These provide crucial data to constrain models of planetary atmospheres and interiors. This thesis explores the link between a planet’s atmosphere, its interior structure, and evolution. By combining the individual models, the goal is to replicate observations and uncover insights into planetary formation and evolution. No full textPSP und ALS sind neurodegenerative Erkrankungen, deren klinische Erscheinungsformen sich bei gleichzeitiger frontotemporaler Demenz und oberen Motoneuronsyndrom überschneiden können. PSP ist eine 4R-Tauopathie, ALS eine TDP-43-Proteinopathie; diese Unterscheidung ist therapeutisch wichtig, jedoch ohne spezifische Biomarker erschwert. Ziel war die ante mortem Differenzierung von PSP und ALS mittels morphometrischer Messungen des mediansagittalen Mittelhirns zur Vorhersage ihrer Histopathologie. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die mediansagittale Mittelhirnfläche diese Unterscheidung nicht vermag.PSP and ALS are neurodegenerative diseases whose clinical presentations can overlap in cases of concurrent frontotemporal dementia and upper motor neuron syndrome. PSP is a 4R tauopathy, while ALS is a TDP-43 proteinopathy; this distinction is therapeutically important but difficult to make without specific biomarkers. The aim of this study is the ante mortem differentiation of PSP and ALS using morphometric measurements of the midsagittal midbrain to predict their underlying histopathology. The results show that the midsagittal midbrain area does not enable this differentiation
Analysis of the role of quantum effects in coherent diffractive imaging
Get PDFSingle-shot coherent diffractive imaging (CDI) has proven to be a successful tool for analyzing the structure of individual free nanoparticles and tracking their light-induced dynamics with exceptional spatial and temporal resolution. Nonlinear quantum effects are particularly important in the context of resonant excitation and high intensities. In this work, a density matrix-based scattering model was developed in order to include such quantum effects in the local medium response and explore the transition from linear to nonlinear CDI for the scattering from Helium nanodroplets.Die kohärente diffraktive Einzelschuss-Bildgebung (CDI) hat sich als erfolgreiches Instrument zur Analyse der Struktur einzelner freier Nanopartikel und zur Verfolgung ihrer lichtinduzierten Dynamik mit hoher raumzeitlicher Auflösung erwiesen. Dabei sind nichtlineare Quanteneffekte im Zusammenhang mit resonanter Anregung und hohen Intensitäten besonders wichtig. In dieser Arbeit wurde ein Dichtematrix-Streumodell entwickelt, um solche Effekte in die lokale Medienantwort einzubeziehen und den Übergang von linearem zu nichtlinearem CDI für die Streuung an Helium-Nanotröpfchen zu untersuchen

A dynamic archetype analysis shows that site-specific measures could improve the resilience of farms. German peatland protection policy is identified as a ‘wicked problem’, with barriers that highlight the gap between its importance and conservation efforts. A cost analysis shows that current rewetting subsidies are insufficient; therefore, the development of value-added opportunities for rewetted areas is crucial

Get PDFAdvanced quantitative methods are used to analyze the scattering and rheology of interacting colloidal many-particle systems. By combining a coarse-grained core-shell model with multi-component Percus-Yevick theory, the self-organization of PDMS-stabilized PMMA particles is quantitatively described and their suitability as a hard sphere model system is proven. Mode-coupling theory (MCT), incorporating hydrodynamic interactions, predicts transport properties of these systems with quantitative accuracy. The viscoelastic response of network-forming colloidal gels is also analyzed using MCT.Fortgeschrittene Datenanalysemethoden erlauben die quantitative Modellierung von Rheologie und Streuexperimenten an kolloidalen Vielteilchensystemen. Mit einem vereinfachten Kern-Schale-Modell und Mehrkomponenten-Percus-Yevick-Theorie wird die Selbstorganisation von PDMS-stabilisierten PMMA-Partikeln beschrieben und ihre Eignung als Harte-Kugel-Systeme bestätigt. Modenkopplungstheorie liefert quantitative Vorhersagen für die Transporteigenschaften dieser Systeme und wird ebenfalls zur Analyse der viskoelastischen Eigenschaften von netzwerkbildenden kolloidalen Gelen genutzt

Um den RFCC-Score schließlich für praxistauglich und allgemeingültig anwendbar zu befinden, sollte in einer multizentrisch ausgerichteten Studie mit einer größeren Kohorte insbesondere die Interrater-Reliabilität getestet werden

Eine erniedrigte Fertilität konnte nicht nachgewiesen werden. Frauen mit vWS erlitten häufiger präpartale Blutungen, jedoch war der peripartale Blutverlust vermutlich aufgrund einer erhöhten intraoperativen Awareness für Blutungskomplikationen geringer als in der Kontrollgruppe. Ein verdachtsunabhängiges Screening im Labor auf Vorliegen eines vWS bei Frauen mit unerfülltem Kinderwunsch sollte nicht erfolgen
