    No full text
In the last years, events and festivals have been having more and more influence when it comes to the tourism development of Istria. Growth in interest of events and festival destinations can be explained by an adaptation to trends and the demands of Millennia’s. Since there is a lack of research done on the intangible aspects of tourism in Istria, this paper is focused on Millennials’ expectations and motivations to attend tourist events and festivals. By focusing on the expectations of the Millennia’s, this paper will show if those have been met. The paper questionnaire was delivered to a specific targeted group of Millennia’s who have already experienced some of the events and festivals in Istria to provide an accurate estimate of their reactions and expectations with regard to those tourism offerings. Furthermore, the questionnaire measured all the key issues concerning those events and festivals. The results of this paper suggested that there are some minor issues that need to be improved. On the other hand, most of the results are positive and are suggesting that events and festivals offered in Istria are generally good, but there is still an area of improvement in order to meet the expectations of this specific generation

This paper reexamines the impact of political orientation, activism and moral attitudes on sustainable consumption preferences in Montenegro. Questionnaire was administered in three different Montenegrin cities, and 66 responses were collected. The results show that people who are more liberal in their political attitudes do seem to engage in more sustainable behavior but only of moderate form, such as socially oriented consumption that includes fair trade, boycotting and similar activities. Additionally, a relationship between political activism and sustainable consumption was detected. This paper suggests that activism no longer seems to be connected to the left-right polarization of political spectrum, nor to the liberal vs. the traditional values. New activists come from all spectrums, and they are the ones practicing sustainable consumption, at least as far as Montenegro is concerned

Artificial intelligence and machine learning have recently made its way into human resources management. In this context, humans can train machines to identify a job candidate that would be a good match for the company among thousands of candidates, at least this the intention of this approach. While we can anticipate benefits of implementing such solutions there are many controversies surrounding this technology. In this research we are probing some key questions and principles that will shape the HR practice in the near future and how the workforce interacts with companies. Future workforce can expect being screened, interviewed and evaluated by a machine. Can such an approach be an honest sign that companies are trying to gain a better insight, reduce risk and even deliver valuable propositions of individuals themselves? Our research is showing that this process ought to be used with care and ethically so that the trust, and perception of fairness between job candidates and companies using this technology is not compromised. As this hiring practice is gaining ground, we found that there is a high level of caution and distrust toward such technology
