳述權(Das Recht auf Aeusserung)、法院審酌義務等三部分,並符合憲法基本權之各種主客觀效力而為「憲法上基本權利」,包含行政、民事及刑事訴訟程序均為其射程範圍所及,亦即法院在訴訟程序負有保障人民聽審請求權之義務。聽審請求權保障相較其他憲法基本權具有動態形成之特性,並與法院在個案中適用法律的過程有高度關連,其權利的侵害更需要有即時有效的方式加以救濟排,除強化專業法院審判權範圍之救濟制度外,引進裁判憲法訴願制度以供違反聽審請求權保障之專業法院確定裁判進行個案違憲審查,實有其必要性。 我國行政訴訟法條文就聽審請求權之內容立有相關規定,然對於稅務訴訟案件,除行政訴訟法之條文適用,行政法院在稅務訴訟案件審理過程中,應進一步針對稅務案件之特性予以掌握以適當衡平調節稅務案件在先天上之訴訟結構不平等,並應加強稅務相關專業以提升審判能量,並貫徹法院依法審酌及附具理由裁判之義務,以落實聽審請求權之保障

    家事保全程序之審理與執行─以親權事件為中心;

    [[abstract]]因女性受教育之機會普及,勞動參與力、經濟能力及社會地位之提升,個人權利意識、家庭婚姻觀念亦與過往大相逕庭,導致家事紛爭與日俱增,法律關係及訴訟程序均趨於繁雜。婚姻訴訟逐漸由情感之糾葛轉而變成著重權利義務行使與攻防,使得家事事件相關之實體法與程序法已無法適應時代環境與人民法感,而面臨強大改革聲浪。 有鑑於家事事件之特殊性質,我國於2012年1月11日公布家事事件法,並於同年6月1日正式施行。因家事事件係處理一定親屬關係之人因共同生活、血緣親情等所產生之紛爭,故不同於一般民事財產權紛爭事件,需從社會上、心理上或感情上為妥適處理。因家事事件之內容充滿多樣性、多變性及關連性,有些甚至有持續性、急迫性,法院為裁判前,須經過相當時日之調查。為恐在調查審理過程中,未成年子女未受適當之教養、撫育,將有害其身心健康發展,以致有聲請保全程序之需求。 本文擬以家事親權事件保全程序之審理與執行作為研究之範疇。首先,闡明保全制度之基本法理及規範內容,探究保全程序之性質與家事事件之特殊性,藉以瞭解家事保全程序與民事保全程序間有何異同之處。又因家事事件著重維護未成年子女、弱勢族群之最佳利益,及維繫家庭親情之和諧,故在審理家事事件應有別於財產事件,必須於訴訟程序上重新架構與思維。家事事件應透過著重追求子女最佳利益、促進紛爭自主解決以及整合社政專業資源等面向,以貫徹憲法保障人民基本人權、維護人格尊嚴及保障性別地位實質平等之精神,兼顧子女最佳利益及家庭和諧。再者,因家事事件法施行後,特別就家事非訟事件之保全程序增訂暫時處分制度,以致家事保全制度產生重大之變革。本論文係以請求標的假處分、定暫時狀態處分及暫時處分之親權事件保全程序為論述對象。介紹各類親權事件保全程序之聲請與審理程序,除探討各類保全程序之法律規定、實務見解及學說理論外,並舉個案加以應證。繼而探究家事事件法有關暫時處分之新制,為家事保全制度帶來何種之效應與改變。為因應家事強制執行異於一般民事強制執行之特性及需求,特別於家事事件法第五編明定履行之確保及執行,以作為家事事件強制執行程序之特別規定。且因家事事件法為保護未成年子女之利益,特別就扶養費及其他費用之執行、交付子女與子女會面交往之執行等程序加以規定。除論述親權事件保全執行之種類、聲請程序及執行方式等內容外,並探究應有何相關配套措施。例如,如何促進當事人良性溝通,修復兩造和諧信賴關係,運用間接柔性執行措施等方式,均是親權保全程序執行時所應思索,並致力達成之目標。最後,從現行規範及實務運作效果,將親權保全程序作綜合性之討論。再參酌專業之建議,重新檢視現行規範可供修正之處;進而嘗試提出想法與意見,期能達到維護子女最佳利益之實然性。亦期盼將家事紛爭事件,能由兩敗俱傷之局面,扭轉為正向雙贏之局勢

    勞工就業隱私權保障之研究—以生理資訊為中心;

    [[abstract]]人才為企業最寶貴之資源,雇主透過檢測或測試選出最適任人選本無可厚非,惟該行為難免會對求職者及勞工之隱私造成侵害,而就業隱私法制定之目的即在避免該情形之發生。惟現今求職者及勞工生理資訊隱私受侵害之情事仍時有所聞,是何原因造成現行法制實施成效不彰即非無探討之必要。為能充分了解目前我國就業隱私法令實施之現況,本文透過深度訪談方式,分別訪談學者專家、勞工、雇主,及行政機關,俾能全方位地了解各個不同觀點及實務運作狀況,以作出最妥適之建議。 此外,美國就業隱私法制發展已久,制度可謂相當成熟。在美國,保障生理資訊隱私之主要法律規範係由禁止基因資訊歧視法(The Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act of 2008, GINA)及身心障礙美國人法(The Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990, ADA)交織而成,相關規範甚為明確,且較為完整,誠值我國借鏡,是以本文乃就美國生理資訊隱私相關法制加以探討,並於去蕪存菁後,提出我國得以借鏡之處。 透過文獻分析,可知我國與美國就業隱私法制原則上皆係以生理資訊是否為就業所需作為判斷雇主得否蒐集之依據,並以雇主各該生理資訊之蒐集是否有 經濟尚需求作為輔助判斷之標準。惟我國法制較不明確,且尚未完備,從而本文以為,未來應得透過修改就服法第5條第2項之方式,使就業隱私規範之內容更為明確,並透過明訂雇主應就其生理資訊之蒐集適法與否負舉證責任之方式,使雇主得於施測前評估其行為之合法性。此外,為使我國就業隱私法制以臻至善,未來上應增訂雇主資料保存、揭露之規定,並明訂雇主不得因生理資訊而對求職者或勞工為不利之待遇,方屬妥適

    應用金奈米粒子自組裝薄膜於奈米流道電動力濃縮之金奈米粒子濃度測試;Study on Protein preconcentration Using Nano-interstices via Self-assembled Monolayers of Au Nanoparticles with Different Concentrations

    [[abstract]]藉由預濃縮步驟應用於癌症的早期診斷,可更快速的進行分析並減少生物樣本的消耗,並能夠提升蛋白免疫檢測的靈敏度。本研究旨利用簡單且低成本方式,使用金奈米粒子自組裝方式沉積出奈米通道,用以達到蛋白質濃縮效果。 本旨使用不同濃度之15 nm金奈米粒子自組裝於晶片上,並使用10 μM 螢光異硫氰酸素(Fluorescein Isothiocyanate, FITC)標示之胎牛血清蛋白(Bovine Serum Albumin, BSA)進行濃縮,其結果顯示相同粒徑而不同金奈米粒子濃度其濃縮結果接近相同,而本實驗最佳合適濃度為稀釋0.5倍1.325 nM的金奈米粒子,因其搭配5 mM PBS所產生的電雙層效果最佳。不同濃度之金奈米粒子須搭配不同濃度之緩衝液才能達到最好的濃縮結果。而進行電動力濃縮至30分鐘可將提升蛋白質濃度約50倍,順利將10 μM FITC-BSA提升至0.5 mM。關鍵字:蛋白質、預濃縮、自組裝薄膜、金奈米粒子、集中排斥效應 The protein expression in human body can be used in the detection of cancer and other diseases in the early stage. Preconcentration is an important step that increases accuracy of subsequent detection, especially for samples with extremely low concentrations. Because of overlapping electrical double layers in the nanofluidic channel, the concentration polarization effect can be generated by applying an electric field. In this study, the preconcentration chip for proteins was fabricated using simple standard soft lithography with a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) replica. Using various concentration gold nanoparticles (1.325、2.65 and 26.5 nM) deposited on glass substrate by self-assembly. The results showed apparently that all case using 15 nm gold nanoparticles for SAM achieved protein concentration successfully. The experimental results indicate that gold nanoparticles concentration do not affect concentration results. Over concentration gold nanoparticles (26.5 nM) have regular pattern and compact structure. A protein sample with an concentration of 10 μM was concentrated to 50-fold in 30 min by using the proposed chip.Keywords: Protein, Preconcentration, Self-assembled monolayer, Gold nanoparticles, Exclusion-Enrichment Effec

    滾動軸承智能診斷與剩餘壽命預估技術之研發;Techniques Developments for Faulty Ball Bearing Identification and Remaining Useful Life Estimation

    [[abstract]]本研究為發展一滾動軸承智能診斷與剩餘壽命預估之技術。一般而言,軸承於機械設備中屬於非維修品,任何部位一旦發生故障皆只能更換新品,因此本研究所發展之智能診斷系統在診斷軸承健康的部分以鑑別軸承整體狀態是否正常為主,研究區分為三部分。第一部分為在軸承診斷中結合熵(Entropy)與譜峰度(Spectral kurtosis, SK)的概念提出新的振動特徵譜峰度熵(Spectral kurtosis entropy, SKE),來對軸承的非穩態訊號進行檢測,並以費雪法來驗證其效果。第二部分為利用自組織映射圖(Self-Organizing map, SOM)來進行軸承健康診斷,對健康狀態的軸承振動訊號提取出SKE、取樣熵(Sample Entropy, SE)及方均根(Root mean square, RMS)等特徵,建立模型收斂門檻,令SOM可自動選擇訓練資料量並建立其神經元模型,再比較日後的訊號與診斷模型間之最小量化誤差(Minimum quantization error, MQE)來判斷軸承之狀態異常與否。此外,為了避免軸承診斷在運轉初期因訓練資料量不足而無法診斷,本研究提出特徵訓練資料縮減法來改善此問題。第三部分為剩餘壽命預估技術,本研究結合馬式距離建立損壞門檻值,利用曲線擬合來達成軸承運轉過程中之即時剩餘壽命預估,其中利用移動窗的概念,根據當下的軸承使用狀態來預估當下即時之軸承剩餘壽命。最後,引用四組實驗數據集來來驗證所提出譜峰度熵方法的可靠性,除可有效鑑別軸承健康狀態外,在SOM滾動軸承健康診斷中可達到跨型號(欠缺軸承型號相關訊息)診斷之目的,且動態剩餘壽命預估也具有一定的準確度。 The purpose of this study is to develop an intelligent diagnosis system for rolling bearings. The diagnosis for rolling bearings is aiming to identify its overall healthy state instead of detail examination for the faulty component inside the bearing. The reason is that in practice the whole bearing in the mechanical equipment is required to be replaced even though the faulty is caused by some of its components, e.g. the inner ring, outer ring, the roller etc. The thesis consists of three parts. In the first part, a novel bearing diagnosis technique called Spectral Kurtosis Entropy (SKE) which combines Entropy and Spectral Kurtosis to assess the bearing healthy state is proposed. The performance of this proposed SKE is assessed using Fisher Score (FS). In the second part, Self-organizing map (SOM) is utilized identify the faulty bearing from the healthy one with SKE, Sample Entropy (SE) and Root mean square (RMS) from bearing vibration signal as features respectively.A method of estimation for bearing Remaining Useful Life (RUL) is introduced in the third part. The estimation for bearing RUL is based on the Mahalanobis distance according to the Minimum quantization error (MQE) from the SOM neuron model.The proposed intelligent diagnosis technique is validated using the data sets from NASA, PHM and experiments. Results show that the bearing healthy state can be assessed by the proposed SKE with a performance better than SK.. It is worth of noting that the prior knowledge of the bearing type is not required whenconducting the rolling bearing healthy assessment using SOM neuron model with SKE as the feature

    [[abstract]]機控整合模擬分析目標為建立虛擬工具機,以模擬真實機台之動態行為;分析模型是否具備真實機台之動態特性參數,將影響模擬結果之可信度,故本篇論文將針對已完成材料性質、接觸剛性驗證之立式加工中心機分析模型,應用縮減模型於五大鑄件(底座、立柱、平台、鞍座、頭座)以加快電腦計算時間,從模態測試實驗與簡諧分析進行驗證,運用結構頻率響應函數進行工具機阻尼鑑別流程,包含結構阻尼、地腳阻尼、進給系統接合面阻尼。首先,使用五大鑄件各別敲擊模態鑑別出其結構阻尼後,為了獲得各部件、構件和?件之間的接合阻尼,整機採取階段組裝,首先底座安裝地腳於地面上,進行模態實驗測試與簡諧響應分析以鑑別地腳阻尼,接著安裝鞍座與底座上用於工具機接合處的機械元件,如Y軸線性滑軌與滑塊接觸面,依序進行整合模態實驗與簡諧響應分析結果,以鑑別各軸滑塊、螺桿之接觸阻尼;接序安裝工作台,重覆上述分析的鑑別與驗證,直至整機安裝完成依組立工具機機台順序;最後將應用所建立之鑑別流程,探討人造花崗岩高阻尼特性對於精密磨齒機結構響應之影響性。 The goal of the coupling mechanic controller (i.e. mechatroller) modeling is to build a virtual machine tool so as to predict the dynamic performance of the real machine tool. How to identify the dynamic physical parameters from the real machine tool would affect the reliability of the mechatroller model. Therefore, the thesis utilizes the Component Mode Synthesis method on five casting parts, i.e. base, saddle, working plate, column, and spindle, to decrease the PC computing time. On the basis of the vertical machining center with the verified material properties and the joint stiffness, the harmonic response analysis was validated with the experimental modal analysis (EMA) to identify the damping parameter of the machine tool from the structural frequency response. The identification process of the damping includes the structural damping, the foundation damping, and the joint damping of the feed drive system. First, the structural damping of five casting parts was be identified from the EMA. In order to acquire joint contact damping between each part, the whole machine tool was assembled part by part. The base was setup on the ground with foundations. EMA was measured to validate the harmonic response analysis and identify the foundation damping. In the next step, the saddle and the feed drive systems, e.g. screw and sliders, were setup upon the base to validate the harmonic response analysis with EMA for acquiring the joint contact damping. Then, the working plate was setup to follow the above steps until the whole machine tool was completely setup and analyzed. Finally, the proposed identification process would be applied to discuss the influence of high damping characteristics of artificial granite on structural response of the precision grinding machine tool
