Teamwork skills are important to practice during higher educational studies to prepare students for the future working life. Since online learning has established itself as a relevant part of higher education, we present here an approach to online team-based learning and show the performance of students during the teamwork, proven by learning analysis data. In addition, results from a feedback survey of students´ opinions on teamwork are presented. Online teamwork was implemented for master level biomedicine students from four different Universities in Nordic countries, and student interaction was evaluated. Learning analytics data were collected from Discord, which was the communication platform for students and teachers during the teamwork. The Community of Inquiry (CoI) framework was used as guidance, and indicators of CoI's social, cognitive, and teaching presences were used as a scheme for coding the interaction. To recognize the process of collaboration, the data were first analyzed by using process mining. Further, to understand the multidimensional property of collaboration, we developed a network analysis and visualized the results using Gephi and the Fruchterman-Reingold layout algorithm. The quantitative results of the feedback survey were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and visualized using the R package likert. The learning analytics data included 316 posts divided to 686 annotations, which were categorized to codes. Our results indicate that the most frequent codes were the ones related to the social dimension of CoI, determined with attributes such as ‘interactive’ (173), ‘cohesion’ (119) and ‘affective’ (116). The remaining most frequent codes alternated between ‘facilitation’ and ‘cognition’. Thus, social presence, in the context of CoI was considerable in our online team-based learning approach. However, to enhance students' cognitive presence, and thereby their ability to construct and confirm meaning of what they are learning, students' work should be facilitated by increasing teaching presence through teacher’s contribution online. In line with the learning analytics data, the results of the survey pointed out the need of more in-depth instructions on how to carry out the team exercises, which belongs to the teaching presence category in the frame of CoI. Based on the results of this study and the existing literature, we aim to improve our teambased learning approach and outcomes in the future by increasing students’ contribution through regular feedback assignments during the work and encouraging learners to reflect on their own work, contribution and thinking.</p
Wetland deposit in the hinterland: Kihliä flint find assemblage (southeast Finland) in the framework of hunter–fisher–gatherer ritual practices in northeastern Europe in the early 4th millennium BC
More than a century ago, a collection of flint artefacts dating to the early 4th millennium BC was discovered in Kihliä, SE Finland. In this paper, we revisit the Kihliä assemblage by reconstructing the original findspot and examining its environmental context during the suggested time of deposition. As a result, we suggest that the Kihliä artefacts were deposited in a wetland area situated in a forested hinterland, distant from known Stone Age settlement sites in the region. By placing the Kihliä assemblage within the broader context of early 4th millennium BC ritual depositional practices in northeastern Europe and by comparing these practices to those from preceding periods in the surrounding regions of Finland, we propose that the Kihliä deposit was likely a ritually marked deposit. Remarkably, landscape-wise, the Kihliä deposit differs from other ritual deposits or sites from the same period in Finland, which are typically found in shore-bound locations. Consequently, this study suggests that small inland water bodies or wetlands, as well as water routes leading into the hinterland, could also serve as significant locations for ritual activities.</p

Albuminuria and Microalbuminuria as Predictors of Cognitive Performance in a General Population: An 11-Year Follow-Up Study
Microalbuminuria, defined as urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR)> 3.0 mg/mmol and 3.0 mg/mmol), and cognitive impairment. Previous studies on microalbuminuria, albuminuria, and cognition in the middle-aged have not provided repeated cognitive testing at different time-points. We hypothesized that albuminuria (micro-plus macroalbuminuria) and microalbuminuria would predict cognitive decline independently of previously reported risk factors for cognitive decline, including cardiovascular risk factors. In addition, we hypothesized that UACR levels even below the cut-off for microalbuminuria might be associated with cognitive functioning. These hypotheses were tested in the Finnish nationwide, population-based Health 2000 Survey (n = 5,921, mean age 52.6, 55.0% women), and its follow-up, Health 2011 (n = 3,687, mean age at baseline 49.3, 55.6% women). Linear regression analysis was used to determine the associations between measures of albuminuria and cognitive performance. Cognitive functions were assessed with verbal fluency, word-list learning, word-list delayed recall (at baseline and at follow-up), and with simple and visual choice reaction time tests (at baseline only). Here, we show that micro-plus macroalbuminuria associated with poorer wordlist learning and a slower reaction time at baseline, with poorer word-list learning at follow-up, and with a steeper decline in word-list learning during 11 years after multivariate adjustments. Also, higher continuous UACR consistently associated with poorer verbal fluency at levels below microalbuminuria. These results suggest that UACR might have value in evaluating the risk for cognitive decline

Adjustable Halo is an experimental interactive art installation that uses a camera, a projector and a gesture-based Leap Motion controller to achieve a mixed reality experience. The installation was set up in an art exhibition, where approximately 1500 users interacted with it. This paper discusses the technical implementation details of the installation and the success of the experiment when it comes to mixing augmented reality and contemporary art.</p
Discursive Study of Religion. Reviewing the State of the Art in Finland
This article reviews the state of the art of the discursive study of religion (DSR) in Finland through two recent monographs and an edited volume. These are approached from the point of view of a potential user of the conceptual tools of DSR, as well as a teacher of qualitative methods. The article summarizes the definitions of, variations within, as well as typologies and levels of DSR as they are portrayed in the three books. Finally, attention is paid to some practicalities of doing DSR.</p
Flow and hardening behavior in the heat-affected zone of welded ultra-high strength steels
The applications of thermomechanically processed ultra-high strength steels (UHSS) are rapidly increasing, and welding these UHSSs seems inevitable in steel structures. However, welding heat causes unwanted microstructural transformations in the heat-affected zone (HAZ). Due to the localized nature of these changes throughout the HAZ, evaluating the true stress-strain values of these localized HAZ subzones is essential to improve the accuracy of analytical or numerical models. Hence, this study utilized experimental thermal simulations to replicate HAZ subzones of two types of UHSSs, i.e., direct-quenched S960 and quenched-and-tempered S1100, and employed tensile test in conjunction with digital image correlation to plot the true stress-strain and hardening curves of the subzones. Both UHSSs manifested similar trends but with various fluctuations in their hardening capacities throughout their HAZ subzones. Next, hardening parameters from Hollomon, Voce, and Kocks-Mecking approaches were extracted by fitting the experimental results with the semi-empirical equations. For both UHSS types, the Voce approach, on average, was more accurate in modeling the plastic deformation. Also, hardening parameters achieved via the Voce approach's fittings agreed with the parameters from Kocks-Mecking plots; this consistency pointed to the predictability of the plastic flow and hardening behavior of both UHSS types. According to the microstructural investigations, the hardening behavior of the investigated HAZ subzones depended on two types of microstructure constituents: ferritic and lath-like features. Ferritic features dominantly governed the plastic flow and hardening near the fusion line, while by getting distant from the fusion line, the lath-like features became more dominant
A Hubble Space Telescope Search for r-Process Nucleosynthesis in Gamma-Ray Burst Supernovae
The existence of a secondary (in addition to compact object mergers) source of heavy element (r-process) nucleosynthesis, the core-collapse of rapidly rotating and highly magnetized massive stars, has been suggested by both simulations and indirect observational evidence. Here, we probe a predicted signature of r-process enrichment, a late-time (greater than or similar to 40 days post-burst) distinct red color, in observations of gamma-ray burst supernovae (GRB-SNe), which are linked to these massive star progenitors. We present optical to near-IR color measurements of four GRB-SNe at z less than or similar to 0.4, extending out to >500 days post-burst, obtained with the Hubble Space Telescope and large-aperture ground-based telescopes. Comparison of our observations to models indicates that GRBs 030329, 100316D, and 130427A are consistent with both no enrichment and producing 0.01-0.15 M-circle dot of r-process material if there is a low amount of mixing between the inner r-process ejecta and outer supernova (SN) layers. GRB 190829A is not consistent with any models with r-process enrichment >= 0.01 M-circle dot. Taken together the sample of GRB-SNe indicates color diversity at late times. Our derived yields from GRB-SNe may be underestimated due to r-process material hidden in the SN ejecta (potentially due to low mixing fractions) or the limits of current models in measuring r-process mass. We conclude with recommendations for future search strategies to observe and probe the full distribution of r-process produced by GRB-SNe.</p
